As a Army vet and traveler I was very disappointed with the Hampton Inn of Fort Lauderdale, Florida close to HCA Westside hospital. The front personnel are extremely rude, unprofessional, and insensitive to visiting guest! My fiance and I were traveling from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale to visit her sister in hospital and had the worst experience getting our room. The front desk evening clerk Chade AND day front desk clerk Tia were rude to us, hung up on us as we were trying to get info about getting a room and was nonchalant about giving us a room and it was very late in the evening. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID MAKING RESERVATIONS OR STAYING AT THE HAMPTON INN CLOSE TO THE HCA WESTSIDE HOSPITAL SO THEY WON'T GO THROUGH WHAT WE ENDURED or EXPERIENCED!

So far so good!
