Visited Sculptureum today. Amazing. Exceeded my expectations. The colour of the leaves are still so vibrant, even at this time of the year and that's just the trees! It's amazing how art can really trigger emotion. I came out feeling inspired and wanting to nurture my own (tiny) creative nature😍

Went with family, there were nine of us (aged 17-70+yrs) and everyone loved it! Plenty of parking. Well kept place/grounds. Popular restaurant. Staff are amazing, welcoming and friendly. The weather was overcast but umbrellas are provided for the walk/stroll. Awesome gallery and garden!
The best, staff, service and the owner is not too bad either 😉
Excellent range of products.
Top notch 👍
Good place for essentials. Parking is available and centrally located in town

Excellent place to visit, something for everyone. Easy walk through curated gardens and galleries. Allow 2 hours minimum to soak it in. On-site cafe for a bite as well.

We did as afternoon activities for family. We liked the sculptures and the walk around. We bought tickets on bookme for $27 per adult. Definitely better price than $50 on sport.

We had a couple of grabone vouchers and decided to visit. The sculptures and the gallery were outstanding. Great customer service upon arrival. Great for kids as plenty for them to explore, such as birds ,turtles, and a bunny. Restaurant and wine tasting require booking. Otherwise, hot chips, coffee, drinks and ice cream are available from the ticket counter.

Great local SA shop. Really good variety of grocery items and I always end up leaving with more than I planned! The artwork deserves a special mention - I definitely have a couple pieces on my wishlist.

OMG I am in beefy bovril heaven! And all the other goodies including drinks and jewellery. Run by a really nice family and you can get coffees too. Lots of parking. Thank you from Australia, I will be back! P.S. Just on the northern outskirts of Wellsford I think, on main road 😋👌
Amazing experience here, they had a lot of south African merchandise from Art and sculptures to delicious biltong and alcohol. The liquor here is great, we had a coco Loco and it was to die for that we had to come back and get more. This is an amazing speciality shop that we will definitely be back for. Best part is, you don't have to drive there, you can simply order online!

Go here at least once a week, to get my fix of Hot Chilli Bites! Wide variety of Biltong, to suit everyone's tastes! Also stock a variety of South African foods, sweets, and beverages! Also have a wide array of gifts, trinkets, art, and clothing, well worth checking out, when traveling along state highway 1 through Wellsford!

Went here 3 weeks ago. A very awful experience. I used to love this place as a South African supporting another South African business. The last time I went the lady was grimly ( weekend of 21 July) no greeting, no smile no thank. Although I wanted to spend $300 , l decided to spend $50. Also why pay 309% more when l can get friends to bring it for me from ekhaya or Africa and I can by it online for a cheaper price.

Otherwise an OK shop for those missing Africa ( egoli) .
It will do well if they sell pap and mawoso ( Braaai and chakalaka). Just a suggestion 😉

This place is worth going, and I would like to visit again in the future:) It is saperated into three gardens and six galleries where there are more than 800 works displaying. I love the Palm garden the most, and the Pink Snail Garden is fun too! Other than sculptures, there are also some real animals, including bunny, turtles, parrots and so on. One of the parrots can say 'Hello' again and again, which made us lingering for a long time😆 Free carpark outside, and the ticket is 49.50 pp (it's 38 pp if you're a resident). Staff is nice and welcoming.
A very convenient grocer, just walking distance from all the touristy places so while returning to your accommodations you can get snacks, drinks and ingredients for your next cooked meal.

The biggest convenience store in the cbd area, although it's still considered small.
It has all the basic things plus hot food. There are many customers here so it can get crowded because the asiles are narrow.

A truly amazing place, well worth the hour drive out of Auckland. Spent a good couple of hours here wandering through the amazing outdoor sculptures and gallery inside. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Took the kids for a day out at Sculptureum and we loved it. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff are welcoming and lovely.

We enjoyed the art and gardens so much. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but we'd love to do that next time.

Just had an incredible cocktail at the vintry - if you like tequila try this for sure. melon baby: tequila, jalapeno, melon, lime. It wasn't hot spicy, but a perfect blend with the lime and melon. Best cocktail I've had in years (and I've had a few)

One of your classic outdoor museums, quite a lot of visitors but didn’t feel too crowded. Worthy of visiting once. Not sure about a second time though. You can spend half a day there, including eating at their restaurant.
They got the best to assortment of whiskies I've come across so far great customer service

The absolute stunning place if you are interested in different forms of art. I loved gardens and art gallery.

Kids will love this place with multiple farm animals and birds in the gardens.

Must visit if you are close to Matakana and I personally feel its under-rated place. But worth to visit it.
Friendly helpful staff. Great variety of spirits wine and beer options to. Plus you can drive through.
Very friendly staff and a great supply of beverages..
The go to supermarket for groceries when visiting Queenstown. Good variety of fresh and processed foods, reasonable prices for a tourist location. Helpful staff. Stocked up on snacks and fruit. Better to come early in the day as some of the fresh produce sell out.

Fab evening here to celebrate my husbands birthday! Food was fantastic, and the bar has such a lovely atmosphere. There was live music on which we loved.
Helpful staff, with a wide variety of knowledge, about their products, and your needs! On main road, and especially easy access if heading South, and you can drive right up to the door. Prices are always pretty competitive! 👍
Sadly I felt the staff were not friendly. I understand it is a busy time of year but left with a sour taste from the experience because of the poor/blunt customer service.

Great staff friendly and helpful they know what stock they have in and dont
Great selection for a small store.
In the states this would be similar to a Piggly Wiggly; it's a store slightly larger than a gas station but has a wide selection of goods/drinks and has some prepared food as well.
The prices are okay, not super cheap but not super expensive. The product quality was pretty good, and the prepared food was slightly plastic-y but still tasted fresh.
The location is also highly convenient if you're staying to the east of town as it's sometimes just a 10 minute walk.

Only went in for a vape. When inquiring he overlooked me to serve another which was fine at the time because I was still deciding. The server became impatient due to my indecision and started acting weird. Then customers started lining up and the server began to rush me. An uncomfortable experience indeed. After all was done I wished him a safe festive season :) Other times have been pleasant honestly.
PROBABLY the BEST PRICE in overpriced Queenstown.
I've been to night n day and other dairy but this one gives the most reasonable price. Most stuffs were less than double the normal price (most dairies double their price). I wished I found this place earlier so I didn't have to spend $60 on a bag of grocery...

They also have self checkout which makes payments faster.

Construction and scaffolding outside which makes finding the entrance hard. However it is still open and you can often follow other shoppers into the store if unsure of where to go. There are a limited amount of choices for certain products but still sufficient for getting essential goods. There are often markdown prices on bakery items which are a decently good deal. Quite convenient to nearby shop and hotels.
Pleasent and friendly, clean and safety precautions (covid) clearly set out
Great shop, good specials friendly staff.

Me and my buddy are regular here and this place never fails to surprise us. Weekends or weekdays, rest assured that you will well looked after. In our case we were attended by Kelly and though we reached a little before the closing, we were not rushed at all and took our own sweet time to finish the dinner. The food is always great here and so is their bar...plus there is a guitar kept right next to the fireplace which is always perfectly tuned!!!Perfect setting for a perfect dinner!
Their service will definitely have you coming back again and again. 7 stars!!!

Love the biltong here! The Chakalaka flavor is the best. This is the best biltong I’ve found in the Rodney area. Cool little shop with tons of unique items. Staff was super friendly and gave us great descriptions of the different flavors of biltong when we were trying to decide. Will definitely be a return customer here.

We arrived 15 minutes after they opened on a Friday afternoon and were the only patrons. We were not greeted by the bartender, so we wandered out to the deck. After settling in and waiting for several more minutes, it became apparent that there was no table service. So we went back inside and inquired if they had a wine menu. The bartender rudely nodded his head towards a board with white plastic letters listing the wines and offered no other information, nor a single word. So much for my hopes of learning a bit about the wines and doing a tasting! My friend from overseas suggested we go somewhere else, and I was mortified, as I’ve been bragging about how friendly Kiwis are. I wanted to politely excuse ourselves, but they bartender grabbed a box and walked out on us, without even making eye contact. You never know what people are going through to make them act they way they do, but perhaps it would be better to stay home for the day or find a different line of work that better suits you if this is how you treat customers. The deck and ambiance were nice, so it could have had potential, but absolutely the worst service of any place I’ve ever visited!

Very small store. They have most everything you will need. Located on the only busy road. They even have a small selection of cooked items like fried chicken and meat pies. Female staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. One male stocking meat section was visibly annoyed when asked question about thicker steaks. It is the only grocery store in the area.
Great staff wide variety

A must go spot for anyone who visits Matakana and loves wine and of course food! These guys stock quite a range of wines from different wineries of Matakana. This place had a wonderful ambience with wood fire. Got to taste 12 wines and then go down to the restaurant to have dinner. The staff is very well mannered and the food is amazing! Kudos team!

Really nice cozy bar, lovely indoor and outdoor (balcony) seating. Clean, friendly staff, apart from drinks also a good selection of affordable food!

In the hands of new owners for the past two-three years, so the review from 7 years ago which is giving the vintry a bit of a bad average should be ignored.

Excellent service and tasty, affordable food. Indoor and outdoor areas are warm, clean and well decorated. The perfect place to get tapas and wine before or after a movie.
