We can't say enough about Montessori Academy. Our son has grown and developed in so many ways since starting there. The staff and teachers are very understanding, compassionate, and have helped build confidence in our son. He loves going to school everyday! As a former educator (and mom), I would highly recommend Montessori Academy.

My son has been attending since July of 2024 and we have absolutely loved it. His teachers have been kind and friendly, the principal is fantastic, and I know he’s well taken care of, happy, and is learning so much. I’m so grateful to all the staff for the work they put in to provide excellent care and education for these kiddos
The “Behavior Analysts” are subpar here! Wouldn’t allow them to work with my dog, let alone my child!

My daughter started coming here when she was 18 months and she loves it! They have such a great program that is very stimulating and so helpful in kids growth. They work on speech and other developmental milestones and do lots of crafts. She was shy and nervous for the first week or so since this was her first daycare experience, but she quickly transitioned into running into class to hug her teacher or play with friends. She is excited every day to get dropped off. The staff is all amazing and so caring towards the kids. I feel confident every day that I’m leaving my daughter with professionals that take such care in their work.
Thank you for all you do for our community. You are appreciated and vital to those in need and their families.
Professional, caring, and great staff. Highly recommended.

This school has been a great place for my twins ever since we have been enrolled. Their staff is kind and my kids seem to genuinely enjoy and interact with not only the teachers, but the entire administrative team. My kids seem to always come home mentally stimulated and happy. The new principal Michelle is always willing to listen and provide feedback. Highly recommend!
This past Spring, my husband and I decided to transition our daughter from an in-home provider (a SAHM who was watching our daughter along with her two older children) into a daycare/preschool setting. We wanted to give our daughter the opportunity to learn to socialize with children who are in the same developmental stage as her, as well as the opportunity to focus on appropriate learning milestones. We researched, toured, and spoke with most of the local daycares/preschools in our area, and none of them felt quite right until we stumbled onto the Montessori Academy. From the moment we walked into the school, we knew we had found our school. The facility is light and bright, extremely clean, and smells wonderful. In addition, the new school principal, Michelle, was a breath of fresh air! We showed up unannounced to inquire about the school, and she gave us a tour on the spot. I really appreciated this because I felt like the teachers and staff weren’t expecting a tour, so we really got to see what a “normal” day looks like. All the staff were so welcoming, and all the kids were smiling and really seemed to be enjoying themselves.

During the tour we discussed the curriculum, available extracurricular activities, classroom ratios, staff requirements, safety and security protocols, etc. I really liked Michelle’s hands-on approach with the staff and her obvious passion to provide her students with the best possible education through continued staff training and development.

We’ve been enrolled at Montessori Academy for about 4 months now, and we are loving it! The teachers, front desk staff, and administration are truly top notch. The staff regularly communicates with parents, and the administration is very approachable to hearing parents’ concerns or answering questions. In fact, they seek feedback about how the school can continue to improve and actually implement the feedback they receive!

Shortly after starting school, our daughter had a small adjustment period (totally expected). During this time, everyone was extremely patient, understanding, kind, and caring with her. Fast forward a few weeks and she is now all smiles and giggles when she sees her teachers in the morning! Not a week goes by that her teachers are not working to help her achieve a new skill or giving us reports about something new she is consistently achieving. Oh, and did I mention that she comes home in the best of moods?! She is truly flourishing, and we are so very happy! Knowing our little one is enjoying her school thanks to a great staff, makes going to work every day a little bit easier on this mama and daddy!

If you’re looking for more than just a daycare (i.e., babysitters), this is your school.
Horrible daycare. My child started pinching us. The staff is nosey. Several times, I picked up my child with a dirty diaper and dirty clothes. They don’t use bibs. For newborns, they use sink water, not bottled water... The front desk lady had a attitude everytime i asked her to feed my child breakfast.. definitely wouldn't recommend.. also my kids got ate up legs and arms ..

Excellent place for kids. Montessori in general, and this school specifically are a great place for kids to get started on I dependent learning.

It's done wonders for our kids and created strong, curious learners. It's something that will serve them for a long time.

Amazing venue! So cool and soooooooo many venues on the floor. Roll out bouncy mat was fun for kiddos
Party room was upstairs with 360 degree view of kiddos playing over 4 ft rails. Jessica was so fun and super helpful decorating and manage kid time , when to eat Pizza (actually way better than Chunky Cheese ever was!) and when to break the party room down. Jessica was so amazing! Oh, and you can run a tab for either beer or coffee drinks. sweet!!! Great way to meet school mate's parent's, leading to babysitting for an evening Mom's Night Out, and a ROPES Course. Amazing!!!!

Gives melatonin to kids to make them sleep, was being investigated by police and other entities. Wouldn’t take your kids anywhere near this place!! Only reviews are from the people who work there. The mom got her license taken away so the daughter Makiah is now the director and the mom still works there! The whole family is employed and are smoking vapes and whatever else our back. They even lived in a camper out back for a while! One of the brothers smashed a table upside down when frustrated with kids, I almost didn’t believe half the stories my kids came home with until I found out other kids have the same stories!!! Scary place!
My daughter lost a tooth on account of negligence. A 10 year kicked her in the mouth and knocked several tooth loose and one out. She was screaming for minutes before I was told what happened. I was given two stories and my oldest was groomed by a boy that should have been aged out. A director told me this wasn’t a baby sitter and when I said my kids are leaving she said no keep them for the summer ( just to continue to get a check). My kids rather go and it’s drama.

Absolutely filthy inside. Kids used wipes after and it was like they played in the dirt outside. No thank you! Clean your mats please before kids get sick. Also if your going to direct a group you need someone to show them how to use the equipment.
Such a bummer. The lady that checked us through was super pleasant.

Definitely would recommend bringing your kids here there teacher is such a good human to my kids she treats them like her own and my kids absolutely adore her!!!
My daughter loves going, and I have been nervous about in home daycare again. But melody has changed my view, since she takes such good care of my daughter.
Didn't properly care for child
This is the best daycare I have taken my daughter to. Melody has taken such great care of my daughter and she loves going to daycare now. I highly recommend Butterfly Wings if you are looking for a daycare for your kiddo!
I would have given them a zero star if there was an option. The place was a mess as if it hadn't been cleaned for days. The owner as she says has employed her mom in law to get a permit to take care of 7-12 kids, but when I reached she was the only one there while her mom in law was running errands and picking McDonald's for lunch.
She even said X amount as a placeholder, but kept my entire deposit towards it and that was the week my child did not even go and I was not told that I'll be paying for that. Very unprofessional
We had a great experience at Innovations in Learning with Dr. Huls. She was personable and connected well with our son. We have recommended her services to other families we know.
I had a wonderful experience at innovations in Learning and with Dr Huls. The staff was very professional and genuinely cared about my son. The process for a Neurobehavioral Evaluation was simple and thorough and they explained every step along the way. They always were prompt with their responses.

We love taking our son here. He loves the big train set and the kitchen play area. It is always clean and things are well maintained. They are also always adding new fun things to keep it fresh.
Highly unethical and damaging assessment report done by psychologist Huls. Failed to get a complete background for diagnosis. I contacted the facility immediately upon reading the report, it took nearly a month for somebody from the office to get back to me. I had to jump through hoops to get this report changed, by the time it happened the damage was already done due to failure to act immediately.

A very laid back environment with plenty of room for your kids to run free! The playground has a lot different activities to keep the kids entertained for hours. I have to say, I’m really impressed with this place. Even the food/snacks, and drinks. I ordered a chai tea (which was delicious) and half cheese flatbread and it was the perfect little snack for my 2 boys and I. There’s couches and tables with chairs for parents to sit at. It’s very clean, organized, and great staff!

Kick Boxing is great class with great people! The workouts are intense though everyone works at their own level. The instructors make it fun and keep the students motivated. This is my eighth year at Bodies in Motion and my overall fitness level is the best it has ever been. Thanks Rachel, Duncan and Rhea!

I am beyond grateful for the infant caregivers at Bodies In Motion. They are so kind and caring of my four month old. I have a variable work schedule and they are always patient and willing to accommodate. My child is happy and well cared for, it is such a stress relief for me. The facility is clean, fun, and every infant had their own space. It’s an all around an excellent place. I’m never leaving! :)

My kids and I love this place! It’s magical and very comfortable. The staff is amazing. Great deli/café/bar. So many fun things to do :) It truly has made our summer so awesome! Summer camp has been a blast for my son & he’s looking forward to starting preschool there with his sister. I feel very grateful to have discovered Bodies in Motion. Keep up the great work team!
Innovations in Learning has improved the quality of not only my son’s life, but our entire family. My son is able to communicate his need through PECS thanks to the wonderful line therapists. Everyone is wonderful and kind and very educational and informative! Corinne, Pilar, Morgan and Alyssa go above and beyond for my son everyday. I would be lost without Innovations in Learning!!!!
My son attends the adult day program and loves it there. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. They do an excellent job of teaching and maintaining skills in a fun, caring environment.

We have had a wonderful experience with our now 2 year old daughter. What a blessing to send her to this excellent staff and facility each day! Of all the things we'll miss when we move, this tops the list!
God bless you all for all efforts to our kids

Was not impressed with the "behind the scenes" regarding parents and teachers. this place is Cold and has a depressing atmosphere with no fun pictures of art of any kind allowed on the walls to be displayed. There is zero color of any kind. Everything down to the toys are the same wood color..Kids pretty much have nothing but puzzles to play with all day. This place sets kids up to fail when they go to a real school. Outrageously over priced for a daycare trying to act like a "fancy private school".
My child was previously at another daycare and we moved him to KKLA. Since moving him he’s done SO MUCH BETTER! He loves his new school and friends. The staff and teachers are amazing and the overall curriculum is exactly what he needs to prepare for kindergarten. I gave 5 stars bc when you see the absolute joy in your child’s eyes when you wake them up for school it feels like a WIN for mom. I made the best choice in moving him to KKLA.
Great for a number of reasons. Predictable, reliable, accessible and knowledge. Marye runs a tight ahip. She's been doing it for a few years now. Our son started at 6 or 7 month and graduated to go on to school (kindergarten) prepared prepared and ready. The basics are solid.
Great teachers, very caring and trustworthy. I know my children are in good hands here.
Tonya)infant teacher are neglegant, irresponsible, unprofessional and unreliable. Tonya text &talk on her cell phones while on duty, they are unsanitary; no use of gloves while preparing children's meals and bottles, there's cross contamination with bedding in infant classroom and storing toys and play chairs in cribs. Toya infants teacher mishandles the children by wearing jewlery and long manicured press-on nails. My daughter got hurt at this daycare after only being enrolled for two months and no incident report was taken by her teacher(Tonya). She didn’t even get first aid kit to get up the blood on my daughter’s face. She not only got one deep scratch on her face she have another one on the other side of her face but it is mild.I have came in the room a couple of times to pick my daughter up and I have noticed my daughter was Excessive crying. She was writing on a document and had her phone right by her on the table she might even been texting on it.
Please I beg you do not take your infant hear.My daughter is 5 months and she born 27 weeks and 4 days she is corrected 3 months and she only on 3 months stage .(Tonya)Only there to collected a check not there for the passion of the job.You will know that once you meet her. This not the end of my complaints I will be taking it further to insure this staff get Train properly.Sense I been bringing my daughter hear All she have showed me is attitude even in the meet with the director. They don’t even deserve a one star.
Wish I could give 0 stars. This place is horrible! Please don't make the same mistake I did and take your kid here. My son is still not recovered from the bug bites and scratches all over him. Went during lunch to check on him and he had a bib that wasn't his, the back of it was covered in black mold.

My daughter attended the Walter Reed CDC full time from when she was 8 weeks to 3 years old. We were SO sad when we had to PCS (but such is life in the military!) The wait list is a year long and it's worth it. She had wonderful, caring teachers in the infant (0-12 mos), pre-toddler (12-24 mos), and toddler (24-36 mos) rooms. There is a big emphasis on learning, not only things like the alphabet but also how to be a good person (getting along with our "friends", using nice words, etc) and basic skills like serving yourself food, potty training, etc. It is a military daycare, so expect them to be strict in adhering to policy - no glass bottles or cloth diapers. I came in everyday at lunch for a year to breastfeed, and teachers were consistently interacting with the kids. The building (CDC 2) is also beautiful, with tons of light and large windows. We didn't realize how lucky we were until we left!
Seems like a doctors note is required for everything in this place. Even for butt cream. Forget about home cooked meals for you child, they make it EXTREMELY difficult to feed them anything you cook at home. And the wait list is half a year long.
A place to leave your little one where you feel they will take care of them. Thanks American Day School for your lovely work.
My kids love this CDC. But we are hourly and in order to get time you have to wake up at midnight a month in advance. Then you only have a 50% chance of actually booking the time. It all depends on if you can click faster than the other parent desperate to get their child in. I missed it last night and was up for another hour laying in bed fuming at myself for not getting the time.

...7 months later, We gave up. I spent about 6 weeks waking up at midnight twice a week to book with no success. Finding childcare sucks...
