The property itself is a stunning blend of rustic charm and beauty, making it feel like you’ve stepped back in time. It’s easy to feel relaxed and welcomed here, with such a peaceful, inviting atmosphere.

A big shout-out to Jenna Hallman, the Director of Ranch Operations, who is the heart and soul of this place. Jenna’s passion and enthusiasm shine through in everything she does, and she goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. Her accommodating nature and warm hospitality make planning a wedding at Long Hollow Ranch a seamless and memorable experience. Hands down the most amazing weekend of my life was at Long Hollow Ranch. Weddings can be stressful but Jenna was a huge helping hand when it came to a seamless, stress free weekend. They were very accommodating, so helpful, and very easy to get ahold of. The houses on the property were very clean, newly fixed up with new furniture and paint, making it very cute in the back of pictures. I would absolutely recommend this Ranch to anyone looking and in need of a beautiful and very well taken care of venue.

Long Hollow Ranch is a truly beautiful venue. The location was perfect for my wedding. The houses on the property were amazing and clean. The venue manager Jenna and her assistant were amazing and were so helpful. They will make sure your day is perfect! We used Jenna as our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job! It was a stress free wedding thanks to her and her assistant!!

We attended a surprise 50th birthday party at LHR. The facility was beautiful and service was fantastic! I can imagine weddings are absolutely stunning out there! Definitely keep LHR in mind for all of your events! You won’t be disappointed.

Nearly died. We were bouncing down old rig road in the '79 Foxbody when a horned jack rabbit rimshot the radiator. Dazed bugger took no bother loping off leaving us stuck w rad bleeding out. Ranch staff found us day break. Old man took piece of the broken off horn and wrapped it with lime rind and hammered into the radiator hole. All they had was tequila so it took us about 4 hours to drink it all and fill the radiator enough full of the results. WOO DOGGY! She ran like a champ all the way to Boquillas!

We SO wish Mr Somes would reconsider & open their absolutely amazing, incredible & beautiful ranch & ponds to limited public access again, 2014 was the last year there and we miss miss MISS it!.. Allan & Dawn Weiman, Littleton CO

Long Hollow Ranch is an absolute dream for weddings! Driving down the historic driveway feels like stepping back in time, and the warm welcome from the Ranch Managers and their furbabies sets the tone for an incredible experience. Jenna's meticulous preparation, complete with a thoughtful welcome gift, added a personal touch that made our day extra special.

The barn, where the dancing unfolded, was picture-perfect, and the unique bar area with saddles created a charming backdrop for guests to enjoy drinks. The lively bartenders ensured everyone had a blast. Having the entire ranch to ourselves for the weekend elevated the celebration, and though we didn't use the camping spots, it was reassuring to know they were available.

I wholeheartedly recommend Long Hollow Ranch – a solid 10/10! Under new management, the attention to detail remains exceptional. The new manager's personal touch, genuine care, and willingness to go above and beyond ensured our weekend was nothing short of perfection. Choosing Long Hollow Ranch for your wedding is a decision you won't regret!

Had a recent wedding this summer at Long Hollow Ranch and had an excellent experience! I was a bit nervous with the switch of management prior to the wedding date but JD was great! He was always quick to get back to my emails. The weekend of the event everything went smoothly and had no issues with the event space. JD made sure we had everything we needed and let us enjoy all the ranch has to offer. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in having a wedding or event here.

What a dazzling Ranch to hire a urban chef like me.

Ron and Megan are absolutely great to work with. I brought my mare there to be bred with their stud. My mare was definitely nervous at first with the the new environment, but Ron had the best patience with my horse. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a positive breeding experience.

Great environment & even better drinks! Definitely recommend.

I loved this place! I wouldn't have left if I hadn't been able to buy my own horse property. Everyone is kind, the owner lives on site and is easy to get a hold of and all the horses look great! Not a rib in sight! I lived about 3 hours away, so if it was the middle of the week and there was a big temperature swing, Ron always made sure my mare was dressed accordingly if I couldn't get out there to do it myself. I had my girl there for 2 years and never had an issue. I would have stayed if I lived closer :)
