what an amazing thing to see / experience. If you can. go. also I would highly recommend paying the 3 extra dollars to do the little story/ tour thing. it adds a whole level of depth to everything you get to experience. Also let's you interact with your given employee card. "Boop" Card.

What a fun place!! Fantastic visual arts to keep your eyes busy and full of fantasies. Came on a weekend and there was no waiting line at all. May be a good idea to reserve tickets in advance. We got the glasses for enhanced visual efforts, however just by personal experience they didn't seem to be necessary.
Such an awesome exhibit! If you're considering getting tickets and going, just do it. Words and pictures really don't do this place any justice. The amount of work that the artists put into this place is out of this world. We went 2 years ago and I'm still in awe! We're looking forward to visiting all the other Meow Wolf locations!
This was a really well put together spot. Super enjoyable, and the “Boop” card was a really cool thing to do. The only downside is there’s some “choke points” in the storyline of the boop cards that when it’s busy (we came Saturday night) there’s a line waiting for it. Makes the storyline hard to do and follow along with. We ended up not completing the story as it was just too many times where we were waiting in line for a computer.

The visuals were incredible. Mind blowing.
Don’t take kids if going late otherwise they won’t be able to do things on their own or see all exhibits, understandable but be aware when booking.
Omega Mart was fun and could easily take up 3 hours to explore. You do have to pay for each exhibit. I would say more food options are needed tho.

Full disclosure: I’ve volunteered at DC History Center in the past. Heads up, the research library is only open Tuesday and Thursday by appointment (as of this writing).

The big picture: The DC History Center is a hidden gem of DC’s museum landscape.

Why you should go: the staff is helpful, the exhibits are informative and it’s a budget-friendly way to understand DC’s neighborhoods, culture and political status

The bottom line: if you are interested in DC local history, photography or beaux-arts architecture, then this museum is for you. Remember to check out the basement floor and the second floor to get the whole experience!

By far one of my favorite experiences in the state of New Mexico. If you’re just passing through or live in the area this is a MUST. The exhibits are amazing and they always find a way to keep it interesting. If you’re lucky enough to see a live performance at meow wolf it’s out of this world. I saw Matisyahu at meow wolf and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. I’ll post some pics of our most recent visit. Love meow wolf this is the least I can do thank you for all the amazing memories!!!

Cool place to go. They have a few different escape rooms, a haunted house, and a tour of Galveston's pirates history (inside tour). I haven't done all of this but it was fun. The pirate escape room was cool.

Actually I wanted to see the Africa one, but it wasn't on during our stay in Vegas, so we saw the space. Which was really good! The film surrounds you, it's on all the walls and the floor. The introduction was great too! I definitely want to see the Safari when I have the chance to!

What the frick google maps took me here when I said find the nearest walmart
Quite a lot people when we went. There were a lot of weird products and the premise of being in a dream was there with almost the funny names like 'did you really think this was butter. I didn't try the puzzle because both my buddy and I had headaches but there was a lot of different themes which was awesome!

Baby avocado enjoyed omega mart thoroughly :)

This was phenomenal! Absolutely love it. We spent hours here and didn't even realize! So plan on being there for a while. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You're going to be moving. There are clues to look for and a deeper message with this exhibit. Never experienced such a unique and fascinating exhibit like this. We are planning on going to all the others. Thank you Meowwolf and employees!
We went on the safari tour and it was super cool seeing all the animals and cool backgrounds. Time went fast but it last about 45 mins. I’ve never done anything like this so it was our first time. For first timers it was very entertaining. I will be back to see the space show!!

This place was so cool! A visual feast, I highly recommend setting a day aside to check this place out. **have to be with someone 18+ to be admitted** While "tours" are scheduled, it's more to stagger out the crowds, once you're allowed in you can explore until closing time if you like.

I have some mobility issues, so that was initially a concern for me. While this place is in no way wheelchair accessible and the ground can be uneven or require steps up or down, which could prove tricky for those with walking aids, I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that there were options to stop and sit or take a break all throughout the venue on both levels mixed in with the rooms & artistry.
We attended the Illuminarium on Sunday evening for the 930pm showing of SPACE. The check in process was so simple. Since we already had digital tickets we were scanned in and only had to 2 for 2 minutes to be let into the first room.

The experience in the first room was amazing and our guide was fun to interact with. We enjoyed watching the rockets "blast off" and felt immersed in the process of take off.

Once we entered the larger main room we saw the "horoscopes" constellations portion of the show. They were amazing to see, and fun to read all of the descriptions.

By far our favourite portion was the Moon Landing show with the astronauts and moon rovers driving all over the surface of the moon. We stay for almost 2 cycles of all of the segments and enjoyed ourselves! The property was clen, and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful and we overall had an amazing experience at Illuminarium.
My family (Me, Husband, two young adult children and young adult neice and nephew.). We had a blast. We love escape rooms. We book one everywhere we travel. We pre-booked the pirate room, which is a small 20 minute room.

When we arrived, they had accidentally put another family in the room during our booking. They were so apologetic and allowed us to tour the pirate museum for free. It's so fun and funny.

This is a quick trip event...not an all day affair, but is worth it, if you are down at the strand looking for something silly to do.

We escaped the pirate escape room in 6 minutes!

The manager then allowed us to go through the haunted house for free. My 19 year old son and I are terrified of haunted houses, but we went for it. It was TERRIFYING! But I'm a big BABY!!!! We laughed so hard! And the actor that did all the effects was great.

Thanks for the fun memory!
Came for Sunday bar trivia as a group of friends in our late 20s (attended during the back to college weekend). Had really good cozy craft beer bar energy. Trivia/bar crowd was fun, not too rowdy. Craft beers had tons of variety, the sours were particularly delicious. Bar also had sangria and ciders as options (no hard alcohol). Prizes for trivia were first and also second place - $30 gift card to the bar and a flight of beers respectively. Overall, great time, great beer. Didn't get any food
Words and pictures can not describe this place. This is truly an experience like no other. Be sure to explore the whole place. The items in the store are so unique that I wanted to buy them all. Instead, we just got some goat pus to drink. You should allow yourself plenty of time to explore the area. There's hidden surprises behind every corner. Make sure you touch everything and look everywhere. The phones were one of my favorite things. There's plenty of chairs scattered throughout the place if you need to chill for a few minutes. The staff is very interactive and friendly. Definitely would recommend stopping by and checking this place out. It's a bit pricey, but I believe it is well worth the price of admission. Can't wait to check out the rest of the locations.
Beautiful place outside but I’m mad about to see instead historical place the F Apple Store. Good job
The space show is absolutely magnificent, breathtaking, and mesmerizing. I sat through it for 3 rotations, which are 45 minutes in a loop. I loved the visuals and the sounds. The staff was great. I did 9 attractions in Vegas with my Go City pass and this was by far my favorite one. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys checking out the night's sky and the amazing work NASA has accomplished.
I've been to the Meow Wolf: Convergence Station in Denver, CO which is 90,000sq ft versus Meow Wolf: House of Eternal Return which is 20,000sq ft here in Santa Fe, NM.

I love both, the feeling in the Denver one is quite large and spacious but there's pros and cons to each location.

Meow Wolf Santa Fe had significantly less people than Meow Wolf Denver, by a massive margin. If you're looking for a little bit more of a close-knit abstract art adventure, then you will love the Santa Fe location, and if you're looking for a large story with a lot more lore to it then the Denver location is for you. There is a story behind the Santa Fe location but I would say its much more focused compared to the Denver location.

I want to say the employee's name was Nikki, an older woman with glasses, was very friendly, she talked to my family and I about the story, I ran into her a few times and she was an absolutely wonderful employee. I also talked to Oliver and Sean (apologies if the spelling is wrong), they were both awesome as well, very friendly staff, I have no complaints. I talked to everyone I ran into.

We went into every single room, we spent about 3 hours there, we solved one of the secret puzzles, and we played around with the music lasers for awhile. One thing I really loved about the Santa Fe location was the abundance of comfortable seating throughout, whereas the Denver location is way more crowded and not a lot of seating in comparison.

The café seating was super comfortable, the prices are a little high for food and drink but absolutely delicious. You may want to hide your wallet if you step into the gift shop, they have some very expensive clothing pieces, outrageous if you ask me, but they have some really cool stickers/pins/magnets which I purchased.

I would come back, and I would recommend it to others.
Great experience! My boy had a blast, loves the Zoltar machine from Big. Next time we'll do the escape room.
We went to the late night Space After Dark. That is only open for 21 and over, with a bar available, and an option to buy a $10 drink with your ticket. Two rooms, one about 20 x 40 feet, where a DJ was doing his thing. The walls and floors were covered with graphics as if we were inside a space station. Pretty cool music and video.

The second room was quite a bit larger, probably nearly four times as big. It had wall-to-wall video completely surrounding the entire L-shaped room, playing a nearly 1 hour video of all sorts of cool space stuff, launches, landings, planets, moons, comets, astrology, asteroids and more. It was fun and interesting. The music was very fitting, and the sound was good. It actually became quite immersive with the floor and walls being part of the effects.

I guess I was just expecting more rooms, or other stuff. Definitely different, that's for sure. A unique experience, but not really overwhelming or super fantastic. But, it was cool and fun. It would have been a much better effect if the ceilings were done the same way.
Lovely place. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Nice variety of beers. Tasters were $5 each, so a 4-beer flight was $20. The Prairie Tiny Esses Sour was my favorite. The Rotbier (smoked rauchbier) was different/odd.
If you’re a fan of architecture then this is a must-see. Formerly the Carnegie Library, it was masterfully restored in 2019. The lower level, in particular, has an amazing ceiling detail. That level showcases a photographic review of the history of the library. The main exhibit is on the top level (be aware of its limited viewing hours). The space is batted in natural light as you ascend the staircase. The Apple Store occupies the main level.
Lively haunt with low ceilings, energetic student body vibe, and plenty of brews to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating. Got the chips and salsa which was good but I can't comment on the food beyond that.
A truly masterful multi-layered experience that provides a little something for everyone.

Do you love the strange and unusual?

Are you fascinated with solving mysteries?

Enjoy amazing food and entertainment in an open-space area that’s not overcrowded and annoyingly loud?

Is Art a huge part of your life?

Whether you said yes to one of those questions, or to all of them— Meow Wolf is for you.

The ticket prices are a touch high, but most people complaining about prices, didn’t take time to truly experience Meow Wolf.

⤵️⤵️⤵️
THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT COULD EASILY TAKE UP 1/2 - A FULL DAY. I want to say that upfront because my first experience here was a little later in the day, and I left upset with myself for not taking full advantage of the visit—- yet equally excited to return.

The website itself says 2hrs + is recommended just to explore.

If you want to taste the food offered in the Complex, really immerse in the artistic experiences and solve the real mystery behind Meow Wolf— I’d say 4-5 hours is more like it.

I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, and with the experience constantly shifting, your experience will differ from mine. —- I do urge you to not rush in. Take some time to read up on the experience. Interact with the staff. Look closely and pay attention to your surroundings.

Everything is not what it seems— and that’s the most epic part of the experience…..(there may or may not even be a clue in the pics below)

Safe and Happy travels, friends!

Don’t forget to follow for more honest reviews about unique travel experiences throughout the US ✌🏽

Not as big as convergence station but still mind bending and interactive. Do buy tickets online ahead of time and see what day they are open. Google has it that they are open 7 days a week. But they are closed on Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday. Parking is free. They have 2 different lines depending on your time entry. They are busy in the morning when they open at 10. If you come around noon there is hardly a line. No food, drink or firearm in the building. You will go through a metal detector. They do have a cafe inside but they serve mostly snacks and alcohol. No meals. Parents do keep your kids close, it is like a maze in here with hidden doors they can easily get lost. We spent about 1.5 hours here, compared to convergence it was about 3 hours. The art piece is unique and still pretty cool. We enjoyed our experience so much! They just opened one in grapevine, TX and we are headed there next.
We went to the safari exhibit, which was a visually beautiful display of wild animals. It was a pleasant experience and fun for the kids. It was a short exhibit limited to one room but we went at night so there were fewer people in the big room. Overall, I recommend experiencing this one time.

Very fun experience this was the first Meow Wolf my husband and I have visited. I love the Meow Wolf museums. We had a great time here and it was cool discovering all of the hidden passageways. This theme was like a house. Be sure to open every door and don’t be afraid to touch everything because it helps discover a lot. I did not follow along with the story line to help with finding clues throughout the museum, but if we go back I definitely will. Don’t be afraid to ask the employees questions they are more than happy to help.
My mother and I went, it wasn’t as big as it looks in the YouTube videos, however it was extremely fun and worth the money. The set design is amazing and very immersive. The story line is fun to follow, and even though I did a minimal amount of reading into it, I still had a great time and was able to follow the story. There is plenty to do while you’re there. Our first time through the exhibit, we just looked around, and then went to the gift shop and cafe before heading back into the exhibit. I would recommend eating before going since the only food available inside are snacks, but there was an amazing taco truck out front that we ate at after we were finished. There are tight spaces and some areas to crawl through, but don’t let that discourage you from going, there are multiple and easier ways to get through to the same places, and a ton of places to sit down.
We loved this place! The staff is friendly and there us so much to do. You must see the pirate museum. It was interactive with a talking parrot and cannons that shoot! Educatonal and fun too!

Beautiful 😍.

I worked part of the James Webb Space Telescope graphics (JWST was worked by NASA and Northrop Grumman), so I was curious of how they were going to display and present this beautiful space tool. They did not disappoint.

The animation and USA Flag 🇺🇸 planted on the moon was cool, and the planets, belts, meteorites breaking apart, the choice of music (added to all the feels), was very well made. The biggest I was impressed with as far as graphics was the beginning in the 1st room we were guided in, which was when we were "lifting off and launched" into space, going through the layers of the atmosphere.

I'm definitely going back to see this again. Top notch and beautiful. Also a great price for about 45-1 hour of presentation time. Whoever is complaining, is ridiculous and doesn't know what they're talking about, or straight up cheapskate. Go see it, it's rad! Then go to the building next door and check out Meow Wolf.
On a random day in DC browsing thru the Apple Store, I discovered the DC History center that is located on the second floor of the historic Carnegie Library.

At the time of my visit, the pop up exhibit entitled DC Home Rule 50 was on display. The collection of images highlights topics such as DC statehood and full citizenship.

I was very intrigued by the panoramic photos of black culture in the 1950’s & 1960’s. Especially the junior high school picture of Marvin Gaye.

The museum is free to visit, however donations are always welcomed.
Took our 15, 10 and 5 year old and they had fun! Many laughs! We did the haunted escape room and the haunted house, we all enjoyed it.

We had such a great time here today. The museum was great! We finally “escaped “ the escape room with a embarrassing amount of help. But the guy and girl working (wish I had their names!) we’re so sweet and absolutely amazing giving hints lol! The haunted house had my son and I running and screaming and laughing at the same time. Thank you both! Your patience and kindness made our whole experience.

As a part of the San Diego wild animal park, this was a great exhibit. The gorillas were very active, and it was fun to watch for quite some time.
This pin is inaccurate; the cheetah exhibit is at the far south end of the zoo. There are jaguars and leopards in Big Cat Falls, but no cheetahs.

The museum it's pretty cool not too big. Has some fun artifacts and it's cool to listen in on the little radio things they give you. My kids enjoyed walking around and playing with the cannons and stearing the boat.

The escape room is fun. Even my 7yr old enjoyed it. My son just looked at things and walked around.

The haunted escape room was cool too. Not scary I thought my son would get scared he just was tired fell asleep. My daughter and sister in law enjoyed this one the most.

I recomend to come its fun.

This attraction comes with an all garden pass or as an add on ticket with general admission. The Butterfly garden has some outdoor paths with native pollinators that are gorgeous and will inspire local gardeners to create a pollinator friendly yard. There are some Interactive exhibits you can enjoy along the trail. Inside the butterfly house you can witness dozens of species of free flying butterflies and some birds . There is a room you can look into of chrysalis and if you are lucky and patient enough you may see some hatch!
It was an amazing experience that you should definitely try, while in Las vegas. We had the go city pass, so it was quite affordable. The sensory delight that this attraction offers is beyond amazing. We saw the space exploration, and it was very captivating and interactive, def give them a try. The customer service was topnotch, my check in process to redeem my go city tickets was probably the best out of all the Go city attractions.

Hidden gem near MacDougal Street. It's located below the street level, so easily missed my a lot of people passing by and probably that's why we could find an empty table at 9.30 on Friday night.

Good selection of beers. The online menu has ratings as well pulled from one of the most famous beer app called Untappd.

You can also take cards or broad games to play there. Tables are quite big so that you can easily play games.

Love Monkey Village at the Phoenix Zoo. You enter the exhibit and get witholin 3 feet of the Squirrel Monkeys. The employees are very knowledgeable about the monkey. They are a joy to watch!. The exhibit is free.
Absolutely loved this place! The ticket price is a lil pricey considering everything inside is for sale. Had the entry been free I would have spent more money on souvenirs which would act as advertising for Omega Mart. Imagine your friends come over and see a weird Omega Mart item. They would be curious and ask, leading to, "Oh I got this at Omega Mart! You guys most def have to go.

Regardless of the entry fee. The interactive art is pretty freaking neat. Definitely coming back.

Good selection of brews but prices a little high. Crowd appears to be mostly students from Columbia University which is nearby.
Arts&Crafts Beer Parlor Morningside Heights (Uptown) location as well as Arts&Crafts Greenwich Village (Downtown) location are literally two of only a handful of best craft beer bars in all of New York City. If you enjoy really crafty craft beers or just want to explore what Amazing beer is out there, this place is definitely for you!! With that said, they still have wine, and light lagers and pilsners for people who don’t. Their menu is also pretty cool.

This place was great but I witnessed a butterfly fall into the water with the coy fish and then a coy fish ate it whole. Was very depressing to watch but the butterflies were pretty..
What a great service! Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about the craft beers, ciders and all they offer. The food is beyond amazing!! Best vegan menu I've ever had, every dish was outstanding, yummy and delicious. I'll go back because I'm craving the food already. 😋 Absolutely cozy and fun fun spot. ❤️❤️❤️

When you arrive at the home of The D.C.History Center, don't be confused by the Apple logos on the front of the building (the Center shares space with an Apple Store on the first floor).

When you enter this beautifully restored building, head upstairs to the History Center where it's very likely you will be greeted by a friendly member of the Historical Society of Washington, D.C.

There were two exhibits open when we visited, a panoramic photo display called The Big Picture and a room size timeline called the D.C. Hall of History. They really do a great job of celebrating the culture and history of D.C., not just as the nation's capital but as a city with its own story to tell. Plan to spend an hour here at most.

The Kiplinger Research Library was not yet open, but should resume operation in August of 2019.

Stumbled on this place while at Dickens on The Strand and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The pirate experience was pretty fun and quite informative. The haunt was pretty fun too! For being confined to such a small space, they really made good use of it and the actor did a fantastic job!
A highlight of the summer season at the Bronx Zoo. Classical music plays in the sauna like environment. Butterfly’s and birds in the environment with visitors. Small pond with Koi fish.

Went there to see info on Washington City history. Nothing to see there. Empty first floor. Second floor had an exhibit about future projects in DC and a research library that would have been nice to use, but you have to make an appointment.
