Chandler, AZ, location. All staff members were attentive, kind, and patient. Under 3 years old are free, but the activities are for about 4 years old and older. You get two tokens per person to make/label/wrap your personalized crayon, or buy a dough packet from the dispenser. The activities are half sit-down and color, draw, or make and half interactive (design your own clothes, print photograph). If you plan to go often, it’s worth buying the annual pass. Good indoor activity for a rainy day. Gift shop has cool products. Crayons and markers are priced higher than a typical retail store, but that was to be e texted. No outside food/drinks are permitted, and there’s is expensive.
A great park to bring the kids. One way in and out so if you stay by the door kids can't escape. Cool learning things at a kids learning level. Weekends are crowded but ample parking. Staff was friendly and the place was clean.
Best Science and Exploration place we have ever been. My 7yo loved it and said it was her favorite placer ever. It's free. They receive donations. It was crowded, but we did not feel it. It is also inside the Sugar Sand Park, so you have more things to do like a big playground and a carousel. Highly recommend it 👍 🙌🙌
One of the best climbing structures, three stories high.Really quite spectacular the whole children's area. And the science museum full of activity. It includes a traditional merry-go-round.
Took my 3 year old niece here for the first time today. Yes my niece had a great time, but that was because they had the playground area. I could have gone to Chuckee Cheese for that. After reading all the reviews from several months ago the place still needs some upgrading. TORN PLAY AREA, USE OF DUCK TAPE, NOT ENOUGH STAFF OR ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE AND CERTAIN SECTIONS WERE CLOSED.
Very fun place to take the kids with more than enough to keep them occupied for at least 2 hours. There are 4 floors, with one being the roof with musical instruments. On a nice day, the rooftop is a great place to be. To get from floor to floor, you can take an elevator or take steps and let them burn more energy. The type things for my kids was the be hive they had through the window, the slide, and the musical instrument's.
All in all, for the price that you are paying, you are getting a great hands-on way for your kids to spend their time.

Its nice for kinds under 8 probably. Is not that big and very crowded. It took a long time to get to do any activities, the kids got bored so we left. May come in a non-holday for better activities
Took my daughter to Muse for her birthday Saturday. We checked in with the friendliest lady you'd ever want to meet. We were 14th in line to get in and play. You have a thing they text you on your phone that counts down. This was helpful as my toddlers wanted in desperately. It occupied them for a bit until they got bored with it. It took an hour to get in and it was trying with the kids. Once inside my daughters had a blast. There is so much to do and experience. A space shuttle, sandbox, 3D printer, zip tie walk through thing, legos big and small, play kitchen and market, art area, wind tube thing, car track, interactive stuff, huge light brite room, construction area, dolls, stuffed animals, slides, musical instruments, and tons of outside stuff and playgrounds. It was to cold for outside stuff but in the summer it'll be awesome. Looking forward to the duck pond trail. It's really a great place for kids. I gave five stars because of how much my kids enjoyed it and that's priceless. I did however have a few concerns. That many kids in one space is concerning because of flu, covid, strep, RSV and just plain colds. We were there a long time and I didn't see anyone wiping down toys or surfaces. They did have hand sanitizer stations which I used a number of times. As a parent it's just a concern I had. I know the logistics are tough but cleaning is essential. That being said my kids were beyond happy. Twelve dollars to get in is very reasonable in todays market. If you have young kids with a ton of energy this is the place. I highly recommend a visit to Muse. Bring some patience though because there will be a wait and toddlers are everywhere. Enjoy and good luck.
Every time I bring my children here to spend a day, they have a BLAST!! There's so much to get into and so much to learn. I really like that they change every now and then. 10/10

Great museum with lots of well presented exhibits and very knowledgeable volunteer staff. Interactive exhibits if you have kids which is nice. Reasonably priced gift shop is also there.
I am so glad we decided to go. My special needs son loved it here! Especially the sensory room. All the staff was amazing and very friendly. We can't wait to come back.
I love Crayola for my family. We are local in Bloomington. The annual passes are such a great deal. I really appreciate the indoor playground. Edinborough is nice, but it is expensive for family. The zoo just doesn’t have good indoor play options. I like that you can do both quiet art activities and wild play activities at the same place. We go at least once a week - especially in winter. During the week it is not busy at all.
This is a must go if you have children or grandchildren! So much to see and do. The staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met. We spent hours there and the kids had a ball. So many good things to say I can’t pick one thing that was the best. Maybe the play scape?
Discovery Cube Children's Museum is an absolutely amazing place for kids of all ages! It offers a complete immersion into learning with engaging and educational activities. Recently attended their Pumpkin Palooza party, and the sense of delight is off the charts! The atmosphere of fun and learning is unparalleled. Highly recommend to families for both entertainment and educating children. It's a unique experience that will be remembered for years to come!

This is a really cool children's museum with SO much to do! There are a ton of different activities for kids and it can keep them busy for hours!
This place is the very definition of rip off. After paying $70 for admission and entering (2 adults one child, since the other under 3 not included) you have to then pay individually for just about every little thing you do inside. They nickel and dime everywhere and anywhere from being insanely understaffed (staff is rude and act annoyed with you) to many things being broken/out of service. It’s also way overcrowded and ridiculously long lines for every type of activity. Young kids aren’t the patient type. Why is there popcorn and candy in each section? 2 out of the 4 ski ball machines were broken and both myself and another mom lost money on them. Staff was very reticent to refund us and eventually put on signs that the machines were out of order. You “win” tickets similar to a Chuck E Cheese however there are very limited selections of “prizes” and most cost hundreds upon hundreds of tickets (21 tickets got my child a tiny box of pencils and blank paper. Just don’t bother giving tickets). The cafe also had a super long line and they were out of almost everything. I paid almost $60 ($57.20 to be exact) for two orders of frozen nuggets with fries and two cheeseburgers with fries. It was all inedible. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars vs one is due to the playground on the 3rd floor. Save your money and go just about anywhere else.
This place is awesome. Whenever we gat a chance I bring my daughter. We always have a great time. The science emporium is a lot of fun.
Our family Loves the Maine Discovery Museum!! We brought our 5year old granddaughter Saturday, She had a Great Time!! It had been a little while since our last visit and we were pleased to see the new exhibits!! Tomorrow is our 3year old granddaughters turn and I invited a friend and her 3yr. old to join us! We were impressed as usual Saturday with how clean and inviting the whole facility was! Thank You for keeping the Children’s Museum a Great Place for Fun and Imagination!!!

fun experience for kids of all ages, although the younger kids will have more of a blast. the place is always clean, and there are several staff members around every room to help you if you need anything. normally doesn’t get too busy, and is a fun way to kill time.

Very nice place for kids to spend indoor activities. They have four levels of Crayola activities, and on the 2nd floor, there was a fun snow globe where one kids can go inside and throw snow. The downside is when we went during winter break, and everything had a long line and overcrowded.

Amazing!! The most versatile and well rounded attraction at the mall of America. There is something for EVERYONE to do there. I enjoyed myself just as much, if not more, than my kids. Definitely worth the money.
Visited KID Museum with my son and daughter, and it was an absolute blast! The hands-on experience provided an engaging environment for them to explore and create amazing artworks. The staff’s enthusiasm and support were truly commendable, making the visit even more enjoyable. My children not only had a great time but also learned a lot in the process. KID Museum is a fantastic place for kids to unleash their creativity while having a fun and educational experience. Highly recommend it for a memorable family outing!
All of the staff members were amazing! They were helpful with answering questions and were great with my children. They have different rooms to create items with different materials. Some items the kids get to create and bring home. I will be going back again!

Me and my 2 year old had a great time. We are not from maine and were just visiting and it turned out to be a great time. We spend most of the day there. There are 3 floors with different activities, clean restrooms, and staff was helpful.
We decided to take our daughters (2.5 years old & 1 year old) to the KidZone Museum due to the rainy weather that was predicted to last all day.
Both of our girls had such a blast!!! The facility smelled clean & well taken care of + had dedicated areas for age groups & a puppet show for the children while we were there.
We were visiting the area from Southern California and would highly recommend any parents wanting to stop by! It’s well worth it!!

The building is little old but there are a lot of science activities for kids. Usually there are great view over the city, but the day we went a little foggy. A great place to spending a day with kids. Parking is on the site.

We went on Veterans Day and there was a huge crowd. An absolutely perfect kids for a full day of fun. We started late and couldn't utilize the whole day, but it's definitely worth spending the whole day if you are going for the first time. They also give you tokens to buy stuffs like clays, personalized crayons and much more. Kids also loved the area where their creations could be transformed into puzzles. Long story short, If you have kids then you shouldn't miss this place.

As parents, are we always looking for safe, creative, and stimulating ways to engage our kids! You know, get them off the screen and couch! I learned about the KID museum through an email blast and decided to check it out. Our son loved it. The space has variety of learning corners. The staff are patient and friendly. Now, instead of inviting folks to meet up for a playdate at the Park, I ask them to checkout the kid museum! Variety, they say, is the spice of life! I will encourage the team to simplify messaging to help us know the different programs available to kids. And please keep up the good work!

I was surprised that even our twelve year old enjoyed this place. It may not be a very large children’s museum, but every nook and cranny is filled with various games and activities. I liked that there are a few make-believe areas; doctor, astronaut, farmers market and builder areas. This is a pre-schoolers dream . Our eight year old daughter enjoyed building a giant wall out of giant pieces of wood, nuts and bolts. There are also lots of building/craft areas.
We spent a couple hours at the place and there were still plenty of exhibits the kids had not yet played with left to discover.

On the other side of the parking lot is a large pond/lake full of geese that would be fun to feed.

A crayon lovers dream, the gift shop offers coloring book, merchandise, and of course lots and lots of crayons. Prices were high with the build your own box being very expensive with few box options. Otherwise fun to look around and experience the encompassing smell of crayons.

The Science Explorium inside Sugar Sand Park was a great activity to take the kids to on a hot summer day. It's indoors, air-conditioned, fun for pre-teens, educational, and best of all, FREE. There is a donation box at the entrance that is truly worthy of a few dollars, including from those who love bargains, like me. There are two main rooms inside that are the highlight with kids. The displays are fun, play-as-you-learn activities that keep the kids engaged for an hour or more. The kids couldn't get enough of the activity where scarves are transported through tubes through suction. The tubes are similar to what I have at home for my dryer vent exhaust. The place did get crowded as the afternoon wore on and more schools in the area were dismissed. Still, even with many kids in the limited space at the end of the afternoon, they all had a great time.
YOU HAVE TO COME HERE for the night view of Bay Bridge and surrounding areas, spectacular!!!

A great place to take your younger kids to play any season. Love that the space is indoors especially when it’s cold out and there aren’t many places to take young kids. $10 per person, adult and kids. Under 1 is free.
My wife and I visited with our kids (5 and 2) and my sister and brother-in-law. The kids loved it. There are so many creative, hands-on activities for all abilities. There are also play structures for big and little kids, which was great to get out some energy. The adults had a good time too - we especially enjoyed making our own custom crayon labels and spin art. We bought a combo pass with the aquarium which made tickets for each under $20. Well worth the cost for a nice family time during a road trip.
Pretty compact yet informative Museum. Staff were helpful and gave a good starter narrative. We enjoyed going through the exhibits with some interactive components.

We LOVED the Kidmuseum. I recommend this for ages 5-12. They had really great stations. Our favorites were the textile station, where kids learned to sew on buttons, and the wood shop area, where they worked on screwing screws to a board and attaching rubber bands to make various patterns. We also loved the robot cars and fans with tubes attached.
Staff was very helpful and attentive. Parking was easy in the parking garage and free on Sundays.
My only notes are that id love to hear some music when you enter and maybe more stations for the scratch robots.
Everyone seemed really happy and the kids were really enjoying themselves.

Volunteers were helpful, enjoyed this. It is hard to find, had to ask someone in the courthouse for help and they had forgotten to bring in the closed sign.
Had a great time taking our daughter here. We will definitely be back when she's a little bit older so she can enjoy it more!

We were on vacation in Gatlinburg. Im so glad we found this place and made the extra drive. My boys ages 11 and 1 absolutely loved it here! It was a smaller play center but still packed with so many different educational and fun activities. The facility is clean. I often saw the staff smiling at the kids. It was a great experience.
Perfect for my four year old, but not enough to do for my eight or thirteen year old. They did find some things interesting but it’s geared towards a bit of a younger crowd. It was a good way to spend some time leaning on a rainy day though. Don’t forget to use your science museum reciprocity benefits here! We got in for free using our home museum membership.
Perfect activity for a rainy day (or sunny!). Brought my 2.5 & 5 year old and we could’ve spent all day. It’s 3 levels, each floor has multiple activities to do. There was a reptile touch & talk that we just missed. We saw that this is a museum in the reciprocal program that our Florida museum membership was apart of - and Sam made it so easy to get in free with our pass. The gift shop is so affordable. Mason was so helpful when my son asked if he could put coins in a donation tornado thing, he took his own wallet out and that just was so sweet. We can’t wait to return!

What a fun surprise it was to stumble upon this place with an almost 4 year old. I wasn't sure what to expect but the exhibits were so fun and well thought out - my daughter did NOT want to leave. Great job to the staff that maintains and runs everything - there is something for every kid.

I would have returned had the staff been more interactive for a almost $30 per person ticket. Overall you get like maybe, MAYBE, $10 worth of fun stuff to do, so experience needs to be the focus of the staff.
It was a delightful experience. It is a bit crowded on Sunday afternoon but there are enough staff there to support all activities. We spent a little over an hour there to learn about circuits, classic TV games, blocks, lights, winds and vacuum. Overall it is a much better than average children museum. The admission was free to MCPS (Montgomery county public school) students currently. We used the free public garage parking (7401 Waverly Street, Bethesda, MD 20814).
Great maker space for kids. Fun projects that kids of all ages will enjoy. Even on a busy day, the workers and volunteers make time to connect to your kid and give them instructions. There is a parking garage less than a block away, so not sure why folks were complaining about parking.
I'm thrilled to have such an interactive, local, and educational place to take my children. With 4 floors of fun, there's something for every child. Both my husband and I have been here on 2 separate occasions. I went on a school field trip, and was overly pleased that it remained organized and was well thought out. I know they switch the themes out every so often, which makes it worth going EVEN MORE. If you're looking for a place where your kids can get their energy out, but also learn a thing here and there, go to the Shenandoah Discovery Museum.

I highly recommend to pay a visit either during sunset or sunrise to see the magnificent view ahead of you.

There's lots of things for the kids to do and no time limit. My kids absolutely love going and we learn something every time we go.
My kids love this place. The museum has 4 levels with the 4th level being outside and boasts beautiful views of Winchester. There are many activities for the kids to engage, from puppet theater to a stuffed animal vet clinic. It closes at 3:30pm and you will need at least 2 to 3 hours to enjoy everything properly.
Brought my 15 month old daughter here to get some energy out. The top two floors had lots of activities for her to explore and engage with. Definitely recommend as it was only $10 per person and hours of fun!
Went on Presidents day and the tickets were only $5. What an amazing deal for a wonderful place! The kids loved playing with all the experiments. Especially a room dedicated to the science of games. So many great games for them to play like pop a shot, mini golf, marble mazes, and more. Also, outside and by the parking lot you are getting the greatest views of the bay area.
Little kids heaven. My 4 yr old loves it and can stay for hours. My 8 year old likes it for about an hr. My 11 yr old loves it and spends a lot of her time in the craft area. Always greeted by cheerful staff member and restrooms are clean.
Update: it's been 7 months and nobody reached out to me so my ratting is going to 1 star. Wish I could do no stars!
My daughter and I only went into the store to look around. Its a pretty cool store. Prices weren't too high. Considering it's the Mall of America. The 4 ladies working the front counter looked very bored and out of place. Not one of them smiled or said anything to any customer that walked in or out of the store. I will never now buy anything from this store just because there is no customer service skills. I know it's hard to find people to work however businesses need to apparently teach humans on being friendly and welcoming into their business. It's a shame because my daughter really wanted to get something. And actually do the experience. I just can't support a business with no customer service skills. I took a video of the employees doing nothing! I may change my review if someone reaches out to me. But I hardly doubt it!

Fantastic place to take kids for fun and learning! This museum immersed your kids in all kinds of fun learning play. From learning about bees to levers and pulleys, music, and gears. There is something for everyone here. Our little ones had a fantastic time.
Great place for kids! Surrounded by nature, and open areas. The carousel is beautiful and the play ground one of the best in south Florida. Have in mind that Carousel is open Friday to Sunday 10-2 pm.
A great place for kids to experiment and enjoy discovering some interesting scientific phenomena. There is a lot to do and our little one got so engaged that she didn't want to go home at the end of the day. They have a place for dining outside that overlooks the whole Bay area but the wind was blowing hard up there. The 3D documentary was fun to watch for all ages. Staff are courteous and helpful. I definitely recommend this place. There were plenty of parking spaces, but not for free.
I took my children to this museum on a church youth trip. My kids really enjoyed the experience. The roof floor was by far their favorite of the entire experience. I loved the bee area and the live bee hive! Sooo cool! Try to go on less busy days. Less kids their the better your littles will enjoy their time. Everything is hands on and the more they can touch. The better the experience
We celebrated my granddaughter's 6th bday last weekend at the KidZone. What a great place for kids and adults to celebrate and play.
This is an amazing museum!!! We have been twice and will be going back. There is something for every child here from high tech coding to good old fashion arts and crafts! They have an amazing makerspace where children can learn how to use tools and see a 3D printer in action.The layout is open but has smaller learning spaces for activities related to specific topics. My kids loved building a maze and making small flying objects to try in the wind tunnels. The staff is friendly,engaging,and always around to help. Parking is easy at the Waverly St. Garage just across the street or you can take Metro right to the museum! I even had a great time as an adult! We programmed a small robot, played with neat gadgets from a visiting engineering school, and had fun creating art!
Great time was had by everyone all around - second floor was the preferred floor by our 18 month old. The bees were my personal favorite part.

Very informational. Great displays. Helpful staff. Shows the origins of Miranda Rights. Car, motorcycle, helicopter, etc on display. Pay homage to fallen officers and K9 officers. 9-11 memorial. Don't miss this museum!
This was a great indoor activity for my almost 4 year old. They limit the # of people they allow in at any time, so it's not overrun. Wonderful space!

This is the place of my childhood dreams. I have a very active two year old and something captured his attention the two hours we were here. I also have a four month old and the infant area was so nice! I only regret that I only just found out about this place!
Small museum, but great people take care of it and also take care of you. I have learned some interesting history of the police department and the Miranda warnings. If you are in Phoenix you will not regret paying a visit. (by the way, it's free!)
Children can dress up with a pirate ship theme or a princess castle theme. There's a snack room and an art room. There's an indoor play structure, as well as an area for infants to play. They have a train table and science tubes area. Must have a paying adult to accompany the kids. $8 per person. Closed on Mondays. Recommended for children under 6.
I had a really great experience coming here for the first time! I'm very grateful that I could witness different pieces of history. My grandpa is a retired lieutenant who served the Phoenix police force, so it was nice to have him as well as my cousin there. Our tour guide, Tammy, was super nice and friendly, and she gave us a lot of good information and let us take a ton of pictures of different artifacts. Mike was also very accommodating towards my grandpa and kept him company, and I appreciated his help getting me in and out of the parking lot. My favorite part of my visit was seeing the old police cars, motorcycles and helicopter, as well as the official documents from the Miranda rights trial. The police memorial was really beautiful and the stained glass paintings were well done.

My 19-month old grandson loves the KidZone; there is so much to explore and so many toys to play with that are different from what he has at home. He recently realized the walls, painted to look like the skyline, were not real. He loves the train set, at his height, the wind machine, and driving the "ship." Looking forward to outside play this summer.
I took my 14 month old and she loved it. It was refreshing for us to get out of the house and to take her to a place she can learn through play. There are 4 floors, the fourth consisting of a floor piano and rooftop. There are no toddler specific areas but each floor has activities that a toddler can get involved in. You can take The stairs or The elevator. The bathrooms are nice, clean and have changing tables. Staff is friendly and helpful. I hope this review helps everyone want to visit and helps others looking for a place to take their toddler.
The correct address for the museum is 17 South 2nd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003. Its on the south side of the Maricopa County Courthouse. If you are downtown, take the time to stop by and see the museum. The staff is friendly and loves chatting with the guests. The museum is set up well, including the first helicopter that PPD owned. I was fortunate enough to have gone on a day one of the first pilots who flew that helicopter was working. So many great stories about the amazing people who wore the Phoenix Police uniform.
