Very pleasant boule courts and bar with great service. Here you can enjoy the view of the canal while playing outside or enjoying a drink, but they also have inside courts. You can book a time slot on their website. As we arrived, a nice boule guide instructed us in how to play and we were served drinks on the court. An amazing way to spend an hour and a half in the sun!

One of the best (if not the best) outdoor venues in Gothenburg. Gorgeous location by the water and super friendly staff that really bring good vibes to a nice evening out with friends. Was not a big fan of Boule, but with a few drinks in the sun I think I'm converted.

Free admission, nice cafe! I liked the exhibitions because I was curious to get to know Stockholm better. The exhibitions were chronological, and some of them were based on particular people and their lives, which was insightful. There's a small library as well.
Free entrance.
Recommend if you're traveling. Great exhibition and stories. Stuff is nice.
Good overall experience!

The dinner was a three couse meal and a drink. The green tomato soup with feta cheese was good for a cold soup. The main dish with aubergine base was excellent. Milk based dessert was tasty too.Overall good satisfying vegetarian dinner option.

The game zone for bould was decent. Good job by the boule coach Lava.

Good place for team gathering.
A lovely little surprise. Not only is this museum free but it was also not super busy.

Exhibits are well designed with enough items to keep you interested but not too much to overwhelm.

Highly recommend if you're into history.
The food was very bad. 3 pieces of salad with minimal cheese and ham, the dressing was missing. One of the pizzas was not cooked and the dough raw. The Tour de framce had 1 piece of brie and 2 other pieces of cheese, and just 2 slices of bread, for an expensive price. Way too pricey for very poor food.
Great free museum with fine exhibition material which will give you a lot of background on the history. I spent more then 60minutes there and I am not a big museum person. But is was worth it.

I’m an avid photography enthusiast, and while this wasn’t my first museum visit, I left feeling quite disappointed.

The location is stunning, situated by the water, and the building itself is lovely. The ticket price, around 24 euros, is reasonable, and the staff are friendly.

However, the museum itself is rather small. The first exhibits weren’t even predominantly photographic. The second part focused on selfies, which had an interesting concept but lacked something exciting. The remaining exhibits were “passable” at best, with a strange collection of kaleidoscope photos and Vogue movies. One part was pretty great though with the work of Richard Renaldi. The restaurant on the top floor offers a beautiful view but is incredibly noisy. Overall, I was quite disappointed. The museum shop also left much to be desired
Lots of people. Lots to see. Free. Toilets. Lockers. Disabled friendly. Baby and child friendly. Art. Exhibitions. English. Swedish. Interactive. Fun. Dress up. Touch friendly. Games. Maps.

Lots of kids!! Food available.

No directions! Walking in the wrong order... needs signs! Too many people in your way.

Note: Don't use elevator unless you need it... you wait FOREVER and it's always full so it's better to just walk or run the 4 floors.

In short, it is overcharged from false advertising, really far away to reach, and quick to see everything.

Took 1 hour to walk from Slussen Station (I did get lost a bit, but that would have only added 5-10mins). Basically, it is full of roadworks with NO SIGNS, and all the gates for shortcuts are locked by codes. After walking 1 hour in minus degrees and snowfall, we finally reached the museum. We bought tickets and the staff overcharged us by 50 each! I asked about it, and she said the price varies. However, I literally checked before heading there. After she said that, I had checked the website again, and it was still the same price! I was not offered a refund or price correction... so we went in paying 100 more for only 2 floors of exhibitions and 1 hour walk is not worth it. The exhibitions change over time, and currently, it is a "good" one. There was only 1 room I thought was nice, and another room that was interesting. I tried to go through another door, but it turned out it was the end! The entire upstairs was closed off because they held an event and did not inform customers upon arrival, or provided discount, or informed on the website, so we weren't even allowed to see the scenery, eat, or drink. There was also another room that was locked, so you can only see through the window. We spent so long getting here (even checked the directions on the website, too), but only spent about 30 minutes to see the entire place, which included reading and scanning most of the QR codes, too. I was just really disappointed, and it was just worse because they overcharged everyone and false advertisment of prices. Inside the museum, there were only about 6 people, so I don't understand why they did this. There is nice scenery outside, but you can only see it if there is no construction. This was done in both Swedish and English.
Nice to play Boule with a beer. Service is really good. Supporting with all the rules, if you're not used to the game.

It is a fotograpy museum open till 23.00 at night. We visited the museum at night and had our dinner here. We enjoyed both the food and the exhibition. Very well done place. If you come during the day the restaurant has a beautiful sea view from its big windows.
It was a really pleasant experience to play and dine in here. We had a meal course and food was amazing. Place is very cozy but spacious. It is a really nice place to hangout in teams. Nice interior and atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The exhibitions were great and very on point. The selected photographers and their pieces were amazing, the amount of information given was perfect. People visiting can be a bit posh about clothing/looks and thus rude. The staff is not like that at all. Will return when visiting Stockholm again :)

I visited the Stockholm Museum on a Sunday. It was a free entry. (I believe it is free from Thursday to Sunday). The museum covers everything right from Stone Age to the modern era. Everything is maintained really well and all information is written both in English and Swedish. It has 4 floors (Ground plus 3 more) and starts in chronological order. I loved the museum and you need at-least 3 hours to be there.

+ Free Entry
+ Extremely informative
+ Very friendly Staff
- Missing steps to follow a path, else you move round in circles (or miss you places)

Lovely building but hard to get to because there are major roadworks at the main tube station and limited to no signage to guide you.
Other than that the exihibitions are interesting but nothing amazing either.
Restaurant is very nice with an overview on the bay and delicious food.

Interesting presentation of photography. The ground floor presentation and music was a great, perfect lighting for photography. I loved the classic photography on the higher levels. The cafeteria is very good. Nice desserts and good quality coffee.

Generally has some great exhibitions on. Current one being the 50 years of Hip Hop which has some great photos/images from start of the Hip Hop era all the way through.

Check out the cafe on top floor for lovely vista over waters and view of city.

Easiest to just walk there from subway.

Sweden 🇸🇪 Stockholm - attractions
Loved my quick visit inside Fotografiska earlier this month. They had a great collection of souvenirs, tokens, literature, and relevant art from the hip hop exhibit. There were many great tributes for the musical & cultural genre across the related eras.

Good arena however missing the diversity of non-beer drinks to be able to have drinks at the event. Bars that actually sell wine cannot give you a glass to enjoy it like the rest of attendees.

Ricky was awesome, as usual, however the Avicii arena isn’t very good for stand up, as you get far away from the artist, even when seated in front of the stage. You end up watching the tv screens when sitting on the sides tiers.
And it takes time to get out from the center. As all the sides have to get out before.
Really good museum to learn more about Stockholm’s history. Admission is free but they are closed on Mondays. Located in a very convenient location next to Slussen train station.

I thought the exhibition divides the time period well and there are English signs on most of the exhibits.

Unfortunately audio guide seems to be only in Swedish. My most favourite part is the exhibition around the building history of the City Hall. There are many old pictures with detailed explanation in English and Swedish. This was presented through a screen where you can take your time to view each image. As with all museums in Stockholm, portable chairs are available so you can take your time!

Lastly I also think they have the best gift shop out of all the museums. Many interesting post cards and merchandise

Beautiful museum with multiple different expositions. Not just a feast for your eyes but also a trigger for your mind. We really enjoyed it and spent hours inside. Top floor has a nice restaurant with extraordinary views over the river and Stockholm.
A thought provoking, immersive experience. Well presented throughout with some interesting exhibitions. Also very well located for excellent views across Stockholm with a fantastic restaurant bar on the top floor with excellent windows, although seats by the windows are reserved for guests buying meals.

I would consider this less a museum and more of a gallery, if you are looking for a museum of photography this is not the place, but rather a lovely art museum of photography.

Honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. I was expecting a little photography museum that we might kill an hour at, just to say we did something other than eat and drink our way through Europe. But this was more like an immersive gallery! The exhibitions were beautiful, at times moving and unsettling, but in the way art is meant to be. And the restaurant on the top floor had the BEST views of the Stockholm bay and some really excellent food. I loved that their bread was baked fresh every day with spent brewer's grain and that all the veggies were grown in a hydroponic garden in the basement, that you could even go take a look at. I don't know what was in their salad dressing but my husband and I could not stop eating it. They also had the best non-alcoholic wine I've ever had there. All in all, 12/10 experience here. Great spot to experience some culture and enjoy a wonderful meal with a stunning view.

Really great exhibitions. The souvenir store has amazing collection of books, stationery and board/card games.
The bathroom is clean and I admire that they put small hand-towels to replace paper towels to go more eco-friendly in the bathrooms.
We went there for 90 minutes of play with a dinner afterwards. Service was great, they took their time to explain the rules. We played outside next to the water which was cool. Just the food was a bit of a letdown. But that’s not why you go there.

Went there last year and caught the Terry O'Neill and Andy Warhol exhibits.

It is a museum for photo lovers and a must go if you like these types of exhibits.

Was in there for around 2 hours just to be able to see each and every picture and was worthwhile.

Half of the exhibitions were interesting and worth a visit, but it was way overpriced. Visit only if the money is a non issue, or if you absolutely love photography. Definitely not for a general public.
I celebrated my 40th birthday here. It turned out to be the best birthday I've celebrated.

Absolutely fantastic food, amazing staff (I wish I knew the name of the woman and man taking care of our party) and location. The location. Spectacular.

Go there. Enjoy the food, the drinks, the environment.

You will not regret it.

I can't wait to visit again.

Astonishing experience at Fotografiska.
We took the guided tour with Karim and it was worth every minute - he took us to the depth of each exhibition making our visit so much richer and different.

I think this is the most beautiful place near Stockholm. During the spring, you have to visit here.🌸
The plant store is a pleasure to visit. The selection is excellent. The café offers a fine selection of tasty vegetarian meals. It is cozy and warm. All in all it is a pleasant visit.
The food was delicious and the 7 course Christmas table was totally amazing. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere festive. The reason that I put 4 stars instead of 5 is that compared to other Christmas table of similar quality was a bit pricey, almost 900kr per person and the coffee was not included. I would recommend it for someone that would like to have a nice Christmas table for first time for sure.
For a start, it's FREE! This is a great option for visitors to Stockholm and residents, particularly in the current day and age of high costs of living.

Friendly staff at reception, who are very helpful, is a second positive.

The museum has lots on offer, in terms of history of the city over the past few hundred years. Very well illustrated with displays and not overwhelming with text. Perfect for the end of the day (bonus is that it's open till 8pm on a Tuesday).
One of the nicest Garden centers I've been to 😍 different varieties of indoor & outdoor plants! Healthy & Lush 👍🏼 plants haven🪴
Big and way too many plants to choose a few. So many options and it is like a patadise that you do not want to leave. Awesome experience and will be coming back for sure.
It's okay. Not like a must visit, visit it if have lost and stumbled on this building

It’s my first time at Emmer and let’s just say, the reputation is well deserved. Food is organic, well thought out and delicious. Beautiful designer interior, professional, polite and non intrusive staff. The view will also not disappoint. We will be back for more.
there wasn't much to see but what we saw was cool
One of the best atmosphere cafe I have ever been in Sweden
they have very creative cakes, clean bathrooms and you can buy the plants/ flowers too
also plenty of parking slots
This place not only have a shop but also a restaurant. You can buy simple desserts or eat a vegetarian buffet. The food is delicious and the staffs are nice and have a good customer service. As for the shop, it's huge, hence the large greenhouse and there are a lot of different types of plants and vegetables you can buy (depending on the season). There are some cats at the place, so if you're extremely allergic to cats I suggest you bring some antihistamines, but they are extremely tamed, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Very nice place. As a surprise the Viking ship was docked there when I was there
Very nice place, with several green houses and thousands of plants! If you need seeds, you can find them here, or all sort of pots and soil. Great place even for a walk! And if you go in the season, you can pick your own vegetables and flowers 😍
Beautiful with lots of places for photos
I have always loved this place to walk around especially in the cold wet nights. The place very close to the Central Station of Gothenburg and really attractive. You can walk along the corner and also see the historic war ships that Sweden has used. A must visit place indeed. Recommended!
Vey nice atmosphere and a wide selection of books from most cultures and languages

This is the small look-out at the 22nd floor of the red and white (Lego-building) seen near the Gothenburg Central station. There used to be a cafe in the old days, now its just a place where you can enjoy the view for a while. Entrance fee is about 40SEK so its not too bad.

Best place.
U hve the mariman spot where u cn walk around checking out beautiful old war ships for free.
However if u want to enter them u hve to pay for it.
Also u have nordstan the mall which is another superb place to shop.
U hve the tall building called lipstick its red and white in colour.
Also near lila bommen u hve a indian restraunt called indian bistro which serves good food.
Beautiful city
Went there for Julbord end of November for 695kr per person. The seating environment was nice and cozy. The food was good but lack of vegetarian choices compared to other Julbord of this price level. The waitress servicing our table was not particularly passionate but we did come across some other very nice staff.
A nice place to go and have fika or lunch at their cafe. The food is delicious. Be ready to stay in queues a lot because there are many who goes there during a weekend.

Plants are very good there but quite expensive. But it’s still a nice experience to go there and take a look on a big variety of plants they have and take a promenade there.

When it gets overcrowded it’s hard to find parking as well.
A great workplace where you can find a office in the middle of the city.
Also a great place for arranging a event and getting access to catering and a bar with a alcohol license.

Were here for an early summer birthday dinner, and boy were we in for a treat! The tartar and the nettle soup were just perfect and the veal with morels were like entering seventh heaven! The service was a bit lazy at times, and would it have been a bit more friendly environment I would have gladly given five stars! The restaurant is a bit off if you are without a car, but being a bit off the grid also adds to the experience!

The restaurant has a very special and cozy atmosphere, the food is great in Swedish standard. Some staffs are very friendly while one or two is a bit snob (Doesn't change my view though) it is a must to be here for "Julbord"
