Probably the best slice of cake I have ever ever had. Like surprisingly good. Wow. Also the two owners of the place are really kind. Definitely go if you’re nearby.

Nu recomand! Am comandat un tort diplomat și am întrebat dacă se folosește frișcă naturală, mi s-a spus ca da,.80% naturala, cand de fapt este e frisca surogat, vedetala, pe baza de grasimi vegetale hidrogenate, gustul nu are nici o legatura cu frișca naturală.

The owner is very nice, some lovely conversation about her, the city, country and her business. (All in English).
And the baking was fantastic, definitely go.

Mi e greu sa cred ca un cofetar nu este capabil sa se incadreze in cerintele unui client care cere tort de 2,5 kg !!!
Nu stiu ce a pățit, dacă l a luat somnul când cântărea ingredientele dar am avut tort de aproape 3 kg in conditiile in care erau doar 10 persoane invitate !
Marjă de eroare ar fi de înțeles un 100-200 gr dar aproape jumătate de kg ????
De asemenea poza pe care am cerut o a acoperit doar partial tortul si nu pe tot ceea ce a stricat din bucuria copilului !!
Nu mai apelez la voi ca oricum sunt din Bucuresti dar in orice caz...să vă fie ruşine !!

We used to buy Cinnabons ( take out) since October 2023 at this place - and they have been our favorite and only place for Cinnabons in Bucharest. Variety of flavours, size of Cinnabons was perfect and the cream was delicious, however at about 1-2 months ago they started making them slightly smaller in size and increased a price with 2-3 lei. For instance Sneakers flavour became 23 lei instead of 21 lei. In December we were buying vanilla Cinnabon in a regular size for 18 lei. The small increase in price is okay ( as long as the size and quality remains same) since we understand there is inflation happening and etc. This all was still fine but it is important to note that there is less cream now and sometimes cinnabons are dryer and not as fresh as they used to be.

Despite all the factors, we were still in love with these desserts and were buying them at least twice per week.

Yesterday we craved for our fav Cinnabons again and my husband went to get them - to our surprise the size of cinnabon now is twice smaller than before and the price is now 18 lei compared to 23 lei that we were paying for the regular size before.

This is crazy and disrespectful towards your customers, especially regular and loyal ones, who come very often to buy Cinnabons from your place. If you decide to double decrease the size, then the price has to drop accordingly, otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. Or just bring back the normal size as it was before and we are happy to pay the previous price for the size and taste we were getting before.

Hope the owner/management reads this review and take care of this issue by reconsidering the quality/price ratio.

Awesome place! The cinnamon with pistachio was amazing and the carrot cake is kid friendly as it has only coconut sugar ❤️ definitely recommend 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Delicios, prompt, friendly, unic! Cam astea sunt primele lucruri care imi vin in minte cand vorbim despre Dulce Maria. Am dat comanda din scurt, dar am avut parte de mult mai mult decat mi-am dorit. Un tort extraordinar de bun, fin, proaspat, delicios si unic! Cat despre doamnele cu care am interactionat! Nu dau nota 10... dau nota 1000!!! Cu drag va recomand si revin la voi! Va multumesc din suflet pentru amabilitate si pentru tort! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

I tested cinnamon rolls, which the world praises and they do not praise them for nothing, the one with raspberries, literally makes your mouth water. I also tested the brownies, I particularly liked the one with gluten free...
I was pleasantly impressed by the products, the staff and the atmosphere, they really made my day.....but you don't have to take my word for it, go try it yourself :)

You might want to visit this place on an empty stomach. The cinnamon buns are massive and it's quite a challenge to eat one. Yet, they're absolutely delicious, so just save room for that!
And if I'm underestimating your ability to indulge in sweets, you can top that up with a banana or zucchini bread, or any other mouth-watering dessert.
Bonus: if having all that sugar would still not be enough for you, there's more: the staff.  Absolute sweethearts <3

The cinnamon rolls are SOOO GOOD. Maybe the cream is a bitntoo sweet, but it goes really well with the coffee there. The place is really nice and cozy, I recommend staying inside because outside the street is very busy with cars and noisy.

Such a lovely experience here! I had a three chocolate tart (local favourite) and it was delicious! But more-so, the couple that own this shop are so kind! I only met the man, but he was super welcoming and happy to give a lot of (excellent) recommendations for Bucharest. Definitely stop by if you are in the city!

Everything was sold out when I got to this hidden gem. I tried this cake and it was delicious and not too sweet. Definitely this portion is suitable for 2 people. The owner bakes everything in this tiny place :)

Came for the cinnamon rolls, tried the peanut butter & jam one but it was kind of dry. My friend had the tiramisu one which was softer, probably because it has more cream on top.
Taste of the desserts was nice but nothing unforgettable. The place is cute but not comfortable and very welcoming. :(

Overall, I do support their vision and it is nice to see this small business enjoying their succes! The other desserts looked very well as well. 🍰 Hope they will take off in the future and improve the cafe experience.

I always go here for the cinnamon rolls, to be honest, the best I've had. Also tried the creamy brownie, very rich and tasty. Though the place is pretty small so we ended up sitting outside, but it's still a nice place to go when it's warmer outside.
Personally I didn't enjoy the coffee here, but I still come back for the sweets :d

Nice place with good music. This one cake was with nuts and very sweet. Espresso is good and sour, which I don't usually drink, i prefer more bitter coffee, but still it was good. Definitely will come back on my next trip to Bucharest.

When I saw one of my favourite coffee places in Sofia, in Bucharest I had to come in. Tanks to the wonderful Mariana I got to enjoyed it just as much if not even more.

We think that it is overrated and absolutely disappointing. Bought 2 eclair however they were stale also one eclair was 20 lei.. it isn't worth buying.

We've been going to this coffee shop for years, every time we visit Romania. Great coffee and tea, and above all, excellent staff!

Nice service and good food! Their quiche its one of the best. Bagels with chicken also tasty. We had also 2 different types of fresh juice and they were sooo good! And they have wc!

Lovely little gem, full of fresh cakes and tarts made with natural ingredients. Owner was very kind and cakes were heavenly 😊

Pros:
- pleasant atmosphere (quite Starbucks like)
- staff speaks English
- close to the Parliament building

Cons:
- very poor value for money in terms of the food and drinks - we got coffee and sandwiches and we weren't very happy. The coffee was bland and the sandwiches... let's just say the standard gas station sandwiches are better. I don't mind paying a bit more considering the location and the vibe but it's the food and drinks I'm there for in the end and they weren't great.

Searching for a decent americano #1

While the place looks nice, and the staff is reasonable (but a bit clumsy with the service dynamic), I will judge them based on their americano coffee.

I asked for the brazilian beans, and while they had their advertised cocoa flavour, the americano as a drink was plagued by the classic sins: too much water, bitter taste, and the impression that you're drinking the water they used to wash the coffee machines.

Yes, it was a bit better than the americanos you can get at the coffee machines from the train station, for instance. If that's a praise.

It's good that most people pour sugar, milk and what not into their coffee, to hide the awful taste of the beans. I could've done the same, but since americanos can taste amazing by themselves when you do them properly, I shouldn't be forced to do so, just to make their product more drinkable.

I was looking for the French Revolution bakery and the owner of this French bakery was standing outside so I asked him for directions then I felt bad so I went in and bought a nuts tart and it was absolutely delicious and yummy. I did not try anything else.

Very good coffee, nice place, good services. They have multiple types of coffee that you can choose from.

Very nice little place. Off the beaten path a bit. Their food is tasty and fresh, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. The burgers I had here were better than many other burger places in Bucharest, at like half the cost. Their lemonade is also completely natural, made with fresh lemons and squeezed on the spot. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch or a quiet and intimate date.

Delicious home made tarts in all sizes and flavors. There's even a small seating area if you want to enjoy them on the spot. Owner was really nice. This place is truly a hidden gem of Bucharest.

I love this little coffee shop. For every coffee, you can choose if you want coffee from Brazil or Rwanda or other places.. there is not just one kind of espresso :-)

A pretty small but nice and warm place in the heart of the city. We haven't found too many options and maybe it's better to go there in the morning, but the tart/quiche we've had was good and the girl who served us, who is also one of the shop's owners, was super friendly and nice.
Totally worth to pay them a visit when you're around, and take some fresh homemade tarts.
