The bill is so cool it's got a Domino's Pizza inside the building
I didn't actually go into the building. I just don't want to drive in downtown Detroit. What a hassle 🤐
Nice field
I think that Riverbend is one of Alexandria's great accomplishment 's.Its nice,clean and very affordable.
Riverbend is a nice place to live. They are good at getting repairs done in a timely manner. There are cameras for security. The only negative thing that I have to say is that we cannot have swimming pools to cool off when it's hot outside. Trampolines are not allowed. So, nothing for the kids to do besides play at the park. They are talking about doing renovations, so that is a major plus.
The Buhl Building was designed by architect Wirt C. Rowland in a Neo-Gothic style with Romanesque accents. Constructed in 1925, it stands at 26 stories in the Detroit Financial District across Congress Street from the Penobscot Building and across Griswold Street from the Guardian Building, all of which were designed by Wirt C. Rowland
Just browsing neighborhood as I was looking for nice places to move to
Beautiful Building! Frank's Deli is pretty good. I've gone there for lunch before! They also have a UPS store, salon, and PNC Bank! There are other places inside the Buhl Building. Also the Smart Bus station where you can buy bus cards is located in the building.

CREEPIEST BUILDING EVER. The floors are ominously lit. The colors are bland and depressing. Everything is either olive green/gold, beige, brown and gold, or a submarine color or a funeral home-esque purple. The maintenance is lacking. There's always pipes bursting or power issues. The signal on your phone doesn't work. There's no ventilation. So it's ridiculously hot regardless of what season it is.
My mother loves living here. Great place for aging folks. Clean and secure.

Not professional and nasty attitude
Home of the best hair care giver ever, Deborah! She has been doing my natural hair now for 27 years! From wraps to flips to my now afro she does it all. Only other person who does my hair now is me. She consults you and will tell you how to care for your hair once out of her chair. She will do what you ask and will warn you if it will damage your hair. She works out of Faros Shop.
Nice quiet place for senior citizens
unless u like your things being tampered with i.e. car/house I wouldn't suggest living here
Live in Summerport And Love it! :)
Very nice homes and well maintained gated community with guard at gate house. Have inspected several homes in this neighborhood and it seems to always be well maintained and you must have prior authorization to get in the gate. Homes have a service alley with parking in the rear.

I love it here
Very clean inside with guard on duty. Worked here and next door. Went into basement and without a doubt is all still original tiles doors and glass. If you are interested in historic buildings go downstairs and check it out. I will take pictures next time I'm there.
Very upscale residential area.
My dad loved living here, we felt he was safe and the neighbors were wonderful. There's a gate house which ensures safety--you can't just drive in--and there are a lot of activities for the residents. My dad especially appreciated how welcoming everyone was when he moved in, especially since he had just lost his wife (our mom) so that was very helpful. The place was perfect for him, unfortunately he only lived here a few months before he passed away but they were good ones, of which we have fond memories. We loved going to the pool and seeing the deer walking around the complex and my kids loved to watch the video feed of the front entrance which showed who was coming in.
