Its too small area for the amount kids there
The equipment is not safe or kid friendly for young kids (3 and under), toddlers, and babies. I witnessed many kids fall and hurt themselves trying to climb on these things. The owners need to rethink what they place in the play area.
Typical mall play area. A little dangerous having entrance to play area on same side as train ride. Need to either move entrance or put up barriers so that toddlers don’t attempt to run towards train and slip and fall.
This was a really fun play area. Probably intended for kids about six and under. There is a height limit. Shoes are to be removed. In good condition.
Pros: Good small place to watch your children play and run around and it’s free.

Cons: Not enough space for the amount of kids that come to Tyson’s and carpet looks and smells dirty.

Tysons mall needs a better playground with staff cleaning it regularly.
Pros:
My daughter is pretty excited about this play area as there are lot of animals she can identify, enjoy on the slides as well. The area appears to be pretty clean with a train ride right outside the entrance.

Cons:
lot of older kids run wildly, climb on the structures, always unsupervised. The play area signage mentions height limit of 42" and prohibits kids from climbing and jumping. None of it is followed. My daughter has been hit multiple times and this poses a great risk to other smaller children as well. Not sure where to register a complaint
This is located on the third floor of the mall by the food court. It is clean and relatively well-kept. Nice size for a mall play area. The mall train is right next to it, for $6/ride you can take a 5 minute ride around the mall. Overpriced but kids seem to really like it.
Nice space for kids to run and climb but it always smells terrible and the carpet is always dirty, even first thing in the morning when it really should be it’s cleanest. Head of security & maintenance told me himself that they do not clean midday as indicated by the signage outside of the play area. I have sent messages to the Tyson’s management twice asking that they please address the bad odor and clean it better more regularly. They have never replied. We’ve opted to go to Fair Oaks more frequently since their play space is cleaner and they also have an additional small play space for babies in a separate area.
