We highly recommend Fielack Electric, an excellent local company for all your electrical needs. We've been using them for several years and have always had great results and positive experiences. Lou is a pleasure to work with, very professional and knowledgeable, and so are all the electricians who have worked at our house. We recently had a couple of old thermostats replaced and everything went smoothly and is working well. Jim and his co-worker arrived on time and did a great job!
Vinny and David were extremely courteous they put face masks on when asked ( I am immune compromised). They put down a mat outside and booties on their feet so not to track anything into my home. Most of all they explained and answered every question asked again and again if I didn't understand. I am having a new panel put because I feel very confident of the work they will do
Today we had Charlton, Andrew and Milton complete some LED lighting for our basement and garage. They were on time, skilled professionals and did a great job. More importantly, the owner Brian worked with my wife and I in resolving his initial estimate and that meant a lot to us. I definitely would use BQ again and recommend them to friends and family.

We contacted Fielack because another vendor could not fix the issues we had with our high hats. Their employees diagnosed and corrected the problem in a minimum of time and I am thrilled with the result. I will contact them again if I need any electrical work done around the house.
Courteous, professional and aim to give the best electrical service and customer service available. I was concerned about the price but quickly realized that you get what you pay for. If you want guys to cut corners and then have to pay for them to come back later you can or you can just use the true professionals that are at BQ Electric and have them identify the source of the problem and have them out to fix the problem once the first time. The good vibes Vinny and Dave have come from the confidence in their abilities and a genuine desire to provide excellence.
I would highly recommend using Fielack Electric for your electrical needs. I used them a few years ago, and couple of weeks ago I was having issues with electric sockets in my home. I called to schedule an appointment, but gentleman name Lou walked me through the issue, and helped me. He took time to help me and saved me money since it was a fixable issue instead of issuing a service call. I really appreciated it, and it is this type of service and honesty that will bring me back to this company in the future.
So glad we called BQ Electric! We lost power to a significant portion of the house while getting window work done and had to find an electrician quick. We saw the reviews and decided to give them a try and they were excellent! They happened to have some people available today and they were able to fix the problem while working around other contractors actively working on the house. Andrew and co got the job done well, kept us informed the whole time, and were really professional. We always felt we had options and understand both short term and long term solutions. Highly recommend!
I had a a dryer that wasn't heating up, got a new dryer over the summer thinking it was a computer system problem (that's what the tech said). Got a new dryer and again I had heating issues with it! No techs were giving me a solution so I decided to call Top Speed Electric to figure out if the problem was an electric one! Kam came through to diagnose the issue, DID MORE than what he was supposed to and was able to pinpoint the problem! He was very knowledgeable and friendly! He answered all my silly questions and had the time to explain what he was doing throughout his stay. He troubleshot every single aspect of the electricity in the apartment until finding the problem. I am very pleased by the work Top Speed Electric did at my apartment, and especially by Kam who was very courteous and professional when doing his work! I would highly recommend this company and especially Kam! What a great guy!
3 Men showed up at 8:00 in the morning to do new 200 amp service. Kevin was the lead Electrician and started all the guys off with different jobs. One guy took care of outside doing all the wiring and taking down old mask and installing new mask. He level everything just perfectly when he hung everything up. I couldn't of been more satisfied. On the inside Kevin did the new panel for 200 amp had to cut the wall for the new panel. He cut it perfectly then pulled out old wires and pulled new wires he did outstanding job. The other guy had to cut in new lights and boxes run wires did very nice job. Then they cleaned up everything vacuumed nothing left outside. Very nice guys all deserved a good tip they didn't leave until 7:00 pm. I would recommend this company for your Electric needs. Robert m
Installed Tesla Charger today (outdoor installation with a charger case). Electricians came were David and Armando. Overall I am happy with the work they done. Professional, clean and fast. Definitely will consider reusing this company for future electric work. Highly recommend!

This company is top notch, the owner Funzy is great , he did a site survey of the work that needed to get done and was very accommodating. The day of the work he sent his team Dominick & Zach to my house they came on time and did an excellent job they were also very accommodating, friendly and had great communication, I would use them in the future for other electrical work.
They did a great job. They are punctual, friendly, flexible, work consistently ( not too many breaks) and you can get an appointment quickly. I will use them again for my electrical work.
I've worked with BQ Electric for many years now and I'd definitely recommend them. When we first moved into our home, it needed a lot of electrical work. I worked with Brian to get the project started. They were able to start work quickly and did I great job. Everything they have done has lasted without issue. It seems they've expanded a bit since then, but they've still consistently provided high quality work through the years. I've called them several times since then for installs or issues and they've always done a great job.
Great service, their team is fast, works hard and is very knowledgable. Our electrician Hoffman did an excellent job and was very nice to work with. I'll work with them again!

I have had issues with other electricians so I was glad to find this company. They give you an explicit estimate regarding the scope of work, my technician was very adamant about making sure I understood what was done or what needed to be done, I feel very satisfied with their work.
There are not enough stars to represent what a pleasure it is to work with Fielack. 20 years ago they upgraded our electric service, and last week we asked them back for another project. From the first call, to scheduling, to the actual work and concluding with the final paperwork on a permit issue, they were responsive, thorough and fairly-priced. Lou, the owner and Steve, the electrician, are the best. Look no further.
Andrew and his team did a great job in upgrading my Mom's electrical service. His leads, Giovanni and Terry were both extremely professional.and did a great job, both inside and out. At the end of the day, they did a greta job in cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

The team at Popkin Electric did an amazing job on my outdoor lighting project. They designed a perfect plan at a reasonable price. They showed up on schedule and installed all of the lighting as designed. A lot of trenching and wiring in tight places was done flawlessly. Absolute Electrical was the 3rd company I called for an estimate on installing an EV car charger. They were by far the most knowledgeable. They provided prompt service and excellent customer service when I had questions, even days after completing the job. Highly recommended!

Vinny and Dave the apprentice did some troubleshooting after living room wall went out. Found outside outlet was damaged and burnt from short circuit due to moisture getting into the socket. Replaced with seal and weather protection cover. All done within the 90 minutes quoted before starting the work. Vinny and Dave were excellent and very professional and friendly. I highly recommend.
We had a ceiling fan replaced by WB Electric. I spoke to Funzy to make an appointment. He said they were very busy and that he would find time to squeeze us in. Within the week we got a phone call that they could do the work. The two gentlemen who came were very neat, professional and personable. Very fair price too. We are thinking of doing future electrical work. WB Electric will be the only place we call.

This is a joint apprenticeship training center (JATC) which by definition is jointly sponsored by IBEW and NECA. Not sure why it is named after Lake County when the county has nothing to do with it.
Jesse and his team upgraded my service from 100 to 300 amp and wired my garage for a home office. Everyone on Jesse's team was extremely nice and respectful of the home and kept everything very clean. He was in and out in just a few days with very neat, detail oriented work. Would definitely use again.

Lacks the knowledge , abilities and skills , does not show up to work, his promises are never kept , project was 6 months over due and when pressed to complete the work they quit . BEWARE
We used Absolute on 2 occasions, once too improve lighting in garage and install outlets. Then again to install our fixtures. They always arrive as scheduled and complete the job professionally. The team that hung the fixtures did an amazing job assmebling them and hanging them a the correct height. They are Covid safe wearing masks and very courtoeus gentleman. Our system was installed 4 years ago for the previous owners (we bought the home a year ago), and when our inverter failed Paul stood behind the warranty and went out of his way to personally deliver the replacement to me on a Saturday. The manufacturer was no longer in business, so he navigated their RMA process and got us a new inverter from another manufacturer. Very happy!
