Maryland Carpet Installations was Absolutely EVERYTHING I was hoping for! I was seeking a Professional company to come install new carpet for my kids play room and they were above and beyond my expectations. I will admit I was being slightly Boujie and wanted the best of the best for this install and I got exactly what I was hoping for. They came in and gave me an estimate and options immediately after I contacted them and between purchase and install was less than a week. The carpet is a dream. It literally looks like velvet and it wasn't even the most expensive option. It vacuums like a dream and feels like a blanket. It's thick and gives those rich people carpet lines when you vacuum 😂 Anyway they came in and removed my old carpet and hauled it away and within a few hours my new carpet was perfectly installed (of which they kept me informed of all the steps in between the process) all in all I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend them to ANYONE looking to get carpet done. They were a dream team!
I have used Maryland Carpet Installation TWICE within a year of each other! one was my daughters room! And the second was my bathroom that they generously squeezed me in their schedule to do (and i was in a time crunch)! Their prices are so reasonable and their work is incredible!
Donnie was great to work with though the whole process! The installation crew did a very professional job and everything looks great!

Donny, the owner, stopped in after the installation to inspect the finished work and asked if we were satisfied with the job, which we were. Thank you for a job well done!
Wow. Great work! We had our whole basement and foyer steps carpeted. Donny was great to work with, he was also very thorough throughout the carpet project. Answered all of my questions. The price was fair and the value was exceptional!

DMV Home Design sanded, stained, and sealed our hardwood floors beautifully. The floors had been discolored by sunlight, leaving a big rectangle where carpets had been. DMV did a great job making the floors an even color once again.
They were great when it came to helping me pick the right tiles for the project. Very courteous and attentive staff.
I worked with Rosa in Paramus and had a wonderful experience. She advised me very well on tiles and accesories, and was always extremely helpful. Needless to say, their products are beautiful.

Terrible customer service - we walked in and we were berated by the employee to leave because they were “closed”. I have never been yelled at by someone because I entered the store two minutes before closing but I can assure you that I won’t be coming here again.
I would highly recommend Dorseys. They have a great selection and good product knowledge. Installation was well done. Great attention to detail. Good pricing.

Installed a custom door with transom. Leaked from the transom down the door and into our house. Now we have moisture building up… they sent out a door representative only to decide to reorder our transom and door. A year later no door! Very disappointed
Came by 10mins before the store closed for a quick look. The door was locked and when they came to the door I asked were they open they told me no.
Paramount Furniture has a wonderful selection of beautiful furniture for one's home. If it isn't in the showroom, Greg will find it in his catalogs, or something very similar for you. Greg, Jim and Kathy are all extremely pleasant and helpful, an excellent family owned business. Highly recommend this store.
They have Andersen doors and windows, and several isles of tools if you’re a homeowner. It looked like they are remodeling their showroom when I was there. There is also a big commercial lumber yard for builders and contractors. Nice, helpful people. Great experience.
I worked with the sales woman named Gloria Seitel to renovate 6 bathrooms in my house. Gloria always behaved like she had a chip on her shoulder but I worked with her because she was recommended to me by my realtor. Through the sales process she was somewhat responsive because she was making sure she gets her commissions. We returned almost $2000 worth of material that she sent to us and charged us incorrectly for. That money was never returned to us and Gloria never bothered returning any of my calls or emails. Gloria is a thief and she is disgustingly rude. Please do yourselves a favor and work with someone else at Porcelanosa or go to one of their other locations. Just stay as far as you possibly can from Gloria the glorious thief.

I had to come back…15 years later, needed updates:Greg heard what I wanted and gave me so many custom choices so that I wanted them all!! Love how it is still family owned, and they knew which condo complex I own in Mammouth lakes!!
The entire team was super helpful & professional. The customer service was exceptional. They were quick to respond for additional last minute orders, unexpected problems during construction and very flexible with the deliveries. I want to especially thank Tony however the entire team was great.
My experience at Avanos Tiles was wonderful. Tony is amazing. His help throughout my kitchen remodel was invaluable. From design to materials and through installation, the service was personalized and I never felt pressured. Everyone I worked with was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. I bought my cabinets, flooring, countertop and backsplash all at Avanos Tiles and highly recommend them for any projects!

I had the pleasure of working with Zack on the renovation of my condominium. He was absolutely wonderful. Zack was so knowledgeable about everything . From the floors to the light fixtures . From the bathrooms to the kitchen . Every single inch of the apartment . There was nothing that Zack could not do .He was always on time for every meeting . If he said the work would be done on a specific date , it was done . Every single thing I dreamed of was accomplished . Zack was so easy to work with and he was always in a good mood . Wow ! Went to the Plano location, Tia, opened the door three minutes late. Not a terribly huge deal. However, when I entered the store I asked thank you are you open? Got the eye roll, and "come in." I simply said, wow what a welcome. She said I can ask you to leave. I responded, you don't have to, I'll leave. She followed me out like I was a theif. Little did she know I was there looking for a used refrigerator for a local women's shelter. What a shame.
I recently had my kitchen, bathroom, and living floors redone by DMV Home Designs and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Mr. Latif was punctual when arriving at my home and gave me a reasonable estimate for the services. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The installers were efficient in their work and did an exceptional job. Mr. Latif even stopped by to see how the job was going on the first day. I would without a doubt use this company again for my next project. If you want to remodel your home or floors, don't hesitate to book. 10/10!
I have done my mother’s and aunt’s bathrooms. I also did three of my own bathrooms including a shower fixture. The quality and look of these tiles are beyond extraordinary. All tiles were beautiful on the wall and easy to put up on the wall. We could not be more pleased. Shower fixtures are great!

I am renovating my Condo in Alexandria my space 1473 square feet. I was in the market for luxury vinyl flooring and floor tiles for kitchen and master bathroom. A fellow neighbor referred me to DMV flooring. After visiting DMV flooring and dealing with Zach it was an easy decision. Zach communication skills were first rate. My experience with DMV was both pleasant & more importantly, detailed. My Rep, Latif was very thorough & patient in guiding me in the most valuable direction for material selections & design. I was very satisfied with the entire process. The real gratification will be in a few weeks when the Wife returns to see her new bedroom flooring from carpet to a now completely new hard flooring. I believe she’ll love the surprise!

Very pleasant experience using Dorsey for basement carpet installation. Everyone we dealt with throughout the process was courteous and professional. Definitely will use again if need be.

Outstanding Experience! It’s the only way to describe this paradise of ceramics… Mike,Tony and Ezgi where absolutely awesome. They where kind, patient, repeatedly took time out to tend to whatever we needed. We built a new home and every inch of tile and ceramic come from Avanos. Not to mention the prices are very fair and they are totally willing to help you not over buy or get stuck with leftovers. Give them business folks, they earn it!!

We had contacted Hammond Lumber (Mark Donaldson) regarding ShoreMaster Docks from out of state (Michigan) for a camp that we have in Maine. He was willing to meet us on-site when we were scheduled to arrive in Maine. He was responsive and when we meet with him he was informative and and recommended a solution for our needs. Shortly after (that same week) after meeting we received our dock and had it installed all within a matter of 1 week. Mark was professional and personable and an excellent representative for Hammond Lumber. I would recommend Hammond Lumber and ShoreMaster Docks to anyone who may have the need for a boat dock and associated equipment.
We hired DMV Home Design to remodel our rental condo shower and kitchen and we could not be happier. They were very reasonably priced and the work was executed in a timely and organized matter. The work was completed on schedule as estimated. The team was polite and cleaned up after themselves. Now we have a stunning shower and Kitchen!

It's disappointing that a woman whose standing in front of the customer service desk with a gallon of stain for several minutes without being acknowledged. There were at least 4 me personnel at this desk and not a one of them were helping customers so to me that makes them available to wait to people, not answer the phone as the person in front of you should take precedence.
To top it off, there was no one trained to run the paint shaker machine. Only 1 person does it and he was out today. Ever heard of cross-training and your staff could use a refresher on providing quality customer service.

I purchased sofa set and deposit $ because I was told to deposit minimum $100 and will get the item On sunday But It never came its been 3 weeks already.Please make sure They just want to take your deposit $ and they will keep saying it very busy so Next sunday Next sunday then they wait until customer Cancel order and we lose deposit $. Thats what they do. Becareful everyone. I did not hope like that before I deposit $. Thankyou
I made a down payment on a carpet to be bound and cut. They were supposed to call me when it arrived. I thought it might have taken a long time because of the shipping delays in this country. When it got to 3 months, I called and they pretended not to know anything about it or have a record of it. I brought in my copy of the contract and they said they would get the carpet cut in a week or two. Again no one called me and I got in touch with the owner who said I could get my down payment back. When I went in someone I had never seen or talked to insisted that messages were left for me and I hung up when they called me. That was a complete lie. I said okay if you have the carpet I'll take delivery and all you have to do is remove the old rug and lay the new one. That was refused even though the initial salesman promised to lay the new carpet. I don't think they really had the carpet I ordered and that is why they refused to install it. They just wanted to keep the down payment which is pathetic as it is a relatively small amount . I think you must have to promise to lie to customers in order to work there.

Rosa is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!!! She helped me find the tiles I wanted, even though they had been discontinued. When the free standing tub I ordered arrived missing the drain, she made sure to correct the issue in a timely manner and stayed in touch with updates until it arrived. As for Porcelanosa, they have a great selection that really fits the contemporary style I was going for.
Dave was a lifesaver. When our order was delayed by 20+ days, he went out of his way to find another supplier and got us our I-beams on schedule. Dave’s commitment to us is why we stay loyal to Hammond Lumber. Thanks Dave!
My husband and I just bought our first house and the hardwood floors definitely needed some love. We called Hagerstown floors and spoke with Jamie who was very friendly and scheduled and consultation for the next day. He was right on time, very professional and wrote up a quote while he was at our house. They were able to start the job two days later and did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors. Their team was very friendly and got the job done in a few days. I have already recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.
The things they have are nice. Reasonable prices and I like helping the cause. I think it's wonderful what they do for people and the community. Well upkept place. I'm a big believer in customer service.I enjoyed everyone except the manager, Cara York. I just really got the feeling she was more into the money that she made from the items than helping customers. I spent $965 in the store on a couch, and 2 bed frames and one of the bed frames were broken. Not a problem. The problem was she just kept making me feel like I wasn't welcomed and she was kind of disgusted by me. I wanted to spend more.
Carpet was supposed to be installed November 6th but they claim the place was to cold. They came out today did one room and it's not completely done and said they will be back tomorrow. What kinda Carpet company is this ? I have never seen a Carpet company do things this way. Not recommended in any way.
We were looking for something contemporary for our bathroom and this place was good fit. Hope they add more options and ability to mix & match things. We bought vanity. Rosa helped us looking around and providing info on availability. It helped us in making decision. I would recommend to see her if you plan to visit. Also, if you plan to visit Porcelanosa, do not go to Brunswick store; horrible customer service.
Sharon Tan, was excellent in helping select tiles for my master bathroom floor and helped me find the perfect match for my bedroom floor - replacing the rug. Sharon's follow-up was timely and suggestions for saving on shipping cost was appreciated.

It’s like tile heaven!! Oz is so helpful and patient as he helped me look for my perfect kitchen backsplash. There were thousands to choose from! They may not be the cheapest (nor the most expensive either), but their customer service is absolutely worth the money. I have already recommended him to my friends and family. If you are going to have work performed by this company, I would STRONGLY recommend being present throughout the entirety of the job. In my recent experience with the company, the proposal formulated from the beginning was not adhered to at first. Long story short, had I not been present when the flooring installation guys arrived to replace rotted, saturated flooring, they would’ve simply covered it up and moved on. I’m more than willing to give my honest experience with anyone interested in learning of what happened. Simply shoot me an email or leave your email and I’ll message you.

We had Hagerstown Floors do our kitchen. They were very helpful getting us samples of flooring that I couldn't find anywhere else and ordered in samples multiple times. The price was fair and the workers who installed the floor were very careful moving the appliances on and off our hardwood floors and showed me how the pattern would look laid in different ways. They did a great job installing the vinyl floor and cleaning up. Our kitchen is not large and very chopped up so this was not an easy install. So why only three stars? The new kitchen floor is a quarter inch higher than the floor it meets in the dining room. They provide a flat threshold. My husband wanted to install some wall molding and asked if they would just leave the threshold and we would install. That was a mistake, we should have let them install the threshold, reject the threshold once down and ask for a reducing threshold, but we didn't. So once we realized the threshold they provided was not going to work we called but they already had their money so I was told they would talk to the workers and the suppliers and they could have another made but there would be a charged and they would get back with us, which they never did. Now if this was a threshold you could buy at one of the home improvement stores it wouldn't be a big deal but our threshold was over eight feet long, it was custom. So we found a woodwork shop in Hagerstown and had one custom made that reduces the height so you don't catch your toe every time you walk from one room to the other. We could have went back and paid Hagerstown Floors again for a custom red oak threshold but we didn't want to give them any more money since they didn't get back with us or try to work the problem out. Marvelous rustic mountain furniture store! Very reasonable pricing. Amazing delivery to Mammoth Lakes! Bedroom, dining and living room furnishings in various sizes with lots of accent pieces too. We will be using this store when we buy our cabin next year. I only wish some pieces had more choices for finish colors.
Extremely unprofessional. Had them come out to review our project. We are replacing our entire stair system and require the stair and risers to be refinished. We are ready to sign. The owners son came out and walked out and said he doesn’t want to take our work. I’m guessing it wasn’t large enough for them. This has been such a frustrating experience
I walked in, said to the guy behind the counter that according to a manufacturer that they could help me out with new hinges for my house, he took about 5 minutes and checked his inventory and had to order them, told me the price and I had to ask him if he was serious, he said he was and I realized that I should have started with Hammond in the first place. Very good customer service by Matthew at their Portland location on Riverside St.

We had extensive renovations to all bathrooms, re-carpeted bedrooms, stairs, and main level living converted from linoleum/carpet to porcelain tile. Todd who specializes in tile work did impeccable work. He was very meticulous, tidy, and ensured it was a job well done. We were offered a great selection of the best quality flooring I’ve ever seen in a showroom and was given advice selecting colors and styles. Hands down, if you’re looking to have a home project done to perfection, Dorsey Brothers is the place to go!

What a nightmare. This outfit came in and ruined our floors, installed flooring 3 inches too high ruining our fireplace and dishwasher access, made the floor too high for our counter access, ruined 5 hardwood doors by cutting the bottoms off. Everything needed removed and repaired. Someone that knows nothing about flooring could have done a better job.
The last straw was when one of their employees attacked our son with a hammer and the sheriff department needed to be called and arrested the employee. I'd avoid them like a plague.

Hammond has or can get most of the things a builder needs, their prices are usually comparable to big orange and blue... often better - they have same day delivery, and actual sales staff that know what their selling. The only downside is their hours... I can rarely get there except on a Saturday because they open at 7 and close at 5 which is my work day. 6-6 and I'd give 5 stars.

We had the best experience with Dorsey’s. Their workers were amazing! We had new carpet installed in 3 rooms. They moved the furniture, put everything back in 2 days and cleaned everything up. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend :)

We are very pleased with Dorsey Brothers. We had a small repair job that needed to be done quickly. Mr. Dorsey came out the next day when we called, and in less than a week our wood floors were repaired. He was knowledgable, quick, and sent us qualified workers. We would use their services again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this local company.
My wife and I were looking to build a chicken coop- something fairly basic, but we don't own a truck or large trailer so we figured a kit or just raw materials would be best, and to build it on site. I called the main Hammond phone number and spoke with someone who was less than helpful- just short one word answers in the negative, and when I asked about storage sheds he said they have them but would only deliver 10 miles from the store (striking distance?) and they would not help position it, rather just 'slide it off the truck.' I always consider shopping locally first, but in this case I won't bother with Hammond. Hancock Lumber at least asked me to come in and talk with two specific people, which is a step in the right direction.

My parents have used Dorsey Brothers over the years for certain projects on the house and they have always done a great job. When I was looking to have some work done, I knew I could trust them. Everyone I worked with from the guys that did the work to the girls in the office were wonderful.
It was very evident from the beginning that the installers from Dorsey Brothers really wanted to do a good job. They were very professional, personable, and didn't waste any time during the installation. They worked together very well and our floors came out wonderfully. I am very pleased and impressed with the quality of work that they did.
We worked with Steve to find a particular laminate molding that we needed. We went to Lowe's and Home Depot but no one there was very helpful. Steve was very helpful and have us lots of useful information. We left with exactly what we need. Great place. I would definitely recommend going here over some of the bigger stores.
