Such an amazing performance. We couldn’t ask for a better performance and our family wasn’t celebrating any specific celebration just the beautiful moment of life with our grandmother on a normal afternoon. These gentlemen made a surprise such a rememberable moment for not only our grandmother but also our family. This group was FANTASTIC! They were way better than expected, communicated well. Followed directions to our place perfectly, no hassle. Had a great time celebrating a birthday and anniversary because of them!
I am very lucky to have found this amazing space! The rooms are lovely and comforting and the terrific Yahama pianos are kept in excellent condition. The vibe is artistic and safe and the community is warm and inviting. The Music Room founder Alaina Ferris is the utmost professional. She runs The Music Room with great care and attends to any issues you may have very quickly. This is the perfect place if you want to practice or teach. Truly a gem.

My son has been taking piano lesson here for about 2 years. He was with ChiWen for the fist year and due to schedule changes he is now with Zoe. They are both awesome! They are professional and are very patient with him. The front desk person Mathias is super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend the Harrison School of Music!

Tony did a great job and even welcomed me to intern and collaborate a network with the same goals… A1 business that really wants everyone to be their best version of themself… this is a place to elevate yourself no matter where you’re at in your journey… I can attest that your verbal goals will be exceeded here when you can afford to give the time here… it’s been a while since I have pulled up but I was reminiscing and reminded that this is a safe haven for creativity. You will only be elevated to new levels and it feels surreal riding the elevator to the studio right next to Paycor and GABP, the real deal in a place where real deals have been scarce or non existent even… The owner, Tony, really means well and has amazing expertise… wouldn’t be surprised if BL becomes the safe haven for Cincinnati’s future in music… big plus side for me personally is that the owner is even noticed as provider of the internship that allowed me to graduate from NKU, a local up and coming university. Just show a little bit of passion and here is some fuel for your fire, looking forward to a reunion that can match or exceed the energy here and not to mention the night club downstairs is ready for us to turn it up right quick… don’t be scared to turn it up one time

When I was looking for a studio to mix/master my first LP, I chose BlackLite. It was the best decision. I’ve released four more LP/EPs with Tony. Each time his work ethic, technical expertise, and fundamental understanding of music made the sessions productive, creative, and, most importantly, fun. Plus, he’s an audio-editing wizard. Samantha handles marketing and logistics, and she makes booking and paying for studio time a breeze. I look forward to working with the BlackLite team on future projects.
Best studio in Cincinnati and only getting better. A good 60% of the recordings I leave the studio with make it to a publisher or A&R desk. My songs are good but the reason for this is Tony's great engineer & production skills. He is quick and professional. Never wastes my time. Again, the best studio in Cincinnati and with the 2024 expansion, it will only get better.
I've been working with Tony at Blacklite Productions for over a year now, and it has been nothing but a great experience every time. Tony's musical expertise and care really shows with each track we put out and it only gets better each time. Do not hesitate to book this studio and follow your dreams. Mariachi Suroeste performed at my wedding December 2022 and we were blown away by their energy and talent. We recently performed at my mothers 50th birthday party and they blew everyone away again. We can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and the energy they brought with them. We are happily waiting for another excuse to have Mariachi Suroeste perform again!
Mariachi Suroeste played at my wedding during cocktail hour and were absolutely incredible. From my first text to ask if they were available to when they finished their performance, everything was so seamless! They exceeded any and all expectations. They even sang some English songs including “my girl”. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff always ready to help. I love getting phone calls periodically to see how my lessons are going. It really shows they care about their students. I also love the fact that they offer makeup lessons. The teachers are all so talented and are eager to teach you in any style. I have been taking guitar lessons here for the last 5 months and I have already learned so much. I highly recommend.

I was so lucky to find The Music Room! I was in search of a place to rent on a regular weekly basis that had some sound proofing so I could rehearse songs and record auditions. I only needed a few hours a week and I happened upon Spoke The Hub with The Music Room and immediately inquired. Alaina was so wonderful with the rental process and any necessary communication required throughout my time at the studio. She was very helpful in also breaking down what time slots suited my needs and how best to book the space. The rooms are perfectly equipped, basement-style with pianos, sound absorbing panels, music stand, etc. They are small but exactly what I needed to sing and make significant noise in. I would absolutely recommend The Music Room for anyone looking for a safe, affordable, and quiet space to teach private/small group music lessons or any self practice.

Man - I have to say. These guys know how to rock out! Singers were fantastic, and don’t get me started on the guitarist! Him and I were jamming out song after song! I got to experience this band at my sister’s wedding in Montana, and I can tell you that they left a lasting impression on my whole family!
I rented space here as a gift for my partner, and we both loved the Music Room at Spoke the Hub! Alaina is so warm and responsive, and has created a wonderful nook for artists to use high-quality pianos in a welcoming environment.
all 3 of my grandchildren take lessons at Harrison School of music and they all love it. Chiwen is a great teacher for my granddaughter, Michael is wonderful with my other granddaughter, and my grandson just got a new teacher that he loves. It's a happy and stress-free environment.
Great practice rooms with convenient access! I used Studio B for solo practice. The room is beautiful and soundproofed well, and the piano was a joy to play. Alaina really puts thought and care into the space.
The Ft. Myers Symphonic Mastersingers are our most phenomenal local choir who supports the community of Ft. Myers in many ways including through the Palms Youth Chorale and the Intermezzo Choir (an initiative to keep music in the lives of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease and dementia). The Ft. Myers Mastersingers will be celebrating their 20 year anniversary at their annual Gala this Nov. 20th, 2021. You are invited!!
I used Rock Creek Strings for my wedding a few weeks ago and I could not be happier with their performance. I still have people telling me how amazing they were! Their repertoire is extensive, whatever you need they can play it! I totally recommend them for anything you need.

We just had a string trio from Rock Creek Strings play at the ceremony and cocktail hour for our daughter’s wedding. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT AND EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! Our guests could not stop raving about the musicians, and they delighted all the children (and many 20 somethings) by playing “Baby Shark.” The facility’s event coordinator was so impressed she asked for their card to refer customers. We were so thrilled with the quality of the music, the friendliness of the musicians, and the ease of booking and communications that we are booking them for another daughter’s wedding next summer. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at my sister's birthday party this week, and he blew me away with his violin skills. One cannot deny his talent, especially his capability to play a requested song, no matter the genre. You definitely helped to make my trip from New York worthwhile.

The Music Room provides thoughtful and elegant rehearsal space for musicians. Safe, quiet, and beautiful rooms available for long term rental. I had a great experience practicing at the Music Room and would absolutely recommend it to any musicians looking for a peaceful and private practice space.
I rented space in The Music Room to both teach voice and piano lessons and compose music. I found the space ideal for both, as the piano is excellent quality, and the space is comfortable and has a pleasing interior design. There is a waiting room for student's parents to sit outside of the room. The location is convenient in Park Slope, with lots of restaurants around. The price is very affordable, and Alaina is so easy to work with: communicative, professional, and friendly.
Having Rock Creek Strings play for our Washington, DC wedding was a great choice. Jeff was super responsive via email and phone, he really tried to understand our goals for the day and played the perfect set of songs. Huge thank you to Jeff (violin) and Fred (cello) for making our wedding so special. The music really made the day festive and fun! We look forward to using their services again in the future.
I recently recorded the audio for my book with Tony at Blacklight. The studio was clean and comfortable (and purple, my favorite color). The experience was easy and smooth. My daughter and I attended a family friendly outdoor event in downtown Twin Falls featuring The Famous Undercover Band. If you're looking for an OUTSTANDING band that plays all types of music, this is your band. It was an AWESOME night! The band members were very outgoing and great performers. The singers interacted with the crowd and kept the crowd pumped up throughout their show! I highly recommend this band for any event.
