So the star is because I wanted to watch football and drink a couple of beers, and this popped out like a sports bar.
I asked twice in the bar if they will show football and they said yes, afterwards they changed their mind and there were a lot of discussions in polish and they decided to show volleyball, and I felt some nationalistic aggression. It's definitely not an international place, which is ok, but the aggression towards international people is not ok and to break your promises is not ok

good beer and pleasant service, definitely recommend if you want to have a few beers in a good company and atmosphere
Randomly stopped in this place for a quick beer and a couple of vodkas… interesting discover! Good music, lovely service!
Nice drinks, good atmosphere and sports on tv. Prices are 3 vodka shots for £2 and 3 jägermeister for £3

Very good service by Alona! She was very kind with us and helped us to understand the menu (we don't speak Polish). Very good food, gluten free available. Very cozy place. We will be back.
They have set of the day (35zl) which includes: soup of the day, main dish with side, salad and compote (typical Polish drink made by fruit juice). Good price and quality!

I have been in Kraków for two years already and I am trying to explore different restaurants from time to time. This place is the middle of old town with great view over mesmerising church.
I truly enjoy the Polish cuisine and the idea that they had illustrations so you can imagine the dish.
The staff were professional and friendly specially the manager ( I think his. Name is Mariuz. He is polite and fluent in English.

Andre was an excellent waiter! Gave us a seat by the square to view. Great service & delicious food! Had potato pancakes & goulash & pork chop-all delicious!
If you want to eat like a local then this is the place. Exellent traditional food in traditional surroundings.
The place is beautiful! Really love the gołąbki (stuffed cabbage) with mushroom sauce. Pierogi was nice too.
For my taste the IPA was a little weird, and they stopped selling beer 30 minutes before closure.

The alcohol ratio for cocktails is pretty good. The taste of them is too.
The food is very good. My coworkers and I finished everything we ordered. Portion sizes are European vs oversized American proportions, which is great. It means you can enjoy all that you order and not be stuffed or have to box up a lot of leftovers.
Outdoor seating is great as is the case for most places on the square.
Only significant drawback (which isn't unique to Staropolska) is the number of tobacco smokers in the outdoor areas can influence the taste and flavor you experience.

Got this place recommended to us and was a little hard to find, but when we got there our waitress with colourful hair made us feel very welcome whilst being attentive and funny and told us her favourite food which was delicious (order the zurek) along with a refreshing litovel beer which paired nicely. Definitely visit!! Lots of herbs nicely seasoned it was DILL-icious 👌
Good for a quick bite. The food is ok, the service was very quick and friendly, the view to the market place is great.
We came here for Golabki. But the place had none when we arrived. We were suggested by the people at the shop to try Breaded Pork Chop, and we did. I found it to be very basic. This was served with young potatoes which was essentially just boiled potatoes. Basically, less of a polish experience than we expected. Food also average.
I went to this restaurant in 2016 when on holiday. And went again today 18/5/23 while on holiday again. And I must say I was never disappointed. It is a fantastic restaurant. Super delicious food, great value and the staff are awesome. The place has brilliant character. The food here is to die for. Highly recommended.
Very good option at the Main Square of Krakow. There are two menus, one Polish and one Italian. The grilled cheese is amazingly good: smoked, soft, and rich in flavour, but it could be warmer. The Carbonara is basic, but also delicious.
Food was good. We both had goulash, mine with dumplings and hers had potato pancakes. She loved both the dumplings & cakes and I liked the cakes better. My Goulash also had 4 dill pickles that we both loved so we shared. Good food and good location so I recommend this as a good place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Wir hatten ein Klasse IPA Bier probiert. Einfach nur köstlich. So was gutes hatten wir selten mal probiert. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Am Nachbartisch gab es kleinere Köstlichkeiten. Schade das wir nicht mehr Zeit hatten.
Das Lokal nebenan ist dagegen leider eine Touristenfalle.

Good Tatarek 7/10. Very good beer and cocktails. Excellent prices. Recommended
Delicious home made food. Very similar to polish bristo polish restaurants. Don't let the upstairs fool you, this place has large down stairs with multiple rooms and big bar. So upstairs may look empty, downstairs is booming with life. Highly recommend for food and drinks.

It was a very pleasant surprise!! The place is very cozy and warm welcoming!! The waiter who showed us the table was very kind and smiley!!! We ordered different plates to try. Food came really quick. Everything was really really tasty, great flavours and presentation. The portions are really big and everything were delicious!!!
Prices were normal for the location, it was not overpriced as i read afterwards in many reviews, and they were balanced well with the quality and quantity of the food!!!
We recommend it!!!
P.S they also have s very nice bar with experienced bartender!!!

Nice place with a hip vibe... when I was there they had a great dj playing some nice house... the food was good but for a brewpub they could use a more extensive beer list.
