The Point on Main Street

This place just sucked. Waitress wasn’t very friendly, took our orders in a random order instead of going around the table, so she didn’t take my order, would disappear for long moments of time. You have to pay $20 to start a tab, and the way they set things up is just so weird and confusing. The food was incredibly forgettable, flavorless burger, soggy fries, overpriced, long wait times even with nobody there. Go somewhere else

The blues jam on Wednesday nights is one of the best scenes for live music in Columbus. They get great musicians and the house band is excellent. The guy who runs it is also the guitarist/singer of the house band and he's also excellent. This is one of my favorite places to see live music. The crowds are good with mixed age groups and I've always felt safe. It's also a big place so there's lots of room. I have a buddy who visits from out of town once in a while for work and he likes going here whenever he visits on a Wednesday.

The food was below average. Fresh cut fries would have been good if they weren't laying in a pool of grease when we receive them. They were also almost room temperature or below. I received the fries with a chicken salad sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich was boasted about by the waitress. The sandwich was not anything to write home about. Asked for mayonnaise and it took them three attempts to finally bring out margarine. Live music was supposed to start at 6:30 and did not start until after 7:00.

$50 got us 2 Corona extras, chicken salad sandwich with fries, chicken wrap with fries, fried pickles, and a diet coke.

They did have lots of TVs for sports about 6 dart boards and tables, high top, and bar seating area. If you'd like to go for drinks and to watch sports this place would be the

Nice place. Went to see a band, for the size of the space, the music was uncomfortably loud. I had to leave when my ear facing the speaker was hurting. The food was ok. Service was good. I would love to watch the band again, but will not be able to sit any closer than the bar. My ear is still bothering me the next day.

Large variety of actual food, not just "bar" food. Food came quicker than expected. 4.5 stars, only because condiment's missing. Fish wrap didn't have tarter sauce like menu said, but was otherwise very well cooked and put together; came with generous portion of fries. Pretzel bites were perfect! Also ordered bologna sandwich that was very plain, could have used cheese? They did provide mayo on the side after we asked. Seemed like staff was having a hard time keeping up with full glasses; however, there was a very large group of folks in the dining room, reunion or something. There was live entertainment that kept patrons engaged. Overall, nice place, will return.
