A Review of Appreciation (Essex Office)

The customer service I received from Ms. Alyssa Cardone was beyond exceptional. When scheduling an appointment or checking in, Alyssa was friendly, professional, and attentive to my concerns and general welfare. There is nothing mechanical or forced about the employee’s disposition.

I write and present this review because encountering employees like Alyssa has not necessarily been the norm at businesses. The identified employee is not only a good steward for the company she represents, Alyssa exemplifies and models the characteristic traits that others should possess and exude. Alyssa definitely deserves recognition for her outstanding conduct, performance, and commitment to the public/patients.

There are not many ways to say this, but the employee who is the subject of this review is GREAT, and I appreciated being treated with respect and valued as a customer/patient. Alyssa, I appreciate you.

The professionalism of the office staff at this location has drastically improved! I have been a patient of Dr. Dunn for 10+ years. He is a very thorough and conscientious caregiver. He has performed surgery on me that provided great relief for my injuries, has referred me to excellent specialists outside of his scope of practice, and has always made me feel valued and respected. I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for an honest, straight shooting professional.

We went for the first time today for our daughter’s 2 year well visit. This place is great. Everyone was so nice and Melissa was amazing. We loved her. So happy we found this place.

I just can’t express my thanks and appreciation for all Dr. Jorgenson and his staff have done for me. I am going on 8 years post surgery and feeling great. This round is the other side of my body. But, I have total confidence that the outcome will give me another chance at a pain free life.

Excelsia Care in Essex has made my experience 10x better. They are so nice and welcoming and make sure that you are taken care of from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. They are very FAST they get you in and out and very accommodating on your schedule. Very clean and maintained very nicely.

As parents, we trust our children (6) to this place, yearly check-ups or emergency appointments. But our last appointment was a little odd, there is a new lady in the front desk, young but really bad manors, anyway. I recommend these practitioners. 10/10

Asked for a 2nd opinion on a long term back issue where another surgeon wanted to fuse the old fashion way. Dr J performs a less evasive procedure and I found him thoughtful and diligent explaining some diagnostic options I could do 1st to help HIM decide my best course of action. I'm following that path now and if I was to decide on surgery I'd have no qualms about having Dr J perform the work

Dr Spackman and Dr Jorgensen are very knowledgeable and truly show they care about each patient. They are patient with all my questions and provide very thorough explanations and information on what to expect with each visit and procedure

Dr. Jorgenson's bedside manor was excellent, he answered all of my questions about the surgery in great detail including the recovery timelines.

Sari L. and Doctor Jorgensen are very caring and efficient. My spine surgery was a walk in walk out process. Very successful. After a year and nine months I am pain free. I highly recommend them.

I started suffering from pelvic pain and did not get any help from my GP or GYN. My GYN said I needed a hysterectomy but that didn’t make sense to me. I found out about Pelvic Rehab Medicine (PRM) in Atlanta and decided to make an appointment. I met Dr. Yogita Tailor who was very kind, took her time to explain what was going on, listened to my questions and concerns, and began treatment for Chronic Pelvic Pain and Pudendal Neuralgia. I drove 2.5 hours four weeks in a row to see her for treatment and she made it so comfortable for me. Also, PRM has other specialists that hold workshops for your recovery. These are virtual classes for things like nutrition and retraining your brain. The Retrain Your Pelvic Pain workshop was stellar! This helps you help yourself feel better and gives you medical explanations for how your brain handles pain so you can learn to mitigate it when it flairs up. Please give PRM a chance (if you’re a man or woman) because if you suffer from pain in your pelvic area they will definitely be able to help you!

I’m so thankful that Dr. Taylor is on my team of specialist. She has wonderful bedside manner and really cares about each patient. She is compassionate and kind. I’m so incredible blessed to have found such an amazing place to help me recover. It has really helped build my trust in doctors. She is truly amazing!

Cannot say enough great things about Dr Sherr, his office and staff. My whole family goes there for Dr Sherr's chiropractic magic touch. My mother is raving about the Extend-track treatment to help her back after a car accident. And the hyperbaric oxygen treatment has greatly helped my daughter. Amazing holistic center

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Tailor! I searched for 6 years to find a practice that could help me manage and release my pelvic pain. The trigger point injections and CBT pelvic pain therapy go together as a healing process.
I went from having a progressed case of undiagnosed endometriosis and a partial hysterectomy along with bladder spasms, a tense pelvic floor and lots of pelvic nerve pain related to sex and sometimes even friction from walking to a place of complete management. I was able to do all of the normal sports/activites I had lost with the pain and be back to a normal lifestyle. Dr Tailor and her practice literally gave me my life back! I highly recommend Dr Tailor and her protocal.

I just finished my six week course with Dr. Tailor and wanted to leave a detailed review of my life-changing experience.

Anyone living with pelvic pain will tell you how much of an effect such a clandestine area of your body has on your life. I came to Dr. Tailor with little hope after more than a decade of dealing with this problem and, frankly, some disillusionment with healthcare in Georgia (I’m from CA).

Dr. Tailor is one of the rare medical professionals who deeply listens to patients. She is warm, knowledgeable, and clearly top of her field. Besides her bedside manner, she alleviated about 80% of my pain within the first two treatments. Throughout this experience, I’ve been extremely emotional because of the absence of pain because everything else I’ve tried has failed. I would recommend Dr. Tailor to my mother and best friends without hesitation. She is hands-down, the best provider I’ve seen in the United States for this problem.

Moreover, she never makes you feel rushed and her instructions on treatment are clear. Lastly, she’s very communicative, explaining the “why” behind her treatment, elaborating on each step of her method, and talking you through each stage of the injections every time.

Kim at the front is fantastic as well. She’s very responsive via email. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 20 minutes for a response from her. She’s friendly and flexible, rescheduling without making you feel bad for having to change up an appt.

The nurses Latayia and Brittanie bravely endured my crazy stories in the room each week and always have smiles on their faces. Again, they were happy to answer questions, clearly understood the treatment they were providing, and made a very difficult experience quite pleasant.

Seldom do I leave a review with out elaborating on the downsides, but there really are no negatives to discuss at this clinic. If you have pelvic pain, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Tailor and her staff.

The way this place truly cares about their patients is invaluable. They find the root cause of any issues you are having and/or they give you ways to optimize your health. Love Dr. Sherr and Dr. Reid. True healthcare heroes.

I recently had lower back surgery to relieve a pinched spinal column. It was so bad, at times, I was having a difficult time walking.

My surgery went very well and 5 weeks later I am almost back to normal. I now have my life back.

I hear Dr. Tailor is amazing and an excellent doctor. Other than the excellent care that Dr. Tailor provides, it is disappointing to hear that they treat their employees on the front line awfully. Leadership and managers are not professionals and they are the reason why their frontline workers leave the company so so often. I suspect the turnover rate is significantly high and this ultimately impacts the way patients are treated. Really hope the CEO of the business hires more competent, kind, genuine, and professional leaders in those leadership positions. Your employees are the people who carry this business and if you want this business to run efficiently and effectively, strongly consider taking care of your employees and most importantly, hire professional, educated, and kind leadership who know how to manage/support their employees

I have struggled with Pelvic Floor and bladder issues for at least 10 years. I saw multiple specialist and gynecologist with little relief. I was finally able to see Dr. Tailor after some insurance changes and her treatments have made such a significant improvement in my symptoms! I finally have been pain free most of the time and just as important I finally have someone to go to that actually understands these types of pain issues. If you are struggling with long term pelvic floor problems Dr. Tailor may be your answer. Great staff and environment also!

Dr. Tailor is a fantastic Doctor if your are suffering from pelvic health issues. She will fully listen to all your concerns. She is feeling detailed and plan on the first visit it may take longer because this in not the typical 10-15 time with the Doctor that we have gotten used to. She is a great doctor to have on your team!!!

He has already performed one back surgery. I feel more at ease with a surgeon that specializes in spinal surgery. The first surgery went fantastic with minimal pain, quick recovery and excellent result. My PA was Kyla Byers she explained things to me in a way that I could understand and was very caring. Everyone at the Spine Institute from Dr Jorgenson to the receptionist make you feel comfortable and relaxed!

I was sent to this location as a suggestion from my lawyer, and I must say Dr. Fosatti is an amazing doctor who knows how to take care of his patients. Receptionists are extremely kind-hearted and so patient. The therapists, let’s just say they are angels for their wonderful work. They will pinpoint where you’re hurting and will focus on that area till you’re able to do things on your own throughout the one hour session you have. I totally recommend this location to anyone looking where to go for physical therapy. This place is phenomenal!! I personally love it there!!❤️❤️😁😁

My daughter is healthy and thriving because of J. Zethner NP and Dr. Sherr. My daughter sees Jenny once a year for physical and Dr. Sherr monthly for adjustments. They're both excellent practitioners. Great bedside manner, knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend them.

Dipty Mali is professional and has huge knowledge. I was coming and going to 3 different PT offices for my shoulder problem but she was the ONLY ONE who found out exactly what’s wrong with me and how to fix it. She explains everything with logic and it all makes sense. Got better information than my orthopedic MD! Her treatment is focused on your problem and goal oriented so no time waisted. I got better after just 2 visits!!!!

Area like Bergen County you will not find that type of attitude here. Terry is great and explains herself well. From the staff Christine and other secretaries are friendly as ever and welcoming. To Charlie and his friendly and positive attitude. 5 stars ! I’m sure you can’t find a better staff than they have here. They are outstanding! 👏

From the first day my experience was uplifting. As some who works in healthcare it always impresses to see how the staff is warm, cooperative, caring and sympathetic to everyone that walks in. They always look up when someone come in regardless of how busy they may be. They take time to listen always with a smile. I love Dr Brown, she takes time to hear me and always explains my options for treatment never making me feel as I being rushed. My experience with another facilities was that the process called for several appointments, 1 to see doctor, 1 to go somewhere to schedule appointment for treatment if I needed injections , then go elsewhere for therapy all of which takes longer. So for me PMR provided a greater patient experience in that my needs were met immediately and continued care was provided within a reasonable time frame . I highly recommend the practice.

Can’t say enough about Northport Wellness Center. My family has been seeing Dr. Sherr for over 7yrs. So great full for everything he has done for my family. Dr. P is also a wonderful doctor. I always turn to his protocols when my children are ill. The only doctors I trust with my family. From the staff to the practitioners they are all truly amazing. I can’t thank them enough.

I recommend PMR highly for many years and injuries. I have gone to PMR for my back before and after surgery. My diabetic husband after leg surgery for broken tibia. And we have both gone for hand therapy. Excellent therapists and assistants. The office runs very smoothly and after the first visit you feel at home. Thank you.

not punctual. Waited more than 40 minutes for my appointment, for which I was early and then I walked out. Their Englewood office is very punctual. The most I ever waited there was 5 minutes. Stay away for this Fort Lee office unless you're ok to wait a loooooooong time.

I have been a patient at PM&R over the years after sustaining different sports injuries. Each time they have patched me up with their knowledge, care and appropriate exercises and correct manipulation. I owe my continued pain free physical activity to Ephraim Yablok, a superb PT. He listens, observes and then tailors treatments that works best for the patient. He and this organization have my grateful endorsement.

The staff in the Fort Lee office is always welcoming to me. I hardly have to wait to see my therapist Andrew. If I have questions about my visit, they explain what is needed to make me feel better. I would recommend this office to any of my friends and family that live in the area.
