If you’re looking for a place that will teach you how to swim or refine your form for maximum efficiency in competitions, SwimBox is your go-to place. The staff is approachable, professional, and thorough with their instructions regarding how to swim your best. They record your sessions, showing you the areas where you’re dominating and the little things that need improvement.
From perfecting your catch to improving your kicks and breath control, the SwimBox team will go through all the motions to turn you into a trireme on the water.
The environment isn’t intimidating, and everyone is welcome. If you’re looking to get into the water for a new challenge/workout and need instructors who will be with you for every step, this is the place for you.
As someone who runs extensively, I wanted a new activity that had less impact on the joints. It took me less than five sessions to catch the swimming bug.

We love Penguin City swim!!! The pool is nice and warm. The instructors are all amazing ! My children started last year and did the winter, summer and fall sessions. They have had 3 different instructors and each one has been wonderful. They are patient, knowledgeable and great with kids. The progress that we have seen once my kids started here has been amazing. The classes are small which allows for lots of one on one time. The classes are 45 minutes. We used to go to the YMCA but the classes are shorter and with more children so we didn’t see as much progress. I am so glad we found Penguin City Swim!

Penguin City Swim is a wonderful place for kids to learn how to swim. The pool is warm. The team very professional, productive and fun. After going to many places for my son, I finally find a good fit for him and I am so impressed how he makes progress. Thank you Penguin City Swim

I am very happy at Swim Easy. They have great locations. The pool is incredible and the atmosphere at the school is very nice. I have an instructor who is great. His name is Joel. He is very patient and fun. He will make you have confidence in yourself little by little. If you have the opportunity to take classes at Swim Easy, look for instructor Joel. You will learn and enjoy!!!

Iona has been my son’s swim teacher for the past several semesters. She has been great with him. We love Emler’s for swim lessons. We are very happy with how our son’s are swimming. I have already recommended Emler’s to several of our friends.

We love Elmer’s and we have been coming here since our oldest was 6 months and he’s Almost 5! The staff is great and we have love all of our teachers! We have miss Ashton right now on Thursday’s and she is the best! She’s super patient and kind to the kids. You can tell she enjoys it!

My oldest loves the big slide (not every location has one) and the instructors are all awesome and very friendly! Ms Jen is the very best but there’s no bad instructor there. Both my kids love the water, have been in classes since 6 months old. I give credit to their extremely positive experiences at Emler Swim School! Can’t say enough good things about it!

Our first has been at Emler since 6 months old and loves it! The instructors are amazing: they connect with your LO, explain what the purpose of class components, and give great feedback. The front desk staff is always helpful in answering questions in person, on the phone or email. The only issue we have had is with the app and its bugs.
We highly recommend Zoey as an instructor! She is patient, engages with her class and communicates well on our LO’s progress. We love her!

I would advise anyone to stay away from this establishment. This review is to show Calphin’s gaps in coaching, evaluation, and operations tactics and the impact it can have on a child’s morale.
1. Coaches lacking motivation + Gaps in evaluation.
The grief started when my son enrolled in the intermediate Crawler 1 level in Spring 2023. Since then, he has failed in their evaluations with notes of needing improvements with kicking faster and improving on his backstroke.
We kept re-enrolling him in this level and went through discussions with the Director on Deck and the coaches on what is needed for him to progress to the next level.
My son kept on insisting that he had been following the coach's instructions and was confused as to why he was being held back. We started seeing a real morale impact on him in the Fall of 2023.
The coaches change every season and there was no internal communication to address the gaps for my son. We had to start from scratch with a new coach every season.
2. Lack of transparency with parents
In the Oct 2023 evaluation, again my son failed for not reaching the 3-yard line in backstroke. There was a new comment that he struggled with listening to the coach and paying attention. Considering he has been at this level for almost 8 months, this new feedback surprised us.
The week after that he was given a re-test but no communication came on the retest result.
The day before the Fall 2 season was to start, I checked with the reception on the retest result. They told us that he had PASSED.
On the day of the new season start, we got a call from Calphin saying that my son had FAILED the evaluation and he would need re-enrollment in Crawler 1 again.
My husband realized that our suspicion was true and that we were being played. Upon more questioning and asking for a refund and unenrollment, he was connected to the operations manager Jennifer. Jennifer checked with the swim staff and confirmed that my son had PASSED. Frustrated by this flip-flop, we still stood firm on our refund and our conversation with Jennifer brought to light some serious gaps within Calphin management and leadership.
3. Blame game within staff and management
Jennifer blamed one of the new staff members on the miscommunication and hoped we would let go, considering they had actually PASSED my son. Any manager worth her salt, would not throw a new employee under the bus for their mistake.
We questioned how the new staffer could make such a basic mistake if the coaches signed off on my son's success a week ago. Jennifer said that there was a miscommunication between the evaluation coach and the head coach and they had missed updating the results of the retest. (again the coaches are being blamed than the manager taking responsibility)
When we didn’t budge from the refund, Jennifer said she was trying her best to change the evaluation criteria and internal software system and she needed time to implement these changes. She insisted that we as parents should keep faith in her and keep the enrollment. This is coming from a staff member who failed a 6-year-old child for 1 yard and did not keep faith that he would cover this gap in the next level eventually with more practice.
4. Stand By Your Child: My son kept on insisting that he had been doing all of the things that the coaches asked him to do and yet we took the academy’s evaluation feedback and kept re-enrolling him in the same level. The Calphin Academy said they would re-evaluate his progress during each session (irrespective of the tests) and transition him to the next level when he is ready. There was no effort on their part to work in favor of our child. The Oct 2023 FAIL and then their flip flop on the actual test result convinced us that they were not on the child’s side but actually in the business of making as much money as possible via re-enrollments. In hindsight, we should have listened to our child and unenrolled him sooner.

The staffs were very friendly and my kids loved it. Her instructor Ashton was really good and they made a great progress. She makes sure the kids have fun just by doing a simple round up after each round during the lessons which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. She never hesitated to do the round up even if my daughter asks for it after multiple times after each round. It was a fun experience for my kids. Thank you Ms. Ashton!

We really like Emler, Ms. Iona and the management team have been very accommodating to our needs. Ms. Iona really cares and makes effort to make the learning experience enjoyable for my kid. The facility is great as well.

On the day of Calphin Swimming's 20th year anniversary one must praise the professionalism of Calphin Swimming's teaching team and the systematic game-learning program that Calphin Swimming has planned for the children! Whether you just want to learn to swim to gain survival skills, or you want to learn to swim to develop your child's resilience, self-management and physical strength, Calphin Swimming is the best choice. Luckily my 7 year old became a Calphin Swimming student in the fall of 2022 and went through a structured program to learn 4 strokes in 10 months of team lessons. This fall, passed the test to make the CDST swim team. The original intention of just learning to swim and learn to protect themselves has been sublimated by the quality teaching of Calphin Swimming. The professional teaching of the coaches has allowed the children to discover their own interests, which is more meaningful than learning 4 strokes. We hope that Calphin Swimming will be more and more successful and will always accompany the children's growth!

All the instructors are wonderful!! My daughter went from not being able to put her face in the water to being swim team ready. We've been here a few years and will stay. We have Kelly this semester and she's really inspiring my daughter to excel!

Our little one loves water babies! Lots of different activities are done during class and she enjoys them all. Our teacher Iona is very nice and explains everything as we do it!

So had my first lesson today, I am really happy with my instructor, Kidus he is very patient and explains everything. I am looking forward to my future classes.
I would have given them 5 stars but there was a change in location for my class and I wasn't informed until I reached the original site for my class and had to call WeAquatics to find out about the change in location.
Otherwise, I was satisfied with my class and instructor.

My experience at Swim Box with Jordan has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve always had a fear of swimming but Jordan helped me overcome. By the end of the first class I had already gotten comfortable with going under water. Taking this individual class eliminated the need to compare myself to others, and gave me the necessary one on one attention to focus on how to improve my technique. I would highly recommend anyone looking to learn sign up for these sessions.

Having been using them since our child was 6 months. Super easy to get to. The instructors are fabulous and the pool is always warm. Highly recommend if you are looking to get your child swim lessons or just comfortable in the water.

My son has absolutely loved working with Ben for the past few months. We were extremely puddlejumper dependent and in just 4 sessions he felt confident to jump right into the pool without it. He asks to go to swim weekly and looks forward to it!

If you are an adult who wants to learn how to swim, I highly recommend Swim Easy. The instructors are encouraging and the scheduling online is very convenient. After taking just a few classes, I've gone from being uncomfortable in water to swimming to the deep end. Definitely planning on continuing my lessons after my first 8 class package is done.

My 7 year old has been taking one-on-one Learn to Swim (LTS) lessons with WeAquatics once a week for about six months. Our experience has been great and the program's effectiveness is evidenced by my son's notably increased confidence and ability in the water. When we started, he was timid at best, reluctant to go under water at all, and did not have a strong awareness of proper form. Six months later, he is a different person in the water -- he goes underwater without a problem and swims with confidence. Some of that may have come with age, but I have no doubt that the patient teaching, thoughtful attention, and skilled coaching from the WeAquatics instructors (specifically Marcello) deserve much of the credit. As parents, we are now confident in our son's safety in the water and have taken great joy in watching him start to have fun in the water (jumping in, going underwater, being brave). Separate from the lessons, the support staff are efficient and communicative -- scheduling/rescheduling is easy and the app/portal system is convenient and easy to use.

The instructors here are nothing short of amazing! All of them are experienced swimmers that really know the mechanics of individual movements in the water. They do a great job paying attention to everyone in the group class and making sure everyone improves with every session at their own pace. They don't shy away from answering questions and do their best to have you feel confident in the water, which is what it's all about at the end of the day. Theres a lot of flexibility in the time slots and you might end up learning more about swimming and yourself than expected.

My kid started swimming at 5-yr old at Calphin. The facilities of Calphin are top- notch, providing a safe and conducive environment for swimmers of all levels. Coach Lei truly stands out in coaching. His expertise and dedication are evident in every session. His approach is not only professional and experienced but also infused with a level of patience that encourages swimmers to surpass their own expectations.

Penguin City is a great place for my son. We have being coming here for last 6 months and we couldn’t be happier with his progress. The owner is a gentleman, The water is perfect, the staff amazing. I’m really happy with Jasmine. I like how she teach my son. Thanks for everything Penguin City.

My youngest went through the full ISR curriculum and is now in the ISR maintenance program. Our experience with WeAquatics has been top notch. The office staff and support exceed my expectations with an easy to use portal, clear communications of any changes, straightforward billing, and promptness. The instructors are amazing and my son has thrived with the two he has had. They love him like their own in his lessons and I watch him work through challenges and find bravery alongside of them. It is really cool to see as a parent and we are thrilled.

Thanks to the city for making such a recreational place for the community.
Park has everything you need, fun , picnic , camping like experience, food and last but not least fun filled day for kids and adults. Staff is very friendly and fries were awesome
I wish neighbouring cities take such idea and implement for their residents

The instructors here are really high quality. As someone who never got to swim as a kid, I get really nervous in the water, but I really appreciate the patience of the instructors here and I think they do a really good job of explaining things.

Seems good with their coach. The facility looks average.

This is a great location to bring your child for swimming lessons. The pool is warm and the instructors are kind and patient. They make sure the children are learning while having fun. Craig the owner and the rest of the staff are great at what they do! 100% recommend.

would not be back again. couldn’t even enjoy it because they kept closing the pools every 30 min for like 15 min or more and with a toddler it was very frustrating. not worth the money. you’re better off going somewhere else.

No outside food but the food service inside couldn’t be a more garbage experience. Either up your capacity for food service or drop your ridiculous rule. I challenge the person who is in charge of it to come stand in line on a hot weekend day and stand there baking waiting for food service where you can’t even keep stocked the things people want.

Swimbox is amazing! I started lessons as a new and nervous adult swimmer, and I’m on my 13th lesson feeling much more comfortable doing all kinds of techniques. My coach Wallis seems to have infinite patience! She’s very kind and gentle with her instruction. She also has expert-level knowledge and comes up with all kinds of creative ways to instruct me on the whys and the hows of various movements. On top of this, she shows genuine care about how life has been for me between lessons. I look forward to each lesson. I’m grateful to Wallis, Lissa, Kelly, and all the coaches I’ve engaged with. Considering the focused coaching attention, the video playback, and underwater mirrors, Swimbox was hands-down the best way for me to learn how to swim as an adult!

We have had an incredible experience at penguin city. The owner Craig is amazing and really cares about giving the kids the best experience. My son has always been afraid of the water but with the nice warm pool he has jumped right in and is becoming more and more comfortable. He absolutely loves his instructor jasmine and has been learning so much from her. I highly recommend sending your kids to penguin city swim.

Great place. However they were supposed to re-open again as of June 1st and it has been at this point 2 months behind schedule and now they have given up giving an expected open date for the pools again which is very frustrating for those like me paying monthly to not even be able to use the pools for 2 months further than what was promised.

The pool location is so convenient for us. The instructors have been so kind and friendly and most importantly competent. My son is having a wonderful time. I signed up for more classes because I can see the difference in my son’s swimming ability. It’s remarkable.

It's a great facility and run efficiently. An amazing place for both summers as well as winters.
However, it becomes terribly hot and humid in summers being short of ventilation and inadequate air-conditioning.
lately, it's quite discomforting for Allen Residents as its closed for unspecified time with no timeline projected to reopen.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Like the other reviews, all they want to do is just to steal money from your wallet. The owner & managers are extremely rude. Once we entered the swim school and saw a parent fighting with the owner. The "swim coaches" are inexperienced. Some are actually very mean, and my daughter didn't even want to go to the classes. A few coaches though are very nice. Some young coaches don't really do their job and just talk to the lifeguards while in the water, TEACHING A CLASS. Classes are also expensive. HATE HATE HATE THIS PLACE. LISTEN TO THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS AND DO NOT COME HERE !!!!

I signed up for 10 sessions and it was a great learning experience. I had sessions with Dominic, Ryan and Wallis. The entire team was great. They were very knowledgeable, supportive and motivational.
As a beginner, the coaches, particularly Dominic, were instrumental in helping me develop foundational swimming skills with proper technique that I can now continue to build on. I am way more self-assured in the water and got to a point in my last session where I can now continually swim while taking breaths.
I would recommend to anyone looking to gain/improve their confidence in the water.

Sam was a fantastic instructor and I’m so glad my friend and I decided to learn to swim here. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️
Sam was funny, attentive and patient with us! He could tell when we were anxious and he helped us get out of our comfort zone to swim 🏊♀️
If you have 0 experience, this is the place to learn. Get the swim pack- worth it!

The price was good, and the pool wasn’t too crowded mid week. So we was able to find nice seating. I’m sure the weekend is busy for the price, and hard to find seating. They seemed to be fully staffed on lifeguards, we seen them rotating often. The bathrooms was way cleaner than most public places I’ve been. Only concerns I had was no bag check at check in, the exit gate isn’t monitored frequently, and teens letting friends in free, and some lifeguards aren’t paying attention, and allowing adults to vape, adults to throw balls around the pool, kids to run around. Over all not horrible place, just needs some updating.

This place is a joke. My daughters, husband and I went there yesterday. First, the older lady that works the window is very very rude. We live in Allen, but she still charged us the non resident cost, it was still cheap but it's the principle.
We got there at 4 and they close at 6. She did not tell us that at 5 they have swim lessons that almost take the whole pool. They made everyone get to one side of the pool, which was 2 ft deep and a small area as it's for the little ones. What are we supposed to do in 2 ft of water? Another lady had rented a cabana for 2 hours,4-6 for a birthday a d they had to move as well. So we went to leave and I asked one of the young girls at window why they don't tell people about the lessons. She said, ummmm well we don't give refunds. So we were charged the wrong price, and only got to swim for 1 hour. Complete rip off, everyone they do that to, is a win win for them in getting the extra money, knowing you will be forced to leave or sit in 2 ft of water. I don’t recently this place or will go back.

We had a fabulous time with our grandson enjoying lots of sun, water slides, lily pad challenge, pizza and Dippin dots!

My son goes there, place is nice and people are good too, little too crowded at the peak hours around 4. Good parking. Over all it is a good for what it is for.

Great for the kids, there's a target age here that's some where between 4 and 12 probably for the waterside to be fully enjoyed. The entire park is great, they allow pop up canopys and have separate sections for each age group and a splash pad that was unfortunately closed when we were there last weekend. They have fairly affordable food and a good safe family atmosphere although it does get busy after about 3pm, definitely after 4. Also the season pass is a good option if you plan to return and it will save you quite a bit.

Very nice water park. Kids enjoy a lot. They add too much bleach. They have too many different kind water slid. Mostly kids like sliding with round tubs. Mostly kids want double tube instead of single person. Regular ticket $8 person. Also they offer season pass for $92 per person. The have life safety jacket for small kids for free no any charge. No any big water park for adults.

Good value for the cost. The grassy area under the trees is perfect to set up a picnic blanket as a base for the day. They have chairs you can borrow. Probably recommend getting there earlier or renting one of their shades seats if you are getting there later.

Inexpensive swimming pool, good for families with small kids. No family shower room though.

Pool plaster is not the cleanest. Swim classes offered by the city of Allen provide some instruction and correction that drive improvement, but the engagement from instructors vary widely.
Some are focused on providing coaching while others chitchat with each other as much as they pay attention to the kids.

I love this place- a great central location in the city, clean locker rooms and such friendly attentive staff. The swim teachers give you the confidence you need and make it really fun and engaging. The schedules are great and they also are great about needing to reschedule or take a different class. I am a working mom of 3 and have wanted to learn to swim for the sake of my kids and never have time but Swim Easy has made it so fun - i cant wait to come back and bring my kids here.

Very bad experience with refunds. They unnecessary took 380$ from my card by mistake and taking more than 2 weeks to process the refund. They continue to delay the refund by another 3 business days which is really very bad after having waited for more than 2 weeks.

Hi if this place is open ???

I am so happy my boyfriend and I decided to take swim lessons here. Through the 8-class course I was able to learn at a comfortable pace and now feel empowered to continue honing my swimming abilities outside of the class. Going from zero experience swimming to being able to swim and tread in the deep end in such a short period of time was amazing. Joel was the best coach, motivator, and instructor!

Found WeAquatics in 2021 after trying group lessons. The coaches helped him become a strong swimmer and built his confidence in the water. The one on one lessons gave lots of practice time for swimming and building his knowledge of strokes. He loves swimming and even tried waterskiing for the first time. I’ve recommended WeAquatics to several people I know and and highly recommend to anyone looking to have a strong, confident swimmer.

Public pool, so reasonably priced but also potential for rough and rowdy middle schoolers or teen boys, making it difficult for parents with small kids. Pool closes 15min before actual closing time or even sooner if someone throws up or contaminates the pool which can take awhile to clean up. But large shallow section for kids with kiddie slides as well as big slide and lanes for serious swimmers.

Nice family friendly sly pool. Went there for swim classes. Restrooms could be better. Instructors are okay.

Coach Kidus and Zaid have been absolutely wonderful with my 4 year old. She had to overcome some fears of getting in the water, and they have built her trust in them through toys and play, so that she now trusts them to try new things which will help her to swim. She has made fantastic progress, and we look forward to jumping back in after the summer. We Aquatics is a fantastic program for kids and adults to learn how to swim, I highly recommend.

My daughter is 11 and she is swimming at a local year round swim team. I took my daughter to Calphin for semi private lesson, my daughter improve her score from C to A standard in 4 month. I am very happy with the coaching team.

It’s a smaller family friendly pool. There is a lap pool which is deeper. A cool slide, tiny kid area. Also quite a few picnic tables. It doesn’t matter what day you go, it doesn’t get very busy.

It was a great experience. Before taking the lesson, the front crawl was the only form I swam comfortably. After taking a few classes, I can swim backstroke and breaststroke without hesitation! Amazing! The instructors I had were patient and very kind. My friend had never learned to swim, and now she can swim after taking a few classes. Impressive! If anyone asks me where to learn to swim, I recommend this place.

The entire team of instructors are AWESOME! Very patient, fun and provide support when needed and firm when necessary. In just the 4 classes I've attended as a novice non-swimmer with no prior experience, am now able to float, breathe under water and begin to do laps. I have 4 more classes which I believe at the end will allow me to be able to swim, and enjoy it, without any need for instructors or equipment. Very much recommend.

My 11-year old daughter has loved Lissa, her coach (aka her counselor), since day one. Her words: “Lissa is amazing. She is very helpful with technique and asks questions to make sure you understand. I personally like her because she’s easy to talk to. She also keeps things fun.”

Penguin City Swim has been fantastic for our daughter. She’s 4 1/2 and loves the water but needed more formal training. Craig, who runs the site is super friendly. Her teacher, Sabrina, is amazingly patient and at her second lesson she had her swimming underwater! The pool is heated which is nice and we use the showers and locker room after which is very convenient. We go to the 45th street location in the city which is right next to Grand Central. We’ll be coming back for the next level!

I absolutely love SwimBox! Lissa has changed my relationship with water. She has also helped me work towards some goals that were important to me. If you are an adult wondering if you can still figure out swimming, book a lesson!

Jena is the best instructor, so patient and kind. Had me floating on my back in the first lesson, which is terrifying for me. Would highly recommend this program, but especially Jena she is a lovely person.

Well organised competition pool with perfect temperature. Love the giant fan. Friendly life guards, good atmosphere. Other swimmers polite about lane sharing when busy. Great place. Decent gym facilities abd leisure pool for kids

love the pool one thing I don't like is you have to be over 16 to use the hot tub and there somewhat strict about that rule but it's a nice pool got a play area for children and an Olympic pool with lazy river and bigger water slide for bigger kids/adults there locker rooms are really nice

Love SwimBox! I feel so lucky to be taking swimming lessons with Lissa, she knows her stuff and is great at instructing.
For the first 31 years of my life, I've avoided bodies of water if I couldn't touch the bottom or didn't have a float. I only really knew how to do a loose breaststroke and it would exhaust me immediately.
After only six lessons with Lissa, I'm already learning the basics of freestyle and gaining confidence in the water. Can't wait for the day when I can swim laps in a pool or across a deep pond, things that are finally within my reach thanks to SwimBox!

My two children (ages 6 and 7) have been taking private swim lessons with WeAquatics from June to present. I highly recommend this company! They have a professional, pleasant, and friendly staff. The instructors are highly skilled, safe, and patient. In the beginning, my children were very afraid of the pool. The instructors were good with getting my children comfortable with the water and they continue to boost their confidence. I think it's a plus that they pair each student with the same instructor weekly; thus allowing the child to easily establish trust. Each week, my children look forward to going to their swim lessons. We've had an excellent experience so far!

Great place, pools well kept, pool area clean, instructors good. However the swimming pool water temperature was always cold, too cold. You come out shivering with goose pimples always.

It was very crowded, and one pool was closed. Due to the heat, we had to get out of the water at 1 and 3 pm to give life guards breaks. It needs to be cleaned up and better staffed. I don't understand with these heat waves why it has to close for the season on Labor Day.

Indoor swimming pool is so nice as it’s too hot out! Enjoyed lazy river, kids area, and diving board.

Highly Recommend, we have seen incredible progression with our daughter.
Her teacher is very skilled in working with children including those with water anxiety. If you are considering swim lessons I suggest you give AW a try. We tried 2 other local well known swim schools and neither compared.
The billing/ online tool is great and allows you to schedule/cancel/ classes and allows for make -ups. Seriously cannot recommend enough!

Definitely a fun place to come and relax also let the kids play and there is different kinds of activities to do here for everyone from young to old. Tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, swimming, football field and soccer field.

There aren’t enough words to describe how much I love Swim Box. I am an adult learn to swim swimmer and I’ve enjoyed each and every one of my sessions. I train with Dominic and he’s absolutely amazing. He makes all my sessions fun and I can see my growth after every session. I’ve also met a lot of the staff and they’re all super nice and super knowledgeable. Coming to swim sessions has truly become my favorite part of the week. No matter if you’re new to swimming like me, trying to improve your swim skills or you’re a competitive swimmer, this is the place for you.

Hi, did this place reopen ?

We came before the Covid shutdown to a birthday party here and I don't remember it being so dirty.
I'm seriously shocked the city hasn't shut it down.
The lazy river is literally black from algae build up and all other areas are gross with algae build up starting or there already.
Considering the incident that just happened in Arlington you would think cleanliness, especially of a public pool, would be taken more seriously. We wanted to have a party here in a few months but definitely won't be back. This place needs a major clean up and probably testing of waters.

Great outing for a rainy/thunderstorm day. Kids 2 & under are free, so I just paid the $5 adult admission. For a 2 year old and 1 year old, this was a nice one hour outing (as we were swimming before dinner time since availability for free swim isn’t until 1pm/when my toddlers are napping). They have family restrooms and there’s a shower in them, which was helpful for changing into swim diapers before for the kids.
One star taken off for the one roach that fell from the air duct while we were in the lazy river (which actually had a decent current for us 3, as I’m navigating the toddlers in their puddle jumpers). I brought my own puddle jumpers, but noticed they have a bunch of life vests in various sizes near the kids area if your littles aren’t swimming yet.

It was uncrowded on a pleasant Thursday afternoon. Relaxing as long as you don't mind a few screaming toddlers (I don't). Staff was friendly and professional. This place is one of the best things about Antioch. Bring the family and enjoy.

This is an awesome location for a pool day with the family. We spent more than 3 hours here. The price was great as well. $4 per kid...

My son learns to swim at Strongwater Swim. The instructors are mature, friendly and patient. I like the fact that you have the same instructor every week, so there is no confusion. Also the pool is big and not crowded, swimming groups are small.
I wasted money with other swimming schools before finding Strongwater. I would definitely recommend Strongwater for all ages if you really want to learn to swim.
