History: SS Obergruppenführer Bittrich of the 1944 Arnhem battle had his command post here..
(I haven’t slept here yet, hence4 stars)
A cute castle in a silent place. Good for a walk. Parking, walking routs.

A good organization I recommend fully! The place is historical and it is part of the long Amsterdam past, where you can learn more about empathy and the protestant principle of helping others.
Lo mejor muy buen personal y doña Lucia SUPER 💥👌
ze helpen mensen veel
Super mooie verbindende plek waar de mens niet eenzaam is.
It is a pretty place to have a walk. The nearby forest is relaxing.

Excellent place 👌
Not nice people I think... Yesterday I was meeting some friends, having a coffee from the garden restaurant with my dog by my feet when the gardener informed me that the garden is private property and that dogs were not allowed. Guess can't argue with them not allowing dogs or not allowing you to push your bike through the garden - that's what private property allows you to decide. But when you tell the gardener that you will leave once you finish your coffee, do you really need him to go get another supervisor to come over to you again 2 minutes later to chase you out of the garden?
3 people and a little dog sitting peacefully in the garden, talking and finishing their coffee should not be a huge issue in today's time & situation. When someone tells you that they are going to leave your garden in a few minutes, do you really need to hassle them that way?
Protestant Diaconie... that's what we'll all remember about you (and not whatever good you may be doing in the community).

Where help is given free from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
It is a pity we were not able to visit the castle but we understand that when people stay here for rest and quiet the tourists would only distract and disturb them.
We had a nice coffee and tea, plus a nice piece of Dutch apple pie at the coach house and visited the local products shop
Afterwards we had a very nice walk through the woods.
Me atendieron muy bien, aunque espero que terminen pronto mi Belastingdienst, gracias.

Most amazing.
Beautiful castle, i think it could be a very good place where spending few days for relaxing
This place is just like many other historical places a sort of destroyed by the way we are today. While it was officially build as a status building for highly important people it now takes place as a hotel for anyone.
Thanks to the government it belongs to list with monumental buildings so that no one may customize the outside of the building. Also the gardens around are owned by the government and opened to the public.
It still is a beautiful place to go someday to visit the gardens and take a look inside the castle. Notice that it can be busy at sunny days and that parking is free.
Verrassend lekker gegeten!
Top!
Their Hoftuin (garden) is a lovely place to sit enjoy the weather, or walk-in at the restaurant.
Great Organisation involved in helping undocumented migrants and refugees to find their ways, by counselling, schooling, cultural activities and much more...
