Reviews

In 2017, we purchased a one-of-a-kind, stunning craftsman-style home with a contemporary flair. It has four bathrooms. We run a family-owned business as manufacturer representatives for plumbing and heating companies. When we bought the home, we knew we wanted to bring in many of our manufacturers' products to redo the bathrooms. We easily completed three of the bathrooms on our own, but the primary bedroom suite presented some interesting challenges.
The existing closet was not big enough for two people. Both the primary bedroom and the bathroom featured beautiful wood ceilings. There were two entrances to the suite—one for the main bedroom and another for a very small room that could have been an office, exercise room, or sitting area, but we never knew what to do with it!
We were lucky enough to hire Schroeder Design Build to help us create a special and relaxing part of our home.
Tyler, our project manager, couldn’t have done a better job. As expected, there were some challenges with our custom home—like a leaky bathroom skylight, doors in the wrong places, structural support issues, two separate bathroom vanities, and incorporating our manufacturers’ products into the design. Tyler navigated these obstacles and many more with humor, kindness, consideration, and professionalism. I was impressed with everyone who entered our home during the four-month renovation. They treated our home as if it were their own. Plastic was carefully laid down on every walkway, including the stairs. Any dings or scratches to the walls that occurred when moving large, heavy objects were noted and repaired. Picking out lighting and fixtures with Jessica at the Ferguson showroom was a hoot. We made decisions quickly. I have a fond memory of Jessica and me clapping enthusiastically when we saw the light fixture that ended up in my closet.
We now have a beautiful, earthy, sunny modern bathroom with rich green tile that we picked out from Mosaic Home. There’s an amazing Toto egg-shaped toilet with a heated seat that opens when you walk up to it and closes on its own. Schroeder Design Build replaced the carpet in the bedroom with hardwood flooring, making the wood ceilings look even more dramatic. The small, weird extra room that once had zero purpose is now my closet. I live there! Seriously, I do. Anytime the opportunity arises, I’ll happily share pictures of my closet, which are often met with a ‘Please don’t show that to my wife.’ The funky John Fluevog shoes I’ve been collecting for over 25 years are gloriously on display. My clothes are hanging and visible, making it easy to put together cool outfits. It’s like having my own little boutique. I’ve even managed to put in a small desk and chair in front of a window where I’m writing this review now. I love it!

A Basement Renovation Journey
Where do I even begin? Embarking on a basement renovation in these old homes is like deciding to adopt a dragon. You're excited, terrified, and have no idea how big it's going to get, or what the inspectors might kick back. But, folks, let me tell you about the team who tamed our dragon and turned what could have been a fiery mess into a fairytale basement...
From the outset we knew this wasn't your run-of-the-mill spruce-up job. We were swinging for the fences - a complete gutting, reimagining, and remastering of our dingy brick dungeon with cold floors, small showers, pointless doors, and no wall insulation - into what has now become the crown jewel of our home. During this adventure, we encountered more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. From unexpected structural serenades, and additional electrical panels to support the additional electrical draw for heated floors to the delightful dance of scope creep - it had it all!
Now, it's important to note that every fairytale construction build has its moments of peril. With each surprise, our budget would rear it's ugly head and keep Mark and I in a furious challenge to maintain it. Yet, every single time we hit a snag, there was our contractor, Steve, wand at the ready. Available, resolute, and unfailingly kind and professional. Even when I turned as hard as our new wooden bar top upon hearing about any cost adjustments, Steve and Mark were there, navigating us through with grace and expertise.
Their design team deserves a standing ovation. As a designer myself I know I'm a challenge. Jessica and Claudio are true artists who transformed our vague "wouldn't it be cool if we added a Harry Potter room under the stairs..." musings into concrete reality, creating a space of form, function, and elegance that we absolutely adore and couldn't have done without their inspiration. It's as if they waltzed into our dreams and made themselves at home.
To anyone standing on the precipice of their own renovation journey, fret not. Yes, there will be adjustments, evolutions and changes. Yes, your budget might give you the side-eye. But with a team like Schroeder, you’re in the hands of professionals who can pivot like ballet dancers, no matter the challenge.
In the end, we didn't just renovate a basement; we embarked on an epic tale of transformation, with every twist and turn navigated with expert care. Our basement is a testament to the magic that happens when you mix creativity, professionalism, and manage true expectations.
So here's to the team - thank you for not only giving us a basement beyond our wildest dreams but for making the journey there an adventure in itself. Five stars!

We recently completed a two story addition and had a 5 star experience with Schroeder. From the initial consultation, to design, in construction, and finishing work, we had a fantastic experience. The design team listened to our vision for the project and guided us through the engineering, design, and selection process. Our Project Manager, Paul, and his construction team were amazing to work with. The timeline was right on and he worked with us immediately throughout on any minor issues that came up. The finished space has absolutely enhanced our home and every detail was covered. We will continue to highly recommend them!

We recently had Schroeder replace our old sun porch with a 4-season room, and overall we are very pleased with both the process and the end result.
During the design phase, the architect, Jessica, was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. We also threw in a curveball only a couple of weeks before the planned start date when we asked them if they could add a basement room underneath the new room; the original plan had been to have just a crawl space. They rolled with it and amended the plans and permits in record time.
When we had trouble coming up with how we wanted to use the new room, we met with Jessica again and she had a great suggestion that we ended up going with: make it our living room rather than a home office as we’d planned, and turn our existing living room into an office, with a wall and door added to create an entryway separating it from the front door.
Despite all the last-minute changes, they started on schedule and completed the bulk of the work in about 3 months, including several unrelated add-ons we requested. There were some challenges along the way; for example, when they removed a set of sliding glass doors, the wall above them dropped a half-inch because the doors turned out to be load-bearing. But the end result is everything we hoped for and more.
During the actual building process, the project manager came to our house often to check on progress, answer questions, etc. Towards the end, the company promptly addressed any issues we had. We are very happy with the work overall. The new living room and home office look amazing, and we now have an extra basement room.
No company is perfect, however, so there were a few negatives. For instance, we had a minor flooding issue in the basement due to a hole made during the digging, and there was a painter who seemed to show up only when they felt like it. And we had some confusion over the financial side when we couldn’t make a draw on our HELOC immediately due to the invoice being issued during the holidays when it was impossible to schedule the required inspection, and the Schroeder folks kept on calling us about it despite our telling them there wasn’t much we could do to force the bank to release the funds given the timing.
However, all of these issues were resolved, nothing was damaged by the water that got into the basement, and the project was completed on schedule. We tend to judge a company not on whether there are problems (because that’s almost inevitable, especially with a large renovation project), but on how they handle such issues when they arise. Schroeder was responsive to our questions and concerns, and we would absolutely work with them again; in fact, we plan to hire them when we get to the next update we want to do in our home, probably in another couple of years.

Do not use this company. Their level of dishonesty and lack of integrity is absolutely shocking. We were quoted specific quotes from their project manager and then once we went through the planning phase (and measurements and drawings were made -- and paid for) they adjusted their quote, reflecting a materially higher price, explaining that 'material prices, such as lumber' had gone up (even though the market didn't reflect such price increases). Even though we ended up losing our initial payment, we knew we had to walk away. Would never start a major home build out with a company that demonstrates such dishonesty from the get-go. Think twice before signing a contract with this company. There are much better options out there.

Our project with Schroeder, estimated at 12-15 weeks, wound up taking more than a full year. It was an unnecessarily stressful, frustrating year, that their own employees referred to as “embarrassing” and “incompetent” at various points. The project was mainly focused on our kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a staircase, and a fireplace facade. After 15 weeks, all that had been completed was demolition and some rough-ins - for months, we lived in a demolished home with no kitchen, just waiting for updates (pic 1 below - our living room and “kitchen”). The big problem was that Schroeder failed to identify one of the only walls we were removing as load bearing. It took months for them to just come up with a plan to address it (we were told their engineer was on leave). When the plan was finally drawn up, their engineer failed to account for an exterior door, so it took another week to run the calculations to determine that the load would hold over the door frame, and another 2 weeks for the county to review that letter. Eventually, the beam was installed someplace different than we had discussed, which caused downstream problems.
We then failed inspections 5 times over several weeks - the first time, the wiring was just hanging from the ceiling (picture 2), no fireproofing had been done, and the inspector was baffled that he was even being scheduled. The second time, the right permit hadn’t been requested, approved and issued. The third time, Schroeder didn’t have the approved plans in the house for the inspector to review… and on and on. We didn’t have even a barely-functioning kitchen (e.g. floor, sink) for over 6 months after demolition. To make matters worse, they did not do much cleaning until a new project manager came on several months into the project, so we were left trying to clean drywall dust and various demolition debris after the good days when any work happened.
It was a comedy of errors that could have been avoided through better planning and more consistent management. From demolition to completion over a year later, we went through 5 different project managers, at least one of whom was fired mid-job. Several subcontractors, including tile, drywall, and paint were either fired during the job or (we were told) shortly after because the work they did was so poor. The people Schroeder hired to do some of the most detailed work had little-to-no experience in what they were asked to do, including tile and paint (it was the same guy for both), and the concrete pour for the fireplace (it was cracking after days so we wound up having to just tile over it - again with the unqualified tile guy, even though we were told they brought on someone with more experience). When plans changed after the walls were opened up, the drawings were never updated, so subsequent sub-contractors were left having to figure out solutions on the fly. Change orders were implemented before we approved them on multiple occasions, which led to more problems.
This was written based on detailed notes, messages to and from Schroeder, and timestamped photos and videos.

Ken and team did amazing work from start to finish and they listen to customer feedback and addressed all concerns and issues with us on a timely manner. The quality of the work was really great. We will use this company again and we strongly recommend other to consider to use them for any home addition or remodeling work.

Ken and the team at Elite Contractors recently completed a main bedroom/bathroom addition at our home and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Not only were Ken and the team highly professional, dependable and flexible, but they were meticulous with details and very attentive to ensure we had everything we asked for. I will highly recommend Elite Contractors to anyone. Thank you to the team for everything!

They did a partial remodel of our basement, built a wet bar, gym, guest rooms and we are extremely satisfied. Ken, the owner/general manager was extremely responsive and always answered our questions. His crew was very professional and always on time every morning. They stuck to the timeline we agreed upon. The crew was very clean with tidying up the debris before the weekend started and after construction was completed. They did an amazing job! I highly recommend to anyone looking for major home projects and would definitely use them again for our own future projects!

Sean and his team were fast and professional. They did an amazing job on our deck refurbishment. He and his team came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. Communication was superb and the timeline from quote to finish was quick! They left everything in better shape than they found it. We love our "new" deck!!

Ken and his team were great. I didn't worry about much. Everyday the team showed up on time like clockwork. Progress went as expected and communication was generally clear and concise. When issues arose it was easy to get hold of Ken or Ana. The project was big but it was completed in the time frame given. The workers cleaned up after everyday and our yard was kept as neat as possible during construction. I never felt like I was being taken for a ride especially given the trust one puts in a builder. Renovations are stressful but I think that this was as smooth and easy as it can be. The quality of the work was also really high and we feel confident that if there are any problems that it will be resolved quickly. Overall it was a great experience with an extremely professional company. They live up to their name.

Title: Stellar Bathroom Remodel Experience with Elite Contractors
Review:
When the unignorable issue of a major leak forced the renovation of my master bathroom, my anxiety levels reached new heights. The potential invasion of my personal space during a pandemic, coupled with the envisioned daily disruptions from dust and zipper walls was an unnerving prospect that I put off for 2 years.
Finally deciding to bite the bullet, I set out to interview seven different contractors, but my decision to go with Elite Contractors stands today as the best choice I could have made. Their professionalism and skill outshone the competition, assuring me that my project was in safe hands.
Ken and Ana, the owners of Elite Contractors, are an exceptional pair. The personal attention they devoted to my project and their unwavering commitment to quality work were apparent throughout. Rather than getting into the minutiae, I'll simply state: this company is nothing short of impressive.
In retrospect, there’s no need to ever interview multiple contractors again for future home projects. The trust and confidence I have in Elite Contractors will have me going straight to them.
The end result of this project is nothing less than love at first sight. The newly remodeled bathroom, once a source of anxiety and inconvenience, is now my favorite part of the house. My heartfelt thanks go to Elite Contractors for transforming my vision into reality with such skill and professionalism.
Thank you, Elite Contractors, for turning an anticipated ordeal into a journey worth embarking on. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of home renovation work. They truly are the 'Elite' in this industry.

I had a very good experience with All Renovations. My first interaction with the company was with Mir the Estimator on the phone. He was friendly, professional and answered all questions. On the day of my appointment to discuss the project in person. He was on time and explained the process for the project. My next interaction was with Jim the Project Manager, he too was professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. Their communication was excellent. Each step of the permitting process was explained to me. When the project started, I met Tony, the on-site Project Manager. He and the construction crew were professional, courteous, and reported to the work site on time. The project was done timely. Any issues that I had were addressed immediately. My family and I are very please with the project completion. I would use this company again for a future project.

We used Schroeder Design/Build for a whole home renovation and addition to our 60-year-old home. From our initial inquiry to a couple of follow-up items years after the project was complete, Schroeder’s responsiveness and attention to detail has continued to impress us. Their team was communicative throughout the entire process; our project was completed on time and within budget. They truly listened to our family’s needs and wants, resulting in a home we now love to live in.

We had a great experience working with Sean and his team. They rescued our aging brick patio from sinking into the ground. Now it looks like new and will be an excellent family space for years to come. Everyone on the team was very professional, highly skilled and efficient. And best of all, no surprises. They did what they promised and in fact over delivered.

We used Elite Contractors Services for a $150,000 renovation in Falls Church. From Day 1 they were extremely professional and responsive. Ken and Ana made the entire process extremely easy for us! From submitting all permit applications promptly, to sending a detailed list of finished materials I needed to order for them, the process was very smooth! They took on several change orders that weren't part of the original scope of work. I was very impressed that every day when I came by the property they had at least 5 people there working tirelessly. As someone who works in house flipping, I know how hard it can be to find reliable contractors who show up on time and complete a job without endless delays. Elite Contractors is a gem! Will gladly work with them again for future projects!

All Renovations recently completed a project finishing our basement. We could not be happier with the outcome and working relationship across every individual we encountered in this company. If you're looking for contractors in the DMV, We'd highly recommend Tony and his team. They were timely, hard-working, skilled craft persons, and kept us constantly informed on our project. They stayed within our agreed budget with no surprise charges. Mir was very patient with us during the quote process. We can't speak highly enough regarding their professionalism and knowledge. We will definitely use them again on future home projects.

Ken and his team were great! Responsive, clean, efficient and the quality of workmanship was flawless. Our project involved a 1000 sf addition to include kitchen, bathrooms and primary bedroom all on a 100+ year old home and required expert carpentry, management of aged plumbing and antiquated wiring. Unlike so many in the construction industry, Elite Contracting is truly a professional organization. I will absolutely use them for our future remodeling needs.

During the summer of 2022 we reconstructed our wood deck to composite and expanded it. While we loved the additional space it quickly became clear that those who build the deck did a very poor job. Enter American Deck!
I reached out to American Deck because they were listed as a Platinum installer of Timbertech composite decking. The Conway's were super responsive to my needs and made two separate site visits to make sure that we were clear on the scope of the repairs. Unfortunately, the deck was built so poorly that we were limited in what could be done without totally starting from scratch.
But Sean and Chase Conway worked with me to find a path forward. Rene, the foreman, did an amazing job on site and within two weeks, our deck is looking and functioning as we had originally wished.
I can't say enough about Sean, Chase and Rene. They were truly professional and we love the work they did. We wish we used them from the get go and we'd have an even nicer outdoor space!

Project: Detached pool house (with central air and electricity).
County: Fairfax, VA
Estimated Dates of Completion: 6-8 weeks
Actual Dates of Completion: November 2, 2022 - December 9, 2022
All Renovations came highly recommended from our residential community Facebook page. The contract review was pretty straightforward and the progress payments were timely throughout the entire process. The contract references construction grade materials, so just work with Omar on any upgrades. For example, we upgraded from standard siding to Hardie siding, and preferred the wide baseboards, molding and trim. Jim (project manager) and Tony (foreman) did a great job keeping us apprised of next steps and inspection statuses given the number of other projects he and the team had going on at the same time. The crew was punctual working extremely hard Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The crew did a good job keeping our property clean and safe from debris and equipment. At one point during the process, the crew experienced rain during the concrete phase and to our surprise they built a temporary roof and one person worked well into the night to finish off the smoothing and drying. We really appreciated that dedication and attention to detail. When the electricity and lighting were being installed, I was asked where Id like the light switches so I directed one switch be installed on one of the entrance. Tony and the crew went above and beyond and installed two sets of light switches on both sides of the pool house french door entrances for convenience. I liked how they were extremely thoughtful and paid attention to details as if they were building their own project. Electricity and exterior components were all up to code.

Choosing a contractor was as difficult as it was frustrating in the beginning. Many places were unresponsive, too “busy” or would only take your project if you’d spend “X” dollars. I hated this process and thought it would never end, but that was until I came across Elite Contractors Services on Angies. Their gallery on Angies doesn’t speak to the true breadth and diversity of work he has done (I’ve told him, he needs to put more photos up, LOL - a little joke between him and I) but after working with him I understand why he hasn’t; he and his wife are busy responding to and making sure his customers are happy. We met Ken soon after engaging him. He is a very pleasant man with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction industry, and although he loves to have a good laugh he’s also a straight shooter, which I greatly appreciate. To have a General Contractor be as responsive and interested in your project was a breath of fresh air; even better was that he continued this responsiveness throughout the entire project!
Once we had a contract established Ken put us in touch with his excellent Architect Ned. With his excellent eye for design and helpful suggestions, we were very pleased with our final design and couldn't be happier. We were ready and so was Ken. Some preliminary engineering checks were performed on our foundation and it was discovered that we didn’t have sufficient footers to support a second-story. Ken gave us the options we had and so we moved ahead with the additional scope of underpinning our foundation and lowering our basement by two feet since the slab would be destroyed.
It was January 2022 at this point and even with supply chain constraints (especially with wood), COVID and inflation craziness Ken as he was somehow ahead of the curve and prepared enough with our project to be able to provide us with a 6 month estimate for everything to complete (July timeframe). I was skeptical to say the least and especially anxious because I had a construction loan with an interest rate lock banking on this man’s estimate.
The underpinning was completed in two months as promised, all done by hand, insane!! The second story began and we were able to meet the entire Elite Contractors Service’s family! The workers Ken employs are all amazing people and excellent professionals who work exceedingly hard and put their heart and souls into their craft. They were also so efficient, they ripped off our old roof, and put up the new roof within a week. and even though they didn’t have to during those few days in between, they placed a huge tarp over our place to protect our home. I felt they treated our home as if it was their own home. In comparison, a house down the street from us was roof-less for a month before they got their materials in to build; meaning it was exposed to the weather and elements. During the project I was introduced to Ana Blanco, Ken’s better half who helped us with expenses, material purchasing such as tile, vanities, fixtures, lighting etc. She was super sweet, helpful and made that process straightforward and worry-free. When the finishing touches were ready to be made, Ken’s team were once again so helpful. They would ensure every detail was accounted for, especially specifics, such as mirror, light heights, or the placement of vanities for example. They painted and touched up spaces part of renovation, but also spaces that were affected indirectly by construction, and of course corrected any issues you had immediately. Ken called this his “Elite Treatment”, and Elite it was!
My wife and I put our faith in Ken wholeheartedly, and we are glad we did, even with a few ordering issues and special orders he and his team were still able to hit the promised 6 month mark almost perfectly! I think Ken’s new nickname ought to be the “Magic Man.” We feel blessed to have Ken and his team on the job for home renovation, because not only did we make our home beautiful we were able to make a few friends along the way.

We are thrilled with the home office/guest room that All Renovations just completed for us. They were the lowest of 3 quotes that we got and I know cheapest isn't always best, but they had just done the same project elsewhere in our neighborhood and were recommended. Once the permit was finally done they got started within the week and we're amazed at how quick it came together. The crew showed up when we were expecting them, were really pleasant, and always put in full days. The existing garage roof demo and plywood frame/new roof were done in 4 days! Estimator Omar, project manager Jim, and crew chief Tony were all great to work with, very responsive, and were able to address all of our questions and any minor issues that needed to be addressed. Start-to-finish it took 4 weeks and we can't wait to get furniture in and start using our new space!

Four years ago, we used Schroeder Design & Build to replace our front patio and add an oversized 3rd car garage underneath it. The added space is phenomenal, we can park a car and still have rows of storage shelves, 3’ deep and 10’ feet high. We also love hearing how the addition looks like it was always part of original home. They designed and executed it with that goal. That added significant value to our home, well done!
Once you work with them you are part of their family. Four years later and they still check in with us to ensure complete satisfaction. Thank you, Mark!

I recently hired All Renovations to complete a whole basement renovation (demolition, all new electrical and framing; adding a wet bar, laundry space, and full bathroom). Omar, Jim, Tony, and the rest of the team were professional and responsive at every stage of the process. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner and addressed any concerns that came up throughout the project with flexibility and a commitment to high quality work. Having received multiple project quotes from different companies, All Renovations provided a competitive price point and stayed within my budget. I am very happy with their work and highly recommend them for your large-scale project.

They were highly recommended by my in-laws whose deck was built by them. I could see what they reported: very high quality work, good communication, and fair cost. They also were very good with keeping me informed of any delays, anything which needed my attention. Tey kept the work area very clean, and their final clean up was perfect. They also worked around my garden and disturbed nothing. Hire this company!!!!

They built a large and beautiful porch, I recommend them for sure. They were very courteous and helpful during the design process, gave some valuable advice to our arquitects. The project turned out really good!

We had a really good experience with Deck Solid. They went above and beyond on replacing our wood deck with a Timbertech decking and railings. Outstanding work!!!

Deck Solid has a great team. They designed and built an awesome Deck, my family is very happy with their job. They took about 2 weeks to complete the job, but the quality and attention to detail was perfect.

They respond quickly and have good customer service. They worked hard and did a top notch job!! I will use them again in my next project.

Great company to work with. We hired them to build a deck in our backyard and they did a nice project with high quality materials, it looks wonderful.

"I would give All Renovations six stars if I could. They were fantastic at building my four season sunroom over a screened in patio. My plan was to interview and get estimates from three contractors. All Renovations was one of those three after I read about them in the "Best Picks Report for Loudoun County". All Renovations had the most experience and I felt more comfortable with Mir (the estimator) than the others. I was also happily surprised to have All Renovations come in with the lowest estimate. I could not be happier with the outcome of this difficult project. I have to admit that I did not think it was possible to tie this addition into my existing house without it looking like an addition but they did it! And a shout out to Jim and Tony... you two are superstars!"

We have been thrilled all summer with our new low-maintenance deck railing with "drink rail." In March, American Deck replaced our 30-year-old rotting white-painted railing. (Our 30-year old redwood deck was still sound.) The price was competitive. Sean Conway's knowledge of the products available contributed suggestions that made the end result better than we had hoped. The work was done by highly skilled men, timely, neatly, efficiently. There are many odd-angle miter cuts in our railing and all were made perfectly. After the work was done, we had one issue at the steps. Sean was out the next day to resolve our concern completely. We give him the highest praise for communications and customer service. Working with American Deck was a terrific experience!

Having any work done during a pandemic can be a challenge, but working with Sean and his team was great. We had 4 estimates to replace a 36 year old deck with a composite deck. American Deck and Patio gave us a very detailed proposal with many options which helped us get to the amount we budgeted for the project. A couple of little hiccups were solved quickly and Sean answered any questions promptly. We love our new deck and look forward to enjoying it this summer.

Excellent! We could not be happier with the work that Sean and his team did for us. They built us a beautiful screened-in porch (on a new deck), from soup to nuts, with everything we needed. The work product and attention to detail could not be beat. I can't say enough about how positive the experience was, from beginning to end. Sean was able to work with us in our budget, and find innovative and cost-effective solutions along the way when we had to make some adjustments to the project. He made solid recommendations for where our money was best spent and where we could find some savings, which we really appreciated - and his judgment was spot-on. His team (project manager Jaime) were professional, courteous, respectful of our neighbors, and careful to clean up and leave the site in good shape. They started the project even before anticipated and the actual construction time on site was very fast and ahead of schedule. This past year in particular, I know they've been in great demand -particularly with word of mouth and when neighbors see the work they do - and we're so glad we persisted, absolutely worth a short wait to get the best. Sean told us exactly where we were in the queue and they found a way to get started early - and as busy as they are, he always answered our calls and/or returned our calls immediately. We also particularly appreciated the benefit of his experience - he's extremely knowledgeable about options for different materials and manufacturers, and has great relationships with suppliers that he's able to draw upon, even while other contractors have to wait on materials during the pandemic construction boom. This made the project move very fast. We also appreciated the attention to small details that made the end product even better - things other contractors we spoke with hadn't thought of (e.g., a "beverage railing cap" to put your drink on; adding a mechanism to the door to our under-decking storage so no on accidentally locks themselves in; etc.). The whole experience was very positive, and we LOVE our new porch. Everyone who's seen it has been so impressed - including friends with construction knowledge - telling us what a quality job they did. Can't recommend them enough!

All Renovations finished our 1800 sq ft basement. Mir was really great to work with. The Forman, Ainea did a really nice job. Very hard working, showed up every day. Good quality of work. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Sean about my front-walkway following a recommendation by a friend. Boy am I glad I did!
I found Sean to be responsive, helpful, and honest. Sean worked with me to find the right approach and kept in touch with me about what was going on. His estimate was consistent with other's I'd received but his companies' service went above.
Sean's team fit my work in between larger jobs and were very responsive when I had questions or concerns. My new walkway looks great. I found I had to do a lot less chasing than I am used to with contractors too. I greatly recommend American Deck and Patio!

I got estimates to replace the decking on our existing wood deck from three deck companies with great reputations. Frankly, I was impressed by all of them but Sean from American Deck & Patio really stood out. When he inspected my deck, he talked me through all the things he looks for when considering work on an older deck. He listened to what I wanted and discussed my options in a very straightforward and down-to-earth way. While I was interested in composite decking, there was no pressure to choose one material or option over another, just the pros and cons of each one. I left that meeting with complete confidence that if I selected Sean and his team, they would do a great job.
I accepted Sean's very competitive price and he and Mia kept me completely informed about every step as the job was scheduled and completed. His team was great, too. They got the job done a day early and his foreman even waited for me to get home one day to make sure my hot tub was positioned exactly right—he even helped me reconnect the wiring—something I had not asked for or expected him to do.
As expected, the work was excellent. My new Trex decking looks fantastic. I could not be happier with both the end result and the way the entire project was carried out. I highly recommend American Deck & Patio—they completely exceeded my expectations and I'd use them again with complete confidence.

EDITED: While the renovation looked great and the bathroom appeared wonderful on the outside, there were problems with the plumbing. In less than six months (well within the year window of reporting issues) there was a major clog and a plumber had to come out to unclog and fix plumbing that was installed incorrectly. I reached out to Omar and he said everything was installed correctly, my plumber disagreed. $2,500 later (which is more than 10% of the project cost) I have to downgrade the previous review I gave.
All Renovations installed a new bathroom for me and added a closet to create a bedroom. I am pleased with the work and they were easy to communicate with. I would recommend them.
