Always have lots of different animals 😀 love it 😜
I always enjoy coming to the supermarket and great customer service
Beautiful horses at the auction on the fourth Saturday of the month. Friendly auction folks running the equine auction that are easy to coordinate with. The stalls are huge, clean and give animals plenty of room.
Awesome awesome grocery very easy to find whatever you’re looking for
My son bought beef here, the kid checked the date but it was bad because the beef had changed color, the meat was not fresh at all.
Great supermarket, it’s small but they have pretty much everything. Drinks, vegetables, flour, pasta. Also milk, sodas, the staff it’s quick and approachable.

This market sells very well-organized and fresh products. I really like it here.

Just one thing, please ask the staff not to smoke e-cigarettes inside the store. This place sells ingredients for food. Please help maintain my continued enjoyment of this place.
Staff always there with a smile and helpful to find what we need. Free delivery always with no minimum. Always aim to please true definition of a convenient store.
I have been shopping here for 1 year and agreed with the prices agreed how organized till....... I came with my neighbor to get help with my heavy groceries and we had somebody without knowing WHY !?? or FROM WHERE !??? started following us. I was in complete SHOCK, I'm from Europe and it was never in my mind to be in such persecution inside the store because my neighbor is a latino. This guy we've been persecuriet by him, isn't a latino but the supervisor or manager he's a latino that let this guy follow us around the supermarket and again I was in SHOCK, cus he's usually always in front of the door sometimes helping and after that, we performed to pay and for some stupid reason the cashier a young guy very condescending attitude with a stupid smile on his face made visual contact with the supervisor or manager acting like we stoled. I was so embarrassed so humiliated and almost cried. I am a nurse and making enough money to pay for my stuff as always when I shopped with MET FRECH,no idea how it works in America but is it legal just following others by how their aspect looks or color?? unbelievable, disgusting and horrible experience. Relax I'm not going to expose anyone of you or your names YOU NEED THIS JOB MORE THAN ANY OTHERS but you need a huge training and humble yourself and have respect for others. Never shop again HERE!

I shop here almost everyday, not to mention most of their items are super over priced, that’s why it’s always empty. Items are outdated as well! Workers and staff are rude. Instead of talking amongst each-other, help the customers out. Very unprofessional workers. I had asked the cashier a question and they gave me nothing but disrespect and attitude! I guess that’s what happens when you just hire young kids! I rather drive the extra 5 minutes to beautiful north shore farms.
Good small town grocery store. Only place in town to buy fresh meat and liquor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Outstanding steak and fixings again from the Detour Passage Market. They cut their own meat in house and you will not find any better. If you like burgers you will fall in love with the burger it's not very often you have only burger in the pan without needing to drain off the grease and the best on the grill.Yes it is a small town local market and they have the Dollar General to compete with as more small towns have now days but they have a good selection of items you need. The service is great and I don't go anywhere but here they have what I need.
This place has a lot of hard to find niche products at great prices. All the workers are friendly too and hardworking. My go-to market place.

New ownership has a done an excellent job of transforming this store into a beautiful supermarket. They have been in the grocery business for many years and are very kind and responsive.
Nice grocery store. Had everything we needed. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Popped in here to grab some deli sandwiches but the cooler had been running warm. The owner greeted us and offered to make fresh sandwiches, we ended up getting some snacks and chatting with her for a little bit. It’s a great store and despite being in a touristy area was super reasonably priced- the meat is butchered there and looked gorgeous. They have all of the staples you’d need and you’re supporting a truly local business. It’s a shame a Dollar General was built next door.
This place will be our go-to for food in future trips.
The staff and especially the owner are all very friendly and personable. They make newcomers to DeTour like myself feel very comfortable. Sometimes they don't have what I need and I wish their produce section was better but I always shop here first.

Very good food all fresh great balance of spices.
All food was amazing, one of the best coffee, and amazing Desserts.
Twice I bought something here to come home and find out it was expired. I bought buns here, came home and after eating two of them, found that they were moldy. The sticker says it was to expire in a week. I walked all the way back in the rain, to return them. When I explained what happened there was no apology. When I complained that that is a dangerous practice, to sell moldy bread, the girl at the counter rudely dismisses me and tells me I should look before eating. Reported to the health department. Be careful.

Had a fantastic meal here on Tuesday - visited LA and of all the restaurants we loved this one the most - absolutely great service, really delicious food, very friendly staff - definitely recommend this brilliant restaurant.
This place makes a great breakfast wrap all fresh and new at this place.
We used the DeTour Passage Market a lot while staying locally to buy food and drinks. The customer service was perfect! Only giving them 4 stars because we bought beer and realized it was expired when we got home.
The Spanish girl cashier is so rude and not friendly. Never smiles and very arrogant always makes rude comments. I would never come back and I don’t recommend anyone else to shop there . Look like her mother never though her the proper manners on how to talk politely with people esp with customers.

The owners were a nice French couple who shared a lot of passion and pride for their restaurant. Amazing service, everything came out surprisingly fast and the desserts were the best I have ever tried at any kosher restaurant. The owner even had some wine with my husband which was so nice. Get the banana split ( it is made Louisiana style, bananas flame cooked in liquor, a beautiful touch) . Their ravioli were amazing and their red sauce was authentic. Their cesar salad was perfect as well.
Everything is super expensive for what omg. The 2 girls at the cashier literally were omg another one with wic while some lady took her wic card out.
Good store and most of the prices on food are good but the beer prices are through the roof. What a rip off. 5-6 dollars more than anywhere else. It’s insane they have been getting away with this for months. A six pack of something 17 dollars. Sorry I like the place but this is insane and needs to change.
Great food - we arrived earlier in the evening, and it got very crowded as we ate. By the time we left, there was a line halfway down the block waiting to get in! Service was good - didn't rush us, but did came out very quickly. One item we ordered got lost in the shuffle, and our server felt REALLY bad about it, but was happy to remove the item from our bill, no problem. Great experience overall

Disorganized service - especially for tables more than 5. Brought my table’s meals out at completely different times (an hour apart from each other). Kept bringing other table’s foods to our table - over 5 times. Messed up many of our orders, such as by including ingredients that we asked to be excluded from the meal due to allergies.

Rude owner. Walked away and yelled “go somewhere else” when we politely told him about our disappointment in not receiving our meals at the same time.

Quality and portion of the food was not worth the price - even with it being kosher.
Great place. Fabulous people working and Karen the owner just wonderful.
It was great, I got a nice goat
First time buyer at this auction, and had a terrible experience. They stole 400lbs off a heifer and they couldn't verify what I told them to be true. We got robbed, ethics here should be questioned. Overall the people here seem nice except a couple real rude ones. I wont bite hook twice would not recommend

Check the dates on prepackaged seli items. I saw a number of items that were very out of date.
Trattoria is reminiscent of a French bistro. Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, Pico Blvd, we were pleased that they were open on Saturday night. Kosher eating has few options after Shabbat, so Trattoria gets points for that.

We ordered lots of stuff. The Shitaki Rigatoni was the fan favourite. They do a great job on the French onion soup, as you would expect from a fine French establishment. I would stay away from the Gnocchi. The pizza was unique and definitely worth a try.

We opted for the Ramon Cordova Rioja, it pairs well with pizza and pasta. That would be my only recommendation from the wine menu.

It is a bit overpriced, which is why I am giving it four stars, but the food is really good and I wish the service was a little better.

Here’s my full recommendation

Apps: Artichoke Dip, Nachos
Soup: French Onion Soup
Entree: Shitaki Rigatoni and any of the pizzas
Wine: Ramon Cordova Rioja
Dessert: Crème Boule or Chocolate Lava

The desserts are really something special. You can really taste the butter in the Chocolate Lava Cake.
Has many items, open later that the other stores in the area. Decent beer/cider selection. Deli is just ok. It feels dark in there and could use a dusting.

Food Universe is a small supermarket but convenient. It can be a little expensive but if you shop the specials you should be OK. Very clean store with friendly check out people and helpful staff. They ALWAYS honor advertised sale items.
I visit DeTour every year and always make it a point to shop at DeTour Passage. The owner Karen and all her staff treat myself and all who shop there with old school hospitality that has been forgotten. Detour Passage Grocery Store has a good selection of everyday items, and a meat department that has a great selection of the best steaks in the area. They also have a fully stocked beer and liquor section as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. If you make it to Detour stop in and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did.
Small but clean. Nice place for you to get something quick and easy without the hassel of a big supermarket.
Women working the gate are extremely helpful and friendly but you must try the little cafe. The fresh pastries are out of this world AMAZING!!!!
This place needs to be investigated. Unsatisfying Cleanliness, I grabbed a product off the shelf an it was eating some by the cashier who put it back on the shelf. He said that's why he put it to the side. An then they are over charging their customers. Atleast double state guidelines.
Irish chocolate
Its so much fun to go here you get to see all kinds of livestock
Best quality of produce I’ve seen on Brighton. The prices are definitely cheaper. Would recommend
Good people!! Great breakfast sandwiches!! The store is always very clean and orderly.

Amazing produce. Employee's treat you like family. I frequent this location weekly!
It's convenient, local, clean & well stocked on basic varieties with competitive prices and friendly staff. Freshly in-house bakery & deli dept. Easy on street parking. Update: Aug 1, 2023 - egg prices down to normal but price of whole roasted rotessiree chicken is up, now $11 vs. $9 not long ago and $7 in 2020.

Good store!
Great place to stock up on cattle...horses....pigs etc u name it
This is a clean, well-stocked Met establishment with a unique assortment of imported Italian, Greek and Turkish products.
I'm not sure who their distributors are, but in all my years of living in NYC, I haven't seen a store with such a distinct array of unusual products. In addition to your typical produce, dry goods, and vegan specialty items, this store sells products like pasta imported from Italy, chocolate from Greece and a variety of assorted cheeses from around the world. They have fresh baked breads, fresh cuts of meat and seafood, as well as an impressive deli counter. Store leadership is gracious and friendly as well.

My sister took me here when I was visiting this weekend, and I will certainly return!!!

Incredible service and delicious food. Came here for lunch and they had just opened. Server was awesome and food came out after a little while. Pasta and eggplant parm was delicious! 5-star place!
Open 24 hours
And 7 days a week
This is my breakfast spot. Its affordable and fast. Haven't had an order go wrong yet. I will keep you posted
Love this store. The customer service is great. Free delivery no minimum purchase is extremely helpful for a mom with little kids and can't always leave the house to get groceries. Keep up the good work!

This used to be Key Food and the new owners have made many changes to the better. They're constantly improving the store, the produce section has gotten tremendously better than what used to be and I could see that's when the store has been fully renovated it'll be far better than Western Beef the closest competitor.
Good beer selection here
Great corner store. Has most things that I need. Great in a pinch for cooking items. Beer prices are good. Candy and soda prices are standard. Food is great.
Buena atencion
Just had Breakfast there.....3 egg whites and sausage patties
Efrin cooked an excellent breakfast.
The fish tank in the first department is good too see. We asked Richard the butcher to make up a 3 lb. Pot roast. He will make up a prime rib with the bone cut off and tied back on in the future. (D'Alessandro's just closed after 60 years) Now we have a new place to shop.

A family held a brit milla (circumcision) party here on the second level, the stairs were very narrow and if you're wheelchair bound, I don't think it'd be possible to go upstairs. SIL hace twins and it was a chore to get the babies up with their strollers. Food was ok...

Regular neighborhood grocery. Good for a quick pick up not a full grocery shop. Nothing special here. Always the same old same old. The worse experience with this store is u have to watch the register. Nothing rings up at the right price. I feel they try ripping you off.

Very rarely visit this store-- yet at the time it was the perfect spot to pick up a few things before heading home... my only advice is be careful what you purchase! At visits' end I threw a six pack of Schweppes Grapefruit Seltzer in my basket... the soda was completely tasteless (No bubbles/fizz). Upon contacting the manufacturer to complain I was informed (after giving the customer rep few ID numbers off of the bottle)-- that the soda had been sitting on the shelf for more than 4 months...

Granted, this may not be the sole responsibility of the supermarket--but be careful!
This review is going to seem insane! I am about to tell you in all seriousness that Welsh Farms in Roselle Park has some of the best Mexican food in the state! From the outside it looks like a somewhat dingy convenience store. There is a slapped together vinyl sign advertising Mexican food but it's very easy to miss... And if you do see it you would never think it could be this good! Inside they have a nice cozy seating area but behind the old deli counter is where the magic happens. The tortillas for tacos, quesadillas etc are hand pressed and second to none. What goes inside is fresh and delicious. The highlight for me is the carne enchilada, spicy pork. I have had it in burritos, tacos and on a sandwich. It is easily the best I have ever had and believe me I have searched! If you like real authentic Mexican food you owe it to yourself to search out this hidden gem and give it a shot.
Good to have it.
Dumpy store with not much to choose from cold cuts I would call old cuts soda is cheap sodas no selection another cigarette cheap coffee and lottery -run into store maybe get some fresh rolls and good coffee
Quick service
Usual store
Dirty and it smells!
Jon was extremely courteous when we stopped by the stockyard while visiting from Missouri. The stockyard was thoughtfully designed and well kept. Jon was very knowledgeable about the industry and provided an exceptional experience by giving us a tour of the facility and showing us Elkhorn Dairy nearby. He made our visit to California more memorable, and we will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area. Thank You!!
Good selection of organic products, and usually quick service. Not too busy.
Hay variedades de productos a precios cómodos

It is under new management, they changed from Pioneer to Met Foods and I love it. I live about 8 blocks away and I'm closer to other supermarkets but I prefer to shop their because of their customer service and reasonable prices. The one thing that stands out to me the most is their wonderful customer service. I have compared their prices to other supermarkets and by far they have the lowest. Also their fruits and vegetables is nice and fresh. The meat is also fresh. I would recommend this supermarket to my family and friends.
