Best Okonomiyaki restaurants in United States

First time there. My daughter suggested it. She took Japanese in high school. A little on the small side with a lot of decor. Server was really nice. Food options was very interesting. I basically had chicken and ramen noodles. With lettuce. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer. But a good place to try.

Authentic, delicious Japanese food with 5-star service to match. This spot is truly a gem and my only regret is that it took me so long to come here! This will definitely be a staple for me and reminds me of all the food I grew up eating at home.

Udon noodles are fresh, salmon onigiri (rice ball) hit the spot, my husband loved his katsu curry and my picky-eater son is a chicken karaage connoisseur - he loved the karaage here.

I went there on Wednesday with some friends and family and the food was delicious, especially the Okonomiyaki. The atmosphere was lovely and our server was very nice to us. We will definitely be back! (Also, the shrimp tempura was very good!) My husband loves Japanese culture, so I took him here for his birthday dinner. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lovely, the waiter was nice, and the food was excellent, especially the Okonomiyaki. We will be back!

The first time ordered from Dokodemo, the fried chicken bowl was so yummy, I ate the whole bowl and ordered another one to go. Definitely will come back.

One of the only places that serves okonomiyaki in the city, and they do it well. Huge fan of the hiroshimayaki which includes all the add-ons I usually like for $1 extra for a good overall portion size. The wasabi octopus appetizer is also really great. Tried some other items on the menu like the fried items which were ok, and a little small portion-wise

Incredibly friendly staff who helped me pick out my whole order! I love the food options they have. Everyone in the place seemed very pleased with their meals. Love the outdoor patio as well. Food was delicious. The place is clean and spacious.

Just a fantastic Japanese lunch joint. Quality is excellent, and the yakisoba dish had wonderful balance of flavors. Prices are reasonable, quality is great, and everything is made in front of your eyes. Great bang for your buck.

This place is great! Awesome little restaurant for Japanese street food. The food is great, it's well priced, and the restaurant has a nice chill vibe. You pay at the front and they bring your food out, very casual.

I've been here a couple of times and my favorite is their "ramen rice." If you like spice, get it spicy, it has a good amount of heat. It's really good!

I had heard good things about Kyoto and wanted to try a Japanese restaurant, which serves more than sushi. Kyoto didn't disappoint. The ambiance and homely and the service is friendly. Most of the food was delicious, while some of it was ok. In appetizers th pork katsu was descent, while the takoyaki was very good. We got kids (4 & 7) the pork gyoza, Yakima soba noodles, and Yaki onigri. They loved it all. My wife ordered teppanyaki eel, which was the highlight of the dinner. I ordered the oknomiyaki, and it was delicious as well. Overall we had great time here. We will definitely recommend Kyoto, we will be back here soon.

I came in quick but I wish I had more time. Definitely will come back because the food was incredible.

The menu is small like 10 options so you know the chef was mastered every dish.

My pasta left me full and I enjoyed the spices and the texture of the noodles. I recommend this place but make sure you have enough time to enjoy every bite!

I’d recommend the beef ramen rice. But it was not as delicious as before. It’s very salty now. I hope they can change it back, and make the okonomiyaki again!

It is my second visit to the restaurant. The restaurant is well decorated the food taste good.
We order a okonomiyaki with squid. It is good with a bunch of cabbage and squid. The duck dish is a little bit sweet and taste good. The Gyoza is hot and the bottom is crispy.

Overall, it is a good Japanese restaurant and worth a try!

Very tasty Japanese comfort food. The menu is easy to navigate to and customizable based on ones preference. The chicken was a bit over fried, but crispy nonetheless. Staff is kind.
