The Fridley police department is a joke. Call Coon Rapids police department if you are in a situation and need help right away. They are further out but will respond faster than the Fridley police.
When calling no one picks up or they just hang up. No worries just wanting to get a case file so I can expunge some false information. Or get clarity on it. Great work.
On Wednesday 22 September 2022 at approximately 5:10 PM I witnessed a vehicle speeding on Wentzville Parkway past the intersection of Grand Canyon. After turning onto Wentzville Parkway I noticed a Wentzville Police pickup going past the speeding vehicle in the opposite direction do a quick u-turn and safely pursue the vehicle, finally stopping the vehicle on West Meyer. I want to thank and commend the officer as speeding on Wentzville Parkway is happening with greater frequency. I understand this is their job but enforcement is the only way to stop speeding and prevent potentially serious accidents and injuries from occurring. As a former police officer I know it’s easy to rationalize avoiding pursuits in high traffic situations however this was aggregious enough to warrant stopping the vehicle. It also sent an important message to surrounding drivers – DON’T SPEED! I would also recommend running radar periodically on Wentzville Parkway as an additional deterrent.
Waste of millions of taxpayers dollars. All they do is build barriers to protect the rich who live in the luxury condos in downtown.

Would rate 0 stars of I could. Been seeing a cop car parked by the lions shelter at Central Park for over an hour now with no criminal activity. Officers should sit at a park for no more than 15 minutes. What a waste of my taxes.
Partied with a first precinct cop in Vegas! Great guy! Great for the career! I’d be glad to have him on the force! Just wants to do the right thing! Hire more people like him!
1 star review, on 06/15/2022 around 6 pm after a car show you guys had 5 squads out almost causing multiple accidents. Saw one squad backing up and nearly hit a bus even after the bus had honked. There was no criminal activity going on other than spectators watching cars, they also had a lane blocked for no reason causing a traffic jam. Waste of tax payers money if you ask me
I called about a damage to rear window. I was on hold for about 2 min. The lady was kind and helpful. She directed me to the website to file a claim or the other option was to wait for someone to call me back. Otherwise she was unable to help w questions about me continuing to drive the car until it was fixed in a week. I just don't want to get pulled over.
It would be REALLY great if anyone ever answered the phone when calling. It's a 24/7 line, but nobody ever answers the phone to help the citizens of this city. The phone has been ringing for 19 minutes and counting.

Could there be a more inept and likely corrupt PD, following someone walking with a shop cart to harass, and after reporting to Mr Hoyt receiving a social worker letter in the mail that says nhpd contacted them to contact the cart walker, as if to say it's just her mind, her imagination, she lied? Seriously. I cannot believe police in this city would hedge accountability after the incredible grief city cops have caused the country and the world!!!

Never had a bad experience with MPD. When my car was stolen and I got it back they advised me of a recent shooting that just took place close to where I was at that very moment and that I should leave said area for safety. Was on phone with dispatch to meet officer to take car off stolen list.
Work at unity hospital. Once in a while I'll bike on a nice day. On a day I biked I had to go to a clinic to take care of something about 2 miles away. Around 8 am I bike there dressed in dress pants and a button up. There was construction which cut off the right side of a road. Before I move to the other side of the street I look back. Then ahead. Then back. Maybe triple checked. Then came up to an intersection. An unmarked police car pulls up on the curb. He gets out with his hand on his gun. Asks me why I was looking around so much. I explained why and where I was going. At 8am in business casual clothes. He runs my ID, gives it back, and just leaves. During my house purchase search, I filter out Fridley.
I was appalled at how you were treated downtown last night. I was just trying to go to target. Downtown in general needs more security for sure. It's ridiculous the lawless uncivilized folks seemingly run rampant without repurcution for no reason. Keep up the good work though it may seem thankless, its not.

I don’t deal with this department, But I asked about prescription medication drop off in the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. It was nice to get a very personable response.
Did a ride along a couple of years ago with a Sgt. Williams. A wonderful man and a true police officer. New Hope police do what they do best and protect and serve their community. Although I do not live in Plymouth, I am glad to live not too far away from NHPD.
When my mother-in-law died, the officers were kind, responsive and helpful. Her death was unexpected and took our family by complete surprise. The officers took the time to answer questions we had and were very respectful.

I've always found Roseville PD to be helpful and kind. Someone hit my wife's car and drove off. We reported the license plate and they were able to track down the person. I've also spoken with them during community events and they are very kind.
I came here about a month ago during a picture scavenger hunt and had a super fun time. We talked to one police officer for about 40 minutes just about to what he does and he was very kind and even let us sit in his patrol car thing. The car was super cool and high tech and I didn’t know cop cars had so much fancy stuff in them but now I know. I would have never thought to just talk to a police officer because they seem kind of scary but it was really interesting and i would recommend to everyone. So officer Olsen, if you’re reading this, thanks for a great experience.
I was in need of help on Saturday and they went above and beyond to help me. To resolve the situation, I needed to make a payment at the City Hall in order to fix the problem, but they didn't open until Monday. The officer helping us showed up to allow us to pay and fix the issue that day! Wow, we were overjoyed with their kindness! Thank you!

Yesterday my wife and I went to the park to have a relaxing day with some friends. Before leaving, she had to use the bathroom when she returned from the bathroom. She realized that she left the phone in the bathroom when she returned to the bathroom the phone was not there because someone took it.The person who took it turned it off so that we could not track it using the Find Iphone application. At 7:19 pm the person turned it on at the following address 6217 65th Ave N Brooklyn park, MN 55429 We called Brooklyn Park Police Department and they could not help us because the person who took the phone lives in an building of 5 apartments. The officer did not want to go to each apartment asking or searching for it. At the same time, he told us that the only way they can help us and depending on the case, was if the location of the telephene would have shown that it was a regular house. As we all know the iphone mode have a play sound option and we can look for it but they did not want to do that or help us. I hope you guys call me because I already did a police report and I hope it is in the system. I want to make it clear that they did not provide me the police report number.

This department should be under investigation for the lack of crime solving and just having the '' i don't care attitude'' the recent news tells you that there's no work ethic here. this department cannot be trusted and should be carefully monitored. i don't know their slogan for this department but whatever it is i'm sure they don't live up to it.
It’s sad that we have “public servants” that are charged with protecting and serving the community but all they really do is set up speed traps and eat donuts at the Holiday gas station. We should be able to go to our police department and receive help when we ask for it. Instead we are turned away. I am beyond disappointed with the “service” that this department gives us. I will be escalating my issues to the Attorney General in hopes that he is able to do something about my issue. Since following the law does not work. I am ashamed and honestly, will not be calling this department for help in the future. It’s better to solve the issues yourself. Do not waste your time calling these lazy people. They will not help you with anything. Just fix it yourself or let it go.

I was attacked police showed up and I was attacked again in front of them. They denied me my right to press charges. When will Brooklyn Park police officers do their job??? What good are they if they don't serve Justice for people??? Was it they didn't want to do paperwork??? Or did they want to go home????
Gray Police Department that are doing their best to make sure they follow proper procedures in order to come out with the best outcome. Everyone is different don't judge all police officers and police staff as a whole.
I was stuck on a icy hill in Fridley, the officer in a SUV pulled up alo g side me, i told him my situation and he was glad to help, he blocked the traffic till i cleared the hill, thanks Fridleys finest at work.

I have lived in this city for 19 years and in my 5 occasions when I have needed or asked the City of Crystal Police for there help or protection they have not been responsive. In my opinion they act very dismissive of concerns for personal and public safty, openly admitted to not following protocol in one of the instances and on multiple occasions in response to myself and others concerns respond with " this is not our top priority".
I had security questions, they had answers.
Made a non-emergency call on 11/12/2018 approx. 6:30 pm. Was put on hold for 3 mins....someone came back and asked what I was calling about. Told them of a young male soliciting money door to door. Was asked by person on the phone "what do you want the police to do about it?" Was very surprised by the response. Don't officers check out the neighborhoods anymore when someone calls in? Very disappointed and won't call that number again.
So I am dealing with the Wentzville police Dept. talk about pathetic police work. Not only did I locate, give all the evidence, phone numbers, addresses etc the detective took 3 months to call the person who by the way is charged with GRAND THEFT!!! This is after it sat in the chiefs desk for 2 weeks cause he went on vacation and then another's desk for a week cause he did whatever. Apparently they do not take anything seriously. And sadly this situation effects me eve day!!! Guess if I still lived in the area and was still a Paramesic and was still in the circle things would have gotten done. But hey who doesn't adore a good donut!!! Been advised to get the FBI involved and make complaints up the chain. Guess I'm going to have to. Grand theft and your only a person of interest guess that crime doesn't really count.

Was visiting my brother in Wentzville for the 4th of July holiday from Miami, FL. The drivers in Wentzville were so courtesy, and a Wentzville police office passing by while I road my bike on Roy Road even waved at me. In all my 52 years, this is a first for me. What a delight!!!
1 star for the entire department, they stole 180$ out of my wallet, and still have my firearm after 6 months of waiting..not to mention the threats made towards me and threat of being shot in the head after I shattered my leg in a bike accident...OUTSIDERS BEWARE STAY AWAY! almost forgot...they were going through my Facebook and my phone was in a squadcar for a week while I was in the hospital. I GPS tracked it and geotagged all locations they went (even went to pizza hut) and several times they had it plugged in and CHARGING!
They love drag racing their new vehicles then fleeing from you at high speed through neighborhoods with kids playing as you try to flag them down but realize you can't drive 75 in a 30 to catch up to them. Pure scumbags
One encounter was okay. They told me they're the friendly fridley police.. And they were helpful. The next encounter was why a gave 1 star. Which is incorrect, it should be more like me and my girlfriend were haressed, terrorized, screamed, and cursed at during and after they tried kicking the door in after we answered the door and she was naked because her daughter puked on her minutes before. They said take a minute and get dressed, they were kicking in the door before she could fully put on a shirt and pushed their way in with tasers drawn and told me to ****** **** on the ******* ground which I did then proceeded to call me "not so tough" and "big guy",then told her to put some f*****g clothes on, and began to harass her after seeing what they did to me. and the story only gets worse. I've always been someone who owns up, and I'll own up that ive been in trouble a few times but nothing, I mean nothing justified their behavior. It wasn't protect and serve. It was bully and scare! Literally. I've even had issues sleeping because the incident has been in my dreams.
Hopefully emailing the mayor will get the attention needed for this horrible experience that is the fridley police. If anyone knows of outlets for me to reach out to so this doesn't go unnoticed or just allowed to happen.

I went on an overseas vacation and left my car parked and locked IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE and the wentzville PD came by and towed it. I was gone for a bit over a week and it had never caused any issues until I left. Thanks Wentzville! Stellar performance making sure our streets are safe!
They pulled me over for going 40 in 30 i told the officer i apologized no other cars were around i was late dropping my daughter off to school. He insured me all was well he would take care of it in a jiffy. 45 minutes later he tells me my license is supended the tow truck is on the way i was unaware of the supspension and told him there must be a mix up .. He instructed me and my daughter out the car in 0 degree weather.. I told him i have valid insurance please let me call my mother who lives up the street to avoid tow he said no we dont allow it ! Minnesota state law says u have the opportunity to get a licensed driver to aid you. Turns out the 45 minute wait was to ensure the tow truck would show before i could call a ride my license was suspended over a old no stop at sign ticket which i didnt agree we so never bothered to pay i had no idea my license could get suspened over this or i would have taking care of it long ago. The officer is a jerk he prayed on me made shore my car would get towed and showwed no remorse for the fact i had a baby with me in 0 degree weather took us to a local gas station and left us there .... These are the worth most none compassionate police ive ever came across in Minnesota .. They aim to tow cars and give tickets and dont care your circumstances this was suck a cowardish and heartless act im disgusting act ..ass my daughter cryed in the back seat and begged to go to school the officer said nothing. I began to cry also now that im home and warm with my baby im still crying as i write this.. They are truly heartless and dont care about anyone but theirselfs !!!!!!! Heavily intoxicated wife assaulted myself and another adult while clutching our child. They didn't even ASK if we wanted to press charges. Didn't even bother having her drug tested at the hospital. Simply baffled...

My 18 year old daughter was driving home when some random stranger followed and chased her home. I confronted the suspect and he drove off. Called Wentzville and gave them plate number. They pulled suspect over and did nothing. They didn't respond back to us to let us know what was going on. And i guess it's legal to follow and chase any young blonde females in the great city of Wentzville.
Sadly, I've had to involve the police many times. However, they've always responded very quickly and are always very professional. For the negative reviewers on here... I wish you'd live the life of an officer for ONE day, then offer your opinion. They put their lives on the line for us every single day- show some respect.

Unlike the Robbinsdale police...see my other reviews...this department in Crystal is responsive, professional and a pleasure to have serve the community. The Robbinsdale police department could learn a thing or two from their neighbor community.
I hardly have any issues with the Police; and my car accident was the second after house burglary 8 years ago; but, I found that the staff there are very very helpful.
They were pretty jolly and welcoming too; so, I really felt happy.
Now I can say that I feel safe living in Brooklyn Park where there are so nice ppl to protect us.

These are the worst police in MN, as far as i know. Car was broken into at my apartment complex...cop called and gave me a case number...didn't come out and collect evidence (something MPLS police do) and it was 2200$ in repairs, making it a felony. Two days ago, there was an assault at the SAME apartment complex. This city is a dirty joke. Moving out of this hell hole ASAP. Thanks for taking my tax dollars and spending it on nice new cars so you can drive around and look like your doing something.
Honestly, I can't figure out what these officers do. They've been called multiple times about vandalism and drug dealing in my apartment building, they don't care. Shout out to Officer Lamers, however, he was the ONLY cop to give advice and handle the situation.
On several mornings during my morning drive I witnessed a crazy aggressive driver that nearly hit other cars during lane changes and illegal passes. I rarely see driving so bad it needs to be reported but I feared this guy really could hurt someone so I reached out to the Crystal PD. Peter Underthun got in touch with me and said he'd alert fellow officers of the vehicle. That was enough for me but he followed up with me a week or so later just to let me know that officers had seen the driver on four separate days and that he'd been driving within the law. I'm glad the driver calmed down (at least in the stretch where I'd seen him) and was surprised to get a follow up. Appreciated!
A great officer of the law lane split between me on my motorcycle and an oncoming car while going across the larpenteur Bridge and preceded to cross my lane into the right turn lane to target.. If he had misjudged my speed or cut it any closer I would have ended up splattered on 36 just below the bridge I was crossing.. There is absolutely no understandable reson to use half my lane especially when I had no clue he was there (no lights no siren) and no chance to pull over and let them pass so he can continue to endanger other motorcycles on the road. Not to angry more just thankfull Im alive to post this review. To all motorcycle riders out there, avoid Roseville PD at all costs! The ticket he would issue to whoever he was after better be worth more than my life.
The police literally sit in a handful of locations and try and come up with a reason to pull you over. Don't drive anywhere in Wentzville after 10pm.

From my experiences, they are absolutely great and very helpful. Obviously people need to be polite because no one is helpful if you are rude.
Thank you to the Minneapolis Police for how they handled the situation at Wells Fargo. They were peaceful, understanding, and caring of human life. Morton County could really learn something from them.
An officer was able to help me yet it was obvious that he wanted to end the conversation as soon as it started. I was seeking assistance and he would interrupt me with a short answer and would walk away. I had call out to him twice for additional questions. Besides the lack of servant leadership, he was able to provide clear recommended steps and knew answers to my questions.

Was wondering why I got a citation/warning/ticket for "fail to register vehicle annually" i just bought this car March 12th 2018 got pulled over April 6th 2018 for vehicle not being registered Do not understand why there had to be paper work if I have a 30 day period to plate the car. If your officers are not doing there job properly due to the fact that they do not know the laws everyone might as well become a police officer bc apparently there doesn't have to be any proper training. Very disappointed that they have to focus on this issue when there's bigger things to be worrying about in Wentzville. Recommend not driving after 10 pm because these police officers will look for any excuse to pull you over. Please get your officers in line. Next time I will just ask for your higher rank officer and hopefully I don't get shot for not "complying" because it seems like when you ask for a higher rank officer they take it to heart like it's the end of the world srry you don't know how to do your job.
Very corrupt and road crazy with no respect for the average man as everyone is a criminal in their eyes. They will jump out at every corner and ticket people for your hard earned money beware when coming through.
They work hard and work a very dangerous job in order to keep us safe. They continue to put their lives before ours so we can go home worry free. They will never be perfect and make mistakes as all humans will. But when you need help they are always there. They work above and beyond to keep us safe.
Teens exposed themselves while taking selfies today. Called 911. Operator told me they were on a higher priority call. I find it crazy that a 3 year old being exposed to a teenagers dick isn't that important. Cops never showed. Great job cpd, you all are top notch. Glad my daughters saw teenage wieners. Keep up the great work! There when you need them and mostly very quick to respond! I'm glad to know they are around and most seem pretty fair!/helpful. I do think they hang out at walgreens and hyvee a bit much, but that would be my only complaint which would isn't worth deducting stars for me. They serve our community it seems proudly and I feel protected!
Although in the past st.ann PD got a bad rep (and deserved it in my opinion ), when the new chief Jimenez took over, he made a lot of beneficial changes and weeded out the bad apples. St. Ann is changing for the better, and it takes money to do that. If you don't like the consequences, then don't break the laws. Don't blame the police for doing their job. They are there when you need them, and protecting you from harm even when you don't know it. They care, bottom line, if you give them the respect they deserve, you'll get it in return.

I am very very upset when I found that my daughter had been arrested on a traffic violation; she was to appear in court on the day of her baby's induction. She called in and they told her she could not miss the court date. She told them she had to get induced and was at the hospital. But the real kicker is that when they came ten days later to her home to arrest her they REFUSED to let her breastfeed her infant before carting her off. She explained she had no formula to send to the neighbors and that the baby was getting ready to feed when they knocked. But the officer stated that was not his problem! He really wanted her boyfriend but she told them he was at work. I am Nana (grandma) to this grandbaby and so for three hours this poor baby had to do without food! I am a counselor in Illinois and only found out about this after my last client left and then I called and put the $600 on my credit card that they were demanding before they would release her. I want her to file a grievance against this officer. My daughter has a very poor health condition and just gave birthyet this same officer knocks nightly on their door, shines his light in their windows, and arrests her everytime they see her driving her boyfriends SUV in hopes it will be him. This type of badgering and stalking from police has to stop; this is not how our law enforcement should be handling this issue.
pulled 8/21/2014 over for speeding 69/60, detective TESDALL held me without allowing me even a phone call for 24hr. Tesdall wrote that I was allowed "NO communication for 24hrs" over a speeding ticket. I would recommend anyone pulled over by StAnn to immediately start called friends and family to let them know that if the officer decides, you can be held for 24hrs or more without your family or children even knowing where you are.

I believe it is time that the crystal police department remind their PEACE officers that they too have rules to follow AND that everyone with a cell phone has the capability to record their interactions...
When a PEACE officer pulls over a vehicle, number one they need a VALID REASON, number two they CANNOT walk up to the window and ask if you have ever been arrested before, nor can they SEARCH you or your vehicle simply because someone MOVED in the vehicle. No wonder people riot against the PEACE officers, it's the only way to get heard.
This is the experience my son had coming home from work today, how many others have had the same experience? I have names, do you? I would like to hear from others with the same issues. By the way Mr. PEACE officer, my husband and I can borrow our car to ANYONE we want to for as long as we want to....get a life and go find some REAL bad guys...

I've had the pleasure of dealing with 3 or 4 of the officers from the Fridley Police Department. All have impressed me with their professionalism and courteous manners. We've got a good police force in Fridley, and my family and I are very thankful for that. You men and woman are appreciated. Thank you!
