I had my baby here and I was treated with respect and attention, I’m doing all of my postpartum care also. My baby is healthy and she is using one of their pediatric primary care providers for follow up. I would recommend any mom or mom to be to try them out Excellent services.
I went to this hospital because I was pregnant and was bleeding.I would thought my condition would be treated like an emergency it was not. I was waiting over an hour b4 someone come and attend to me I had to advocate for myself because I want getting looked at. The nurse assistant came draw my blood the ultra sound guy came the same time but I had to get my blood draw(I would think the ultra sound should be priority since I was pregnant) saw the guy again after my blood finish getting drawn ask about the ultra sound he couldn't take me had to go to a nurse again and advocate for myself then she took me after that waited another hour and half before I speak to the actual nurse then 30 mi later the dr come it was a terrible experience I had a miscarriage and sitting there with no one caring about me I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Checked in 10:00 checked out after 3:00pm Unacceptable.
If I could give this negative 5 stars, I would. This is absolutely positively. The worst hospital I have ever dealt with. I wasn't a patient there, but my close friend is and has been stuck there against her will and they will not let her go. Not to mention the nurses and doctors are very careless and do not have their patient's best interest in mind. I do not recommend anyone to go to this hospital. If you do, you might get stuck. Also, they are all about the money
I delivered at this hospital 1/7/2025. I am very well pleased with the level of care I received from the Doctors, RNs,CNA, SaNitation staff and even the person who takes your food to your room. Nurse Jessica in labour and delivery was very attentive, empathetic and professional. Nurse Abrahams, Nurse Nadine….every single RN that catered to me, whilst I was at mommy and baby (wish I remembered all the names) made my stay at the hospital very comfortable. My room was clean and garbage disposal was done multiple times throughout the day. This hospital is very baby friendly and I love that. The NICU doctors and nurses are equally as friendly and professional…honorable mention Nurse Daisy, Nurse Christine and nurse Nicole…..thank you all so very much. Highly recommend this hospital
THE WORST HOSPITAL! Not sure how they got so much ratings!! These young nurses and doctors are terrible!!! Don’t do it for the money! Do it because you love it! All they do is laugh and chat! Been waiting for 7 freaking hours!! All they did was take blood from me. That’s it.
The doctors & nurses here are kind.. the hospital is always clean. But the pharmacy system is a mess! You cannot order refills more than 7 days in advance of the refill due, and when you order 7 days prior they take 2 weeks to fill it so u go a week with no medicine!
The attention is excellent, they don't judge you for making the decision, they give you support without making you feel guilty, every woman knows why she made that decision, whether it was due to carelessness, what happened or not, but in this country it is very difficult and even more so when you just arrived and you didn't come to take advantage, but with goals and plans, that remorse doesn't go away, but everything in time, cheer up, mommies, what we've been through before.
Don't be afraid ! This was the best experience that you could have in a situation like this. All the stuff were completely non-judgmental and extremely nice and new exactly how to keep you comfortable during the process. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.
I’ve been here before and my partner has came with me & has sat in there with me. I came here today with my sister as a support system & I was told that i had to go sit and wait in my car during the 3 hour process & I’m a black women. 2 white couples came in there and the men were able to stay and sit in there with their partner the entire time but I was told I had to leave and sit in my car because of a new policy. That made zero sense to me and the people working the front desk were very rude and had attitudes. I do NOT recommend this place. The woman who escorted my sister out to my car, I’m assuming she was a nurse told me that I did not have to sit in my car for three hours & she told me That I could’ve sat inside with my sister just like the other people did. The staff at the front desk is rude
Suffering from a medical issue that resulted in me having to see a doctor at this clinic, I arrived depressed, overwhelmed with anxiety, panic, and suffering. The staff was nothing more but supportive, loving, caring, and provided all I needed. The NP even called me a week later to check up on me and ensure my physical and mental health was better, despite the awful loss I had to endure. I am forever thankful for the staff…. All staff at this location. They are more than enough. Thank you so much for loving me.
My best girl is getting an attorney after they left her with an infection that almost killed her. She became septic because they botched the procedure.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this clinic and every single person working there. They took an absolutely unbearable situation and made it as seamless and comforting as possible. Special shout out to my "assigned" nurse (not sure if I should be posting her name publicly on this review) but I will forever hold a special space in my heart for her.

This clinic receives a 10 stars in my book. From the initial phone call to set up my appointment to the last day of my procedure, I was met with nothing but respect, compassion, and most importantly, support from the staff members of this clinic throughout the whole duration of my visit. I will forever be grateful for my experience here. I especially want to thank miss Hannah for being next to my side in every step of such a transformative and intimate process. I thank all the ladies of this clinic for helping me close out this chapter of my journey, allowing me to create a new life suitable for my next pregnancy. Thank you.

I'm so happy I went with this clinic. The staff are fantastic. They are compassionate, kind, caring, gentle, and made it such a safe and comforting space. I was very scared going into the process, especially with how far along I was, but I felt no judgment from anyone. I felt incredibly supported and reassured. They were excellent at explaining the whole process and walking me through it. They did a great job at helping me manage the anxiety I was feeling, and made it as painless as possible. What I was scared would be a traumatic experience, was actually quite healing for me. They gave me a second chance at being able to start a family on my own terms. This team is literally a group of angels here to make this world a better place, and I don't know what I would have done without them. Words cannot possibly describe how grateful I am to have been in their care.

The staff was incredibly rude, they passed me around like an unwanted stray dog and my husband was barley allowed to stay by my side given the circumstances THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF because they had been sent my entire medical file from my doctor. I never met the surgeon or doctor, and the anesthesiologist looked me in the eye and said “once you take you pill, you know you can’t go back” and then laughed when I started sobbing, like I chose to be there (clarification- I AM PRO CHOICE. I was emotional due to my miscarriage. Who tf says that to a grieving woman) anyways- the procedure was done, they had me leaving not even 30 minutes after waking from anesthesia. On top of that I had blood POURING down my legs and it wasn’t a concern for them. I got home. I passed out. Went to the hospital. Lost so much blood I almost died. I needed another procedure because THIS CLINIC LEFT EXTRA MATERIAL in my body. We called them and we were HUNG UP ON and I haven’t heard back from them or my OB.

Was able to speak with a doctor/nurse within 2-3 days after filling out the forms online (this was the weekend of Christmas so I wasn't exactly expecting a speedy response). Received my package 2-3 days later. The text support was helpful and everything went as well as it could have. 5-6 weeks later I felt like I was having complications and was able to speak with someone qualified within 15-20 minutes. They were very professional and eased my worries (2 different doctors/nurses on separate occasions), gave me lab orders for blood tests, as well as a doctor's note for missing work. Overall great experience. Would DEFINITELY recommend and use these services again
Hannah the NP, Lorrine at the front desk (i hoped i spelled her name right) they were extremely helpful and friendly. I was running behind for my appt and they were still able to accommodate me. I felt extremely comfortable during my time there and after my visit i felt all my questions were answered. Clean and comfortable office, i would recommend them!
Compassionate, reassuring, patience and understanding are only some of the words I can find to describe my time at the clinic. The compassion I have found at my time in this clinic have made me find closure in the hardest decision of my life. Every staff member I have met will forever be imprinted in my heart as they were exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. They gave me all the tools necessary understand all of my options and when decided they made me felt loved and supported. This place is unlike any other you will ever find. The decision will always be difficult but knowing that these amazing staffs are somewhere around to help others like me will always give me a comfort in life.
First I want to start off by saying everyone was so kind and made me feel comfortable. I came from a different state bc the state I live in is a no go. Everyone communicated throughout the process when I had questions and concerns. Also funding was available which was a huge help. The doctor asked me if I was okay before being put to sleep which made me comfortable as well.. Thank you guy’s sooo much.. This choice was never easy to make but I’m glad my friend told me about this place.. I was able to catch my flight right after with no complications.. I’d highly recommend!

From start to finish, it's been great. Found it online, opted for the abortion pills at home. Took about 15 mins to fill out the info online. They say give 24-48 hrs to be approved. I was approved 2 hrs later. I also opted for expedited

I came for an iud removal only to be told that the person I brought to support me through the appointment could not come in with me, nor could they stay in the office's waiting room, so I left without being seen. This information was not displayed online or communicated by phone. Their website states “It is always optimal to have a support person with you for a visit to undergo a surgical procedure” and while I understand an iud removal is not quite surgical, I had hoped that support people would be accepted for all procedures. Additionally, the doctors name is not available on the website. For interested individuals, his name is Dr. Mark Clark.

I am writing my review way to late but the fact that still vividly remember just goes to show you how amazing these people were. 3 years ago I traveled to DuPont Clinic from Florida and had the pleasure of having Dr. Jessica and Camille at my services. (There were more people at my service, but these two people stood out the most). Dr. Jessica listened to my every word, worries, and concerns. She assured me that everything that was going on with my baby was nothing that I could have prevented. The development and growth of the fetus naturally went wrong. Camille was such an angel and never left my side. I cried the whole time, and she never tried to get me to stop crying; she allowed me to process all my feelings. She even whipped some of my tears away. Her emotional support was top-tier, and I'll forever thank her till this day. 3 years later, I have nothing but good things to say about this Clinic and would highly recommend this clinic to another pregnant patient.

McLeod is a great doctor, makes you feel safe , and staff in the room assisting him showed nothing but care , thank you I know it’s not something any woman wants to go through but . At least you know from mistakes to keep your head up …. Make the right decision for your future. But understand to stay protected ladies but great clinic. Amazing staff and Dr.Reeves is the best! The energy in the office is beautiful and you will never feel alone in the process..I came on my own (no support) and I can honestly say everyone made me feel at home. The rooms are nice and clean and it doesn’t have that eerie feeling. They give great resources and will help as much as they can. We were there due to heartbreaking medical reasons, and we are forever grateful that the staff were able to make us feel well supported and comfortable throughout the entire visit. The location is very clean and welcoming, and the process allows for you to avoid seeing other patients. Everything was thoroughly explained and taken at our pace with plenty of opportunity for questions or concerns. They also follow up with resources, suggestions, and compassion following the visit. I searched so many places trying to figure out where I wanted to go. I wouldn’t have gone if I didn’t need to, but that was the case and I’m so blessed to have found you guys. The way I was taken care of and treated was immaculate. I hope I never have to come back for anything negative, but if that so happens to be the case I will be back here and if I know of anyone else that needs help, I will most definitely be sending them here. There's no way I could possibly put into words how amazing these people are but i will try. Every single person I met at dupont was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. They help you in so many ways In your time of need. They make a hard life changing moment so much easier. My doula Tamia is God sent. She is an angel from above. I will never forget any of these people but mostly her. I had my mom, my best friend with me as my support person but for someone who does not have someone and goes alone, believe me when I say, you will not feel alone at any moment through this process once you get there AND once you leave. They are supportive every step of the way. And do everything they can to make you feel extremely comfortable. I could write an entire book about how amazing they are. I almost cried when I had to leave them because I wanted to take Tamia home with me. Dupont truly cares about you, friend to friend. This is more then a job to them. They truly want to help you and love doing it. Do not second guess coming here. No decision is an easy decision but you know deep down what is the right decision, FOR YOU. Be selfish. This is YOUR life. You are NOT alone. You are loved. I love you. After I found out about my situation I went through a roller coaster of emotions but after leaving dupont today after my 3 day procedure, I've never felt more sure of myself. I'm now comfortable and content. I know I made the right decision for myself. I thank you all at dupont from my whole heart. I love you all. Especially thank you Tamia for being you. Do not worry if you cannot afford it whole cost. There is many funding places that will help you as much as they can, dupont will help you in any way they can. They want to make this as little stress for you as possible.
My first time was amazing and this time too, the nurses, receptionist, everyone was amazing until I hit the operating room. Immediately felt uncomfortable this time it was a different anesthesiologist man this time and he gave off really bad vibes. I couldn’t feel anything last time but this time when he put the fluid through the iv I will never forget that burning sensation of my arm.
I opted for a discreet at home service and I did overnight shipment which arrived the next day. Also received everything including pain meds, maxi pads, 1 hot pad and details instructions for each step of the way. They even texted me throughout the pill procedure making sure I had any questions and that I was doing it correctly. I really felt cared for and love the attentiveness. I d definitely recommend, great service!

I had a true five star experience here. Easily one of the best practices that I have ever visited, and I have visited many (as pre med). I was treated with such dignity and respect. The receptionist was great; crystal clear and empathetic! The nurse was great; clear, empathetic, went over my chart with me after vitals; went over my chart with the doctor; communicated well with the doctor during my visit. And I loved Doctor Clark! Great bedside manner! Washed his hands! Communicated at my level! Addressed all of my concerns! You don't get this level of professionalism anywhere anymore, so I was shocked to have such a great experience.
I came in on 5/31/23 at 11am ready to start the process of my termination. The staff was amazing. Everybody was very nice and offered their comfort. I felt like a priority. I felt important from the moment i was greeted. The staff makes sure that you understand every piece of what’s going on through out the entire process. I appreciated their clarity. Anita really made me feel like I had someone in my corner that understood me… & Dr. Kupperstock was amazing. I’m crying as I write this because I’ve never felt so shook up from an experience but I also never felt so safe and sure that I would be taken care of… this is my public THANK YOU. I honestly do not see how this clinic is only rated 3 stars. The receptionists, nurses & Dr was so amazing to me @ my visit. They were all very patience & passionate while servicing me. Not only was they caring but the process was very fast , in & out appointment. I'll recommend this clinic to anyone ! It was a hr drive from my house but it was definitely worth it. Thank you again to the Potomac family team! Keep up y'all dedication!
This clinic was, not say the best experience, but it was the best way for my partner to experience her abortion. Her dula (Bria) and care guide (Bailey) made sure my partner was felt comfortable and safe, and explained the whole process to her so she could understand what was happening and let her know that at any point before the time period she could stop at anytime. Dr. Russo and Dr. Jeanlus we're very helpful throughout the process to make sure at anytime anything went wrong they would be available and I mean at "anytime". They were very kind to me allowing me to be there for my partner and made me feel comfortable and safe knowing she was also.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly. I had to have a dnc done because I had a non viable pregnancy and my ob couldn’t get me in until next week and I was feeling sick from it. This place got me in quick, anesthesiologist was very nice and quick getting me to sleep so I didn’t have to sit there worrying myself. Dr was nice as well and the lady’s in recovery were great.

Later they transferred to the Queens woman’s center. So far my experience is great. It’s true that it take forever to get service in emergency just like any other hospital.

I've come here like 4 times and brought my ladies here several times. My throuples don't happen without a negative battery of tests. So this place is great. And Ladies make ya men get tested so they cam shoot up the club all day. Lol 😆
This was seriously an amazing experience given the situation. First off they are in a office high rise with many other medical offices and business in the same building which is amazing cause it makes your experience that much more discreet and there’s no way for protesters to harass you or know what your even there for. Second the front staff is phenomenal I was greeted with nothing but kindness and compassion. They even have snacks which was so nice because I hadn’t ate and was feeling pretty nauseous. The rooms were absolutely pristine she even dimmed the lights had oil incense going and music playing it was so calming in a stressful situation. The dr explained everything to the Max and made sure I felt completely comfortable and understood everything. Traveling to md from a heart beat state he’s also explained to me the follow up process and made sure I had everything I needed before going home. They provide you with EVERYTHING including nausea medication ibuprofen a plan b and a follow up pregnancy test. They even give you an extra “just in case” dose in the event you don’t pass everything. I can’t stress enough how amazing this clinic is during a trying time. Thank you so much for everything carafem! PS they also have financial aide options available if you meet the requirements this is so helpful especially if you have to travel to another state for a procedure right now.

I’ve been going here since 2000s. They’re very knowledgeable and I have actually skipped the trip to my actual doctor because they have more resources and info than them. I’ve even gone here while I was pregnant and got better answers than my own doctor. You get better help too because it’s their specialty. I never really had to wait king ever but then again I’ve only gone in the morning. Since the pandemic, then changed some things, like they are more safer with COVID and there is social distracting practicing in there. You don’t have to sit anyone, which is actually comforting that you don’t have to Sit next to anyone. The chairs are all 6 feet apart. Confidential and reliable. It’s a clean place and informative. There’s a TV while you wait which gives even more info. Pretty good.
I've been to this location twice. Once in 2008 and again in 2015. Now 2021 and I have to get another abortion... I don't plan on going to any other clinic besides the MFPC College Park location

I highly recommend. The office is extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. The doctor was very friendly and professional. The prices are also affordable.
Top notch quality care. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the doctor was beyond patient, accommodating, and friendly. The office was clean and nicely decorated , I was in and out with no wait whatsoever. They took my insurance, and made me feel super comfortable. After I left they texted me personally (not automized) and followed up to make sure I didn’t have any questions and to continuously check on me throughout the entire process. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they are there. I literally did not have one complaint. If I could give more stars I would!

I just bled my insides out on a table and onto the floor. The nurse brought me clorox sproay and paper towels and had ME clean it up as I continured to bleed in pain. VERY detached, un professional rude staff.

I wanted to write an honest review for someone who may have to go through what I did. My baby stopped growing at 15 weeks. My dr referred me to dr gohari at the greenbelt office for a d&c. I didn’t realize I was literally going to an abortion clinic. Where I would see other patients willingly aborting their babies, while I was on the other hand devastated that I was in this position and would’ve loved to trade places with these girls who had the choice. I don’t judge anyone on their choice, but it’s not really what you want to be around when you just learned the day before that your baby didn’t make it and now you have to mentally prepare yourself for this procedure. This clinic is intended for abortions, and not the right place for someone who lost their baby out of their control. However, the same procedure as an abortion is still necessary. Yes, the office is in a sketchy area, the building is sketchy, and the pro-life protesters outside the clinic really doesnt help the situation. I almost turned away instantly. Once inside, the medical staff was ok. But they are definitely used to women being there because they want to, and they were confused why I was there. I didn’t choose to be there, I never wanted this. I spent the first couple hours on the verge of tears because I felt so wrong being there. But once I met Dr Gohari, I was instantly comfortable. All I can say is wow, he was unbelievably great. I did not expect such a great dr because of my initial impression. He was so nice, understanding, listened, and made sure he explained everything thoroughly while taking his time. It was the first time I felt any type of relief in my devastating situation. I highly recommend him. He made my experience amazing given the circumstances. If you are on the fence about making the appointment, you really won’t regret making the visit. Hopefully this helps someone who may have to visit for the first time and doesn’t know what to expect.
Wonderful and caring staff, and very comforting environment. I didn’t feel judged at all and they were very patient with me. The entire process was extremely quick, they made me feel as comfortable as I possibly could in the situation I was in. Thank you guys
Updated review, went in for a second appointment almost a year later and still had a fantastic experience. If you have trouble with scheduling, I suggest calling on a Tuesday morning as that’s when they have their new weekly schedule out! I had an insurance issue and was running out of time to get it figured out (less than 24 hrs). They were incredibly patient, helpful, and went way out of their way to ensure everything worked out and that my appointment was kept. On my appointment day as always, they were thourough, understanding, and AMAZING. Thank you for helping so many women and for being a great clinic <3

I don't usually post reviews and this is a long time coming seeing as the Metropolitan Family Planning Clinic has helped me on multiple occasions at multiple locations. I am beyond appreciative and thankful to them, the services that they offer, and the staff that they have. From start to finish everyone is so naturally welcoming and understanding. No one is forceful or influential and they are very thorough with all of the information and examinations that are given. I felt safe from any harm or judgement at all times and I am forever grateful to everyone! May we always live in a world that allows for convenient and safe pregnancy termination options WHATEVER the circumstances may be <3
I went in nervous about an IUD and the doctor was extremely kind and helpful. She wasn't judgmental at all, and was super informative of all the forms of contraception. I loved this office and how easy things were. You had to ring a doorbell to get into the office itself, I liked that because it gave me a sense of security. Highly recommend going here! They're so sweet!
I had an OB/GYN appointment with this practice. It was a great experience the office was very neat and clean . The service that was provided by the medical assistant Miss. Nicole was excellent , very compassionate and understand made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely.

I am new to the area, and after a long search I found a new Doctor! I had a Gyn appointment with Dr. Amir Gohari yesterday and I must say I have found myself a new Gyn. He was very informative and sensitive to my needs as a new patient. The staff members were great! Everyone was very welcoming, and the waiting area was clean. I just want to Thank Dr. Gohari and his staff for a job well done on making me feel welcome!
I VISITED THIS CLINIC LAST WEEK FOR AN ABORTION, FROM START TO FINISH I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE. THERE WERE ESCORT OUTSIDE TO HELP ME IN, THE WAITING AREA WAS CLEAN, THE STAFF MEMBERS WERE GREAT! NICOLE WAS VERY KIND AND WILLING TO LISTEN TO ME SHE EXPLAINED THE PROCESS IN DETAIL, AND SHE ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD BE OKAY AND THAT TO ME WAS VERY COMFORTING. UPON MEETING THE DR. HE WAS VERY KIND AND GENTLE AND HE TOO EXPLAINED IN DETAIL STEP BY STEP THE PROCESS.
I was there today and I loved it. Every single person who assisted me was super friendly and professional. I am so glad I decided to go to this location and not the one I was going to go to in Manhattan. Getting there from where I live in the Bronx was super easy and like I mentioned every single staff at this location was super great and yes I was there to be treated so I am not just writing this review to be nice or anything like that. I wish I had their names but to everyone who assisted me at this location on 03/06/18 THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!! Keep it up!
Kind staff and prompt service, but the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired.
While the clinic provides escorts into the building, if you clap back at the protesters, they will back down. That said the establishment is fairly clean, the nurses gentle, the doctor welcoming, and no one is judgemental. The procedures are pretty seamless, although I'd like to see them not push that abortion pill. Everyone I know had a much less rough time with the surgical over the pill...and those who had to do it 2+ times would choose surgical hands down.
DONT GO HERE! This place is full of idiots that don't give you all the information you need until after they take your money and don't give a refund even if they are 100% wrong!
