So, five stars for service at this restaurant. Really give them credit for it.
But, the food/price, not so much.
For the price you are paying, you get very little meat to go with the meal - instead they fill up your plate with a lot of rice to cover for it. Good rice, albeit, but when you are paying 20-30 dollars a plate, and there is two smallish pieces of chicken on there (that were dry to me, but the taste was on), or close to 30 dollars a plate for shrimp, and there are literally 10 smallish shrimp on there, that's when I pass.
So, just be aware of that. If that doesn't bother you, do not let it stop you from coming here, as it is a solid place. Personally, I am not paying that price for what I got.

Never disappoints such a great place highly recommend their large platters and kanafe. Really love the whole interior and their decorations the vibes in this place is really nice. And I love the bright tents they have for dinning in. Their lentil soup appetizer was also delicous.
Fantastic food, great service and a must visit place if you love Middle Eastern food. I've been here multiple times including for an Iftaar buffet. Each time food and service was top notch
I haven't visited in 6yrs but I was quickly reassured that nothing has changed.
The smells welcome you as you enter and are greeted with warm fresh and absolutely delicious bread. The food is served in large portions with friendly customer service.
Our favorites this visit were the grilled chicken wings and chicken toshka.
Both were extremely fresh, the chicken was cooked to perfection with the right flavor. The Toshka has a delicious garlic sauce that took it over the top of the flavor scale.
For the mains we ordered the platters which were just as delicious as the pictures show.
It took me 6yrs to return but I won't let that happen again.

Amazing and delicious place to go to. The hummus was very creamy, and their kebab platters were fulfilling. Their falafel were warm with a crunchy exterior but soft interior. I enjoyed my meal with Turkish coffee at the end. Will definitely come back again!
Our server was super nice and friendly. He explained to my friend the background and what the different items that we had ordered were. The fries were delicious and crunchy! We had also gotten the appetizer sampler platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, feta, falafel and stuffed grape leaves. All the food was sooo good and I was so full I ended taking half of my falafel wrap home!
Al Bawadi Restaurant in Bridgeview, IL is highly recommend. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. The Bawadi Wings are cooked to perfection over a wood fire, and the aroma of the wood is simply intoxicating.
The lamb shish kabob is also very good, and the cubes of meat are nice and tender. To top it all off, the tall giant host old guy in traditional outfit offered me coffee as I was leaving, and it was a delightful way to end the meal.
The coffee was served in a tiny cup and had a cardamom flavor that was both refreshing and flavorful. I will definitely be back to Al Bawadi Restaurant soon!
