The service was very good, the people were very kind and professional and the food was delicious.
I had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Cluj for the first time, and it was a delightful surprise. As we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the chefs, a unique and pleasant experience. The restaurant is spacious, with multiple rooms, each featuring a handful of well-appointed tables. Our waiters, Cristi and Stefan, were remarkably professional, providing detailed explanations of the menu and showcasing an impressive knowledge of the cuisine.
The Ramen and sushi dishes we ordered were some of the best I've ever had. In summary, our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. While the prices may be on the higher side, the exceptional quality and flavors more than justified the cost.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Romania, the menu is very rich in varieties, but most of all, the serving is impeccable. This restaurant is also very intimate as it is not located in the most tourist crowded zone. Make sure to have a reservation, otherwise you can't expect to find a table. Unfiltered sake is a must have.
This sushi restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options that were beautifully presented. The attentive service, pleasant ambiance, and overall cleanliness of the establishment made for a memorable dining experience. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option, the quality more than justified the cost, and its convenient location was a bonus. I highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover.
Hi, the only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars is the very strange incident that happened to me there... and could have been worse if I'd actually been a vegan.
So, what happened was, that due to an early flight the next morning, I decided to order two (2) vegan roles - just in case. And I'm not vegan at all.
When I got to my hotel, I eagerly opened the bag and started eating. Immediately, I noticed there had been a mistake and one of the roles was with fish. I ate it because (A) I'm not actually vegan, and (B) I don't really have time to go and complain. And I cannot call them on the phone. Any way, should I've been an actual vegan, this of course would have been a disaster...
Any way it was very tasty and I hope all's well with my stomach😀

I went here with a family member on a Thursday evening. It wasn't very full but there were still a few people and it was nice and quite. I ordered some ramen that was ok, maybe a bit overboard with the salt and my family member ordered the duck breast that was cold when it arrived the table.
The service wasn't anything out of the ordinary, the waitresses didn't really bother asking if everything was to our liking.
Price wise for the market in cluj is medium high for what you get.
What I liked most from the whole experience were the drinks, they used a japanese vodka I really liked the cherry taste and the finishing touches of a little dehydrated lemon and a tiny rose bud on top making it look like a floating lotus leaf.
The service wasn't anything out of the ordinary, the waitresses didn't really bother asking if everything was to our liking.

Probably one of the best sushi locations in Cluj. Fresh food, good looking and incredible taste
Nice restaurant with wide variety and great value offers. Polite and informative staff. The offered foods are authentic, full of taste. Great value for affordable price.
It's a good place to have japanese food in Cluj-Napoca but not the best: the food had a flavour that was not so potent as it should be (the sushi was a bit bland, fish was not very fresh, but was not bad, it was cooked properly but you could taste the difference from a freshly cut fish, which can be served at another japanese restaurant in the city), the stuffing was in some types of maki and rolls flavourful, in others a bit mild for our palate. But the ramen was nicely done, the tea is good and the drinks are alright.

Excellent Japanese food. I strongly recommend Tokyo's ramen, as best ever ramen I ever tasted. They have miso ramen - my fav, but also soy ramen, spicy, salty. You can choose the type of meat for your ramen also. The portion is like 800 ml, enough for one or two persons... if you're not so hungry, you can ask them to split the soup in two separate portions. Sushi is also very good, but not really the best in town I'd say. You can also try Nigiri sake made in California, but best I ever tasted. Great experience if you want to try japanese food.
Great Service but they were missing most of the japanese Beer and most of the sake. The food was good.
Went in the restaurant and ordered, we were the only ones there. Drinks came fast but a sushi set took about 40 minutes to make. The restaurant was prioritising food delivery app orders. We saw a girl came to eat in the restaurant but had ordered take away. Clever girl.

I came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. The food we ordered was outstanding. The restaurant treated us to a cheesecake with a candle on top. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Both the service and the food exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the nice sushi rolls here. The presentation and plating was nice, with generous pickled ginger and seaweed. The rice was chewy and vinagerised correctly, while the tuna and salmon felt fresh and dense. Service, by a gentleman named Klaus, was prompt and friendly.
Excellent food and service! Prices are high, but you get what you pay for. The lunch menu has the best value options, including pescatarian and vegan ones. I highly recommend it and the restaurant as a whole!

VEGAN SUSHI, to start. Besides that, dessert sushi, cheap for sushi, solid music for ambiance and solid wifi. Table height relative to chair is a little higher than some might like. Bathrooms are amazing. I knocked a star for service since my Romanian is a little rusty if you're unlucky and get the 1/5 employee in that speaks essentially no English. Around 7 tables so space is limited. Overall highly recommended.
The sushi restaurant offered an exquisite dining experience with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful sushi rolls. The presentation was impeccable, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their signature desert. A delightful culinary journey overall! 🍣🍱

Right in the center. An unexpected small sushi place. Very nice options and I really liked the chef's specialty. Miso soup self bar is a very nice touch to the experience. Overall good interaction with people there.
Lovely service and atmosphere. The spicy seafood ramen wasn't very rich in flavour and the noodles were bland. The crispy kakiage wasn't oily at all which is a pleasant surprise. A nice place for a date night.

Has to be one of the best Ramen I ever had! Sushi was very fresh and delicious. The servers were extremely professional and nice. Only "drawback" is the price, but you get what you pay for! Definitely worth a visit!

The food is tasty and the ambiance is warm. The restaurant has an Asian design. The only thing i would change is the music which is not in the theme at all, it is just daily hits and not Japanesse music. I suggest You to make reservation if You go in the afternoon to be sure. As pricing, for 8 pieces of sushi with Wasabi and soy sauce I payed 50 lei.

Had some lunch here, started with a roll of sushi and after that got a katsudon.
The katsudon got mixed up with a chicken sushi roll at first but they didn't have any trouble swapping them again.
I appreciated the appetizers that were on the house, they were interesting.
The sushi was nice as well. The katsudon I would've preffered with a more runny egg. The breading was also letting loose a bit to easily in my opinion.
Went there again. The ramen is great and especially the pork has a great seared/smokey taste. It's too bad they aren't offering a pork broth option but the soy sauce one was good either way.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been. The food is absolutely delicious. The stuff is very friendly and it's a very nice vibe around. I really recommend this place for a quick and delicious bite
The place is in the city centre exactly on the other side of the church, very easy to get to, it has an amazing ambiance and great sushi. You will also get a great miso soup which is free. Best sushi I ate was the crispy one, I csnnot simply just love it. On the other hand the avocado sushi is also amazing as is very very creamy. I suggest you to check out all of the, the waiters are very nice will be happy to serve you.👍🏻
We ordered a large platter for two, for our lunch. Our expectations were set by the running sushi from Iulius mall. In previous years, when that place was not so expensive we used to eat sushi mostly there. Today we tried this one on a recommendation from a friend. We were a bit surprised by the taste of salmon, rice and avocado maki. The tempura seemed a bit stale. I wouldn’t want to sound too picky, but the meal we ordered couldn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of food quality. Sushi is a very honest type of food. If the ingredients are top quality the food would reflect that 100%. The platter looked impressive though. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, the order came on time. The place is nice and cool in the hot July days. The location is great if you are on foot or with a bike or motorcycle:)
We had a great dinner in this place; the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had no expectations on the sushi platter, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. Nobori has ranked very high in our go-to places, especially when in the mood for sushi.
The sushi plates here are very nicely mixed and fresh. The service was nice, the staff did not interrupted us almost at all but on the same time were available and ready to help when needed. The place is quite spacious and nicely decorated. On a Monday evening the place is moderately busy. The issue was with the parking. The restaurant doesn’t have a parking place, so plan accordingly.

One of the best sushi places in town. We ordered one of the big plateaus - perfect for connoisseurs, but also for sushi beginners, as you have so many different, various types so that you may pick your favorites for next orders. 70 pieces for 200 lei, that's a really good deal for 5 people.

This is my favourite place to order sushi! From my point if view it's the tastiest in Cluj and the ingredients are always fresh. I once agreed with my colleagues to order from another well known sushi place in town - it didn't even compare; I didn't even finish eating :(
