Visit Central Florida is our “Go To Spot,” for all of our tourism information relating to central Florida including; discount tickets, events and expert advice on the local attractions. The entire staff are a wealth of knowledge and extremely helpful, kind and generous with their time. These are deep rooted locals that treat you like family. A special thanks to Laura, Jeannie, Justin, Savannah, Faith, Dennis, Chris and Mike. Thank you for your passion and dedication to your customers while guiding them towards an awesome vacation experience. May God bless you!

Jeannie and Lora were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
We met Jeannie outside of Legoland on 7/6/2023 and she told us about the visitor center. We are from Las Vegas NV and found all the information about Florida that we need.

I called and a female representative answered, I didn’t catch her name she sounded older. She was extremely rude never giving me time to speak, asking “why are you even calling?” Never had such horrible interaction with a representative before… shame SA city workers and representatives have become lazy and uncaring.
Kind of out of the way in Davenport, this huge 2 story building has a cornucopia of Central Florida attractions, local history, and jelly, jam, popcorn, orange juice, and numerous other items produced in the immediate area. I had to meet my VA Service Officer there, he drove from Bartow Florida to make it easy for Veterans to meet closer to their home. The attendant was friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave us a local grown orange juice that was the best I ever had.
This place is worth a stop! They have tons of information and brochures on all sorts of topics for Polk County. They have a small (free) museum inside along with a small gift shop, aquarium, and fish pond in the back.

Picked up some tickets for the river cruise and a beautiful art print of San Antonio. Tons of free brochures and catalogs giving info on things to do in the city and surrounding areas.

What a shame, downtown around the river walk area is dirty, smelly and home to many homeless people. Place has gone downhill dramatically over the years. This is the last time I will visit or recommend it to friends. Crime I understand from locals is increasing. Shame!

I will not be going to San Antonio anymore. I do not feel safe there. When the police chief says it's ok to be a criminal and run from a police officer. The police chief just want his officers to wave at the criminals and let them do what they want.
Lots of the brochures and websites I visited stated to visit here to pick up the tickets I ordered online, but they do not do that. There is a coupon in the San Antonio Coupon Book 2022 that says to visit them and make a purchase of $10 or more and get a free gift. You can't purchase anything there and there are no items to give out. What they do have is agents from some company that tries to sell you tourism bundles and packages. These same people are located in the River City Mall as well...if you hear the question are you going to be in town tomorrow? And you do not want to be sold anything keep walking or state you're not interested because a pitch is coming.
Went in today for the free salt scrub and found Laura! She is a wealth of information and is the most personable person on the planet. Though she is tiny, she is definitely mighty and I’m really glad we came in for a visit today. Thank you Laura for all the info regarding boat rides and brochures about our dying plants. We will return.
Best kept secret in Polk County. Great staff, a a fantastic resource to plan your next day trip or week in Central Florida
This is a gem. A small visitor center but has small exhibits about all central Florida has to offer. There are brochures galore and a small gift shop. There's a small playground, restrooms, and two porches complete with comfy chairs and a small pond with fish. You may even see a gator! The staff is so friendly and helpful. This a must if you are visiting central Florida for the first time and even if you've lived here all your life, there's so many activities and places to go that you probably didn't know about! You can also get a yummy OJ sample!

I stopped by this morning and Ben helped me get a great room downtown, was just an all around helpful friendly guy. A true asset to represent this beautiful City of San Antonio..
Very clean place to stop, rest, get information, and some snacks. Very friendly and helpful employees. We go there on Thursdays and set up at the Farmers Market.
