I've used this place a couple of time over the past 5 years or so. Excellent in store prices, and very helpful folks for DIYers.
Gentleman working today spent a good bit of time splicing the appropriate wires and connecting a near incompatible mounting system for a generic replacement blower motor for a 40 year old HVAC system.

Glenn and Adam were extremely helpful. As a landlord, I try to do my own repairs when I can. This repair was new to me and they went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot my issue. They both shared their expertise and knowledge of my issue with me as it was quite apparent to them that I was not a professional HVAC guy. I saved several hundred dollars on this repair thanks to them!

Parts at very affordable price and great service by the owner! Came in late Saturday and owner changed blower motor for me, staying past closing hours! Highly recommended! Drove 1 hour to get here and will gladly come back!!!

Had a blower motor fail @ 6pm on a Thursday (105º) Bummer. My neighbor highly recommended Dallas HVAC Parts to me. I got online, found a contact email and sent them pictures and model # of the furnace. I called the next day right after opening, no answer, which I assumed their phone was getting blown up by everyone needing AC parts. Few minutes later I get a call back from Adam asking if I had called and how he could help me. I explained what I was looking for, plus also noted I sent an email last evening, which he said he was already was working on. Adam was very polite, professional and certainly understood what it was that I needed. He gave me options in available part replacement to help save me money and he was certainly familiar with the system I have. He let me know the part would be at their warehouse by noon and he would call once it arrived. At 11:30am Adam called said the part was in. When I got to Dallas HVAC Parts I was happy to meet Adam, again just a great guy and took the time to make sure the part was correct versus running me out the door. With my great experience, I have point dozens of people their direction. Great place for parts and customer service.
Great place... nice people. If they don't have your part, not sure who besides online. Blower broke and they had the motor. Gentleman there had all the tools to help me put the housing, etc. back together quickly. Installed and worked perfect. I will go back here. My first visit was last summer in their old location. New location has plenty of parking and easy to get to. The older gentleman has probably 20-30 years experience in the field so he's probably seen it all. I get nothing for posting this... I'm just appreciative of the help I got.
Adam was awesome. He helped me identify a capacitor that i needed that had no labeling on it so i did not know which one to get. I ended up buying a motor along with the capacitor per his suggestion. I also had to come back and get a contactor which they also had in stock. They even recommended where i could get a breaker switch which i also needed. My A/C is back on and running like a champ! Oh and even the store cat is awesome and very friendly!
This place is a gem!!! They are open on SUNDAYS!!! SUPER friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service deserves more than 5 stars. I was helped by Allen at their counter today. Super nice, experienced, and genuine guy. He was nice enough to help me understand how to safely change parts that would otherwise cost hundreds $$$. I can’t thank this business enough for being open on the weekends. True believer in only posting reviews when it matters. This locally owned business is highly recommended!!!! Again, thank you Allen!
I called Aire Serv of Dallas and spoke with Jennifer, she was very professional and helpful. She was able to get a tech out to our location on the same day. Zach, the technician arrived in a timely manner, he determined what the problem was in a short period of time and had us up and running in 15 mins. I would definitely recommend Aire Service of Dallas, they are professional, friendly and did a great job from start to finish!

Today is my lucky day! The only AC is not working and after checking the blower motor bracket was broken and the wheel is blocked there. Check on maps and found Dallas HVAC parts, they are open and call to confirm everything are in stock. Drive and picked up! Brerin and Glenn do great help! Right parts and even better to change the wheel for me! Today is almost 100 degree, can’t believe how can my families survive for the coming 110 degree week!

The things he pointed out that had been neglected or were in need of repair makes me wonder if anyone has ever done such a thorough job as Romario did. After being referred here by another professional reference, one that I sincerely trust, all I can wonder is why he didn't send me here sooner. VERY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one wants to work at the front counter. Don’t know what everyone is doing cause they never have parts. Really wondering how the doors even stay open here. Hopes and prayers I guess. Y’all have to make some changes.
After trane’s very dis functional warehouse and lousy customer service I went to Ferguson and I don’t go anywhere else now. Top tier customer service, everyone works together, knowledgeable and dependable staff. Very tight ship at this location.
Called ahead before I left the call to make sure they had what I needed. Asked him if he needed PO now or when I arrive. He said when I arrive. I Drive 20 minutes one way at 4:45 for him to tell me the account was on hold. Why couldn’t you have told me this when looking at the account. I’ll gladly be going elsewhere as I have in my 10 year career.
Ferguson always gives me superior service ... they are aces...and have everything .
They are the most frustrating company ever to deal with. There are too many departments to go through to order equipment, i just checked on an order that was to ship in 1-2 business days. This is day 3 I just called and part of the order is somewhere on a truck and the rest is on back order which may be a couple of months.
The wait time is ridiculous. Nobody in the line or in the dock area, the guy told me to go wait by the the dock area and someone should be there with my order. Been waiting 15 minutes so far and nothing so far and I've seen the dude that supposed to be helping me talking with another guy. Just horrible customer service

Dock is in back a little tight to back up to it but it’s possible I drive a sleeper for Royal Freight.
Showed up at 6 am on a Monday to beat traffic 4 wheelers do use the curb so it’s going to be a hit or miss if you find big enough gap to park, you need to go thru the front parking lot and follow around to the docks once you go check in they let you know they ready for you. They do have priority delivery and pickups but they take care of them fast. Took 2 hrs getting unloaded they came to get my bills I caught some attitude while he gave them back I pulled up to close the doors and all the guys where standing at the dock come to find out I wasn’t scheduled until Wednesday and so where the other 2 trucks in line behind me. It was 11am already you think somebody would of said something by then. Bad/ No communication whoever was involved with these loads

Best supply house I have found in the greater Austin area. The guys were as helpful on my first visit as they were on my 100th.
I'll start by saying that I think Trane is the best equipment you can buy. But they have some major organizational issues.
When trying to get a quote on equipment I can NEVER get in touch with someone useful on the the phone. When I do talk to someone it is the wrong person and when they transfer me to the right person it is 100% of the time a number that does not exist and hangs up on me. I've walked in trying to get the Trane360 set up and they direct me to call a guy in their office who never responds to your calls.
Do yourself a favor and buy from ACES Supply. They sell American Standard which is just Trane by another name. They answer the phone immediately and can get you a quote without any hassle.

Hands down the best customer service for an HVAC supply house in Austin. Counter salesman make everything easy with their knowledge of the business and the quality equipment they are selling. Guys in the warehouse always have your ticket pulled on the dock and ready to go in minutes even when busy.
I have 17 Trane units at my facility. I have over 200 employees. Trane last year told me they were not going to warranty my compressors unless I bought new units. At the same time, the quotes have come in at $90,000 and a leadtime that comes in for September. Thanks Trane for screwing my company and it's 200 hard working Americans who now work in 100 degree temperatures.

I have been in the HVAC industry for almost 50 years and have seen parts houses come and go. Johnson Supply owns Houston and I have found their outlier stores to be of the same quality. I bought most of my tools frim Johnson, still have them and they still work. It is attention to details like quality, that I think puts Johnson over the top. If I had a complaint, it is their line of HVAC systems: York. This may just be a preference of mine and it stems back to the 70s with one condensing unit that I found difficult to work on. So it is probably not fair for me to say.

I received great customer service from James McClelland at Johnstone Supply. He helped me find the right parts I needed and helped me save money by replacing only what I needed to. He took the time to make sure I understood the return policy so there would be no surprises if I had issues with the parts. He went through the connections I needed which helped a lot when I got home and took everything apart. All of the replacement parts worked perfectly and we were back up and running within hours instead of waiting on a service appointment and a parts run. This helped me save hundreds of dollars. I definitely recommend Johnstone Supply Company.

Great plumbing warehouse you can find most of the plumbing stuff but for havc you need to go to the havc Ferguson and you need to be ready to wait couple minutes before someone help you with your order
They are friendly but incompetent. I ask them to email me quotes of equipment for my boss to approve before buying. They always take down my information and say they will send it out in a hour or so but never do. Its like do you want my money at all. Am trying to spend thousand of dollars at your place and you cant even email me a Quot. I would not use them other than my employer is a tax free account with them, because we are part of a state agency.

I can't believe in today commerce with anything and everything available on line, this company will only sell to contractors. No wonder AMAZON is putting companies like this out of business. Hint for everyone just buy it online, it's cheaper either way.
They definitely stick it to you if you're the general public. Charged me $85 for a part I could have bought off of amazon and delivered same day for $37. This is the second time this has happened. A couple of years ago they charged me $46 for the same part I could have purchased on amazon for $15 with free shipping. I hate feeling like I've been ripped off. And they have done it to me twice.
I've always had good service from these guys, I go there when they don't have a line of people to attend. I have questions and they have good answers, helpful, courteous. You do have to understand, they do business to the public, but can only sell at retail price. If your a/c needs a part and you can't wait for 3-4 days from amazon, this is your place.

Called this supplier to inquire on the price of a furnace control board, I told the guy up front I am a home owner and needed the price to make sure I was not getting ripped off by the HVAC company working on my furnace. I know they can't sell me the part because I am not a licensed hvac tech, BUT all I wanted was the price. Guess what he would not tell me the price OR give me a reason why he would not. Why have a phone to call them if they don't deal with the general public? Hell why answer the phone at all. This sounds very Good Ol Boy network to me. When you read the review from another person they sold him a contactor , an electrical part as well and he was a home owner. No transparency at all. Now I can order this part on line but I wanted to give the local guy a shot, opportunity to make a buck! This is not rocket science folks, just to ask for a price apparently was to much to ask! I completely understand the wholesale process and why it exists but to just be shady about what your retail price would be and not allowing a consumer the "privilege" to attain knowledge and allow the common person to know if they are being ripped off by a HVAC contractor is as deceitful and despicable as it gets. No wonder the industry is so despised and seen as un-trust worthy!! I wouldn't mind if they have two prices, a contractor price and a retail price, just be fair and honest, or tell a customer that they only sell to hvac contractors upfront and be done with it. Most folks cringe at the thought of having to call an HVAC company in the first place and now to learn the support system and parts suppliers are just as un-trust worthy. These old school folks need to be fully aware that the consumer has intelligence and the world wide web as a info source. No wonder the brick and mortar folks are losing ground! Oh I did find an honest company that would tell me the price and I was being ripped off as the price of the board is $140.00 retail and not $580.00!!!!!! I will rip that HVAC company separately in writing to the Texas attorney general!
Extremely rude parts counter. I called to verify they had my parts in stock and the employee "assisting" me could not have been more condescending and rude. I was going to spend no less than $400.00 at your store this afternoon. You just lost a future customer. Taking my money elswhere.

The quality made-in-usa Amrad capacitor I got from them cost about $55, compared to about $43 direct from Amrad (including 2-day shipping). To me, that's reasonable, considering I was able to get it right now and on a Saturday.

This is a very clean store that always seems to have your supplies. Jack is a very sharp guy and really knows his Rheem product. Gavin is one of the best HVAC sales reps in this area. Just a great bunch of guys down here.
These guys were great! I am not an HVAC contractor but a home owner who knows enough to be dangerous. I had to buy a new contactor and did not know exactly what I needed at first but these guys were extremely helpful in helping me identify the problem and selling me the right part to fix the AC unit. I can not say much of anything about the other supply house that starts with G and rhymes with anger. Thanks Coastal for helping me out! It makes a huge difference when you can talk to people who know what they are talking about.
