Had a wonderful experience! It’s so hard to get companies to call back and show up, but Morris Construction was on time, they communicated, very professional, and helpful. From the first call with the owner, he answered all my questions and explained how they construct the fence and what nails/screws they use etc. which was appreciated. I haven’t gone through this process before.
They did an amazing job with my fence. They removed the existing, which was not easy and had vines/ivy/branches built in through it. Max was incredibly thorough and came by again upon supply delivery and made sure he walked through my idea with me. Job site was cleaned up and respected, had no concerns leaving my house while they worked. I paid what was on the initial invoice; no hidden costs or problems and I have already referred them to two of my coworkers and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Call them if you need work done!

I contacted Morris Construction Co. on the 13th, had an estimate by the 14th, and had 100ft of new fence installed less than a week later. Mr. Morris is an outstanding businessman that goes above and beyond to communicate, in detail, your needs/preferences. The quality and craftsmanship of this companies work is unmatched (compared to a few jobs done around my neighborhood), and I will absolutely contact them for any future needs. I will also be recommending them to all of my friends, co-workers, and neighbors in need of services they offer.

This is my second time getting a fence done by Brandon and I can say with confidence he is one of the best professionals I’ve ever worked with. Not only is their work top quality, but I had a unique situation and Brandon went way above and beyond to help me out and accommodate my family’s needs and our budget. I couldn’t be happier with the work Morris did replacing a long privacy fence and gate damaged in a storm. They came right away and took measurements and listened to what I was interested in having done. They gave me estimates on several different options that I asked for regarding style and length. The estimate was done within a day and a half of my initial call. The work started within a couple of days after that, and they worked straight through until completed. Now I have an excellent fence, exactly the way I asked for, at a fair price. Communication was never a problem, and everyone involved was very respectful and easy to work with and no mess was left behind. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Cliff and his team are wonderful. We communicated with Cliff off and on for a couple of years, as we tried to make sense of a variety of drainage, landscaping, and hardscaping problems plaguing our yard. Cliff outlined plans, explained how we could handle projects together or in phases, and provided a proposal attentive to our budget concerns. We delayed in starting with the work, but when we contacted Cliff a couple of years later, he responded quickly, re-evaluated the situation, updated the plans, and got to work. I say all of this to point out that communication with Cliff -- and ultimately his team -- is excellent. With regard to our various projects, we started with the most pressing drainage and hardscaping issues. Nature's Friends installed an underground drain to move water from a downspout away from the house along with a French drain -- all collecting in a dry well (with a pop-up dispenser) near the edge of the yard. They covered the drainage system nearest to the house with pavers set in concrete, which also connected an existing patio with a storage-room walkway. The work was handled with great care. We saw immediately the positive results of the drainage system. And the hardscaping looks great. Cliff and the team checked in with us throughout the project. When we had questions, they answered them quickly and ensured they were completing the project with all of our concerns addressed. We are completely happy with the work, and we're excited to move into the next phases of our landscape improvement, knowing Cliff and his team will handle the work well. Cliff came by personally the same day I reached out for an estimate, did a thorough walkthrough of my property and gave me recommendations that not only were going to save me money, but also keep the aesthetics. He and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, were incredibly professional, and left my yard and the street impeccably clean after all the trees and branches were removed. Cliff and his crew were outstanding from start to finish, and I will be hiring them again for future projects.

Capitol Iron Works is truly an extraordinary place, especially in this day and age. Ivette, who was my point of contact, was responsive and knowledgeable throughout the process. The estimate was made via photos, received within 24 hours. The work itself was done the morning after I submitted my down payment. I needed the workmen to delay their start till 11:30, and they agreed. The foreman, Noel, showed up 10 minutes early, and explained everything. The workman ship was flawless. The crew was efficient and pleasant. The clean up was immaculate.

All in all, I could not be more happy, and because I do a lot of this stuff, I am very hard to please. Bravo!!!

My son just had his wedding here and it was wonderful! The event coordinator, Emily, was very attentive and helpful. We had several events over 2 days. She not only made sure we had what we asked for, but also saw other details that we needed and made sure they were taken care of. All of the staff was amazing. This company cleaned up my large yard (shrubs, multiple flower beds, a million vines) and trimmed a huge tree for me. I was so impressed. Cliff is straight-forward, responsive and professional. He obviously knows his landscaping and gardening and he answered all my questions thoroughly. I have had some negative experiences with contractors in the past and this was such a positive one!
His team has been working for him a long time (some for over 20 years) and they also really know their stuff. His tree guys did an amazing job opening up the canopy of my immense beech tree. Then his team spent a full day weeding, clearing and mulching the perimeter and all of the flower beds all the way around my large front and back yards. I have perennials everywhere and they recognized them and were very careful to preserve them. They pulled out a huge amount of English ivy and innumerable other vines. They were meticulous and worked super hard and efficiently. They totally exceeded my expectations. My yard looks so beautiful now, like well-kept parkland, and I am inspired to go out and garden again. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Excellent service from Juan Vargas and his team. The railings we ordered are beautifully made, exactly as we wanted. We like the alternating straight and twisted spindles. The installation team came to our home on time and did a thorough job. Our front steps are now more attractive and safer than they were before. Pricing was very competitive with other proposals. I recommend Capitol.

We needed a simple privacy fence for our house. Shopped around for estimates and they have very competitive prices. They were able to come out and build it much faster than the other companies gave a timeline for, and we're very happy with how it looks. Builders were efficient and courteous and I highly recommend!

For the past 7 years I have used Natures Friends for seasonal cleanup of my large, heavily wooded yard, which can frequently become extremely overgrown with weeds and undergrowth. Cliff Bressler and his hard working team consistently transform the area to perfection. Cliff has also coordinated completion of a new flagstone patio for me.

I would not hesitate to fully recommend Natures Friends for all landscaping needs, with the caveat that services are very costly. The premium paid does reflect a high level of quality.’

Cliff and the guys at natures friends landscaping are awesome. My partner and i have a pretty large yard. We both work full time and have a 6 month old so staying on top of all of the maintenance has been pretty difficult. When i put out a request on yelp for quotes for a clean up, Cliff was super responsive, came out to see the yard and gave me a great quote on the spot. They came out today and he transformation has been unreal. It’s a real weight off of our shoulders. We’ll definitely be calling them again!

The best word I can use to summarize the yard clean-up at my parents’ house by Nature’s Friends is THOROUGH. Cliff walked through the entire property and identified not only the type of plants and trees growing there, but what shouldn’t be there—that is, all the voluntary growths we needed to get rid of. He brought his tree guys in, then the landscaping crew to trim and clean up. They’ve completely transformed the place. I love it. I plan to give them a call should we need work done at my own place.

Capitol Iron Works built a custom metal pergola according to our basic design. They visited the site several times to be sure the dimensions and details were exactly what we wanted and then fabricated and installed within the promised timeframe. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and the entire experience. We highly recommend Capitol Iron Works.

I want to thank Seegars Fence for the outstanding work at my house. The fence looks great and I have already received compliments on it. My next project is going to be iron railings and will most likely involve Seegars. The installation crew was top notch and I appreciate all the work to make us satisfied.

Took them my motorcycle seat pan for filling holes I drilled setting up the seat for myself. Also had them weld the gaps were from the factory had relief cuts from press molding. The last thing was for it to be powder coated black. The holes that were welded looked bad after the powder coating. Bad enough to drop the rating to a 3. Customer service, price were good and timely results. Would have rather waited another week and more money spent for an awesome JOB, not just a finished job.

In shopping for fence estimates, I reached out to 4 companies on the same day. Seeger's did not even reach out to schedule an estimate for 2 weeks. Jeremy came out to take measurements. He was condescending and rude, criticizing my desire for a wood fence stating that "wood is ugly, wood is dirty, wood rots" and trying to sell me on vinyl because it's more expensive and less work for them. When he brought the estimates to me, he was again very rude and condescending, and asked me if "I needed to sit down first because they were pretty big numbers".... Not only was his estimate for wood MORE than vinyl... It was LITERALLY TWICE the cost of 3 other companies estimates. Not to mention his estimate was for basic stockade, while my other estimates were for board-on-board and shadowbox. He stated that they couldn't start for 6-8 weeks. Meanwhile, the company I went with said they could start as soon as 5-7 days. I obviously did not use this company nor do I recommend them to anyone. There's better options out there with nicer people and honest prices.

I contacted Capital Iron Works to build four security grilles for my windows, and an error occurred with my work that was only discovered during the installation.
When plans go awry, a company shows its true character by its response. Capitol Iron Works rebuilt my project from scratch and kept me apprised of its progress. The new grilles were installed today by a knowledgeable and experienced team and were everything I had hoped. I’m looking forward to working with Capitol Iron Works on other projects in the upcoming months.

I'm still waiting for the professional to show up and fix my fence and get what I paid for. My number was blocked also. Is this it? 🤔 I sure hope not because I am to old to be chasing down my dogs because my fence is loose and they know it. Come fix my fence...

Capitol Iron just completed their 3rd project for me. It was handrails on a porch. They did an outstanding job. Jose and Paul were very professional and neat in their work. Highly recommend using Capitol Iron.
Capitol Iron Works installed 3 exterior handrails for me. One was for a straightforward short stair. The other two were for a pathway that is curved and on a hill. A difficult job. All three were powder coated. I am very impressed with their work and professionalism. They were quick to respond to my initial request and their follow up and installation were excellent. While they had to do the installation in freezing weather, they did not stint or ask for a delay.
I have another small project and am planning to have them do the work.

These folks are awesome!!! Very smart about all the details. Super nice. Terrific at communication. Very committed to doing high quality work. We have had a lot of people work on our house and I dont think I have ever felt so trusting of anyone else. You always say, "I want someone who will work on our house as if it were their own." These guys seem to meet that test.

Dion now has completed two amazing projects for our property; the most recent being a large paver-stone driveway with corresponding sidewalks and retaining walls. Dion is always professional, a true artist in the field of masonry, and completes tasks on time. We love working with him and I am sure we will be continuing to work with him in the future. I paid a 50% deposit to have railing installed. The initial experience was great, they showed me my railing/style/color etc. and I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. Multiple calls weekly on my behalf to American Fabricators and each time I was told "we're behind and quality takes time." Now at 5 months, they would only install the railing with an incentivized price increase to bump us up in line as they stated they still had customers from "March & April who are still waiting". I got my deposit back and I wish them luck in trying to manage customer promises & delays. I never got weekly updated which I didn't ask for yet they must have realized they were so far behind that they were even behind giving customer updates, so I called myself every week or two only to hear "give a week or two". 5 months!!! Nice looking products but I wouldn't know it as after 5 months, I can't wait any longer!

I had a great experience, What people have to understand is most people who call this place know what they need and what they are doing. So the sales staff sometimes has to guess what you are talking about if you don't know. Jason handled every detail for me and laid it out to perfection. Could not be any happier for one of the guys who wasn't sure what he needed.

After meeting with and receiving estimates from several patio contractors, most with very large company’s, I met with Dion, the owner of Artists Masonry in Lorton, VA.
While he stated that his company was small, he explained that he would be working and involved from day one to completion. From the first meeting I sensed that his major priority was to understand the importance of my personal beautification patio plan and my sense was “spot on.”

Residing in a community with historic guidelines and meeting even stricter covenant guidelines that could have been challenging, Dion made the process “seamless.” There was never a time when he was not available to receive my calls as I prepared the endless application documents. He worked with the community covenants director as well.
Our design plan was submitted and immediately approved by the board. I was told that my plan and application could be used as a template for all homeowners applications because it was “perfect.”

To say that I am a perfectionist might be an understatement, but I found Dion to be even more so. He arrived when he said he would and he worked non-stop each day until he had transformed my small English style garden space into what family, friends and passers by are calling a stunning patio that has the beauty and charm of a secret garden in Tuscany.

I have had strangers knocking on my door asking if I would share the contractor’s name. I think that alone speaks volumes to the quality and beauty of Dion’s artistry. As capital investments go, this gorgeous Travertine patio just added $$$$ to the value of my home. In closing I’m delighted to share some before, during and final photos.

Jorge, Miguel, Camila and the team did a great job designing, fabricating, and installing our new architectural awning. It was surprisingly difficult to find a contractor to do this work at what seemed a reasonable rate, some quoting us nearly five times the cost we paid Capital. The team was professional and prompt. I called to get an estimate for front stair replacement, and someone came out the next day. The estimate was less than i had figured, told them to go ahead with the project. 10 days later the steps were installed and look awesome! Thank you very much.

From the get go, Jonathan was wonderful to work with. Our goal was to design a outdoor "living room" that maximizes the functional space, is beautiful and comfortable for us to have people over and is kid-friendly (for our daughter to play in). Jonathan was great to collaborate with -- he listened to our ideas and contributed his own. He is very knowledgeable about hardscaping (including wood) and landscaping.
Our design included built us benches, along the walls (with storage), a custom table, bench, and planters, as well as the installation of pavers, evergreens and an irrigation system.
The end result (including the woodwork and craftsmanship) is incredibly impressive. The team was very professional (and respectful, especially during COVID), and the project was completed on time. We couldn't be more thrilled and we would highly recommend M.U.D.!!

This was the best part of our trip to Lexington. Our tour guide- can not remember her name- was awesome and we hope she fulfills her dream of being in the winners circle at a horse race. We got to meet with Breva- one of the owners of some of the thoroughbreds- very nice and had a nice conversation. She even took a picture of us with one of her throughbreds😀. We even have a suggestion of a name for a 2 yr old horse that doesn’t have a name yet- White Lightening. Loved seeing the horses training on the track. Highly recommend this tour. We had an amazing wedding at the Thoroughbred Center! We went in to decorate only to find that they had done the vast majority of it and had done so beautifully. All of the staff, from the bartenders to the security were fantastic. However, Emily was truly amazing. She was so helpful from start to finish and handled every little detail to make sure that everything was perfect. Extremely happy with our decision to have our wedding at this venue.

I called Dion about replacing and enlarging an old patio and old front walkway. He came that very day, had some wonderful ideas, took measurements and gave me a price that evening. He started the job when he said he would and worked diligently until it was completed. It is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. We now have a lovely outdoor room which we are enjoying tremendously! The workmanship is artistic, functional and of the highest standards. My husband and I could not be more pleased with our new patio and front walkway. Dion is professional, artistic, honest and a very hard worker. We are very pleased with our new white vinyl semi-private fence from Seegars Fence company. Jeff Ames our sales person was very helpful in selection of our fence style and deciding on the best location of gates and placement on our property. He stayed in frequent contact from the ordering, scheduling installation, and fielding questions during the whole process. The installers, David and Miles were great. They were very conscientious in care of our property. placement of the fence posts and getting the hardware we needed just right.

Seegars fence did an excellent job of installing our fence. While it took about 4 weeks to get the installation, the work was completed in two days and was definitely worth the wait. The entire team at Seegars is such a joy to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking a reputable company to install fencing.

We had our wedding there. I was not impressed by the staff throughout the whole process of planning the event as well as after. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside and our reception inside. Because of bad weather, we were unable to have the ceremony outside. We did not get the money back ($1,000) for the cost of the outdoor ceremony even though the staff said we would. We were also supposed to get our damaged deposit ($250) refunded the week after the wedding. Two weeks later....still waiting on that check. Yes they offer an affordable price for a wedding venue, but you get what you pay for. The staff were not very helpful when decorating and getting the venue ready for the ceremony. I had to get my groomsmen to help kid in a big arch from outside because they said there was nobody there to move it. Some of the lights fell down inside the venue and I had to get on a ladder and fix them myself. For what we paid, they should have had someone there to help. Look somewhere else if you’re looking for a wedding venue.

Dion is an artist. Adding a patio was like adding another room to our home, we are enjoying it much more than I had imagined. With Dion's quality work it adds value now and in the future.

Well, hopefully you'll have a far better experience than I did. I went to their website a week ago and used their contact email that was listed. I took the time to snap 3 pictures of my existing concrete porch and explicitly outlined what kind of prefab porch I was interested in and asked for a ballpark price. I just didn't want to needlessly waste their time coming out for estimate if it was going to be out of my price range in the first place. I never received a response, so a few days later I called and left a message. I finally received a call this morning but I was away from my phone. They never left a message so I figured I was likely on someone's radar and they would soon call back. They didn't, so I called again. I mentioned to the gentleman on the phone that I'd been trying for a week now just to get some info on a porch. His very first reaction was to let out a big sigh and then sarcastically ask, okay what do you want to know? At this point, I knew all I needed to know and said thank you and hung up.

Jonathan and his team were absolutely terrific. It is clear that he know what he's doing, knows the craft, and loves it--and the results speak for themselves. We had them build an ipe deck on our Clinton Hill extension roof and came out gorgeous, just as we had discussed. He was able to take us through various options, adjust his price a bit given our budget, came when expected, and delivered awesome results. Highly recommend these guys!

Very nice tour on a very cold day. Loved watching the horses on the track. Learned a lot from Brian the outrider about handling a horse, beyond what most instructors tell you. The visit to one of the many barns was a treat, maybe we saw a future champion.

Handrails turned out great! Jonathan was a pleasure to work with, always responded quickly to emails, and answered all of our questions on design options, the process, and costs. There was no pressure or trying to up sell us on anything.

Best sales representative ever

We rented the Lounge and Runway area for our wedding reception. The venue itself was beautiful and perfect for our group. From the initial tour, to the night of the event, the staff at the The Thoroughbred Center provided top notch service. Amy was great at assisting us with planning and setting up the event. She also made sure we did not have to worry about one thing the night of the event. The grounds crew did a great job of making sure the parking lot and sidewalks were clear of any snow prior to our event. I cannot say enough about the venue and the staff at The Thoroughbred Center.

We recently held our Xmas office party in the lounge at the thoroughbred Center. The staff was friendly, professional, and offered a number of helpful suggestions. Everything was arranged as requested. The lounge was a nice intimate size for our gathering of 75-80 guests and an excellent setting for our office gathering. Lots of parking, easy to find, and located away from the maddening crowds downtown.

My husband and I recently moved to Jacksonville and we have been looking into fence rental companies. We asked around, did our research and decided to go with Seegars. I called on a Tuesday and set up the estimate appointment for Wednesday, the gentlemen on the phone was very helpful and answered all of my questions without any problems or attitudes. He came out Wednesday did our estimate and told me what he suggested, once he was done he gave me a paper to take to the office to get everything ready to have our fence put up. So Wednesday afternoon i did the paperwork and they said our fence would be put up by the middle of the following week, which was completely fine with us. Woke up on Thursday morning and our fence was done! Its just what we wanted and perfect size! We had expressed some concerns about out dogs with the latches, so they put 2 latches on the gate free of charge! Every person we met at Seegars was very helpful and super nice. I don't think we could have found a better fencing company to use! I highly recommend Seegars Fencing to anyone!
