Amazing castle that was beautifully restored after the destruction during the second World War. The rooms are beautifully decorated and show the multifaceted use of the castle over the decades. The audioguide gives you a lot of information about the different paintings and exhibits. However, the information is very much detailed without giving you the big picture first. Nonetheless the Royal castle is worth a visit, especially on rainy days. It makes sense to buy a ticket in advance since you will only be able to enter during a specific timeslot.
It’s selling timed ticket so it’s better to get the ticket in advance a day before during weekends. The castle was rebuilt just like most items we seen in Warsaw. Encouraging by how Polish people preserve their art and history while endanger by war.
Lovely place to get lost when is raining or snowing… on the ground floor you have a nice art collection where you can see couple of Rembrandt jobs… silver, jewellery, guns etc, the upper floor the rooms are so beautiful like the chapel, the king throne room, the conference room. Highly recommend to visit this place . There is a coffee area and restaurant if you are hungry, cloakroom is available. Toilets are available on the ground floor. Tickets cost £15 you can pay with card and cash. All is written in polish language, people don’t speak English.
Wonderful Poland's 🇵🇱 Royal Castle 🏰

I had an amazing time with my eye witness of the Royal Castle!

Very good location from each corner of the Warsaw City.

If you have interest in History, you may visit earlier time where you may read all the Footnotes of each room of the Castle.

Also it will be good to take someone who has interest in photography to help to take photos of you!!!

Have a great time!
The Royal Castle in Warsaw has a long and difficult history behind itself. Partly because of this history, it deserves special respect and closer look at its fate. The castle was built in the Baroque-Classicist style and currently serves as one of the most important representative buildings in our country. Although it looks very economical from the outside, inside the interiors are stunning, bursting with splendour. The castle rooms have been restored with great care and precision.
Pozostałości mostu, który prowadził do zamku Ossolińskiego. Urokliwe miejsce.
I must admit, the exterior of this place felt kinda underwhelming before i went in, but boy, was i wrong.

It is really beautiful and definitely worth the visit. In addition to a museums worth of art and artefacts, the state rooms were alone worth the visit. The whole place is meticulously maintained and taken care of. I would recommend not forgetting the audio guide because it provides lots of useful and interesting information about the place.

I really love this kind of stuff, and this place did not disappoint at all. Also, the ticket price of almost 6€ is almost nothing for the hour something i spent there.
Quite an impressive castle, in ruin, but well preserved. Many accesses to various areas. Audio guide available. Recommend to have a look if you're nearby.

Place is very nice for visit but definitely lacking more information about it
Zamek Tudorów w Polsce. Brzmi ciekawie. Tymczasem Tudorów to niewielka miejscowość koło Opatowa z ruinami zamku z XIV wieku. Ocena 3* wynika z braku zagospodarowania tego miejsca. Dojście nijak nie oznaczone i trudne. Same ruiny zarastają chaszczami. Po prostu szkoda.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Hidden gem, totally worth it visiting.
Amazing place to visit, it would be 5 stars if it had more information about the castles history in English. The opening times are really good usually museums close around 17.00 to 18.00 but this one is closes at 20.00. The visit took us a little over 2 hours There is lot to see and I would recommend visiting the castleruins
Best castle ruins I've visited in a long time, 5 marked trails to take you around the castle. Beautiful scenery and historic location is definitely my cup of tea!
Ostała się jeno i tylko wieża.....
Brak jakichkolwiek pozostałości po murach i innych budynkach.
Trudno wyobrazić sobie jak to miało kiedyś wyglądać.
Mimo to uważam, że warto pokonać zarośla i pokrzywy i spróbować podejść jak najbliżej.
Zawsze to Kawał historii.

Reszta pozostałości zamku to mało widoczne relikty.

Great little caste to walk around and have some souvenirs and nice coffee in the cafeteria. 13 zloty is the normal ticket for adults. Worth to be outside and have walk around the castle, nice place nothing extremely special worth to stop.

Absolutely spectacular and worth a visit. It's so grandiose and lavish. Built with no expenses spared, up to the highest standards to satisfy the taste of the most noble of Polish society.
Yes, today is all in ruin, just a skeleton of once majestic creation, but is still awe-inspiring, vast and nicely kept. The legend about a fish tank being placed instead of the ceiling above their studies shows you the scale of this castle! You can easily spend a good few hours here, with plenty of souvenir stalls just on the other side of the road.
Thera are 4 paths leading you throughout different levels, starting with the basement where the stables with marble trough used to be and be aware, you can choose a pathe requiring squatting quite low! Then ground level to higher floors offering breathtaking views. There's a café there an very decent toilets.
Do not hesitate and let your imagination run free!
Great place for families and all others who like to visit old castles. It is well preserved and from year to year more parts are restored. There is also a lot of space for picnic.
Szkoda, że tak niewiele pozostało po zamku. Byłam tam w lipcu 2012 roku.

Podróżując krajową 9 w kierunku Rzeszowa warto zjechać kilka niespełna 4 km w bok aby zostać zaskoczonym. W małej wiosce pośród pól stał kiedyś zamek należący do rodziny Ossolińskich.

Polecam jechać stąd do Klimontowa.
Mimo wszystko polecam jeszcze raz
