St. Sergius of Radonezh Mission, is a community like no other. I am grateful to experience a community, who operate with the full presence of the Lord in both the clergy and the parishioners. Come here and you will see worship as it is meant to be done.
A peacefull place for woship

Beautiful church
It’s weird to see the car dealership next door park their luxury cars all over the sidewalk. Is the staff here taking bribe from this business or do they just don’t care? How much do I pay to park my car like that? $20?
Lovely environment. Diverse group of people; so nice to see so many young children. Casual, yet not casual. Music voices were so nice to hear. Homily was delivered in a fashion to be warm, welcoming, engaging and totally understandable. I felt like I was listening to an apostle sharing a message. I wish I lived locally.
One of the Romanian Orthodox churces in Chicago. The new one just opened doors and it is a little marvel. It is worth stopping by an light a candle.
Closer to God I see eternal life eyes closed feet hung father forgive us
I like this church and I am feeling good here. Please add only the working hours🙏. Is it opened to 12p.m only?

Our docent, Grace, gave us an hourlong tour of Holy Trinity and we were captivated from beginning to end. A beautiful piece of Chicago, and Orthodox history. Highly recommend visiting!
I loved the choir. Professional singers.
Best yearly Greek picnic with the best food.
My favorite!
A beautiful Russian Orthodox church in the middle of Ukrainian Village in Chicago, established 120 years ago. Very friendly parish and caring priest Father Alexander.
Wonderful tour (check website for schedule). This is a beautiful church! Highly recommended!
Not sure how one ranks a church... it's a good church. Neighborhood parking available if you get there early. Used to offer service in Russian and English, not sure if that's the case anymore.
This is a church that has a great pre-school located in a portion of the building. They also have some festivals throughout the year that offer food and fun for the entire family at those festivals Well done.
I recommend this church to everyone.
Simply Beautiful, Historic, Orthodox . Beautiful church full of Love faith and Memories
I just passed these amazing and exotic buildings, the first time I saw a Orthodox Church.Hoping I could get the chance to visit its inside.
Beautiful church. Very nice Icon screen!
This building was built in 1789.
You can appreciate the majestic and charm once you're coming by train from the city and also around Williamsbourg neighborhood.
Beautiful church, not just saying that because it's my church. They do so well on events they have and weddings as well.

13 августа здесь прошёл обряд Крещения 5-месячной девочки Зои Симбало. Спасибо Вам, Владыко Михаил! Сердце наполнилось светом и надеждой! Мы этот день не забудем никогда!
5 stars from Ana Gheorghiu with Love from Raziel Angel.
Great Greek festival! The food is fantastic! We go every year. It never disappoints!
Had a wonderful time at 2022 Greek Festival. Food was delicious and parish members/volunteers were friendly and helpful. Very expensive but trust it’s helps the church in their endeavors.
My uncle loved this church, which is why the lame, dry, professorial "eulogy" delivered here was so hard to stomach. The priest, such an expert in church doctrine but with no personal vonnection or references to the deceased, deserves ZERO stars.
Warm community graciously receiving all guests.
Also, beautiful traditional choral worship music.
Perfect place to be introduced to an authentic Eastern Orthodox atmosphere and lifestyle.
Fantastic church for Orthodox services with new, lovingly painted interior art as well as auxiliary volunteer education for kids. Not to mention the wonderful banquet hall and bar in the basement!
Another "gem" church here in Chicago.
This one in particular is attributed to the genius architect Louis Sullivan.
Smaller in stature, succinct in message, an edifice defined that does not need description. To the point. Modest. Importantly extant. Beautifully simple, luxuriously summed to balanced perfection. I like this building and art. I really hope this church remains important and preserved in Chicago for many more generations. My photos do not do this building justice. See for yourself.
My apologies for prior review they are from bad experience with church of similar name in my hometown. I had a very meaningful exchange with the father a few years ago that impacted my life in a great ways. It helped me make a very big decision. I am grateful for it. This is a very friendly and welcome place
A small but stunningly beautiful and very historic Orthodox.
I feel at home here, great services, very nice people
Щоб наша доля нас не цуралась, щоб краще в світі жилося
Amazing place to find your peace and enjoy a nice service...the interior is beautiful and they have under construction another chapel what is a true piece of art ...
Love this church! We got our wedding ceremony here. Amen 😎🙏🏻🙏🏻
Last time I was there a month ago and met Father Viktor in person. Today it says he passed away on March 14. So brave to stay in front line all this time and not to be scared to give us protection and help in that terrific time. Thank you, Father Viktor, for everything, and sleep well.
Thank God we have this lovely church in Los Angeles. Don’t have enough words to explain the atmosphere.. Absolutely Holy place to go.. I’m thankful for everyone who does service there. God have mercy on us......🙏🕊
Always great mass and a place like home!!
Truly church environment and piece in this place. I baptized my son here and this is the only place that didn’t force me to pay for a baptism or showed me a price list. I think there should be no price tag on religion especially if you want to become part of it. Thank you priest Petr for blessing and baptizing my son.
The ONLY official Romanian church in Chicago.
Благадарю Госпада за сьогоднішний день за службу
Gorgeous church....people were not very welcoming
Beautiful church. If you have never been to a Russian Orthodox church then you are missing something very special in life. Give it a visit and you will remember it forever.
I've been to so many orthodox churches. This is the only one that charges you for willow brunches on Palm Sunday
Summer festival is a Lambfest! Lamb served 6 or 7 ways. If you like lamb make sure to plan a trip!🐑
Went for the Greek Festival. Never disappoints even if the music can be a little loud in the tent. Great food, great gifts, great fun.
Loc binecuvântat al Americii de Nord !
Mitropolia ortodoxă română a celor două Americi !
A True Orthodox Church! A very very special one! I only wish there was more English language spoken. Please, we live in an English speaking country and there are Orthodox christians who do not speak or understand Russian or Slavonic. English is necessary for everyone to feel welcomed. After all, Orthodoxy is living faith not a tradition.
Refresh your spirit, just like the body needs food and maintenance so does your soul. Needs food to maintain balance between body and soul... it needs the Divine connection with the creator. Stop by when you can and refresh your spirit, pop Lupescu does an awesome job and you'll enjoy your stay while connecting your soul
Enjoy
This church was purchased the year I was born -- 1961. I therefore grew up in this church with my family and grandparents and have very fond memories. I do wish to return one day and visit.
A warm and welcoming church. Fr. John and the community are so kind. If you come for a Sunday service, join us in the house next door for refreshments and (hopefully) good conversation. Just sit at any table and people will welcome you 😊.
Didn't stay for the mass, but popped in because I heard the building was designed by Louis Sullivan, the famous architect who taught Frank Lloyd Wright. I was not at all disappointed. the building is absolutely beautiful and has a lovely feeling of peace and silence, which can be hard to find in busy Chicago.
They put on a wonderful festival with outstanding food and beer.
It was an amazing spiritual experience to celebrate Vespers at St. Vladimir's for the 100th celebration of the UOC of USA on the West Coast
i am not going to go there anymore what is orthodox church!?
A beautiful church with a wonderful priest and community. Like most Orthodox Churches, it feels like stepping into some other beautiful realm entirely... You'll forget you're in Chicago, and you may even mistake your surroundings for Paradise. Glory be to God! :)
Nice place. They have party room downstairs. New construction will be done soon for the main entrance, looks great.
Church is wonderful like home , priest Vasil is very friendly and kind, thank you so mush for this warm place
Wonderful church!! Amazing architecture by Louis Sullivan and a nice friendly parish. The services are beautiful as well as the interior of the cathedral with old Russian icons and paintings. They have a good a capella choir. Highly recommend to visit. All services are in English.
Warm and inspiring church, one of the largest churches in Brooklyn of Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia. I feel its consoling and soothing spirit every time i enter this church. Liturgies are happening every Saturday evenings at 6pm and Sunday mornings at 9:30am. My favorite is an evening Saturday prayer where the church is darkened and only the candle lights are visible. The all male chorus supporting liturgies is wonderful and is always pleasure to listen.

Lots of local residents come and attend services. There is a great dining room in the basement that serves dinner every Sunday with the Church's sisterhood offering great 3 course tasty meals, for a really small donation, and a family like atmosphere. On Saturday the school for kids offers classes in Law of God, Russian language, history and culture. Services and liturgies occur on weekdays as well. highly recommend!
We loved this place. You something spiritual once you walk in.
Love to be able to visit ortodox church in US... especially for Christmas
Ukrainia Orthodox Church is located Downtown Los Angeles, off 101 on Melrose. The church offers very warm friendly environment. The Priest is young, dynamic, with a great sense of humor, and speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Romanian. Church organizes a variety of Ukrainian cultural events.
Orthodox Churches aka gods house all are blessed and by god. However if there is no discipline and rules than forget! priest should have more discipline! They should be quiet and keep silence . After the liturgy when you go for a launch it's bazaar omg😱 I could not stand even one minute there. Ppl are nice but too loud.

St. Sergius English-Language Mission is a beautiful jewel of a chapel visually, but also a rare ruby spiritually. Father Zosimas has been our parish priest for several years now: a wonderful spiritual father, whom my family depends on, as do the many other families and individuals of this intimate parish. God grant it many years!
Amazing place. Spiritual, and light and I can feel the presence of Lord there. Lord is my refuge and whom shall I fear? Go there and save your soul, feel better, listen to English liturgy at 8am on Sundays or Russian/Slavonic at 10am on Sundays. God bless and Lord have mercy on all of us.
Nowhere a better place to receive love, peace, health, knowledge, wealth. Ask and you shall receive.
