Tesfa is an artist! He did an amazing custom deck railing and steps for me. I wanted something unusual, and he completely understood what I was going for and designed something perfect. He was also reasonably priced, detail-oriented, very polite, and completed the work on time. I couldn’t be happier.

The iron staircase outside of my DC rowhome was broken, rusting and needed to be replaced. I got four estimates and Tesfa had the best price and offered the nicest design, so I went with this company. So glad I did - my new staircase is beautiful. It took about three weeks from start to finish, and the contractor was great at communicating. You can tell that this is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Five stars - highly recommend.

I recently had my walkway and stoop done in stone and experienced poor workmanship, bad scheduling, just to name a few things; therefore, I was very unhappy with the stonework.
When Tesfa came by to help me design a railing, he gave me ideas on how to make a bad stonework situation better. His railing and the workmanship enhanced the look by helping correct many of the flaws on the stonework.
Tesfa understands the concept of excellent customer service from the quality of his product to his pricing. I highly recommend and have recommended him to my friends and family members. It was a joy to work with a professional like Tesfa. I wish there could be more like him.

I recently contacted Shelly because I truly didn’t know where else to turn. Frankly, I was almost embarrassed to call as my request was so small versus a a major commission. I had a very inexpensive but highly sentimental garden piece that had been recently damaged in the Winter storms. Shelly was incredible she answered my call immediately and met with me that day. She was in the middle of working on an exciting piece for an upcoming festival and I was very sheepish when I brought in my piece for repair. She put my mind at ease and really put thought into what was required and shared how she could help. She recognized this inexpensive little thing was important to me and treated me like I was a major patron. She charged a very fair price and her attention to detail was amazing. Thank you Shelly!

I just had a welding job done on a 150 year-old desk chair that has been in our family for years. I could not be more pleased. This was a small custom job, and the artisan was an absolute pleasure to work with. She understood what needed to be done, shared her expertise while we were discussing the project, and made extra improvements that I could not have imagined. Really great work, here. It was good to have someone with this knowledge so willing to share her best ideas, and complete such good work.

Tesfa is excellent - he made a beautiful design that exactly matched my (very vague) request for something "craftsman but modern too," fabricated the gate quickly, and installed professionally and efficiently. His workmanship is high quality and precise. If I ever need other iron work, I will call Tesfa first. Plus, now my girl Lady can enjoy my deck safely without escaping into the alley!

Great Selection and Great Service! And I picked it up while I waited. Their website was helpful in pulling together a list of materials. I designed and built a roof-top rack to haul a 21 foot rowing shell.
Tesfa Ironsmith did an amazing job, He is resposible and extremely dependable guy. His iron work is touch of artistic work with fine details. Talk about timing Oh I called his office then came out next day did measurement in 3 business days voila installation complete led.

Love working here. The management is great and the owners and supervisors know your name and always tell you how much they appreciate you being there. It's the first time I have ever gotten a raise while still being a temp worker. I broke my ankle and have to miss work for at least 10 weeks, but they have my job waiting for me and are going to hire me as soon as i get better. Who does that?! I work swing shift, and we all get along and have an awesome lead. Everyone is there to help each other. It's a long drive for me and i could probably find something closer to home. But it's worth it to make the drive. I absolutely love it hear!!!!

I have a number of Shelly's smaller pieces (I live in Cleveland, Ohio). Her wreath is on my dining room wall, a big flower in my garden and some small critters scattered around the yard. Her little caged bird and bicycle chain heart hang on my front porch. All were well packaged and arrived in fine shape. Easy peasy. I love Shelly's work.
I purchased Shelley's "raised beds".,, 3 small metal boxes on posts to stick in the ground as a group. Perfect for displaying a small succulent in each.
They are a highlight of my garden! I bought two more sets as presents. I also have a few of her metal fern fronds and would love to have more.

They are beautiful, and turned out to be exactly what we wanted, even when we weren't absolutely certain of how they would work. She was very willing to work with us, checking with us often to make sure we were all on the same page with every detail.
We started with the need for something utilitarian, but Shelly took our need for function and turned our brackets into pieces of art. We know she does works of all sizes, so we were very glad she was willing to take our small project, treating it with such care and attention to detail.

I bought two Mondrian-style garden trellises from Shelly at Indio Metal Arts. They are perfect for the spot in front of my house and are covered with clematis vines, just as I planned. She even helped me pour concrete to get them installed properly and they haven't budged. I love them!
Our Aerotech Carpet Cleaning Truck is a beast!! The best & Jeremy & Errol are incredible. We called with an issue & Errol got right on the phone and walked us through the problem......Truck was not in park. We have had no issues with the Truck at all

The folks at Metal Supermarkets are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I'm an ordinary homeowner, and I can always come to Metal Supermarkets to quickly get what I need. Today I got a 40" x 48" piece of 1/4" thick diamond tread steel plate for use as a draft cover for my wood fireplace, and it was cut to size for me and loaded into my car within minutes.
I randomly found this business with the help of google. The staff was extremely helpful. The guys were quick to help me figure out what I needed without me even knowing what I needed. It was great service. I was able to walk out with the piece of metal that same day! Super easy to find. Habla Espanol !
Absolutely amazing people to work with. Noel took the time to sit down and review our product and to get to know it before fabrication. He even suggested a different way to do certain bends which helped out in the fabrication of the box and ultimately worked out better for us. Their quality is through the roof. they really pride themselves in quality work and it definitely shows. I was very pleased to work with them and look forward to working with them on future projects as well.

I have relied on their expertise to fabricate and assemble custom designed equipment for many years. Their quality is excellent and their willingness to work with you through the challenges of custom fabrication is exceptional. I have always appreciated how professional they are to work with when problems are found in a design during fabrication to quickly get the project back on track. Also, they have always been willing to help with quick turnaround parts for emergency breakdowns. When we take projects to them we know that we have the advantage of their years of experience and modern equipment. I work for a manufacturing facility and we use Aerotech for custom machined parts often. Not only is their quality top notch, they have very fair and competitive pricing. They paint in house which I can appreciate as many of the companies I have worked with on custom machined parts have to send parts out for painting, which results in a longer lead time. I love working with Gary and appreciate that he always responds quickly. I have personally toured their facility and was extremely impressed.
From their sales staff, their engineers and their technicians, they are the very best around. They have fast turn around when we are ordering products. We have been using their services for 8 years and have never had a bad experience.

Not sure if they are in business...? Or going out of business? I've left a few voice messages and emails regarding an order they just engineered for me and I haven't heard a thing from them. Two other metal places have folded in that area within the last 2 years... maybe they are too?
