The sizzling Sisig here is one of the best I’ve ever tasted with a nice fragrant and delicious crunch in every mouthful. Another interesting spin was the water melon sinigang a very refreshing addition to the original version. The best thing is the food was not expensive! It was a really enjoyable meal.

The food here is really outsanding! We enjoyed the food because it is really delicious. Big servings plus great food and good service equals very staisfied customer. I want to commend the staffs also. They are very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back! Thank you for serving quality food and providing great service :)
Kuya Roger and Ate Roxanne were very accomodating servers and the food was excellent. For a great restaurant, we incredibly appreciated the options for a smaller serving as Me and my husband were only looking for a lighter lunch. The servings also allowed us the chance to choose a few more dishes. We always love visiting and even lovelier that we were seated quickly without a long queue for a Sunday Lunch.

Manam's newest branch continues the restaurant's tradition of delivering exceptional Filipino cuisine with a twist, all within a setting that is both inviting and historically enriched. This location stands out not just for its food but also for its bright and appealing interior, decorated with authentic classic newspaper clippings that provide a nostalgic backdrop to the dining experience.

The service at Manam is noteworthy, with staff members who are attentive and responsive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was handled with care. This level of service contributes greatly to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant.

As for the food, it remains as delightful as ever, offering great value for money—a significant draw for many patrons. Our group of 16 indulged in a variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The adobong pusit was savory and perfectly seasoned, the beef salpicao was tender and rich, and the watermelon sinigang offered a unique and refreshing twist on the traditional sour soup. The chicken adobo was a hit for its classic taste, while the gising gising provided a spicy kick. The kangkong and sisig rounded out our meal with their robust flavors, and the rice was the perfect complement to all the dishes.

Visiting Manam is always a pleasure, and this new branch did not disappoint. The combination of excellent food, impeccable service, and charming decor makes it a must-visit location for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Filipino cuisine in a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. I eagerly look forward to my next visit, confident in the consistent quality that Manam continues to uphold.

Very bright and clean restaurant inside the Greenbelt. The crispy sisig and morning glory veggies were really good. The crispy palobok came puffed up in a pretty presentation and then a sauce was poured on top, which took away the crisp immediately. It was also on the salty side. The dishes came in small, medium, or large. The waiter told us that small was for 1-2 people. Our 3 small plates, plus drinks, were not enough to really fill us up. I suggest getting a medium for 2 until you plan on many dishes to try out.

Foods ordered:
House Sisig: tad salty and oily but still a classic restaurant staple
Pork and Chicken Garlic Adobo: balanced flavors w hint of ginger for every garlicky bite
Bituka: Clean taste of a classic greasy junk food
Peking Fried Chicken: Twist on the usual chinese style fried chicken
Salmon Sinegang: very pleasant and complementary sour soup to the salty and savory foods
Garlic rice: needs more garlic lol, good serving sizs
Server Jessilyn: attentive and active server.
Overall the vibe was pleasant and each server was attentive to the costumers.

Their sisig pizza is a must try culinary experience. When you add that sour white sauce, you get the full sisig experience. It’s unbelievable. Their tres leches halo-halo is also a must try!

We went here for dinner. We ordered their beef caldereta, sinigang, sisig, crispy pata, gising gising and their tinapa rice. Honestly I didn't like the crispy pata because its not crispy and it's really not good even if you add their soy sauce it's still not good. Beef caldereta is just OK not worth the price you can have much better beef caldereta elsewhere. I only enjoyed their sisig which is crispy and tasty, the sinigang is also good, gising gising is also good. Ambiance is good very clean and lighted. Service is good.

Order for 2 recipes and waisted 1 hour for nothing. The server had a bad attitude and kept on promising the food will be arriving soon but 1 hour isn’t enough for waiting. Not recommended. Very bad

Same as other reviews. Cold food. Servers didn’t even bring us water. Felt like they didn’t want us there. The restaurant was out of most of the main dishes. Worst dining experience I’ve had in the Philippines. I also think they are pocketing money since they “forgot” to add an item to the bill and charged us on the side. You know that money went in their pocket!

The food was good but we had to ask 3 times for a shake which we had almost at the end of our meal. While I was eating there was a cockroach crawling on our table... Now I know it's the Philippines but that's the type of stuff I would expect in an outdoor carenderia, not a sit-down restaurant inside a mall.

Want a change of scenery as far as food?

The soup was sour and the bitter melon is really salty and bitter but my mother didn’t think was. My mother loved it! Fried chicken is good! Sinigang Pork soup is good must try!

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary here at Ombu Kusina and we enjoyed our visit. We ordered sizzling pork sisig. It's good, it was authentic as it doesn't have mayonnaise. But it was kinda bland, so we asked for a soy sauce. It has an egg, the red chilli, no hot sauce though, but it's fine. It tasted like those original Kapampangan sisig. We also ordered for garlic rice for sharing. This one tastes so good, don't skip this one. Their salisbury bistek Tagalog was also good. Big serving, good-tasting sauce just like the original bistek Tagalog, and the touch of kalamansi made it taste better. Their calamares was a big serving also and it was perfectly fried and marinated. Somehow bland also but it's fine. The sauce that comes with it is just okay, but it's better if they can serve two different sauces for the calamares. We ordered cucumber kiwi lemon shake. This one is sweet. We suggest they lessen its sugar-level and add more lemon or kalamansi. For the dessert, their mocha sansrival was good! Add this to your order if you visit Ombu Kusina. And lastly, don't forget to try their tres leches halo-halo. It was sooo good. I'm not a fan of milky halo-halo, but this one, I highly recommend! The place is cozy, the play good and relaxing acoustic OPM music, the waiters/waitresses were all courteous and attentive to all customers, and even the guard at the parking area. The place is not that big but it's better if you drop by earlier before lunch. Ombu Kusina is at the ground level of Sequoia Hotel in Mo. Ignacia corner Timog Ave, Quezon City.

It was our first time here and we didn't regret it. The ambiance was relaxed, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The food were filling. We wanted to order more but our tummies were already protesting. We just decided to come back in the future for another filling and satisfying dining experience.

Just had lunch here after we were referred to eat here by a family friend. Boosog definitely did not disappoint! We ordered the pork/chicken adobo, pork bbq skewers, Bicol express, Shanghai lumpia, grilled pork belly, garlic rice, pancit guisado, pineapple & mango fresh juices. Everything was delicious, served quickly, great portions, and good prices. Would definitely recommend!
Easy to order, food is amazing and comes out fast. We fed 6 people for 2100 pesos

Slow service. Small food quantity. Salo means for sharing right? Now it looks solo. I used to like it here but not anymore. Will not go back after our experience today.
Always a fan of AA's BBQ, they have good and affordable food. Fried Garlic Shrimp, Baked Scallops, Calamares, Spicy Chorizo and Halaan Soup are some of my recommendations

My dining experience at Kuya J in Cebu was delightful. The restaurant's warm ambiance, coupled with friendly staff, created a welcoming atmosphere. The menu's diverse selection of Filipino dishes was a culinary treat, with each dish boasting authentic flavors. A great spot for those craving a taste of home-cooked Filipino cuisine with a touch of hospitality.

We attempted to order 2 dishes. They said they didn't receive food supply as scheduled.
We settled getting food that was available. 2 points: 1. food is not as flavorful compared to food that you get from the street. They market themselves as a high end family oriented restaurant. 2. Friends of the staff arrived. They all went to the back room and there was not anyone to attend to the customers. Staffed appeared lacking interest and focus.
I wouldn't recommend them. Servings are tiny yet pricey.

This restaurant was consistent in providing bad service. Waiting time is longer than usual, they don't serve your orders unless you keep on asking their waiters. The food was good but their service was mediocre. We were not supposed to eat here but my father insisted.

One of our favorite restos! The food was a flavorful journey, the cozy ambiance added to the experience, and the attentive and kind staff made us feel right at home. It's safe to say this is one of our top choices, and we can't wait to return for more delicious meals!

Its Filipino cuisines are delicious. They have helpful personnels. Since there are no more seats available, we made a reservation and payed in advance so that our order would be prepared in advance as well. I sincerely recommend this restaurant. We'll surely go back here.

All our orders were devoured in an instant. Super love their food! ❤️ Staff were also nice and very attentive.
Had a lunch stop with family here, we were from the airport and headed to SM.

Food was great, what i enjoyed most was the kinilaw, i don’t usually eat kinilaw but theirs tastes really good and made me have a 2nd thought on kinilaws, now i am more welcoming to try them again at different restos or the ones made at home. Baked scallops were yummm too.

We were only 2 big groups when we came so the service was ok.

They accept senior cards.

Parking isnt that good (in our experience, im not sure if they have backyard parking available but there’s a gasoline station beside so maybe some guests are allowed to park there)

It is beside the main road so expect big trucks noise and of course dustyy

Great place for a bbq in Cebu City close to our airport hotel Maayo.
The food never disappoints ❤️
Top favorite is the Sizzling Squid which is extremely tender ⭐️
- fast service so far 🤭
- more choices of foods available
- rooms for social events are also available
The place is great, and I love their food. The servers are excellent and fancy and can hold big bowls.

We waited for 15-20 minutes. Everything we ordered was just right except the Pancit.

The restaurant has a parking space at the side of Petron.

Staff may or not be attentive. They don’t take the initiative to sanitize your chair when they hand it to you. Other than that, food is good and served quickly.

Food was so amazing that we ended up eating the entire dishes we ordered without even remembering to take a picture after.

The goat Caldereta was well seasoned, but not overpowering. The kare kare was almost perfect. I just found the slices a little too large for my taste.

Service takes forever! Had to wait longer than usual before the food arrived. The staff was upfront about it though and managed our expectations.

In short, if you have a lot of time, then its a good place to try. I don't recommend it if you're in a rush though.
One of the best seafood restaurant brand in Cebu. As much as I like dining here, cleanliness is something that needs to be improved. Restaurants should also invest in maintaining their comfort rooms clean. What bothered me also is the dark green cloth used over and over again on cleaning utensils in the kitchen. Hygiene and Cleanliness should be improved.

I’ve been exploring several Filipino restaurants since I arrived from Chicago, and I’ve been to some which has failed to impress me until this one. Well not just Filipino food, more like Cebuano food. Their crispy pata was exactly how I want my crispy pata to be. I love the adobong kangkong, but I did not try the kare-kare which my family ordered. I didn’t see any oxtail but bits of bite sized meat. The tinolang manok was authentic, and the pancit look delicious. I am not into pancit, so I did not try it. I was not impressed with their dinuguan, but their nilagang baka was the bomb. This place is not all I wanted in a Filipino restaurant, but it’s so much better that those I have already visited. Courteous and efficient servers.

Foodtastic!!! Food choices are amazing and flavorful.

Definitely one of the nicest place I've visited. Great ambiance, quite a small place though but still, it feels like you're in a classy restaurant.
The prices are not too much, i would say reasonable for a place like Kuya J's.

On our experience, the staff has provided us an excellent service. Thumbs up!

A new food destination in this beautifull place. They were packed for an early dinner, owing its popularity to its strong presence in Cebu's food market offering local comfort food like crispy pata, Calamares, Pancit and soups like Sinigang and other delectable Filipino dishes. Unlimited rice serving too!

The food was good, affordable and served big portions of it.
The price of the individual dish was not that expensive as we say but not that cheap as well. We wen there Friday afternoon and we were just next to a family that was on the wait list. So first impression was good.

Service:
If you wanna try and eat here. Make sure that you're not that hungry. Because the problem is that if they are really busy, they tend to forget who went in first and who should they take orders first. I thought I was the only one who've noticed it but as I read the old reviews here, some of their waiters are just standing there and doing nothing. We really have to wait for a few minutes for them to look at us and wave at them and the food really comes late.

FOOD:
We had a lot of orders because you know, we ant to try as many dishes as we can. I can say is that their sinuglaw (Grilled pork steak and vinegar cooked raw fish) was the tasted that stand out and we did expect to be really good. We had Pochero, Lechon kawali and Pork ribs that are so so.. in taste. Careful with ordering their 109php worth of halo halo coz it is very huge and kinda sticky.

Cream soup was not out of the ordinary and a beef calderita that tasted above the ordinary.

Since it was a bad customer service so that's a deduction of a star and would have given four, The experience, the expectation versus reality was not balanced because because the horrible reality was heavier that why I rated it 3 stars.

I hope they can improve their service.
