During my recent trip to Panama, I had the pleasure of visiting Praia Amador. The restaurant's exterior design caught my eye immediately; it boasts a stunning wooden structure with a very modern aesthetic. This unique blend of rustic and contemporary elements drew me in, and I decided to give it a try.
Upon entering, I was greeted by a quick and friendly male host. Given the intense heat outside, I opted for an indoor table with air conditioning—yes, I admit, I can be a bit spoiled! Despite the beautiful sun shining outside, I preferred the comfort of the cool indoors.
The server was prompt and polite, making a commendable effort to speak English. Thankfully, they had an English menu, which made ordering much easier. I decided on squid and shrimp with rice, a dish that perfectly combined the freshness of seafood with local delicacies. It was absolutely delightful.
Praia Amador offers a variety of seating areas, each with its own unique setup. One area even features hammocks and a sand floor, adding to the tropical vibe. I chose a spot facing the pool, surrounded by the ambiance of Copacabana. The bar, with its wave-like silk or sack canopy, added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere.
The prices were quite reasonable, and the service was excellent. As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't help but wish my wife were there to share the experience with me. It was a memorable visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.
If I have the opportunity to visit Praia Amador again, I definitely plan to relax in one of the hammocks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and a unique dining environment in Panama.

Este lugar ofrece promociones de happy hour en cervezas artesanales hasta las 7 de la noche, y son de muy buena calidad. Pocos bares tienen estas ofertas hasta tan tarde. Es un excelente lugar con buena música variada, perfecto para ir con amigos y disfrutar de un buen rato.
The best food in low key atmosphere. Try the crispy whole fish. We loved it.
Bernardo was exceptionally the best waiter I ever had. From we entered the beautiful place he greeted us with such a warm welcome. He showed us our king crab and lobster before it was prepared. He made sure he was always in clear sight in case we needed anything. Thanks for your service.
Bernardo provided amazing service at the amazing establishment. The chef took the fish we caught and made an amazing ceviche and grilled fish! Must check this place out
While visiting this beautiful area we stopped for a bite and a beer. I cannot say enough in words to describe the exquisite service provided by Breyner and the manager, EROS. EROS came to the table and offered different suggestions in our meal as well as a drink that would complement the food the best. So impressed with the food and especially the service.
Great ambiance and fantastic food. Highly recommend the ceviche and fried fish. If you’re lucky, Bernardo will be your waiter. He was very attentive and helpful. Ask for the corner 4 top table if available.

El ambiente es agradable, sin embargo el menú no fue de mi agrado, las porciones no valen lo que cuestan pero sera de su criterio al ver las imágenes, en lo personal me lo pensaría en volver ya que no disfrute tampoco el sabor.
This place had a wonderful vibe and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I think this would be a better vibe with a bigger group or with more comfortable seating. The food was good and came out fast but the pineapple in the dishes overpowered a lot of the other flavoring which was a little disappointing. All in all it was a lovely lunch. But it was a bit on the pricey side for what you receive.
We tried the seafood platter and some great drinks. Nice views of the bay.

The view is nice and their pizzas are delicious, large and reasonably priced, albeit they take a long time to make. The guy who initially seated us and took our orders, who I think may have been the owner was absolutely wonderful. However, there was one waiter who randomly came up to us, and was really creepy and was insisted on knowing the exact name of the hotel we're staying at. When he failed to get it out of me, he walked away seemingly displeased, then proceeded to stand and stare at us from the other end of the restaurant. Is this restaurant only for guests of the adjacent hotel? If not, what business is it of his which hotel we're staying at? If it weren’t for him, the place would be getting 5 stars.
Asistimos en el Burger week, buena comida y ambiente, el mesero servicial no los culpo por la demora pues había casa llena, la argentus estaba rica pero creo que pudo estar mejor si era mas caliente. No comimos al mismo tiempo porque las hamburguesas no llegaron juntas. Rescato que es petfriendly y hasta le dieron un treat de panchos a nuestro peludito. 🐶
This place is a whole vibe! The pool on the center was so nice and serene. The food was delicious I had a fried red snapper and seafood sauce. The food was so fresh. The ambience was 10/10 the outdoor sitting is a front row sit (couches) to the ocean. The games and polite staff was added plus!
The food was great tasting and flavourful, we got our meals in like 20 minutes of placing the orders.
The music, vibe and atmosphere was good, they played a mixture of music.
We all had a great time, would recommend this restaurant and I will be going back on my next trip to Panama.

Fui por primera vez a la barra a un show y fue mi peor experiencia la comida la pedi a las 8 y a las 10 me llegó, fueron unos nachos y una hamburguesa de pollo, los salones me preguntaron dos veces que era lo que había pedido, ni Servilleta nos trajeron,el pollo de la hamburguesa tenía una textura a una carne osea durisimaa😒 y lo peor del caso esque el lugar no estaba lleno, cuando termine de comer llegue a mi casa y vomite toda la comida😒.
Great value for amazing ceviche and fresh fish. Our waitress was really friendly and helped us selected some great dishes. The best place to eat on the Amador Causeway.
Excelente lugar, el menú está ufff a pedir de boca, lo que más resalta es la variedades de cervezas artesanales nacionales e internacionales pero sobre todo la sangría de cerveza hecha de la misma casa ufff, así que lo recomiendo a 💯.
Modern, great location for the.marina. Good choice of food and the quality is very good. Service was a bit on the slow side but staff were friendly and we could more or less order in english..

I was exploring the area and decided to stop here for a late lunch. I ordered a pasta, a coconut lemonade, and an appetizer. Food and service was good.
Food was delicious. Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Recommended a meal and he was right. The food was delicious. Free wifi helped me get an uber afterwards being that i had no cellphone service. Will recommend this to anyone that goes to Panama.

Deberían cambiar el nombre o mejorar considerablemente la parte café del local,que es hermoso, pero no satisfactorio como tal específicamente por la calidad del café, cosas para comer ( un par de dulces), ausencia de wifi y calidad de la atención. Cómo lugar de compras muy lindo, pero deberían cambiar los objetos que tienen a la entrada ya que interrumpen la circulación, lo que hace que al momento de entrar por la puerta no se sienta bienvenido.

Nice place by the yachts, food really good. Service was good until the waiter asked to leave the tip cash.... which I didnt have as I pay all by credit card... anyways we enjoyed the rest
Uno de los DJ es Patán y Grosero, no me ha quedado más ganas de volver a este lugar, hasta me desafío directamente porque solicité preferencia musical, le diré a todas las personas que no asistan a ese lugar

Comi la Siempre Guapa y que va, era pura salsa y solamente le daba un sabor casi salado. No habia balance con los otros ingredientes. El Bacon tenia partes chiclosas que no se podían partir bien con los mordiscos por lo que te quedabas en medio mordisco jalando y tratando de cortarlo con los dientes.
El pan estaba rico y llevo rapido y calientita.
Habian otras opciones que queria probar pero esta tenia rating de las mas pedidas... error.

After our drink order mix up, I was afraid to try and communicate that the pizza was raw / doughy in the middle. It was not thoroughly cooked. We were so hungry we ate it. This place has the potential.

The place is decorated as a big beach party I really enjoyed my birthday at Praia. The place was clean and the bathrooms too. The environment was amaze with nice music. The service was outstanding. Quality, presentation and flavor of the food vs. the price was excellent. Finally, I can give my five starts to a place 🙌🏽
Generous. We ordered a shellfish -meat -shrimp combination. In retrospect pizza would have been smarter. A lot of the shellfish didn’t open. This would have been obvious to the staff. I think. Told the waiter ; not sure he cared. Actually sure he didn’t.

Great wood oven fired pizza made fresh while you enjoy the views over the water. Great friendly service too. Kids love the Hawaiana… yum!
Un gran robo y sucio fraude. Nunca había visto semejante desfachatez en falsa publicidad. En su menú ponen la foto de un costillar con DOCE costillas de cerdo, precios incluidos, cuando la traen solo ponen TRES costillas! Si reclamas te dicen: “En McDonald’s también ponen una foto más grande de la hamburguesa” increíble!

Mediocre ceviche place right next to the Panama sign. They serve different types of ceviche and other seafood dishes. The price is reasonable but that’s about it. Their ceviche is quite different from Peruvian ceviche I consider original/authentic.

Food was great but service could be better. They brought our food before our drinks and we had to get our waiters attention several times as it seemed he had forgotten about us. Overall great experience.
This is an excellent choice for cheviche and sea food in general! The one downside is the cost adds up quick here for those on a smaller budget. The croaker with mango is more of a dessert than a meal but very good! The sharing sample plate is huge and tasty. Those crab balls are especially good. A good option for a high-end seafood place.

In the last Island of Causeway, this is an oasis for Ceviche and beers. Once there, the staff immerse you in a frendly atmosphere. The aranitas appetizer is amazing, fried at the right point to have an amazing texture and taste. If talking about ceviche, the "combinación" is a kind of heaven in the tongue if you like acid. Totally recommended for any time

Watching the cook roll out the dough, it ran through my mind that it didn’t seem that sanitary. The work station/oven is beside the sidewalk.... people strolling by. Then 2 fellas (maybe the owners .??) hung around him while he’s making the pizza. I guess I’m paranoid about all those fellas hanging around while he prepares the pizza.
I ordered the vegetarian. It took FOREVER !, ... and we were the ONLY patrons there !!
Finally it arrives to the table and the crust looks great .... but it is so overloaded with veggies, they didn’t cook ! Stone cold ! Only the crust was worth eating.
Waiter never returned to check, and the 2 other fellas (again....maybe the owners??) were more concerned with ensuring the music videos on the TV were playing .
Don’t waste your time ..... there are plenty of other eateries all around the area.

This place is great! Delicious pizza, friendly service and a perfect setting overlooking the water. We've eaten here 5 of 7 days now,. If your a cruiser, Wednesdays are 20% off! Get some!

I really like this place! It’s so relaxing, you feel the soft winds of Panama City’s bay and see the unforgettable views of Panama City, I came here with my family and we had a nice pizza made in a wood oven! Very delicious! Good attention of the staff! We hope to come back soon!

Found inside the hilton on floor P, this bar is an understatement, it's way more than just a pool side bar, they have genuine entrees. At our stay in the hilton of all restaurants inside, this was the best, ate sushi, real juice smoothies, and a few of their dishes.
