Great place to get most thing without going to the supermarket 👍
Plac na Prokocimiu to idealne miejsce dla mieszkańców pobliskich osiedli. Oferuje szeroki asortyment produktów dostosowanych do potrzeb lokalnej społeczności, z wyłączeniem wiejskich nabiałów i specjałów.

A small rather old-fashioned farmer's market but with a good amount of stalls selling a quirky range of things. That includes foods like meats & sausages, breads & cakes, plus fresh fruit & veg, and there is a regular medium sized supermarket next to the farmer's market with a decent selection of packaged goods too. It's nothing special but I enjoyed strolling about for half an hour. It has an authentic vibe.

This space is a market for fresh fruit and veggies during the week and on Sundays it turns into the best flea market in Krakow.

Do bring cash with you as very few sellers - both during the week and on Sundays - accept credit card payments.

Even if you are not looking to buy fresh fruit and veg or find unique memorabilia to bring back home while rummaging through the bric-a-brac on display, visiting the market is a unique experience, which is certainly worthwhile.

It is definitely worth stopping by when you are in town.

A local market selling fresh produce. I walked by on a Sunday morning and the market turned into a flea market.

All seekers of fresh and local vegetables, fruits, spices, dry fruits, planter pots , flowers must come here. Very good rate directly going to the farmers I believe.
There is a lovely bakery here too.

This place is good for fresh fruits and vegetables. Don't forget to take cash as shopekeers here won't accept card payments. There is an euro net atm on market entrance. Located near to galeria Kazimierz.
It's my local outdoor market. Many private sellers displaying everything from fruit to flowers, socks to celery, cheap Chinese junk to cheap Polish junk. Tools to toilet paper, meat to mustard and everything else under the sun. In the 90s, as the old Soviet Union was breaking up, Russian sellers infested Polish outdoor markets and if one discretely asked around, one could buy a used Russian T34 tank for the price of a cheap used car. Those were the days of the wild wild east.
Beautiful market with practically everything available.

I do not recommend

Good place to do your shopping. Lots of offer and fair prices. And don't forget you are supporting locals here with everything you buy. Most foods are own produce and they should be quite natural.

Downside is that the people often aren't speaking English. This might make it a bit harder to communicate but you'll be fine using your hands and a translator in case of misunderstandings. Enjoy your walk!

I got Cola here. A plant called cola that smells and tastes like cola. I always find something new (to me) in places like these. Wonderful!

PS I added a picture of a bag of grains which they sell for 1,5 PLN a kilo. That's less than half a dollar or euro a kilo. Impressive. Can't find anything near that price range in the west.
Not bad open place with farmers products
Cycle. Parking there is a disaster
