It was the more terrible chicken shawarma I ever had , it’s even not taste like shawarma and the chicken was not cooked good too
They charge for sandwich , tax and serve 15.51 and I was not able to complete it
This is the more disgusting sandwich I ever had
Don’t ever try this place

One of the best Turkish food spots in NYC.
They’re firing up some unbelievable Turkish food at this joint. Got the Chicken Gyro platter, cost me $21 with tip and got a ton of food—enough for 2 meals. Super satisfied with what I ate and will be returning again!

Beautiful family running this cute restaurant, ppl were friendly and attentive to help choose my vegan dishes and were resourceful. I had the Chana masala, aloo palak and dal with whole wheat roti. The girl at the counter educated me on what had dairy or eggs in their products. It’s a must go for vegans

Very Bad Store. Extremely poor customer service, manger was very rude to me and cursed me out. I waited 30 minutes for my food only to find out they take CASH ONLY.

Food was extremely soggy and tasted awful. Poor restaurant and staff was very slow. Over priced. Manger is Shia and does not give the satisfaction to its customers.

DO NOT COME HERE.

I enjoyed myself at this restaurant. The food was really good and the vibes was on 💯 the customer service was excellent from the South African host, this man was professional, classy and really knew his stuff. I really enjoyed the meal he recommended because it was my first time here and really didn’t know what to choose. I have since been back to order the same food because it was so good. The prices are also really good for amount of food and flavor you get . Also can’t forget the great African music playing. I am really happy to be back in New York with all the great cultural food around me.

The bread… fantastic. Chicken Adana… delicious.

Turco is always great and never disappoints. Stop by for a quick bite to go or dine in for a quick break. Their hot sauce is really good on everything.

Great place with warm Turkish hospitality and great prices in the City!

I've been brought to the place by a friend. Haven't regretted a second. Amazing delicious food, tasty Lentil Soup, great service! I think many agree that dining in the City can be costy at times... Well, this is a place where everyone can find a good dish for a good price tag.

Special thanks to the manager who was so attentive to all the tables and customers. To me personally, such behavior means a lot.

Will definitely return and highly recommend the place to anyone traveling, working, or leaving around.
It is a nice place where you will always find fresh and high quality food, from Central Asian food to today's dishes. Good service is offered along with the market. Meals are served daily or even hourly. Always fresh, always hot and quality food. Those who care about taste should not miss visiting here.

Walked in for a quick lunch yesterday. Was surprised of how good the menu looked . Many options to choose from. So ordered the appetizer sampler burek mixed grill and a pide. I was shocked it was honestly better than many places I have dined at even in Istanbul. Salads are and seasoned to the T . Meats grilled to perfection and seasoned extremely well not overpowering. And the tea reminded me of this place in grand bazaar. I finished w a kunefeh that’s baked on-site crispy cheese warm and delicious. This place is outstanding. Wait the best lentil soup in the world period . The best most attentive service in the city . Meaning never received as good of a service in this city since before corona .

The food is fine. I ordered the fityr (mushroom) & labneh. Take note most of the menu is wraps as they specialize in a certain food item (saj) popular in the middle east. The veggies inside were fresh, but the wrap wasn't filled too thick, which is why the bread overpowered the taste of anything else.

For $13, it was lacking. Also, it's served from a window & there's no seating, service, etc.

Given the food wasn't outstanding & neither the price nor atmosphere was enticing, I wouldn't rush to come back. However, it was certainly fine, and there's no reason not to try it if you're walking by and keen.

Food was fresh and tasted great. Service was terrific. Melissa with such warm personality and constant smile, was fast and pleasant, visiting my table at least 10 times during my meal, refeeshing my “ÇAY” etc.

Thank you Melisa for a great day. And of course thanks to Şipşak and all their employees.

Food was so yummy!
The beryan Soup was so delicious 🤤 perfect start for the dinner or lunch .
The entrees are very expensive also delicious! But they definitely need to focus on quantity of food. If we pay 38$ for a special entree coban kavurma. Hardly one person can eat ful stomach. They give very small portions of meat and rice but it's definitely delicious. We expect more quantity if your prices are high. Thanks for the on the house drink it's a shot of sharbat which is really good.
The wait staff were friendly and accommodating in setting up a table for 7. They first served a delicious amuse bouche and a kind of cider-like drink—all complementary. The restaurant is BYOB and we were not charged a corkage fee. The restaurant was quiet and cool; a lovely place for a relaxing meal.

Food here was honestly amazing. The quality was there. Nice friendly attentive staff. Everything arrived quickly and was freshly made. The portions were very good for the price. The meats were beautifully cooked and seasoned. Literally this spot is probably the best in town for this style of cuisine. I will be excited to come back and try other items.

One of the best middle Halal Easter food I ever had! Every single dish was top notched.
I ordered the mixed appetizer, mantos, mixed grill, lamb chops and whole fish.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for a good Halal dinning in the philly area.
Its a bit expensive but its every penny worth it!
Great service! Fast and friendly. Enough vegetarian options.
Beautiful ambience.
Chef sent some extras too, like the serbet which I loved

The food has no taste, the jollof rice was TERRIBLE an and the plantain was barely cooked. The chicken had no taste and was bland. My food came in cold and I had I ask for it to be warmed. They also said they used honey beans while it was black eyed beans. The customer service was ok but could be better. I couldn’t even finish my food also, they didn’t have the prices on the menu🤦🏾‍♂️
The food (kebab chicken and beef ) was so delicious ! The service was very good .
But first thing when I came , I came to restroom , and it was very dirty… really after this I wanted to go out . But we stayed , and food was amazing !

Delicious Mediterranean food! The house made bread is the perfect start to the meal. I got the traditional doner and it was healthy dose of well seasoned goodness. The chicken kebab was nice and juicy. Unfortunately I didn't get dessert because I foolishly got full, but it looked great.
Paprica Grill is one of the top Turkish restaurant in Philadelphia. They serve always delicious and fresh food. The atmosphere is great and they just try to make you feel comfortable when you get in there.

My friend and I had dinner there and we both ordered lentil soup which was just amazing. I stopped myself to order the second one because we wanted to try more dishes. We shared appetizer liver and grilled halloumi cheese, both of them were very tasty. Especially liver was unbelievable. Main course we had chicken shish kebab and lamb beyti which were both really good. Lastly, for the dessert we ordered rice pudding and it was very good too. Their homemade bread was outstanding and it came right from the oven. Their portions were very generous too.

The restaurant was very clean. Their prices were moderate. The service was just great. Servers were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Being Turkish by birth, my experience with the döner/İskender Kebab at this establishment was profoundly disappointing. The true essence of Döner is nowhere close to what they present here. I strongly advise seeking alternatives. The staff, comprised of both the waitress and waiters, are genuinely courteous and pleasant. However, the cuisine leaves much to be desired. This restaurant has garnered excessive acclaim, but in reality, it falls short. Exploring any dining option along Main Street is bound to yield a superior gastronomic experience.
Was looking for Turkish food for brunch around the area and found this gem. Amazing food and service. Haroon treated us well.
This is the best Turkish food I've ever had in New York City. The flavors and the portion are great. I wish they had opened more locations throughout the city and Long Island.

Wicked foolish people. I ordered yam and egg. The description says with tomatoes, pepper and onions. They gave me eggs with no tomatoes and barely any peppers and onions. It was drained in oil and looked disgusting. See pictures below. They are crooks and this place needs to be closed down.
The bread alone was INCREDIBLE. Fresh ingredients, rice was really good, and everything was flavorful without too much salt. I usually never go back to restaurants more than once, but this has been bookmarked under favorites on my google list!!

I got the lamb gyro (doner) plate, gonna eat the other half tomorrow :)
Really nice guys that work there too.

We came here from out of town and had a terrible experience. The waitress did not know any of the food on the menu and once we ordered the food was not what we had expected. The grilled talipia had no taste and they served us cold food. Would not recommend any of the stews as they are not as advertised. The owner is extremely rude and really give Africans a bad name which is quit unfortunate.

While taking out....thier dinner entree quality isn't good. I almost threw up while having chicken sheesh kebab and recently they are charging for same order that I made over phone and always something is missing in it either out of two orders one is missing but was charged is same but never went back to have a row with anyone....now their food quality and items in the entree is very poor. They could just increase prices little bit and give us better quality like 6/7years ago. Very soon there will be nothing in the breakfast besides cucumber and tomato ....take my word for it.

If you have ever been to the Middle East, you know. Be it is labneh (the local cream cheese), zaatar (mix of thyme and Sumak, amazing!) or regular cheese and eggplants, I was transported back to the Middle East in one bite. Plus the Sajj (flatbreads) are very easy to eat. Last but not least, they are LGBTQ+ friendly.

Small portions. $15.41 for a lamb wrap that was just half a meal for me (and I'm a skinny guy). No bueno. Wrap could also be better wrapped to prevent drips. It's a take out counter in a wall so not much of an atmosphere other than the neighborhood it's in.

Authentic Arabic saj wraps - super delicious and I love the decor! We need more Yallas around town.
Had a fantastic chicken gyro on fresh Turkish bread, and a shepherd salad with feta. Both were absolutely incredible. The prices were, well, NYC. The atmosphere is awkward and tight, but well worth it for the really great meal. The service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back.
Delicious Turkish food here - tried lamb and chicken platter with rice, Turkish coffee and tea. Everything was delicious and the cups were very ethnic. Small hole in wall place so call ahead if a bigger group.

Just ordered lunch.
I was craving snails. As a fellow african myself I know the cost of snails on the market. $23 for a snail dish to get three snails, like come on. This is beyond ridiculous, especially when the bag of snails at the african market only costs me $20-$30 and I have about 8-10 snails from medium to large size.

Please do better, this is ridiculous.
Next time, I know what to do if I want snails. I get more snails at a french restaurant for that price.
Delicious down to the last bite! Don't let the hole in the wall location fool you - this place was so good that it left me wishing my stomach was bigger because my mouth was still wanting more!

We had the lamb gyro sandwich and the mixed gyro plate. The sandwich was the best value of the two but the flavor on both was so delicious. Be aware that the portions are large and are more than enough for two hungry adults.

Perhaps the surprise star of the dinner was the piping hot warm bread that they brought out with each entree. It was soft, fluffy, chewy, warm, flavorful and just phenomenal! We enjoyed the bread with hummus and I can't stop thinking about it!

The red and white sauces were perfect compliments to the flavors and added additional depth and goodness. I would go again in a heartbeat.
Just so fantastic. Picked this joint based on reviews and the experience did not disappoint. Fast efficient service. Not the most friendly but could be a cultural thing.

You can eat in or take out. The dining area is cramped and a little dirty. This is not fancy restaurant table service, but it is table service that's sufficient.

I got a tabouli and a mixt gyro sandwich. The gyro reminded me of the doner kebab pita wraps I used to get from the Turkish street vendors in Paris. This was a taste I've been chasing for years and finally found it here.

Homemade bread and high quality meat. So fing delicious omg I am salivating right now as I reflect.

I was also very impressed by the freshness of the tabouli salad and the flavors of the tzatziki and especially hot sauces that came on the side.

What a gem this place is. Will certainly visit again and again when I'm in the area. Definitely visit if you are considering it.

Excellent food ! My friend and I came in for an early lunch on a Sunday and found the place pleasantly quiet. We ordered their red lentil soup- Mercimek (a must try) and Special Mixed grill Chicken. The meat was tender and flavorful and the owner was kind enough to serve us some Turkish tea in beautiful tea sets. For desserts, I ordered Kazandibi - hoping it would be extraordinary however I was not impressed.
The restaurant is small with limited seating and is mostly always crowded in the evening. On another occasion when i popped in during the evening time, I was met with a rude hostess who would not pay any attention to my take out order. If it was not for this incident I would have given it five stars.

I had the opportunity to eat at restaurants in multiple countries that serve middle eastern food and I can say this to you: one of the best I ever had. The tortilla they serve is so fresh and the falafel is so soft in the inside and crunchy at the outside. Unbelievable!!
The chicken is very moist, flavourful and the quantity is a lot! Food was very fresh and chicken kebabs were cooked on demand as it took 20 mins for the food to be ready. The white rice was quite delicious and the jalepeno pepper was very hot!!
I was not expecting the chicken sandwich to be big or heavy, but I was wrong. It was filled with all the veggies and chicken, and very delicious. This place doesn't look much from outside, but go in, and order a meal and you won't be disappointed!

Everything on the menu is good and the kitchen is clean. This is the place to go if you don't want to cook but still want some home cooked food. Their soups are delicious, and I feel like the chicken soup brings you back to life. They have some really good bread that is always warm. I don't usually like salmon, but here they make it the best. They usually have different options, but they will always have good food. When you go here, you feel like you are at your Turkish aunties house.

This was and perhaps still is one of our fave Turkish place to go to. Over the years, the prices has gone up 20-30% at least… Which makes this place the most expensive Mediterranean resto in the area!

The positive:
I’ve always enjoyed the complimentary small bites they start you off with.
The service is usually great if you get the right server.
The food comes quick most times and almost every dish is delicious.
The place has a good decor and good spot for a date.

The bad:
- The chicken kabab is not as juicy as other places
- The overpriced menu. They can def do better with pricing.

Try saksura for appetizer and mixed grill for entree.
A hole in the wall but flavors and quality of food is not a joke. It matches the Turkey I know and better than many starred Turkish joints. The Adana kababs are flattish and just very exquisite, the bread superb. Wish they had Bulgur wheat instead of the rice. Amazing food.

Food is good
The usual Pakistani style restaurant which you find in NYC
They usually microwave the food to heat it up
But Hussain is a honest guy he told me that the food is not fresh and they make it the day before
I highly appreciate the honesty of the restaurant owner Hussain.

My suggestion for those customers who don't know what Pakistani food is can try the food at this restaurant and go with their platter options so you get to taste the meat and vegetarian dishes.

Will visit again to review other food items

Perfect for those who don't know how to cook or are visiting Bronx, NYC for a short period.

Superb! Absolutely wonderful! My husband enjoyed his birthday dinner thoroughly; the only thing better would be an actual trip to Turkey ! The waitress was excellent! Attentive kind quick and on point from the time we walked in until the time we left. The owner was also very involved and caring. You can tell this is a labor of love. It's halal which is always a plus and we would recommend every dish we tried. The decor is beautiful, and clean. The dumplings were light and filled with beef and lamb topped with delicate flavors of lemon and herb . The Mediterranean salad was phenomenal and we ate it soo fast we forgot pics. The Borek was perfectly filled and fried but not too greasy. Our mixed platter had everything you could ask for without skipping any of our favorites. My favorite was the lamb chop ! We finished with a dessert kunefe and coffee . It was all delightful and we will return. God willing

Unassuming place.
High prices for what's delivered.

Hummus was bland.
Salad was bagged lettuce and dressing.
I heard the guy microwaving everything.

Soup and tea had good flavors.

Would not return.
Ive been to tons of Turkish restaurants all over the country and also to Turkey!
Been very disappointed with this place. The service was super slow and the wait staff was not attentive ( empty water glasses all the time ) the place was not that busy but there was a good wait before the food comes out! They served a complimentary lettuce wrap appetizer and drink which was a very nice gesture. The food quality was way below average, super greasy, and very overpriced for this quality & portion size ( compare to other similar restaurants in the area they really need some serious improvements ) 2-3 stars

I love this little hole in the wall for great food at a cheap price. The first time I came here, they missed my order and when they realized how long I had been waiting, apologized profusely and gave me a free drink. I didn't mind because the food was SO good and well worth the wait. I recently tried the falafel wrap which was delicious, crispy and light. The wrap wasn't too filling so it's perfect for a light lunch. Love the staff here, you can really see how much they enjoy sharing their food and culture with the community.

Very limited street parking in this area; you will likely have to park in the more neighborhood-y area and walk a bit. Not too far from the light rail though!

This is by miles one of the best middle eastern / Lebanese food I have had outside the middle east. I just got back from Lebanon a month ago and was really struck by how fresh, flavourful and true to taste the food was here! We came back here 3 times in our 2 day visit to Seattle, I’m honestly very impressed by the owner’s perfection of recipes, Taylor’s place is a must if you are visiting Seattle and you enjoy middle eastern food. The owner herself was amazingly warm, friendly and hospitable like the culture of the food. We can’t wait to come back and try the entire menu! Wish we had access to this quality of food at home in Vancouver. Thanks Taylor and team, we will be back!

Friendly enough service but could definitely be improved. Also, I ended up getting severe food poisoning after eating there. I have eaten at many different Nigerian restaurants and never have I had food poisoning until them. I think they need to be careful with how food is prepared and make sure they are following hygiene protocols. Also, some of their dishes are overpriced for what they offer. Great decor though. Gave me nostalgia seeing the strategically placed danfo in the restaurant. Nice touch.

The food is absolutely amazing. The staff were highly attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was well crafted and beautifully made. Every dish was worth ordering. The pistachio baklava and Turkish coffee was perfect to finish the meal. Highly highly recommend, and I will return.

Delicious, fresh food, and fast! I ordered the koobideh kebab and it was served piping hot. The kebab was tender and ever-so-slightly charred, absolutely perfect. Served alongside was an enormous amount of perfectly cooked long-grain rice. The service was great and the food was affordably priced for the large portions- I will definitely be returning here!

The owner is super welcoming. It felt like we were having dinner at our aunt and uncle’s place. The chicken barg and the beef koobideh were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. The pot of tea also hit the spot.

They do a great job of observing social distancing keeping you and themselves protected by wearing face masks and face shield.

Friendly and attentive service. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. I loved everything I got. The roll borak were the underdog, despite being fried they were right and had a distinct flavor. Charming retro Midtown atmosphere. Good for large and small groups, though it gets loud when it's full.

Exceptional Middle Eastern food. This is coming from a Syrian. I appreciate the small family-owned feel.

Recommendations: Sherazi salad! It tastes just like Syrian salad, just with a smaller dice. They perfected the lemon juice and olive oil dressing.

The eggplant and egg dish...no words...
