Small airport, total 7 gates, board didn't mention which gate for the flight but 1 to 3 close each other. 4 to 7 another entrance (near duty free). You must listen to the announcement; less than 10 shops at the airport; food price is alike Ao Nang. No scale for Air Asia for hand carry luggage; Malaysian need to place your 4 fingers right then 4 fingers left during custom check, right thumb and left thumb as well; Please empty the drinking water. No foc water refill available. Zone 2 is priority lane for arrival. Taxi THB600 to Aonang (40 mins with around 25km) by cash. It's better to get hotel arrangement as the price is same; VAT refund is available on the same floor with cafe; most popular cafe arrival is ' The Coffee Club'. A lot of toilet; spacious place when waiting for the flight.

Normal shopping mall with overpriced branded goods making up most of the shops, or overpriced beauty salons and restaurants. Do not know how these places survive when you can get the same goods 100mts down the road for half the price and I am not talking knockoff copies. Most of these branded goods are made in Thailand or Vietnam and sold in street markets.

Staffs were very helpful. They took only 2000 BHAT for VISA on arrival. Within 20min we got our VOA and Immigration done.🤩
And shuttle from Airport to AaoNang cost only 150 B per Person

There is a train for the kids to ride on but they charge for it, also runs on the weekend and public holidays.

I walked into the ground floor and thought I was in food heaven! Then I found out the restaurants are located on the 5th floor.

I could stay her all day and eat.

Very clean and nice place with lots of shopping choices and places to eat

Interesting popup stores selling foods, beverages and clothes.

This shopping mall is near my old school in Nonthaburi. And this shopping mall has so many restaurants on the 6th floor. When I was in Matthayom 6, I always went to this shopping mall with my friends to play games and watch movies. Now I miss this mall and want to go back and visit it again.

It’s a huge place but you’ll never lost here. You’ll find different recreational stuffs to passing times. There are some electronic gadgets shops that will easily attract such geeks. There are many food shops are serving different delicious meals, snakes, beverages. Chocolate and sweet shops are remarkable. Waiting premises are fairly good. Clean toilets. Clean floor. Anyone can like this place easily.

Small airport but it's clean, divide to domestic and international airport. Please note when you come here.

Krabi airport - Ao Nang = 150bhat (do not pay more)

Take the big white CITY bus from the airport. You must buy the ticket at these counters in terminal 2 just after you enter the arrivals hall. Beware: They will try to sell you the overpriced minivan and taxi to Ao nang. It's a scam! Don't do it. Force them to sell you the correct 150bhat CITY BUS ticket. I had to tell them 4 times..... "150 bhat ticket to Ao Nang". They were really trying to steal our money. After you get the ticket, take it out to the waiting bus and walk by all the minivan scammers.

The city bus is bigger, safer, has more space, and the trip to Ao Nang is short anyway. Also, the city bus will also DROP YOU AT YOUR HOTEL, the same as a the taxi or minibus!! The city bus driver asks you where you are going when you get on the bus and he takes you directly there. During our trip to Ao Nang, there was road repairs and traffic as VERY slow. All traffic was stopped, including minivans. They have no advantage over the 150bhat city bus. The last city bus leaving Krabi Airpirt for Ao Nang is 6 or 7pm so plan accordingly.

Krabi airport - Koh Lanta = 200bhat (not 2,800bhat - also a scam!)

Only 200bhat per day if you rent a motorcycle. We rented a large scooter (125i Honda click) and drove down to Koh Lanta ourselves, with our own schedule, our own freedom and flexibility, and we saved money! It was fun and almost as fast, as we averaged 80-100khr.

If you are going to Ao nang and Koh Lanta, consider this option. We stayed 5 days in Ao Nang then we rode the motorbike to Koh Lanta and stayed 5 days there.

When we flew out, we drove back up from Koh Lanta and I dropped my partner off at the airport, then I returned the motorbike to Ao Nang and took a 150bhat shuttle back to the airport to reunite with my partner. We had small bags so we carried them easily on the motorbike. If you have large luggage, this motorbike / scooter option won't work.

The view is great, but the people is rude and the street is smelly

Who rates airports? I do since I spend so much time in them with layovers. I love Ao Nang Beach area but the airport is lacking food choices and every time I am there it does not seem to have enough seating.

It's a small airport. Domestic is at terminal 2 and international at terminal 1. They have fast food like subway in terminal 1. To get to the city Centre or your destination from here, just simply buy the bus ticket nearby arrival exit. You can choose various place to go. It's cheap compare to other option. They also drive you until your hotel.

Just a small airport, not so many restaurants for us to hang out while waiting for our flight and if there's shop, they didn't serve much halal food.

2018.09월. 근처에 있는 7-11편의점 앞에 정차하기도 합니다. 한동안 차를 세워두고 기사님이 내려서 '아오낭'이라고 큰소리로 외치면서 승객들을 모읍니다. 언능 달려가서 타시면 됩니다.
