I live in Philadelphia. I purchased a fishing reel online in AUGUST. I went down to pick it up after work on a Friday before my fishing trip. I called prior to make sure everything is good to go. The store associate says, "If you got the email its ready it is." So, I drive down 2 hours to get the reel. They had no idea about my order when I get there. They then send me a cancel order email as they are looking for the reel in the store. They come out and tell me we didn't actually have it; it was an error. Well, I paid for it using AFFIRM so west marine got their money. Its October still making 80 dollars payments to AFFIRM. West marine has not told affirm they canceled it, nor have they sent me the reel I bought. So 3 months later I'm still paying for something I don't have. Affirm says talk to west marine and west marine won't talk to me on the phone and will not respond to my emails.
Looking at Fiberglass repair kits. Just finished labor day sales and saved a bundle. As always you have to shop around, but remember they back up their products and don't quibble about a return.
They had the part I needed but the price was almost twice of what I normally have paid. They ate open on Sundays so that's a good thing.
Me and my fiancé wanted to try something new and this was perfect. It was a little scary cause we had never been on jet-skis but the people running it were super nice and explained everything! Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

i booked here for me and my niece to ride 2 jetskis and it was awesome. very professional and friendly staff!... i had an issue with booking online accidentally charged my card twice. so i called a couple days later to resolve. This was the easiest charge removal ive ever had. 3 min conversation and Sergio corrected the entire situation. This is a model for business...i will definitely be back thank you jetski chicago 😎💪

1st time kayaking. Renting a kayak was easy. The launch point and stream was beginner friendly.
Great experience, took the dog and wife, had a great time. Rented a canoe, saw some nice wildlife and relaxed a little.

This was my first time Kayaking and I literally went back to shore and cried out of fear, I built up the confidence and trust and went down the stream and back on my own. After my experience I felt overwhelmed with accomplishment and courage, I will recommend everyone to follow through with this magical experience.
If you need boat spare parts, don't bother stopping at this West Marine. They have a parts counter and if you are lucky enough to actually find someone there, they will just tell you what isle the parts are in. They provide no assistance in helping you find a part. Plus the shelves are typically half empty so even if you know what part you need, they probably don't have it in stock. Now if you just need a pair of boat shoes or a new shirt, you will find it here.
I recently bought a Ryker from a dealer so sadly I didn't have any history on it. Turns out there was a recall. Route 1 performed the recall and per request checked the fluids for me to make sure everything looked good. Also as I am new to Rykers I asked about a couple of sounds I was not used to. All was good and no charge! (I was planning to pay for checking it out). And best of all low key, no upselling! A great experience!

We were able to find the gear we wanted, but one staff person in particular did the absolute bare minimum to help. He just seemed really checked out. I don't know if he was underpaid or disgruntled, but he seemed utterly uninterested in helping us.
I ordered a 2024 Cam Am Spyder from this dealership and the process has gone extremely smooth. The salesperson Aaron has been super responsive and I really like how easy it was to put a deal together with them. I am a boat dealer myself and appreciate a user friendly sales person and sales process. I was able to give them a deposit over Text message, I received a nice welcome letter, and the price was more than fair. This is the second purchase I have made with Route 1. The first item, a Polaris Sling Shot, went smoothly also, so it was a no brainer to return to them for my Spyder purchase. Also, their facility is top notch.
I’ve been doing business with Route One for years now. This is my second unit I have bought from them and that is for a reason they have always taken care of me extremely well from the purchase of the vehicle and working with me on price all the way to service and repairs, my salesman was Charles. Leedy went right back to him for my next unit always a pleasure working with him. I brought my new four wheeler in for some upgrades. And we ran into a bit of an issue with the transmission, Mike Fletcher the service advisor has always taken great care of me for all my service and repairs, extremely knowledgeable and a joy to work with. They had my transmission repaired replaced the next day Arsenio was my technician spoke with him in depth about the work we were doing and he did an amazing job. Had the bike ready to go the next day. It was a big job to complete, and he did not hesitate to get started that day. I greatly appreciate Route One and I will always continue to do business here!

Parts dept sold me a bad drive shaft, which broke a brand new bearing that I also purchased. They exchanged the shaft but refused to exchange the bearing while chuckling, so now i'm out 135 dollars due to their product. "EDIT: After speaking with parts department manager, He made it right. So point is If you seem to have parts issues just speak with the parts manager. Nice Guy and he understood."
DO NOT CHOOSE UHAUL AND DO NOT DO ANY FAVORS FOR THEM, AND DONT RETURN HERE EITHER. I rented a 20'uhaul truck cost 153.00 plus 30 ins fee and $100 deposit which uhaul doesnt tell you is required when you make reservation and as a courtesy for uhaul towed a 5x8 trailer from Georgia to a storage facility in jacksonville, called uhaul to have an extension for truck because I didn't think our belongings were going to fit and storage place was closed the next day to purchase another unit incase it was needed. I was able to fit it all in the unit, drove the truck the next day to the delivery destination, took pics time stamped of being delivered a day early on Xmas morning but because I didn't use their app for delivery drop, the vendor is charging me for two extra days for the truck and trailer because the vendor computer was not working right to receive truck and trailer totaling $218.63 extra. Uhaul even asked me after I dropped equipment how the service was and I said it was great and that was before I kept getting notifications for un explained charges on bank from uhaul due to vendor
Route1 was awesome from the beginning, starting with the first phone call to inquire about product. The whole team was great. Our sales pro Robert took care of us and went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special all while dealing with tight timelines to make it happen. He quarterbacked everyone to make sure I was a Happy Customer. Brittney was so helpful and Glenn made the paper quick and easy. True professionals. These guys are the best. I’ve used route 1 so many times. 2015 outlander 800 XMR. 2016 outlander 570 XMR. 2018 Ranger 1000 EPS duel overhead cam. 2020 Defender HD10 XMR. 2023 super73 adventure R. 2023 super73 RX Malibu RSD. Every time I come in I’m never pressured into buying anything. They genuinely want you happy when you leave. Shout out to Christian, Bradley and Tim for always taking care of me with parts, sales and service. I’ll be seeing y’all again in the future.

Route one motorsports is a really good bike shop. They have everything you need from accessories to watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs, but not only that their service department went above and beyond to work on my dirtbike. It’s an older dirtbike and Mike the service advisor was really helpful in so many ways I definitely recommend if you go there talk to Mike he will definitely help you out with whatever you need he will go above and beyond to get things done they really have good stuff there too. Their prices are very reasonable and they’re very fast at what they do. They’re very quick and precise. Definitely will recommend to family and friends again ask for Mike in service he will take care of you.
I went here with my dad last week and had a blast! I’m from the PNW so it was my first time on a cable! I ride a lot of boat so I picked it up super easily. Employees were nice and gave me tips on how to land different tricks. Definitely coming back when I’m in a own again!
Went on my own to a Get up guarantee lesson that allows you to stay for 4 hrs on the cables afterwards and it was awesome! Listened to all the advice provided by Jordan, and then after I was standing on the standard cable in no time. During the lesson he got me standing with confidence in what felt like right away! The rest of my time I was having fun, falling, and getting a great feel of comfort on the board. Can’t wait to come back!
This place is amazing! I love the hang out area and the food was great too! The cable park is why I visited and I'll be back again to try some of the advanced features. The staff here are all very nice too :)
We had a blast at OWC, our 2nd time and like the 1st it was a great experience. Staff is always friendly and professional. Great place for a hot FL summer day.
I am a local and have been coming to OWC for years now. However I have been taking many more boat sets in the last few years as Wake Surfing has been a bigger part of my riding. The coaches and boat experience has been amazing. Even hosting an event put on by Anns Angels which our special needs daughter loved. I have been more impressed in the recent past than i ever have.
Amazing place and great staff, we went to have our kids wakeboard, we usually wakeboard behind our boat, they had so much fun, Nathan the instructor was really nice and patient and spent extra time as needed to make our kids safe and comfortable in the cable, Markita (i hope im spelling her name right) was very welcoming at the counter and really helped us and was super friendly, we will be back for sure!!

The redesign a few years back emphasized "soft goods" over parts and supplies. I understand that's their moneymaker but it reduces the appeal of the store.
The biggest deal is that expertise is lacking in the staff. It isn't unusual for me to offer an Associate a lifeline when they're floundering. They need a better system for giving advice.
IT systems are poor. Rigging at this store is excellent. Port Supply/West Marine Pro is mediocre.

What a blast! I took a surf lesson with Jordan. He was super helpful, upbeat, and encouraging. Before my surf lesson I spent the morning on the beginner cable course, and Jordan came by and gave me some pointers, which was above and beyond. It was a really awesome experience and wonderful hospitality from the entire staff!
The sales staff were very helpful, however, the -60 antifreeze was out of stock. This seems to be a usual occurrence.
they seem to be closing out their apparel dept. leaving some very good buys (even though limited).

Fantastic customer service by one and all in this store. They called around to other West Marine stores to find the radar that I needed, I ordered it in and hey held it for a family member who has a vehicle to pick up for me. Awesome. Local marine electronic stores estimated a September install. We are good to go.
So we needed new lines for our new boat but our schedules just haven't worked out to get to West Marine. I decided that I would leave my Baltimore office after work during rush hour and go to Annapolis to get this done. I have worked with the Annapolis West Marine rigging shop before and they were great. I checked to see when the store was closing and all was good.
When I got down there after a no fun rush hour drive I found that the rigging shop was closed. Ugh; I was ready to scream. But the rigging shop guy (rats, I can't remember his name) saw me. I told him no problem, I realized that he was closed. His reply was, they will be closed after taking care of me. Then he spent 40-45 minutes helping me with specs/choices and then getting my order in. And then he said that he would send my order to the store near my boat's marina so that I didn't have to trek to Annapolis again. Fantastic service and I was really grateful!
After that other store team members helped me with sunglasses and discussing nav pod choices. The young lady at checkout was amazingly pleasant too!

The wakeboarding attraction was a total adrenaline rush! I had an absolute blast riding the waves and performing tricks on the wakeboard. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent guidance for beginners like me. It's a must-visit spot for all thrill-seekers and water sports enthusiasts. I can't wait to go back and catch some more air on the wakeboard! 🏄♂️🌊🤙

First time coming to the North shore of Port Washington. This gem had all of the boating accessories we were looking for at a discounted price. We received great customer service with our questions answered by knowledgeable staff.
This is a good sized store with plenty of clothing, as well as regular marine gear you usually find at West Marine. The shelves were well stocked and neat. The parts counter was helpful and the cashiers friendly. All in all happy with my experience on this visit. If you found my review or photos helpful please give a thumbs up 👍
