Not Only I've NEVER BEEN INSIDE, let alone Even HEARD OF This Coney Island Houses but as I was passing by, all I heard was some old school jam music playing from the 🎴 inside of the Vacant Coney Island Houses. I'm guessing that the place was open to the public for the summer, because it also looked like a restaurant hangout & Very Neat inside of the C. I. Houses. Several hours later as I heading back to the Amusement Park area from the beach at night, ⛱️🏖️ the Coney Island House was open & I saw some people sitting on the top floor, some on the lower level, & inside of the Houses were just chilling out, some were smoking 🚬 and drinking while listening to the Blasting old school jams that I could Barely hear my own sounds from my earplugs! 😄🎧 The Coney Island 🏝️ Houses 🏘️ atmosphere, looked like it was a weekend or a long weekend "Very Cool"Scenery!! 👍🏾😃😉💚

Moving in was very easy I got a lease and a key without fuss. As a black con it's hard to find a submissive man to come home to. I love you Robert. Im home here now

The staff is rude and unprofessional and also gives a hard time. I have to call the boro office to get any type of assistance. Horrible do not move here.
A 5 Star it is really clean and to greet people say NOAHHH GOT PUT UP Means Noah is the owner of Melrose and when you say that people willl come to you and greet you back and also say OGZK :)

We grew up in Wagner Projects and I and my brother had a wonderful great time, Momma and Daddy raised us right 👍👍👍,we had a lot of friends, when Momma passed away I went back to sit on the bench and looking at the 4th floor window I could hear her sewing machine and her Beautiful Sweet Voice 🌺🙏🙏🙏💯🎀
But we lost our Daddy this past December and I Know God Blesses Me And My Brother Each Day And Night 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌺💯

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. My housing assistant Ms.Johnson is horrible. Verbally abusive to tenants, inappropriate behavior such as intimidation, humiliation, degration, and failure to identify herself when asked. An investigation should be done at this office !
I was offered a lease and a key the moment I arrived. Lots of stroking and smoking. The drinks were a bit warm for my tastes. Keep em high and tight mommies.

Possibly the best place I stayed in while I was in New York. Robert was a wonderful and gracious host. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try it out.
Living in NYCHA (Wagner Housing) is like playing Russian roulette. You take your chances living in a urban environment many different families. The truth is you get what you pay for… Management isn’t any help improving the changes of what’s needed in the development. Everyone comes to work just to receive a pay check so they too can go back to living in the slums. It’s honestly not there fault by default… The development is truly urbanized, it’s a stepping stone for some but a way to live for many… Some… this is there only resource of a home and have left in white society hands is morally poor. Repairs needed , water isn’t always running. The main essential living here will be a tremendous problem …

The management is horrible! Looking at most of the reviews like what the he'll ya talking about!? This is a housing project that holds a couple thousand tenants. Management is rude probably more ghetto then some tenants. They take care of one side more then the other it's just ridiculous. I must say living here all my life it's never something to get use to! Your a product of your environment doesn't mean become a project of your environment. Be better.

First of all this is a housing project not a business. Secondly its dirty and unsafe. Unless you are visiting someone you know there is no reason to go there.

Always say they will call you back but never do.... someone is always on lunch or out until you have to show up in person and yell to get help or services done.

I grew up here from 1980 to 1993. I lived here during the crack epidemic and two big hurricanes. Coney Island is a lower to middle class neighborhood. Living by the beach is a lot of fun, but if you can help not living here, don't.
This area will always have a warm place in my heart, but I'm aware that it's not the best place to raise a family. The schools are bad, I lived there when Marb's was the corner store, The buildings are always in need of maintenance. And it looks like the area has not changed much since I left.

Huge rats infront of every building in Marble Hill Disgusting They need to get rid of the garbage containers in front of every buildings This is a serious problem and nothing is being done about it.

Good neighborhood but people need to pick up after themselves.
I keep hearing reports of robbery and seniors getting robbed and their belongings getting stolen. And they don't have cameras in there. Leave your loved ones there at your own risk.

Better staff, more help in maintenance, safer community/ security. This place needs renovations and people that want to help and like their job.

Seems to be safe. People don't pick up trash behind themselves. You can meet really good people there.
NYCHA needs better management it took their building maintenance 8 days to fix a small stove for my father a 90 yr. Old tenant. Also they need to get rid of all the roaches in the Marble Hill Projects,Trim the trees before the branches that are rotted fall and KILL someone.
Tenans leaves their garbage in the elevators. On some floors people hang out in the hallways. No hot water in the winter or cold water in the summer.
It's better than living in the shelter.
Only clean when Kaila is at work she's the best cleaning maintenance for this building

I live there for 30 years never had a problem the only problem they change the supervisor too many times we have a new receptionist she's not qualified for that job

I've lived here for over 8 years I live in the 2861 building and i have two small children and I've never dealt with any drama not really fights of much sort for the post part it's a safe development
This is my home. The beach and fishing and the cold. Love it.
