I love this dance floor because it is easy to pivot on. There’s plenty of space. I’ve taken a couple of Tango classes here, and enjoyed them. It’s about a 8 to 10 minute walk from the Bethesda subway.

Dance on 2 has been one of the best decisions I made in 2023. One of the things that kept me interested in learning how to dance salsa on 2 and also grew my love for it was the friendly and welcoming environment this studio offers. Melanie and Gabriel have created a culture that is rare to find elsewhere. I’m so grateful a coworker referred me to this studio.

Mel & Gabe are absolutely top notch! Dance On 2 gave me and my family the best attention. We joined their beginner class & in no time they even had my 15 year old athlete son dancing! No doubt that they do the same for all that join in on their classes. Love their approach, love the atmosphere and I cant wait to go back.

I absolutely enjoy going to Dance on 2! Gabe and Melanie are amazing Salsa instructors as well as Melissa and Mitch. They are all very professional, fun and they make you feel like family. Dance on 2 has boosted my confidence on the dance floor and I met wonderful people ☺️!

Danceon2 is an amazing place to learn salsa technique, and partnering skills. All of the instructors are incredibly patient and knowledgeable and professional. They break down each pattern in a way that is easy way to understand and implement right away. I’ve been taking classes with them for the past four years and my confidence and salsa skills have grown tremendously. It’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely love everyone at Danceon2. We have so much fun while getting a great workout and practical social dance skills . 💕

Melanie and Gabe are great people and amazing dance teachers. We love taking their salsa classes and learned a ton while doing so. They really focus on technique and break down all the figures to make sure everyone understands how to lead and follow with ease.

Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts has offered me so much as both a dancer and a teacher. The director and other staff or extraordinarily kind and encouraging to all children, making it a perfect place for your child to learn dance. Classes focus not only on dance, but the development of strong, young, independent boys and girls. The studio also offers adult classes for those, like myself, who love to dance in whatever free time they have. Strongly recommend signing up for classes here, even if you or your child has never danced before, as this is an amazing place to start!

Wilmington Conservatory provides a well rounded dance education to students of all ages! As a teacher in the school, I can assure you that the staff takes great care of each growing dancer. The conservatory also prioritizes emotional well-being, which sets it apart and creates the perfect environment for self discovery and growth.

Our daughter LOVES her classes and teachers at the Conservatory. My only regret is not coming there earlier! These last 3 years have impacted my daughters life tremendously and she has matured so much in all areas of life because of the lessons learned through dance and the character building mentorship. We have loved their beautiful and moving performances for many years and we are just grateful to finally be a part of it all. A place of excellence for sure 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This is where you need to go if you are interested in taking your Salsa experience to the next level. Styling is amazing and it’s taught at the same time you learn turn patterns that can be used social dancing. Gabe takes the time to show guys how to lead properly by adjusting hands/ feet , while Melanie teaches us how to follow and how to look classy and elegant with her beautiful styling. I LOVE DO2 NJ. Did I say that I love it ?? 🥰❤️

Did a capoeira class and it was an extremely rewarding experience. The instruction was excellent, the pace was intense, but there was room to slow down the movements to figure things out, and everyone there gave the atmosphere of a return trip home to family and friends. Highly recommended.

Dance Designs has taught me so much in all my years there! It’s such a fun experience that I’m so glad I get to have! The teachers are professional, but so friendly. Their instructions are very clear and have taught me plenty of moves in many different styles of dance. Even if you come in looking for a tap class, you’ll have gained knowledge on other genres as well. Dance Designs made me into the dancer and person I am today! Thank you!❤️❤️

This conservatory is one of the best things Wilmington has to offer! Cory Smith and her staff are incredibly loving, knowledgeable, and steadfast while in pursuit of training students in artistic excellence! They have a complete understanding of the dance profession, and keep the atmosphere of rigorous training in a safe and supportive environment! Please send your kids to this place.

Dance Designs has adult classes that are so much fun and inspiring. Classes always start on time and the instruction is fabulous. I love my weekly tap classes with Carol , the owner and my hip hop class with Tic Tock.

Dance Designs is the most wonderful dance studio! They have a very kind and knowledgable staff and are incredible at teaching dance. I am so glad to have been with Dance Designs since I was two years old and now I am eighteen! I enjoy the variety of genres and dance techniques I have acquired. I have learned an abundance of lessons that have bettered me as a person and not only a dancer!

As a recent graduate of the Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts, I can say with complete confidence that it is the absolute best place in Wilmington for not only dance training, but a dance family. I have danced at the conservatory since I was 6 years old, and the friendships I have made are priceless. Cory Smith, WCFA’s founder and director, is like a second mom to me. While training me to be the best dancer I can be, Mrs. Cory has also mentally prepared me for the dance world and taught me so many valuable life lessons that I am eternally grateful for. I love my WCFA family so much, and I’m so grateful for the past 12 years I have spent at the Conservatory!

Yo was our instructor for our wedding dance lessons and she was the absolute SWEETEST and choreographed the perfect dance for our song. Can't thank her enough for her patience and kindness, we had a great time and our guests thought our dance was beautiful!

So happy I found this gem in Seattle. This studio has provided so much joy through these hard times. The quality of instruction is top notch and the community of people is wonderful. I also appreciate that this studio takes covid precautions seriously. It's impossible not to leave the studio happier, wiser, and very sweaty! :) If you want to learn the real roots of Brazilian art plus make awesome new friends, you need to come here.

I love dancing with Daniel and Aileen. They bring such positivity to every class and I always feel better after shaking it out with them.

Bahia in Motion was my solace and anchor during the pandemic. I had been dancing there on Sundays for almost 2 years pre pandemic. Those uplifting Sundays took on an entirely new and more intense importance with the quarantine shut down of everything not “essential”. Since I was one of those “essential workers” in the medical field, I continued to have to work…and to expose myself to the at that point unknown transmissibility of the virus and risk infection daily. I thought of working at that time as putting my head in the nuclear reactor, since that’s how I viewed the toxic potential of Covid. I literally had to put my head in that mouth of the unknown and risk every time I did my medically related job.

With that type of stress and uncertainty, I needed community, and a source of stability and joy. The weekly Sunday dance classes via Zoom with Daniel and Aileen and Bahia in Motion gave me all that I needed, that I couldn’t get during lockdown. A sense of community with the regular weekly classes and familiar faces. A source of joy and uplift with the primal and ecstatic connection that only dance can provide. Most of all, in a very isolating time, the classes and teachers provided tangible, regular evidence that YOU ARE NOT ALONE; WE SUPPORT YOU. I tell Daniel and Aileen frequently that ‘You two and the Zoom classes are the reason I made it through pandemic with my mental health in a good space’. It is my absolute joy and honor to be able to write the same sentiment and review here. Bahia In Motion is a one in a million treasure.

This dance studio is amazing. The owners Mel & Moira are extremely communicative and get back to you quickly. The classes are taught by professional dance instructors and have taught so much to my daughter in a short amount of time. Because it's a smaller studio, they can do a lot more with teaching, participation, etc. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

My daughter has been dancing with WCFA for 10 years. The studio is literally like her second home. The staff and students are like a second family to us and we would not trade them for anything. Not only do the staff shape her as a dancer, but as a person. The performances WCFA puts on are that of a professional company and I know my daughter is getting the best and most well rounded training in our area. We are so thankful for everything the studio has done for our family!

WCFA has been a great experience for our daughter and for us as her parents. Cory and her staff have been great instructors and mentors for our daughter. They push her and stretch her limits to become better each week and from semester to semester. They help develop talent and more importantly work with the dancers to develop good character. Character that is line with our Christian beliefs and world review.

Dance design studio is the best school around ! Not only they have amazing teachers, Carol ( school director ) and all teachers are extremely personable , they basically become family. My 2 older daughters went there and now my 9yo is loving it !

Lots of great dancers but a few too many cliques and most followers are staring at their cell phones. Not sure many dancer are using cabaseo. Because of the distance and lighting most leaders walk up to within 5-10' of a follower as they glance at them. Not very subtle but it works. Great floor and good music. I prefer Eastern Market. Much friendlier vibe.

Tailor strives hard to see that each dancer gets the time they need to develop into the best they can be! Her staff is amazing and the academy is very clean. It’s more than just dance it’s about FAMILY!

The Nia classes at Balance are wonderful and taught by a variety of skilled teachers who welcome students of every level of athletic ability. In particular, look for Jag's regular workshops that provide a deeper dive into elements of Nia that are wonderful for students and teachers alike. Jen Kraft's Moving to Heal classes are also wonderful and inclusive, great for people who are easing their way back into their fitness practice after an injury -- or just a long time away from movement.

Dance Designs is a fantastic dance studio! My daughter has improved her technique and has grown as a dancer at Dance Designs. The teachers are warm and engaging and give personalized attention to each student. They are willing to go out of their way for each student. I highly recommend Dance Designs!

Tic Tock is by far the best Hip Hop teacher in the area! My daughter loves all of her other teachers and classes too including ballet, tap, and jazz acro! She's been dancing here since she was 3 years old!!❤

My two daughters have been dancing here since the age of 3. The teachers work hard to create exceptional routines! Tic Tock's hip hop classes can't be duplicated!

Nice size floor with plenty of room to dance. Good location with public parking just around the corner. Lasca Low's drill class on Saturday afternoon is perfect for those wanting to improve all aspects of International Standard. Just started coming to this studio. Have not met all the instructors yet.

Whether it is group classes or private lessons, the instruction at Capital Ballroom is professional, progressive and fun. I love the location and the space is excellent for beginners and advanced students alike. The wedding couples are so wonderful to watch and I just love the kids learning how to cha cha cha for the first time. Great place.

This capoeira studio has the most wonderful and welcoming teachers and community. My children have been taking classes here for 3 years and watching them grow in their strength, flexibility, confidence, and cultural awareness has been a joy. Lucky for Seattle that we have them!
