I never write reviews but felt that I really had to share my amazing experience here. The food was so delicious and so flavorful! The restaurant is furnished beautifully and it’s very clean and beautiful. Vishal was our server and he was very attentive and had great recommendations! They have 5 levels of spice level to accommodate anyone. This food it truly authentic and reminded me of my trip to Goa, India so much! This is the second time to this restaurant and it was great! Definitely will be back!
Oh my goodness this place is so yummy!!
Tonight is my second time coming and the food is just as yummy as I remembered. And the staff is so generous and friendly. I love ordering the chicken tikka Marsala and garlic naan. It’s so comforting. And always full of flavor. I love this restaurant so much. You guys have a great business here. The environment is clean and fancy. I was also given a free drink and the staff is very personable !!❤️❤️
Outstanding service, excellent food. We were craving for Indian food. Since we were by the area we decided to stop by this restaurant. No regrets at all. The food is totally worth the price. Mango lasi is a must try. Loved this place . We were told that there is also buffet at lunch time! Def will come back again.
We saw an ad about a buffet style lunch and we decided to give it a try. I never know what to order at Indian restaurants. This was a great way to sample different dishes. And it was only 18.99 per person. We enjoyed the selection and the restaurant.

Wowie. The staff were the nicest humans ever. The host was such a delight and got us in early. Then there was the server, aka my future best friend. Food was 10/10. They have vegan options and gluten free bread! Setting the standard of how dinning out should be, not just for the Midwest but nationally.
Best Indian restaurant in the valley! It had been a while since I had been to Himalayan Kitchen after trying other places. I can confirm Himalayan Kitchen is the best of all. Nice staff, good atmosphere, GREAT FOOD. Take out is good but if you have the chance dine-in and get the whole experience.
Phenomenal food! Great service and the place is extremely clean. They can make it mild if you can't handle spice like myself. Lots of options and fairly priced.
We went here with some family friends. It was excellent! I enjoyed the vegetable momos, mushroom Saag, and chau chau noodles. Others really loved the goat and chicken dishes!
First time here. We are big fans of Indian food so we were excited to try this place. I loved the atmosphere- modern and clean. We were there when it was still light out but looks like it would be inviting at night. The smell of the food was amazing. Our server Vishal was very attentive and came over right away. I ordered the Chana masala mild and my husband ordered butter chicken, medium. I will say the Chana masala was still hot to me. I asked for raita to cool off the spice and then Vishal came over and gave me a mango lassi to help. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Delicious, everything is full of unique flavors!

We ordered garlic cheese naan, sweet naan, chicken coconut curry, chili, garlic goat curry and the malai chicken—my fave! The owner was personable and kind and our waiter made sure we were taken care of. If you haven’t tried this place—you need to!
ambience is very nice, food was tasty, service was ok. you could tell they were short staffed & all working very hard but because of this, service was slow. the plain + garlic naan was sooo delicious & i was very much a fan of the kadai mushroom entree.
My first visit here to Akshaya Patra and the food was fabulous! Best chicken Marsala I have had in a long time. And the chai Marsala is very warming and tasty. The owner gave us these breath aromatics after dinner pictured here. Service was excellent! Will be back again.
Service was excellent and they were very accommodating to us. We ordered three appetizers and all three were amazing. Main paneer dishes were extremely tasty and the new restaurant is noticeably more upscale than the previous one. The food was very high quality and not super oily. Akshaya Patra even surpassed the quality offered from the previous restaurant in the same location. We will surely be returning!
This restaurant absolutely deserves 5 stars. The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible. The customer service is amazing. The people who work here obviously really care about making it a wonderful experience. I had the lunch buffet 11-2:30, (they have a menu for dinner), which allowed me to test out quite a few dishes, and I can honestly say they were all delicious. It's fragrant with intricate flavors that are incredible. The spiciness was a minimum, which meant I could enjoy everything freely. It was hard not to eat way more than I should. I am planning on returning.
My fiance and I are vegetarian and live in Raleigh, but this is by FAR our favorite indian/nepali place in the triangle. The food is always fresh, packed with flavor, and delicious. You won't be disappointed!
It's such a wonderful restaurant! The food was AMAZING, I've never had better butter chicken! We ate from the Buffet, and Narayan, in particular, was so helpful! He asked us often whether we needed anything, and we hardly ever had to get up and go to the buffet because he was so helpful and brought us so much good food! The food was flavorful and delicious, and the service was so kind and friendly! It's nice to see staff that actually like people, and we felt very welcome here. They treated us like guests in their own home! Will come back again!

A burst of amazing flavors and new approaches to traditional Indian favorites. We enjoyed the pineapple salad, chicken tika, paneer, green beans and bread. All tasted amazing and though they are small plates, they are so satisfying! It’s super dark inside, lending to an air of mystery. We sat in the lounge area - it felt very private and chill.
An excellent place to eat if you have that Indian or Neapolitan taste. There food is made to order so call in and order or prepare to wait, wait is not bad though. Food is a bit more on the pricey side but it's definitely worth the money. Overall a wonderful place to stop at.

Ive dined in once and done a take out when i was visiting San Antonio. Food is good. Not too spicy, just right. Cant complain. If you are in on North Indian food, I suggest you try this place out and you will not regret it. Definitely a must try.
From the beginning, everything was amazing. We were warmly greeted when walking in and immediately helped. We had a larger party (8 people) and they immediately put two tables together. The meal was delicious, and while we had a varied meal and everything was great, I highly recommend the sweet naan bread and pineapple chicken. That was my favorite. They were very attentive and made sure everything was good. At the end they treated us with a delicious mango pudding. A great place to bring your family and friends. Also Narayan was the main person who helped us, he was very warm and friendly, so glad to have met him.
The food was fresh, aromatic and delicious! My favorite Indian restaurant by far.
The food was phenomenal! Excellent flavors and the wait staff was incredibly nice (if a bit slow). Nice atmosphere. We'll be back.
Stopped in here for lunch after they changed ownership and remodeled. The decor and atmosphere is greatly improved and the service was excellent with very attentive staff.

The food is flavorful and fresh and the portion sizes are plentiful. I will definitely return.

Vegetarian food was good but the Mutton boti kabab masala wasn't that good as it lacked the flavors. Other than that, the service is top notch and the ambience was great
Vishal and the lady server (sorry forgot her name) were amazing. Food tasted great, beautiful ambience, even the restrooms were quite clean. Didn’t have to wait long to get the food. Thanks for the awesome experience!

I loved everything from here! I love Indian food. My boyfriend took me here, and for his first time trying Indian cuisine !!! The chicken masala was my absolute favorite and I love their lamb naan, I fell in love with it. The owners are very sweet people and the food is absolutely amazing! I know I will definitely be coming back to my favorite Indian restaurant. I’m not sure about my boyfriend, he said he loved it ? so we will see lol

Owner is a great guy! Food and service are fantastic. What a deal and they have it all in the buffet on a rotating schedule (lamb, goat, shrimp, vegetarian; not to mention good naan).

We had the best flavourful food in Bar Harbor. Loved the food, Ambience and the staff was amazing. Lobster Tandoori was my favourite. Also loved the Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken and vegetable pakoda. Will definitely recommend it to everyone.
First off I am not familiar with Indian Cuisine. I did not have to be. I went there by request from my daughters and we all sampled something different. Vishal was our guest host and I ordered Chicken tikka (2 on the 1-5 hot scale) it was perfect the flavors were amazing and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Baby A had Gongura chicken ( 3 on the scale ) served with Basmati rice, again chicken perfectly cooked, flavors were amazing. 3 as expected was noticeably hotter than mine. Baby B ordered Chicken Hyderabadi, also served with basmati rice (1 on the scale ) again chicken perfectly cooked and flavors were great.
Went out for a lunch Buffay on a Sunday afternoon and came out completely disappointed. Cost cutting by paper plates and plastic silverware with no serve staff! Half of the Buffet items were empty pans, and the remaining half were cold, and tasteless. Couple of them may be good, but super spicy all in all not worth it especially for the price of 17.99. Are the best they should price 9.99!
I went to this place yesterday in an attempt to try Indian cuisine for the first time, as I left with my order I noticed I had a burned piece of naan bread I took it back to the store and had to wait 20 minutes for them to replace the bread as I got home I started to eat and noticed there was hair in my rice and bread and I took my order back to the restaurant the worker didn’t attempt to compensate me but instead stared at me as if she didn’t understand what I said. She was very dismissive about compensating my order it’s disgusting to eat food along with someone else’s hair i am a very unhappy customer $20 down the drain
Indian and Nepali-inspired menu served in a decorative and intimate setting. Tantalizing spices and sauces. Ask to select your level of heat tolerance. Momos are a favorite and include 12 dumplings. Many vegan and vegetarian opinions. Try a Taj Mahal lager and the Naan bread basket for starters. Worthy of repeat visits to experience the many menu flavors.

Really tasty food. Got the lamb curry, just be warned the curry portion size is a bit small. Also got the dumplings in soup which is a speciality for this type of cuisine. Got the vegetable filling which had a slightly bitter taste from the herbs so it’s likely not for everyone. Soup was essentially a cream tomato sauce. Overall was good.

I’ve ordered from here two times a week for almost an entire summer. The food quality is great and the location makes it super convenient! I like most of their paneer dishes on medium spice levels and their portion sizes are just right. Prices are v good as well, especially on doordash. I do recommend!!

Well I'm a newbie when it comes to Indian food, so I figured for my first go, I'd check out a buffet because I honestly had no idea what I would like. This establishment actually came recommend by a friend, so I figured what the heck why not.

Much to my surprise, everything was labeled so that my white self knew what everything was - much appreciated!!! I tried pretty much everything, and got seconds too. The staff were professional and polite, the tea was good, the food was delicious, the music wasn't too loud...honestly, everything was great. I'd definitely go back, and would absolutely recommend!

I've attached two pictures (notice the clean plate..super good stuff). Try the Veg. Samosa, because that was super good!
We have only ever ordered take out here, and the food is great. Definitely 5 stars, however it isn't consistent. Sometimes it is just good. Which is still fine, but that is the reason I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5.
Restrooms walls n floor filthy; flies in dining room; dirty floors walls n windows in dining area; serve drink in plastic cups; silverware bent; horrible service almost non-existent!!! I can only imagine what kitchen was like. Very disappointed. Naan bread was very good. Felt unwelcome n the place felt unclean.

Had a very nice meal here and it was a nice change of pace from the generic cookie cutter Bar Harbor restaurants. Surprisingly good quality that rivaled food I've had back in NYC. Menu had a large assortment of options and everyone was able to try something new. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly and was fresh. We were a group of 5 and sat together in the back patio so I'm guessing that affected the overall service (just getting napkins and waters/beer refilled). Regardless we still had a great meal and will be returning.
(Expect to pay $15-20 per person)
We are traveling and stopped here for lunch. We had a toddler with us whom they immediately began doting over. We ordered all the clay oven chicken options. They were TO DIE for! Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and awesome people!

Delicious food here! Only problem I have is when Me and My Family came in to eat it seems like We we're a new human species. 4 older ladies were sitting in front and they NEVER took their eyes off of Us. At the buffet and a couple of workers came from the back and just stared. Wasn't replenishing the buffet or doing anything but standing there looking at me and my Family while We prepare Our plates. Very uneasy feeling. Good thing We have ordered the buffet instead of personal orders. The god of clean the table off was hovering around and kept staring at My Wife. She felt creeped out. Again the food was delicious but I'm not sure I can return when all eyes are on me and my family trying to eat

Ive been to India twice. This food is delicious! A very nice meal. Good service. Quiet atmosphere. Muni Parking lot across the street. Good choice among the many little restaurants in the BH area.
Awesome food. Hemanth was an excellent host. Very attentive and helpful with menu items. We were unable to get cocktails, because the bartender didn't show, so, that was a bummer. The menu is extensive. A lot of choices. Love the decor and atmosphere. All in all, an excellent dining experience.
Good dosa taste. Biryani also good

Biryani is not biryani its pulao. Chicken Karahi is basically chicken tossed in butter chicken gravy. Chai is also not good. I just cant stand why this restaurant even exists.

We went for Biryani and Chicken Karachi .
Apparently Biryani was just Chicken with Rice ( Taste was fine but it was not Biryani)
Chicken Karahi was just chicken Boneless curry with no Taste. May be if they can YouTube and see how to Make chicken Karahi they might can attract more customers.

Atmosphere and cleaned was also disappointment

We ate here while visiting San Antonio and definitely enjoyed the experience! My family got lamb korma, chicken tandoori, chicken korma, garlic and regular naan, and daal. My cousin liked the lamb korma, and we all loved the chicken tandoori as well as the daal. We also got both regular and masala chai, which were both really good! They also offered refills for both chais, which was a nice surprise. We got kheer for dessert, which was okay. Loved their mango lassi, though! They also had a buffet, which had good variety and also looked good. Service was also great. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Excellent food and very friendly owners/waitstaff here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

For anyone wondering about the somewhat low ratings on Google Maps: I was a little skeptical myself, but ultimately after eating here I think it comes down to this: Bar Harbor attracts people from all over with so many different expectations of what "authentic" Indian food is, and it's just not possible to please everyone. We've eaten at plenty of Indian places along the East coast with all types of styles and recipes - I'd say this one is as good as any. :)

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we wanted a memorable evening...Boy this place did not disappoint. In fact we are so glad we chose this place!!! We loved the food, every one of the dish we ordered was bursting with flavors, just the right spice level, just the right temperature and just the right portion!!! Their cocktails are an interesting combination of flavors, we tried their Violets Juniper, Verbena Root. The service was fantastic. Friendly staff. Half way into our meal lo and behold, we were greeted by the owner Douglas Katz himself!!! We had a great conversation with him, he seems such a nice person!! This whole evening ended up being so special, so memorable, just as we had hoped for!!! Thank you Amba!!

Went in on a Friday night in central square and probably should have known the place wasn’t that good when it was just us and another small group of 3.

For the price, food portions were small and honestly just not very good in taste. We tried some curries and biryanis. The curries were alright but the biryanis were honestly quick mediocre. Service was slow and the waitstaff was pretty disinterested. It’s really not cheap for the portions and really wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for good Indian food.

Hip NYC restaurant vibes in Ohio City! Cool vibes & ambiance. Loved the menu being all shareable! You get to try everything, this was great. Ordered a bunch of different things and enjoyed every bite!

Our favorites were definitely the roasted eggplant and the crispy puri! Most of the menu is vegan and gluten free. Delicious!
The variety of options available was mind-blowing, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. The dosas, in particular, were outstanding, and the numerous options left me spoiled for choice. The combo meal was the perfect way to sample different tiffins, and the service was impeccable despite the crowded environment during breakfast hours. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable breakfast experience!
I recommend visiting Amaravathi for their Poori and Kezangu! However, the groundnut chutney is quite spicy. The Idly was not up to my expectations as it was sour. The Sambar was average. The Medhu Vada was okay. The ambience of the restaurant is below average and looks dull. On a positive note, the service provided was good. Considering my experience, I might not choose to visit again!

Honest review as per July 2023 standards.

I’ve been visiting this place since Jan 2020.
Since then the food quality, atmosphere, staff, deliveries, order turn around time, etc everything has changed and honestly become worst.

The owner doesn’t care about the customers no more. Back in 2020 & 2021 this place had the highest cliental. From then, I think owner handed the management to younger people and they are not professional nor they are interested in doing their job. It seems obvious on their faces that they don’t like working there.

But anyways here are the key points:

Food quality dropped.
Coffee and Tea are good. Not best but good.
Environment is not clean.
Crowd who comes nowadays are bums.
Location is accessible.
Handicapped accessible.
Free Parking available.

BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER!
I went three days in a row with my best friend of 7 years. Her and I were amazed by how delicious and flavorful the food was. We didn't want to go anywhere else! As a vegetarian it's very difficult to find many options, however, at Indian Royal, they didn't fail to give me many incredible vegetarian options. I had the vegetable curry and my friend had the butter chicken, which was full of flavor! We also had some delicious garlic naan bread and cheese garlic naan bread. Lastly, we shared some samosas, which are to die for! I would also like to mention this business is filled with a kind and generous staff. I love it here and I recommend this place for people wanting some delicious comfort food in bar harbor! 🫶 😆
Combo 1 and Combo 2 purchases covered almost all the Indian breakfast items sold here except pesarattu (Green Moong Dosa) if you are going as a group of 2 or more definitely order multiple combos and share. Worth your bucks to grab food here.
Amazing affordable South Indian food! Loved the tea with the combo platter. The only drawback was the cleanliness. Definitely recommend you guys to go and enjoy! I will try their full course next time.

Please stay Away from this restaurant.
Pathetic ambience and pathetic food. The used chef’s clothes are Hanged on the hanger near eating table.
The food is more than pathetic. My whole family got Timmy’s Che after eating the food. All items were pathetic. If there is any negative stars or zero star I could have given that. Don’t go on positive reviews seems to be purchased in this AI era. See the veg platter pic for your reference. All burnt up and non edible. If you want to have a good day and good don’t go here.
We got Uber eats from here tonight and it was sooooooo good! So glad we found this place. We ordered because of the free tikka masala promo. We loved the tika, butter chicken, chili shrimp and naan. We will def order here again.
This was my first experience. I ordered online for pickup. After picking up, I was halfway home when they called me to say they forgot to give me part of my order. So why 5 stars? Because what restaurant calls someone to admit they made a mistake? We are all human. We all make mistakes. It's how we respond to those mistakes which brings out our true character.

I get back to the restaurant and it's lighting and pouring rain and the owner comes outside to hand me my food through the car window. The food was incredible, best Nepali I've ever had. The people were genuine. 5 stars all day long. Highly recommend!
I've always gotten take out and it is delicious every single time! Their Chole Masala and Aloo Chole is to top tier! I've tried several chicken dishes and those were all good too! Their paneer dishes are great also. Honestly every dish I've tried from them has been good and filling!
I ordered Jr platter Sunday-The butter chicken, chicken 65 the dry chicken was dumped on the sauce it was bland and garden salad was not fresh. For the biryani no curry or yogurt was given as I have asked if everything was in there they said yes. I drove an hour to pick the food. The food was good when we ordered previously. It was disappointing this time.

This was a really cool restaurant! I ordered the mild Chicken Mahkni (Butter chicken) and it was so creamy and rich in flavor!
The Mango Lassi was very smooth and went great with the slight spice in the food!
I’m very sensitive to spice but I found mild to be good. If you are sensitive I would recommend getting Lassi to go with it to counter the spice in your mouth. Overall good experience!
The Paradise Special Chicken Biryani was excellent. Rice was delicately flavored and perfectly cooked. The slight crunchiness of the chicken gave the dish a fun texture with each bite. Accompanying raita was really good and offset the biryani nicely. We ordered mild and the spice level was just right for us. A little heat, but not overpowering.
Serving size is very generous - plenty to carry home and enjoy again.
The restaurant decor is clean and uncluttered. Our server, Meghanala was very pleasant and helpful.

The food at the restaurant was excellent. I like the surroundings and the spot as well. The people over there were helpful and polite. I had the Chicken Korma which was completely different from anything I'd ever had before, as well as the Naan Bread was also delicious!! Everything was amazing. I would like to request that you visit this location while in Bar Harbor. Overall, I rate them 5 stars. They deserve it.

I wish I could give them -100. First of all there not even authentic Indian food. Maybe Nepal or something. Just check the recipe on the photo you will see how much over priced it is. And then food quality is nasty. Completely disappointed.
I ordered the Neelgiri korma woth chicken, samosas, garlic naan and a mango lassi through doordash and could not come here to review it fast enough! Absolutely fantastic! It was so flavorful and the yogurt drink really balanced the heat! 10/10 would recommend!
This is the best Indian food I've had. I'm traveling from California and its even better than any place I've eaten there.
I love that you can choose your spice level from 1-5. The staff are very kind and efficient. RahuI was my server and he got my order just right and the spice level was perfect. I couldn't recommend Paradise more highly. It truly is paradise.
Thank you.

Food and service were both amazing. We ordered the chicken pakodas and chicken Momo's as appetizers. Was really tasty. Nice vibe and great decor. The owner checked on us multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. Would go there again.
The most dirty restaurant I have ever done a dine in. Dirty trash, flies all around, water campers with lot of dirt. If a health inspector do a survey they will be permanently shut.

Coming to food I have ordered idly vada samosa and masala vada mini dosa combo and a Mysore masala dosa. Everything was cold and dosa was flimsy coming out of the poor quality disposable table in a dine in restaurant.
They have served Sambhar from a hot pot which was not even hot and the utensils was dirty and exposed to flies.

We had an incredible dining experience at Paradise Indian restaurant. This establishment truly deserves five stars for their outstanding food and service. The freshness and deliciousness of the dishes were beyond compare. The appetizers were mouthwatering, and the biryani was exceptionally tasty.

The superb service offered by Rishitha, Teja, and Venu genuinely distinguished this restaurant for us. They were not only friendly but also went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They provided excellent recommendations for dishes, adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Their exceptional service warrants recognition.

Overall, Paradise restaurant is undoubtedly the best in the Cleveland area. If you're looking for a delightful culinary experience with fresh and flavorful food, coupled with outstanding service, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way!

We love it here!!!!!! CLOSED ON MONDAYS.

I have been coming here for years and I have NEVER caught them slacking. The buffet is always on point! Staff are quick to keep it stocked and the food hot. I mostly admire the passion and flavor put into every entree at the buffet. I feel like most buffets the food is made in a rush and sometimes can lack flavor, but not here. The food is always delicious!

What an absolutely incredible meal! We, admittedly, over-ordered but we just wanted to try everything! Everything we had was amazing. The wine list is incredible and pairs with the food really well. Cocktails were awesome. The lighting is sparse, but in a good way. Ambiance is lovely. We had a great time.
The food is really really good, which is why we wanted to try dining in after usually just doing delivery. The server was very friendly, but unfortunately completely inattentive. I had to track him down twice in the other room for more rice and to pay the check. The tap water also smelled a little funny, which means we probably should have paid for water, I'm just not used to doing that. We'll probably be back at some point, but the dining in experience was a little bit of a let down.

Very nice, modern Indian restaurant in Ohio City. It is a small plates, shareable Indian food concept which is great for trying a number of dishes. All the food was great. Cocktails were all creative and delicious. Service was nice, ate at the bar. Very attentive. Decor and ambience felt like a modern, hip NYC restaurant...maybe only complaint was that music was a little too loud. There is a restaurant area and a bar area. Food available at the bar, but not all the bar tables are big enough to hold food. Was pretty busy on a Saturday night around 8pm...needed to wait a little to get a seat at the bar.

Will definitely be back!

Some of the food items are great while some of them tastes so bad. Also, the place kind of stinks so I have only had take outs so far. Also, the customer service needs to be improved since the guy who handed over the food was visibly upset and uninterested.
So I’ve saw all the positive reviews and beautiful images from this place and been wanting to try some authentic Indian food. I absolutely loved my entire order. I did an Uber eats order because it was very chilly outside and I wanted to stay in. Everything came super fresh, very delicious and so savory with nice kick of heat. I ordered butter chicken, white rice , 2 sides of Naan ( butter as the topping) and a simple Lipton tea . The flavor from the butter chicken alone is absolutely awesome. It’s worth the money 100%. I’ll be dining in very soon. I love it . Very happy!
I love Indian food, but where I live there aren’t many options. I took a day trip with my friend to Cleveland and we happened to drive past Indian Delight. We decided to go have lunch there and…it was the best Indian food I have ever had in my life. I got paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, and samosas. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! And the service was really great. Everyone was very friendly. High recommend.

Great authentic Indian buffet. It was just $16. The taste was so good.
The Samosa was the best thing. Biryani was too spicy for medium. I had to pick through the rice for bones. The rice was good and perfectly made. I wasn't offered any utensils as requested. I would definitely come back to see my other options. This was a delivery from UberEATS.

One of the best restaurants around Boston area. The food tastes very delicious and flavorful with Authentic Indian taste. The staff is very welcoming and the owner’s hospitality is the best. The lunch buffet comes with a lot of options and resonable price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food: I ordered the Lamb madras and this wasn't your conventional lamb curry, it had a very unique twist to it's taste. The Naan was spot on . Rating: 4/5

Service: Great service and the staff members were remarkably polite and welcoming. Rating: 5/5

Atmosphere: Small restaurant with a tight seating arrangement, however everything is well placed. Rating: 3/5

Overall rating: 4/5

I have heard so much hype about Amba so my friend and I had to check it out. All the hype is legitimate! The Indian fusion food was superb and service was excellent. Try the warmed cashews and warmed spinach dip for starters and kulfi for dessert! The servers all help one another out bringing out food and tending to needs. It was rather dark in there so I used my phone 🔦 to read the menu and to see what was on the table. The patio is a nice option! Get there early to ensure a seat or be prepared to wait a while for a seat. Parking is tight and paid parking in the Church Street parking garage is sketchy - be sure to take a screenshot as proof you paid for parking.

The waitresses were very attentive and kind. This is a buffet so whatever they are serving you have an option of like 10 different things, naan 🫓 (not cheese naan) 2 different types of rice and it was all tasty. I would definitely come back. I read another review that said that they found roaches in the food. That was a few months ago though so hopefully they fired some people, hired some people and set some traps lol. It was $35 for me and my boyfriend to eat.

The Lamb Tikka Masala was wonderful—a perfect balance of impeccably-textured rice and lamb done to perfection. I would have personally preferred the Garlic Naan to taste more strongly of garlic, and ideally be both warmer and more risen (fluffier). Other dishes are clearly microwaved or reheated, and some are surprisingly lacking in quantity.

On the plus side, service staff were friendly and professional. The staff were also knowledgeable about the cuisine, and went out of their way to accommodate other guests.

Service varies visit-to-visit. I've had the food come out quickly in the past, but also more recently have had dishes served over a 20-minute span (and almost everyone waiting 5-10 minutes, including for pickup).

However, the atmosphere was lacking with the otherwise comfortable environment being interrupted by the clear sounds of cooking & cleaning, and blaring television instead of fitting music. Cleanliness of the general area, dishes, and utensils could be improved.

Although I haven't tried it yet, Royal Punjab offers a competitively-priced (read: rare find) lunch buffet for $9.95.

Edit: Revised above to account for subsequent visit(s) and adjusted star rating.
Use to be better but now the staff isn't friendly and the food comes out way to slow. .they need to move faster and hire some better people.

Response to owner : problem is still happening 6 months later. Actually has got worse and slower. I am a delivery driver and come here multiple times a week and it's just awful. So Pitifully slow, I find myself canceling over the half the orders I take from here or just not coming at all. I do somewhere between 25 to 30 deliveries a day for the restaurants in the area and this is by far the slowest and worst one, it's embarrassing. If 4 of those 25 to 30 restaurants make me wait 15 minutes a piece I lose an hours worth of pay. The delivery orders need to be done separately and have priority. The delivery drivers need to and MUST simply pick up the order and go OR , as close to that as possible. I know they may be some wait time in the business I'm in and I understand that but we need to minimize that as much as possible to 3-5 minutes or not at all. Please please please do something to improve as my livelihood depends on the restaurants being organized and efficient.
My order #98 - Bezwada Special Chicken Biryani was flavorful, spicy, and delicious 😋. I never order anything without the tasty Garlic Naan bread. A must have is also the Mango Lasse 🥭 - just the right amount of sweet w/creamy mango goodness. Yummy
Best Indian breakfast in and around the Dallas area. Whatever you order, you will be satisfied and leave the restaurant finger licking. I love puri and dosas the most. The peanut chutney is the best, which makes you come back again and again. Ghee Karam idly and mysore masala dosa are also famous. The only thing that needs improvement is the ambiance. One can clearly understand that the furniture has been there from the start of the restaurant, If that can be improved, this will be a perfect place for Indian tiffins to go for.

Typical budget Indian place that specializes in delivery food.
I used to like getting deliveries from this place, and their biryanis were my favorites. Regardless of the meat I chose, all the biryanis I tried were great, but I later realized that the savory taste from the biryanis was too good to be based solely on the natural ingredients. I’m not sure if they actually use a lot of flavor enhancers, but a lot of the items I’ve tried had prominent artificial flavors. I also learned that the place isn’t very hygienic and stopped getting takeouts from them. Nevertheless, if you don’t care too much about these issues, this place might still be a decent Indian food option.
So fantastic. I had the jhol momo bowl. So fantastic <3
I have gone back on three different occasions and the food is amazing. My husband and I are vegan, and they always make sure to give us great choices. We tried an eggplant dish, the gobi machurian and the spicy momos - SOOO good!
UPDATE: Tried couple of other items, chicken 65 and chicken chettinad, they were decently ok.
I changed the 4 star to 3 star because I have ordered the pepper lamb from here, may be 3 or 4 times by now because I loved it the first time however I never got the same taste or flavor after that. Now it just feels like a somewhat OKish goat curry labeled as pepper lamb, After trying multiple times and consistently being disappointed, now I stopped ordering pepper lamb from here forever 🛑😓.

This is my first time here. I ordered food delivery for chicken dum biriyani and pepper lamb, OMG it was so spicy and delicious 😋.
I am completely satisfied with the lamb curry and biriyani was also good, not too good but satisfactory. I am saying this because I have had authentic biriyanis from other restaurants which was slightly more tastier also some more flavorful chicken with thick coated gravy on chicken... But, good quantity for the price. I think anybody who loves spicy flavorful food will definitely love this one right here 👇🏻❤️.
I enjoyed really well. Try out soon guys!

Will update, after trying couple of other dishes as well!! Till then bye 👋
I’ve passed by this place many times but never stopped in. I went with a friend the other night and it was a really nice experience. We chose to eat in but you can order take out. You order at the register and pay when you are done eating. You get your own silverware, plate if you want it and napkins. There is also water for free with cups available. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. The food was hot and tasty and was brought out to us the n a tray. You can also get lids, aluminum foil and a bag if you don’t finish everything and you also get free food if you pay with cash. Overall, this place is cute, not expensive and worth a try.
Great mutton biriyani! Very moist and flavorful. When you enter the restaurant, you need to go to a counter and order your food. It is not a full scale, serve you at your table restaurant. But the staff were friendly and we really liked the food. Chicken biriyani ( In my humble opinion Biriyani Pot ,Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ had the best chicken biriyani ) was not the best BUT Mutton Biriyani was clearly a WINNER!!.

UPDATE: I see bunch of one liner, fake reviews about this place! This is still one our fave places!! Gobi Manjurian is so good( the sauce is delicious 🤤 ) so as the Mutton Biriyani!!
