New to kayaking and had a great experience renting kayaks here and exploring Spa Creek right alongside the yachts and sailboats! We were also interested in purchasing so asked lots of questions. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Not pushy at all and encouraged us to try different kayak rentals. Returned and purchased a couple of months later because our experiences at this shop were great!
Great neighborhood shop. I'm relatively new to the area and had to pick up some parts to customize my rec kayak. The gentleman behind the counter, Dave, was very friendly and helped me find what I needed. I'll definitely be coming back

Awesome company! I did the intro to kayaking course with them (Bailey was the best instructor!) and rafting. They also helped me with what kind of kayak I’ll need to get to learn more on!
We had such a great time white water rafting, even though the water level was a bit low and the thrill factor wasn’t as high as it could be with higher water. Despite that, our guides Dylan and Patric went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. They were fun, professional, and really made sure we enjoyed every moment. We also got lucky with the weather, but that’s something you can’t control when booking. What you can count on is the RVA Paddlesports making sure you have a fantastic time no matter the conditions!
I am not new to sound bowls with Shanna IG: @sacred_vibes_yoga ✨ but my first experience with sound bowl on the water was one to remember. Thank you WaterfrontRVA for such an amazing experience everyone was very friendly and helpful! 10/10 💗
Love this place, always so easy and the staff are so very friendly. Lockers available and never had a problem finding parking in the area even on a Saturday afternoon. Easy on and off the water. Walking distance to waterfront eating too.
Fantastic experience! We did the Pump House Park canal trip with Victor and it was so much fun. Victor greeted us with a smile and was very enthusiastic about being our guide. The paddle was relaxing and calm. The canal had trees covering us on both sides so we stayed shaded and cool. Overall a great experience!
This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend anyone give it a try. The instructor was very patient and informative. The entire journey from picking up your gear, to paddling across the river, to participating in class, and receiving photos of your time on the board, was top-notch. I can’t even explain the feeling of empowerment of accomplishing this activity and how surreal it felt on the river at sunset watching the skyline.
I always have a great time with Waterfront RVA! Whether I’m paddle boarding solo or joining one of their paddle boarding sound bowl classes with Shanna from Sacred Vibes Yoga, I’m in my happy place on The James!

The Wilson Leadership Fellows from H-SC had a blast paddling the James with RVA Paddlesports! I would highly recommend this company if you want to get out on the water in Richmond. 🤙
My sister and I did the lower James Whitewater Rafting trip today and had the BEST time! Emily was our tour guide and she was very professional and kept us safe while keeping things super fun! She also told us about the history of parts of Richmond as we passed by.
They also have a photographer who takes photos that you can purchase for a very reasonable price!

Had a great time kayaking around Annapolis. Annapolis Kayaks directed us to go down Spa Creek, and we enjoyed looking at the beautiful scenery and boats. Fabulous service and relaxed atmosphere.
We had a great time with Hugh who has been on the river for years and had a wealth of knowledge and was entertaining ans well. It was a good mix of swimming, floating, paddling and wildlife/nature. Hugh even brought a pineapple to cut up fresh as a snack. Upper rapids were a good start for us but we are definitely ready for lower. Will definitely go again!
Its always a great day when you can get on the water in a spot with the best view of the city. I was on my daily walk, saw the rentals available and was out paddling within minutes. Thanks for making my last day of vacation relaxing/fun!
Such an amazing view! I recommend 2 hours or more. We had the perfect amount of time to paddle upstream and sit and relax and admire the view then paddle back. Also enjoyed jumping off the island. Staff were super nice and helpful!
Great and professional. My group of 8 people came and rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards for an hour. They provided life vests, lockers, and personnel to assist with launching of the boats. An amazing experience all around. Just be careful of the extremely small parking lot in front of their shop. There are two other parking lots (free) very close to them.
My experience doing the sound bath yoga on paddle boards was AMAZING!! The two staff were helpful and friendly and the experience is one I’ll always remember. It helped rejuvenate my soul and spirit. Totally work the money!!
Excellent experience with Coach Casey. Fun and chillaxed approach to letting kids learn how to ride the board and give them freedom to just have fun in the water.

Success, with the help of Dave, we were able to try out our dream kayaks and purchase them with ease. Dave was extremely helpful and patient as he explained the pros/cons of each kayak that we asked about. I bought a kayak over 20 years ago at this same place and now returned to buy two more kayaks. Wonderful selection of kayaks and great customer service. Dave even helped us load the kayaks on my car and lent us straps to do so properly. Highly recommend for both renting kayaks and purchasing them.

Scott has worked with me on scheduling different days due to weather, and being extremely communicative and helpful to reschedule with my hectic schedule. Great vibes, and so far a great experience and i havent even made it to the lake yet!
Scott was a fantastic instructor and the lake was perfectly setup for learning. The team at Clermont Watersports made me feel safe through the whole process and was right there any time I went down. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Beautiful lake and property. Secluded area, easy to find and tons of fun. We came to ride the Jetsurf boards and had a great time. It is a must try in Orlando. Brian and Casey were very accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable. They will have you up and riding in no time.. And don't forget to ask to see the mongoose!
We had a blast and the owner was friendly, helpful and patient with us as we had not driven a boat in a bit:-) Being on the river was lovely! We had a late afternoon trip and felt confident about the weather, as the owner was clear he would not let us go out in inclement weather or if a storm looked too close.

Owners/staff are amazing and easy to work with. Called ahead and made reservation, boat was exactly what we were looking for and at a good price. Family had a blast and will rent again when we are back in the area.
Casey might be the chillest dude you'll ever meet. Great instructor, patient and positive. I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson and quickly picked up on the sport with Casey's help and at a fantastic venue to boot. The private lake is awesome and provides you with all the room you need. Additionally, once you pick up on how it works and you're ready to start making the jump to intermediate, they have a sweet course that they run you through.

One of the most beautiful JetSurf spots I've ever visited. And the guys (Cliff, Courtney, Casey and Will) are doing a great job when it comes to Academy lessons. Definitely worth visiting and spending a day there. My favorite spot in Orlando.
We rented the 19ft bow rider for 4 hours. The folks at the rental place are very friendly and help you get setup on the boat quickly. The boats are good but are old and don't have any amenities. Overall the rental price is decent but it would be nice if the boats were newer and offered better features. The river is great! We cruised up the river and went off to one of the inlets where we anchored and got in the water. The water is warm in August and great to be in. The river can get a little choppy if the winds pick up but for the most part it's a pretty calm river.
Rented a pontoon boat and loved it. We were able to seat 9 adults, some of them smaller people, comfortably. Enjoyed tubing! Sadly, they forgot that we had a reservation so we waited an hour for someone to show up, but once they got us signed in, everything went smoothly. Just call the day before to confirm. They gave us a discount for the inconvenience.
I tried sky boarding over there during my visit from Florida. The owner and his family are really nice and welcoming. I experienced great customer service and really enjoyed. The only thing you should know is that it is not easy to fly and stay up the lake!
Although my hisband and son enjoyed the actual experience of the flyboard and jetovator, we certainly did NOT get our money’s worth & felt deceived. When booking, we were told they would have 1-1/12 hours on each ride, and that they could go together on the jetovator. We were told nothing about the helmet with the speaker and having to pay an extra $25 PER PERSON, even though there was only one helmet. The staff person was very personable and accommodating but our experience started 1/2 hour later than we’d booked by the time he’d finished with previous customers. Then he had to switch the hose between the flyboard and jetovator which took several minutes, and once a bolt or something broke, taking even longer. When my husband and son were going to ride the jetovator tandem, they were told they couldn’t because it’s weight-based and only two children or small people can do tandem, (not average size). So what we thought was going to be 3 hours of fun actually turned out to br about one hour of actual ride time, if that. And the $50 additional charge for them to wear the helmet was ridiculous! Nice staff, shoddy equipment, extra charges, but a fun (but short) ride.
Casey was awesome. He was patient and very helpful. The jetovator was a BLAST! Some updated and clean wetsuits would be an added improvement. Other than that, our experience was great!!
This experience was awesome, I loved it! The staff was very friendly, and the owner, Jaime, is very knowledgeable about all the equipment and really knows what he is doing. He will make you feel safe knowing that your'e in good hands. I would definitely do this again, in fact, I'm already planning my next trip!
This experience was amazing for me and my friends! We flew on first try by purchasing the head set to guide us in flight (and you are flying). This is a family owned business, so you know they want you to enjoy every second. I definitely recommend this (no matter your personal age restrictions) they can get you flying. Owner is very fair as to weather or any problems that may arise with new/experience flyers. I definitely recommend you fly here!

The next time you are on the island - check out Solomons Boat Rental! I promise you will be happy with your experience. We rented a boat from this establishment for two hours and were just blown away by the experience. Extremely helpful and great conversation with the entire staff. Being able to experience the area on the water was a highlight of our stay for the holiday weekend and we were so happy that we decided to rent the boat and go out on the water. The day was perfect and the staff helped to make us feel comfortable with our first time driving a boat! Thanks again. We will be back :)
