We fishing with Capt Dan and had an awesome time. The bite was slower than the past few days according to him but he kept making moves and we chipped away at them. Got all the specs we wanted (two being 25” and 24”), a few flounder and a few redfish to cap off the slam. Kept a few for dinner and released the rest. He took the time to explain everything and cut up with us. Overall great day on the water. Will definitely book with Capt Dan again.
Great morning of fishing with Captain Dan. He was super helpful and fun to fish with. Took us to a great spot where we caught some keeper redfish, trout, and flounder. You need look him up for your next guided trip when in the MXB/PSJ area.
Captain Dan was awesome as always! He put us on some good quality fish and took really good care of us. Captain Dan always provides an awesome experience. If you are in the Cape San Blas area and are looking to do a guided trip. Perfect Cast Charters is the way to go!
Captain Lee was great. We went out on a hot day with not the best conditions and were still able to hook onto some redfish, trout, shark, and a few catfish. My 7 year old had a blast and is still talking about it. I highly recommend Lee to anyone especially with kiddos.
We had the best time! Captain Dan made these first timers with saltwater fishing super successful. Highly recommend... you won't be disappointed. I caught reds, trout, flounder and a lady fish along with some annoying catfish! My husband's highlight was a baby shark! We hope to be on the water with Captain Dan again next summer!

Can’t recommend Captain Dan enough. Me and my family had a blast. He was very polite and professional. He takes great care of his boat and equipment. Even with the bite being slow, Captain Dan worked hard to get us on fish. The moment the bite would slow down, he would take us to a new spot or have us use different techniques. If you are looking for a fishing charter in the Port St Joe area this is the one.
Perfect cast charters was a truly awesome experience! Captain Dan got me and my son on giant redfish within the first 15 minutes on the water. Caught many other species as well! I Highly recommend Captain Dan and perfect cast charters!
What a great day of fishing! We could not have asked for a better trip! Went out with my dad and two kids. Captain Dan put us on the fish all day long and took us to multiple places to fish. He was great with the kids, answered all of their questions, and was incredibly patient. This was the first outing like this for my kids and they are both ready to go again! Thanks for a great day and great memories!

Had a great fishing experience with captain pete.He changed our fishing trip up from what I had planned on so we would have a great fishing trip . Had 2 14 yr boys with me he was very patient with all of us and we learned alot and caught some really nice fish
Captain Charles took us out 6/3/2024. We had zero experience fishing and he had us reeling them in. We will definitely be booking with him in the future.
Captain Dan was professional, fun and just an all around good time! He is great around kids and was awesome in helping my father in law, who can’t get around on his feet too well. We caught some monster Speckled Trout and Flounder. We will be back to get the Redfish that got away! Highly recommend Captain Dan!
Unbelievable day on the water with captian Danny. It was slim pickings for all anglers this day but Capt Danny found the resources to make it special for my Son, Daughter, and future Son in law. You're a special man Captian. Thanks for being so patient. We'll be back next year. I can't wait!!!

Captain Lee was awesome. He knew exactly where the fish were and how to catch them. We booked a four hour morning trip with him, me and my three boys had a blast. He’s kid friendly and really patient with inexperienced fishers. The damage for the day was 13 red fish(there’s a limit so we only kept four) 9 trout, 1 shark, a few catfish and the rest trash fish. Everyone caught fish.
I’d definitely recommend and will be using him again next year.

Captain Pete was a great charter. He is very experienced and got us on the fish. Had a blast and highly recommend him for your fishing trip.

Got to spend a half a day with shallow seas charters, captain Lee. He was very professional and beyond nice. He took the time to show the correct way to handle the tackle and how to work the bait from maximum results. We were able to catch our limit on trout. He Was very informative and when his way to make us feel comfortable. Completion of our trip he cleaned and filled our kitchen so we could take it home and cook it. Nothing like fresh Gulf seafood. I highly recommend him and Equipment for a fun day in the bay

If you want to catch fish I wouldn’t look any further. Lee is the best in the business and knows how to catch them even when they ain’t biting. It’s a good feeling when 20 mins into your trip 3 other guides call Lee and ask him where we’re catching them at! He was great with my 6 and 8 year old, very patient and friendly. The amount of knowledge he has on the water is second to none. Definitely recommend and will definitely be booking again. Thanks Captain Lee!
Captain Lee does an amazing job! We have chartered many boats across FL and the Bahamas and Captain Lee is hands down the best. We have used his charter service multiple times and every time he has put us on the fish and ensured that we had a great time. Lee does a great job with kids, he makes sure that they catch fish and have a blast! We would recommend Shallow Seas Charters to anyone visiting the Mexico Beach or Port Saint Joe area. We have him book for 4 days in May if tells you anything about the quality of Captain Lee is!
we were just out on the Shinnecock Star yesterday 10/28, fishing for Black Fish. Denna the first mate was amazing! i never saw a more accommodating mate on a party boat. She made everyone feel like they were the only one on the boat fishing. we would definitely go out again with them. Fred and Laura
Capt. Lee was fantastic. He kept our hooks baited and let us straight to the fish. He was fun to talk to had great stories and very personable. I would recommend going with anyone else. The four is probably caught 40 fish and came home with our limit. Couldn’t have asked for any better off trip.
We had an awesome time with Captain Dan! He was on on time and communicated well. He knew the best spots to fish and had all of the equipment for each situation. We came home with about 60 pounds of edible fish. 10/10 recommend.
Captain Pete is the best. Our family had used him twice and had very successful fishing trips both time. He is a great person and a great Captain. 5 of us caught several fish and enjoyed his company. Looking forward to the next time. I recommend Captain Pete.
Captain Pete is the best! If you want to catch fish this is the guy to use. Puts you on the fish, and will have you pulling up 2 at a time. Also word of advice tip your captains and crew, because they do all the work to keeping your rod baited and in the water.

His growing up on the Bay gives him a unique perspective of the environment. He has seen it change through the seasons . He respects the resource and has a super knowledge of what makes fish tick .
I'd put my money on him to find fish any month of the year.

If you want to limit out on Red Snapper, call Captain Dan at Panhandle Adventures. One of the best fishing trips I’ve ever done. We were immediately on fish until the Dolphins and Sharks ruined the spot but he had backups. It was truly once in a lifetime experience. Very professional and easy to get along with, great experience Captain Dan! I’ll be back for sure.

Two years in a row my son and I and went fishing with Kevin. He’s been absolutely awesome! Between helping my boy cast a spinning real (last year lol) to just educating me on the waters of St. Joseph’s Bay, it was absolutely excellent. I will continue to come back to PSJ and as long as he’s available I will always book Kevin for a trip. 10/10 I will recommend anyone go fishing with him.
Went out with Captain Dan with my stepson and 2 buddies. What a trip!!! Capt Dan is very professional and will def put you on the fish. We had a blast and will definitely book with him again. I can’t recommend him enough to take you out! Best trip I’ve ever had!

This guy is real! He’s a native of the the area. He’s passionate about fishing and seeing you catch fish. 30 minutes into the trip it was ugly rain and lightning. We came back to the dock I knew it was a wash out but about 1 hour later he contacted me and we went back out and had a BLAST. I’ll be trying to get a trip with him every time I’m here. Went for my first time out on the ocean with Shinnecock Star. Captain John did an amazing job bringing us out and putting us on the fish. He was very personable and gave great tips. First Mate Deena made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy during their trip. She was very friendly, attentive, and outgoing. Even for a beginner like me, she was very helpful and didn’t make me feel embarrassed for asking a question. Both Captain John and First Mate Deena made sure that everyone had a great experience, no matter the conditions. I will definitely be booking with Shinnecock Star again, I had an amazing experience.
If you want to catch fish, Capt. Kevin is your guy. A native of Cape San Blas/St Joe, he knows where and when to catch the fish of your choice. One of the best guides I've ever used. His smallish but fast boat allows him to travel through the flats with ease, helped us hook over the limit sea trout and redfish. Our charter was during the last week of May 2023, in the afternoon. Dodged some weather but always found a hot spot. No nonsense, just expert fishing. Will DEFINITELY book with him next time we're here! Thanks Kevin for a great day!
Amazing morning spent with Captain Dan. We don’t fish so he had his work cut out for him. He outdid himself along with the dolphins and private beaches!!! My husband, daughter and I went out for a half day trip. Captain Pete was wonderful. Really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. He took us to several spots. We caught a variety of fish.Captain Pete is very knowledgeable about fishing in the local waters. It was a perfect day on the water. We will be booking with Bounty Bay again soon.
I have been fishing the Shinnecock Star for a very long time and I am never dissappointed with how hard Captain John works to find fish and how hard his First Mate Deena works to keep everyone on the boat happy and taken care of. The Star is a Long Island legend and a must for anyone looking for a great fishing experience on the east end. Tight lines!!!

We booked a morning trip with Capt. Kevin while we were on vacation to get my dad out on the water and hopefully catch something. Capt. Kevin was on time and ready to go first thing. We stepped onto the boat and hit the ground running to our first spot. The first cast of the day brought in a trout and the fish just kept coming! We had some pretty green anglers in our party, but Capt. Kevin have them a quick lesson on casting and was very patient with them. He literally had my dad and girlfriend catching fish in minutes. Each of them caught keeper trout and my Dad landed a big Redfish over limit size, but the experience he had fighting the fish was well worth it. We had plenty of fish to take home after he filleted it up for us between the keeper Redfish and all the Trout. I couldn't recommend Port St. Joe Charters and Capt. Kevin enough to someone looking for a great day getting hooked up!!
Had a great time out on the water with Captain Danny. Tore up the redfish and trout for a half day in the morning. Caught redfish so big it wouldn't fit in the net. Will be down next year.
Had a blast creating memories with my boys. Captain Pete put us right on a school of Spanish mackerel that were very fun for the boys to reel in 1, 2, 4 at a time! Thanks for the experience Captain Pete, we will be back!
My wife and I went fishing with Kenny of Dog House charters today , I read some of the reviews this morning and got alittle nervous. After a day with Kenny I can say he was great. Kind, knowledgeable, hardworking and just an all around good guide. I have been guiding in northern Minnesota for 27 years so I know alittle about the profession ! I highly recommend Kenny for your day of fishing. We ended our day with a great catch of fish!
Could not ask for a better trip. Captain Kenny goes above and beyond for his customers and he is the only captain I’ll ever use. Incredible experience and a mess load of fish! We had the best trip
I have been on Doghouse Charters 1 many times, boat has broke down many times while out and Captain Kenny never offered a refund or partial refund for hours of lost fishing time. One time, the deck hand got overheated and captain Kenny would not turn back to the dock so we said take his first mate back to the dock and hospital, he did and did NOT give any refund for all out last fishing hours. Captain Kenny is all about the $ money $ does not care about the paying customer. Do not use him!
Captain Pete is awesome! We booked him for a full day off shore fishing trip. When we arrived he let us know that he wasn’t sure about going out off shore due to the wind, but that ultimately it was up to us. We followed his advice and switched to an inshore trip and had an absolute blast. He is very personable and it’s like fishing with an old friend. Every place we went we were getting bites as soon as our bait hit the water. We will absolutely be booking with him again.
The captain has the personality of a rattle snake! We were fishing for black fish. No big deal that it was a slow day. These things happen. There were over 20 fisherman on the boat. The captain starts fishing at 2:00pm which was the time to be heading back to the dock. He is the only one fishing!! He refused to head back! This captain needs to take a course in customer satisfaction. Personally, I am never fishing with him again!!
Been out with Captain Kenny several times. His current boat did not have any mechanical issues, unlike the old boat. If a fishing hole is producing real good, we move on much too quickly.
Until you talk to another charter, you don’t know how or what to compare. One example, The hooks we were using appear to be too small, causing one to miss many fish.

If the seas are a bit rough the ride is very rough and beats the fun out of you. The Capt gets very upset if your sinker hits the boat. Seems to drift off holes if you are bringing in too many keepers.
Treats people like a tourist, just out for the money and not to produce the catch. If you catch too many fish he drifts off to a different fishing hole. He uses too small of hook and lower quality that results in fewer catches of large fish. Has no loyalty to long term customers.

Capt. Kenny is THE BEST! He always puts us on the fish and we ALWAYS have a GREAT time! We have been to Port St. Joe many times over the last thirty years and we won't go out with anyone, but Capt. Kenny at Doghouse Charters. Do yourself a favor and select the best!!!

We had such a fun day on the water, without a doubt it was the best fishing trip we have been on. We saw turtles, rays and even a shark!!!

We had a fantastic 5 hour trip. Daniel knew it was our teens first time ocean fishing and made sure they had a great first experience. My youngest caught a huge Trigger Fish. The 5 of us had fantastic day on the water. We made a haul of 28 Vermillion Snapper and several very large trigger fish. Great experience.
My kids and I had the best time exploring with Captain Dan today! He made sure the kids got to see and do as much as we could fit in during our charter. We got to catch some fish, see sea turtles, explore a beautiful island full of seashells and birds, and we even got to hang out with a school of dolphins! He made me feel at ease and was great with the kids, too. We had a great time!

Awesome experience! Capt. Jacob Tankersley was just great and we caught fish every time we dropped our lines. Deck assistant, Destin, was also amazing. He had the fish on board and hooks reloaded so fast we could barely keep up. The Lady J was fast, clean with plenty of room for my fam of 5. We had so much fun and I can't wait to book another off shore charter with them.
Spent 5 hours fluke fishing with no keepers. Around 12pm Captain John brought us to the "big pond" as he called it. All 8 of us were catching Ling fish. Deana the only crew member was fabulous. Very informative, helpful and a pleasure to be around. Captain John was miserable. No communication, no help what's so ever. He drove the boat and was fishing. Without Deana the day would've been horrible. I can only hope Deana got the entire 20% tip added to the charter price.

Not a good day. Only 4 sand sharks were caught n 1 throw back cod fish. Even though I I just caught one of the 4 sand shark. I had a good time got all my boys together got the picture I wanted. The Captain did his best to put us under fish and the mate did a great job.
Great fishing. Captain John does a fantastic job of getting you on the fish. I like this boat better than the traditional party boats. It’s smaller more intimate setting. The first make Deena is the best I have ever seen. I go back frequently. See you there!
Did a dads and grads fishing trip on the Shinnecock Star for my son as a combined graduation and birthday present. Captain John was up front and communicative throughout the process and Deena was incredible! Great folks all around. Everyone enjoyed the trip and the fishing was very productive! Would do it again!

Took my kids and wife out on the Southern Lady Sunday with Captain Brad and top notch mate Chuckie.These 2 are a class act.They showed us to a fantastic day on the water and treated us like family.And i half to say,Ive been on a lot of boats and politeness and professionalism goes much further than just catching fish.Thanks to the crew and the very nice lady who booked our trip for us.My family had a blast and just wanted to say thanks again and keep up the great work.We will be back and tell our friends about you guys.

You will not be disappointed with your time on the "Lady J". Captain Tankersly is a professional and will work extremely hard to provide you with lasting memoires. We had 7 kids (7-13 yrs. old) , 5 adults and spent over 6 hours on the water, the kids had a blast and when it was time to go back to port, they wanted to stay out longer. We caught every type of fish we could keep and Destin the first mate was a great teacher for the kids and very patient. What a great day on the water out of Port St. Joe - next trip is the overnight and yes, the kids are coming
out with us.
