Amazing campus. My daughter is a freshman here and future class of 2027.
Absolutely beautiful Jesuit University. It's also unique.
Georgetown University is an academic gem nestled in the vibrant heart of Washington, D.C. This historic institution is not just a place of learning but a true haven for those seeking knowledge and growth.

The stunning campus itself is a sight to behold. From the iconic Healy Hall with its striking architecture to the lush green spaces, Georgetown offers a serene and inspiring environment conducive to both study and reflection. The professors are not only experts in their fields but also passionate educators who genuinely care about their students' success. The diverse range of programs and courses ensures that there's something for everyone, from the humanities to the sciences.

What sets Georgetown apart is its commitment to service and social justice. The university's Jesuit values are reflected in its dedication to making a positive impact on society. Whether it's through community service, international programs, or research initiatives, Georgetown encourages students to be global citizens and change-makers.

Georgetown's prime location in the nation's capital offers unparalleled opportunities for internships, networking, and cultural enrichment. The proximity to government institutions, NGOs, and multinational corporations opens doors to a world of possibilities for career development.

Moreover, the Georgetown community is incredibly welcoming and inclusive. The diverse student body hails from all corners of the globe, enriching the campus with a variety of perspectives and cultures. The sense of belonging and camaraderie among students is truly remarkable.

If you're looking for a top-notch education in a picturesque setting with a strong commitment to service and social responsibility, look no further. Georgetown is where you'll find academic excellence, personal growth, and a supportive community all in one place.
Great teachers, departments & academic record. Good support for military personnel, diverse students & Spanish/English learners.

Very big place. Lots of buildings, you would think it's it's own town.
My family and I took a tour of the campus and found it to be extremely clean and of course the architecture is stunning. This review is only for the campus and not academics.

It's cute when institutions think "Private" means Pretentious but can't even compare or compete with institutions in AL, NC, or CO. The programs here are stale and need updates, especially for online students. Yea, everything in NYC it's overpriced and undervalued— so if ur only buying the name. You could do better.

This review is on the campus and walkability of Georgetown University, not the academics, which are indisputably excellent. That said, the campus is a bit worn and in need of some renovations. It’s on a hill so you will get your exercise if you walk here. The buildings are almost all brick with forgettable architecture. Of course the nearby city of Georgetown is lovely and lively so there’s that.

American University has the most beautiful campus in DC! It’s lovely out there. Most buildings are renovated and campus is not overwhelmingly large. AU offers tons of networking opportunities for their students as well as on campus work opportunity for both domestic and international students. Just ask! Professors in Kogod and SIS are exceptional and you can learn from them so much outside of the classroom. No matter where you come from - you will find your crowd and feel belonged to. Best four years of my life!
Amazing historical campus. Definitely worth the visit for those that like to experience such prestigious institutions.
Scrolling through google maps I couldn’t help but find this beautiful campus. Taking a virtual walk through it, I found peace and serenity in my heart, whether it was a work of the all mighty lord or my own shortcomings in getting out of my house, I will forever be left in awe of this wonderful campus <3

Spent time at Columbia during my PhD as a visiting student and loved the inspiring campus and its world class research facilities! I highly recommend a visit to Butler Library if you get the chance as an international student.
Good University with a solid CS program.

I am a healthcare traveler from New Jersey, working at MedSTAR hospital for a few months and noticed this beautiful campus not far, so spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the architecture, the memorial statues and the Basilica Cathedral. Seems like a great location with the easy access from several points and if you’re looking for a great place to do a walk or explore, definitely worth your time to visit this location. Looking forward to it touring the inside of the Basilica next time I visit there. Definitely opportunities for some awesome photos.

We were at Georgetown for GAAP weekend. They were awesome and the university campus was amazing! The best college visit we've had!! We had full access to facilities including all of the dorms. Other colleges are not that open which makes you wonder what they are hiding. The food on campus was great with lots of vatiety which is important to us. What I like the most at Georgetown is their sense of individual importance combined with growing younto be inclusive and understanding of others. They really create a feeling of Belonging from day 1!!

I spend valuable years here as CAS student. I really miss student life. Some of my professors were life changing and some were truly awful. I don’t wish them upon my worse enemies. It was really hard as freshmen and sophomore to get good professors. All good professors were already taken when we had opportunities to enroll in course.
That being said if you don’t get the scholarship, it’ll very hard to attend here. Tuition and boarding were ridiculous back then and now it’s even more expensive.

Columbia University is one of the ivy league schools located in the heart center of NYC with historic landmark buildings like Butler Library, Low Memorial Library, Earl Hall, St.Paul Chapel and other interesting sites around the Morningside campus like Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine. It is also one of the oldest universities in US. Enjoy walking in and around the university or relax on the grounds or library stairs.
Awesome campus, with a plethora of amazing architectural buildings onsite. Would highly recommend visiting and it a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC and take a relaxing walk around the campus.

It is one of the most beautiful places in the area. If you're visiting Boston, you should definitely take the green line or a car to Chestnut Hill to see Boston College and the area. The pictures speak for themselves. Note that there are not many places to eat around just by walk, but a few min of driving or bus and you can find many places. There's also Playa bowls, just near the T station with great bowls and smoothies.

Housing was terrible. They did not have housing available so student had to stay in hotel. When it was available student had 2 days to move. Moved in to Longwood Residence Hall which was the worse. Four room mates with no room for desk or your essentials. Have to keep clothes in suitcase down the hallways. I was expecting more from this school .Tuition is 40k per semester and the least they could provide was decent housing. Housing is important to promote kid’s education and mental health. This is a very stressful environment for students. Their disability department was not very helpful and gave student attitude instead of providing assistance. We came with decent expectations but student was not provided with essentials needed for growth in this school. Very disappointing!!!! I do NOT recommend this school.

Beautiful campus well maintained. Although old it still has many modern buildings and they are always improving. Lots of history there. No subway stop at the campus but nonetheless is worth going over there. Campus bookstore is huge.
Great tour! I am very impressed with the school and the way they handle being a Jesuite school. You feel like attending as a non-catholic is definitely possible.

This review is just the physical campus and has nothing to do with the school's curriculum or getting accepted into the University. That said, this is the most beautiful campus I have ever seen in my life. It was a complete surprise and got me completely off guard. All of the buildings have the same gothic, sandstone color vibe. The campus was spectacularly clean and pristine.

I attended the reunion this weekend as a husband. It was an overall pleasurable experience.

The campus itself is very nice and meticulously maintained. Bathroom facilities adequate but nothing extraordinary. The BBQ on Saturday afternoon was nice because it was on campus in a very nice area. Music a bit loud for mid afternoon. Food, not great. I really liked the coozie they gave out.

The class party Saturday night for the 10 year peeps was fascinating. It was inside a recreation center which seemed like an odd choice given the plethora of really nice areas on campus. The food selection there I thought was good but many in the group strongly disagreed with that sentiment. The tortellini was on point even tho it seemed to light a bit of a fire under my seat if you catch my drift. I was a little disappointed at all events that I had to pay 7$ for a bud light after already purchasing tickets. I will say we popped over to the 5 year reunion and wow, what a treat that event was.

Overall it was a nice weekend, BC seemed to do my wife well as she is very smart. Her friends are also very cool. So I would recommend the college. We may send our kids there if my plan to hit the lottery multiple times comes to fruition. Mods for life.

Beautiful European style Catholic Basilicata. Highly recommend a visit with a hour or two to walk around.

It's certainly one of the premium college of this region run by Catholic church. It's very beautiful and lovable place. The library is a lovely place and one of the best in the country. Most of the students are aspiring achievers, get influenced to become one.

Limited number of parking. So plan to go using other mode of travel or check before leaving.
We stopped for a quick walk around the university buildings, and it was worth it! It reminded me of Harry Potter somehow. Beautiful main building. We parked outside for free in a 2 hour parking (no meter). The neighborhood is beautiful too

My daughter attending this college it way up in the Bronx nice quiet area. As any place gives there are ups and downs. The campus is old Christian ✝️ setting from the the 1800 . The buildings are old some other are newer . It is great school and she will be graduating this next year.
Impressive cathedral but the rest is pretty soulless and the laundrette washing machine broke down with all my clothes in.
Beautiful and massive church. The biggest catholic church in America. It has a huge free parking. A worth visit.
I really want to join this university in coming fall, actually I am from Afghanistan 🇦🇫 and I am studying in India now!
Hopefully I got the chance to have study there in CBU.

It's an average college, no particular major that's really standout around the country or the world. Courses are not that challenged compare to some other higher ranking schools and that probably explains why graduates don't get the best careers, you get what you work for.
One thing should be mentioned is that dorms have a lot of rats.

My friend is away at a summer camp and given the precarious infrastructure of your so called "university" has no wifi. He is unable to communicate with friends and family. This is outrageous, its unfair. Please fix this ASAP.
The food in the main cafeteria was terrible. I liked the benefits but that's it, they have small dorms that share a bathroom.

I have received my master of law degree (international legal studies) from the Washington College of Law of this school. It’s a very internationalized and excellent university. I really miss it.
100% one the best choices I’ve ever made in life was to attend CBU for undergrad & grad school. These incredible professors believed in me when no one else did, including myself. Now, I desire to become a professor like the ones who’ve so lovingly and wisely imparted their knowledge and good attributes to me. Recommend strongly to anyone considering this university.

Great school. Beautiful Campus. I really enjoyed my time as a student here!
GRADUATED FROM CBU IN 1969. BECAME A CORPORATE SALES TRAINER FOR TOP COMPANIES LIKE WRIGLEY GUM, HERSHEY CHOCOLATE . IM NOW RETIRED AND THANK ALL THE PROFESSORS THAT WERE MY TEACHERS...
Pricey. Not worth taking out student loans for. Overall not a good investment for African Americans and 1st generation college students. Your achievement gap will be wide due to you being an expensive quota just to get you there. If you have student loans on your financial aid package, run because its not a good ROI.
Stayed here in the summer of 2005 for my internship in Washington DC and the experience was absolutely fabulous with the dining halls and the gym being my favorites. No complaints at all and excellent customer service from the residence hall staff. I sometimes wish I studied Accounting at this university than at the one I studied at. Great school and great residence halls. Highly recommend! A+

That campus was nice and personal . Warning there are a lot of stairs. I loved the unique dining hall options. Overall I was quite disappointed with the presented dorm I saw on the tour. There were flys in the bathroom and holes in the furniture. I was disappointed that was what I was supposedly to get excited for. Other than that the tour guide was nice and the campus was beautiful. Please try and fix your furniture for future students.
I am a current student and I dislike this school for many reasons. Campus is far too small, feels just like high school, majority of students are stuck up, arts department might as well be nonexistent... just to name a few.
