Had a great experience here. They price matched their retail merchandise without me even asking. The two guys we interacted with were very kind and helpful. Not the newest gear inventory but you will have a pleasant rental experience.
Mixed experience. It’s a very small venue that hosts a ton of weddings. There were two in the five hours we were there. No mention when booking that the weddings are their priority. We were told six times to stay out of view of them while in the lake. It’s fine if you want to go out on the lake and not come in but you won’t be able to SUP back and forth in front of the beach or move freely about the (small) facility. Also expect to hear the lame playlist blasted everywhere. I’m sure the wedding parties weren’t pleased with us and multiple jet skiers right next to them either. When we wanted to leave our car was completely blocked by catering trucks.
That said the guys that helped us were very nice and experienced and the lack was beautiful.

I went here with my dad last week and had a blast! I’m from the PNW so it was my first time on a cable! I ride a lot of boat so I picked it up super easily. Employees were nice and gave me tips on how to land different tricks. Definitely coming back when I’m in a own again!
Went on my own to a Get up guarantee lesson that allows you to stay for 4 hrs on the cables afterwards and it was awesome! Listened to all the advice provided by Jordan, and then after I was standing on the standard cable in no time. During the lesson he got me standing with confidence in what felt like right away! The rest of my time I was having fun, falling, and getting a great feel of comfort on the board. Can’t wait to come back!
This place is amazing! I love the hang out area and the food was great too! The cable park is why I visited and I'll be back again to try some of the advanced features. The staff here are all very nice too :)

My wife, stepdaughter and I had a great time on our sunset cruise. Though the weather wasn’t the most cooperative it didn’t diminish the experience in anyway. Our host/tour guide/owner could not have been nicer, chatting us up on the local environment and developments. We all left saying what enjoyable experience it was and such a lovely location to paddle. Don’t hesitate about going yourself.
Our group had a wonderful time at Oceanport Paddle Club! All of the staff were very kind and friendly. Most of our group had never tried paddle boarding before, they brought a sense of ease and comfort to everyone. It was a really great event!
Had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding in the bay. Current pulled my nephew a bit far and the young man running the rentals for the day paddled out to help us get him back to safety. Great fun and great service. Will definitely be back!
This was our first adventure paddleboarding. My daughter and I were greeted upon arrival and the boards and life jackets were on the water. We were measured for the paddle length and then guided down the dock; safety was a priority. For the hour rental, we were provided landmarks for reference. They offer to hold your keys, which I recommend. We paddled at low tide and had no difficulty building our confidence to stand. There were several people along the journey along the banks and they are always happy for a quick conversation. We observed birds, crabs, fish, and jellyfish. No worries, the jellyfish can not sting through human skin, but honestly for our first time, we stayed dry. Overall and outstanding experience and we will return.
Love the experience ! You can easily book this online. Definitely worth taking the family or a date - prices aren’t super steep either. They charged $90 for (2) double-person Kayaks for an hour. They outline pretty decent boundaries with buoys and give you basic tips to make the most out of your experience. Easy for first timers. However, due it being a recreational park the park charges you about $20 to park for the day. The good thing is that you can also access the beach before or after you kayak and make a whole day trip out of it, complete with a picnic. If you really want to out do yourself - the Twinslight lighthouse is across the bridge and you can climb the top of the tower.

Go early. Crazy busy. Take your own pump, no fill-up station. Get your own floaty. Rental prices are insane. Super fun. We paddled, so it was over in a jiffy. Just float, take your time, relax, and enjoy. So excited to do it again.
Captain Connor was really an amazing guide for the medium level 2hr trip white water rafting. He was hilarious and great to converse with the whole time. Definitely made the experience remembered for our first time going on the Colorado river!

This is my first time here and I had a great time everyone was so friendly especially Christine and Lenny! oh and if you're under 35 you have to take a test, but they are very helpful. I will definitely return!
I liked everything, good service, friendly staff. The cost of renting one kayak is $25 per hour. It is better to swim out to the middle of the bay, as there are big waves near the shore and it becomes difficult to row.
Colin Sean and Bella make a great team. Together they provided excellent customer service. We really enjoyed our hour long kayak excursion. The prices were decent. The water was incredibly warm and it was easy to navigate even though it was a bit choppy. Next time we will rent the SUPs.

Had a great time at Sandy Hook Kayak! The staff are AMAZING - Colin, Bella and Sean were super helpful and accommodating. It feels like a small, family-run spot and not your typical commercial shore business. I hadn’t planned to kayak today and wasn’t fully prepared, but it didn’t matter. They offered to hold my bag behind the counter, lent me a complimentary water-tight phone pouch and helped us in and out multiple times as the kids changed their minds. Highly recommend!
W experience. I enjoyed kayaking. Colin was amazing and happy to work with us to teach us. Bella brought out our kayak, and Sean was just pleasant to be around for our time when we were kayaking. I rate the kayaking crew, and will be back to see them again

Would be nice to be able to reserve online. It's first come first serve basis in person so we had to wait an hour and forty min for a raft
We rented a raft late however we made the pick up time with 30 min to spare. The float was great except for the fact the groundskeeper forced us into the water. Asking frequently what we were waiting on and telling us that we had 5 min to get into the water. They have a pick up time of 8:50 pm and the place to rent closes at 6 but the grounds keeper has to have everyone off the grass by 6:20? The way he approached the conversation was disrespectful and highly suggest supplying your own rafts to avoid the raised prices and harassment.
Dutch was a great tour guide and was interesting to talk with and made great conversation. He was very knowledgeable about the river and area and was even able to point out a family of bald eagles. We had a great time with our family and even got to float in the refreshing Colorado River. I’d highly recommend doing this trip. It was great for our 3 year old son and our 15 year old son with autism. They did great and had fun. It was a memorable experience!
This past weekend we held a family reunion at Oceanport Paddle Club and the experience was AMAZING. Jenn, Drew, Mark and Chris all were helpful, efficient and organized. I would definitely have another event here.
Money well-spent. Makes the whole raftering experience soooo easy. Ages 2-75 in a 6-man paddle raft.
Very fun float! SUPER organized and exceptionally kind & friendly staff. The float rentals are a little pricey, but they are QUALITY rafts. We parked at Barber ($7) and floated to Ann Morrison park. When we arrived at the second park, there were staff greeting us and helping us collect the floats that we rented, as well as pointing us to the shuttle bus and restrooms. The float on the river took us a little less than 2 hours, but the whole activity was probably about 3 hours. We rented the 2 person kayak and it was perfect! We probably didn’t need both oars. I’m glad we did the kayak instead of the tubes since we brought a cooler. The 4 and 6 person rafts looked fun, too!

Whitewater Rafting LLC adjusted and put us all on the Roaring Fork river. We left late because of this. Guide (Kai) was great, weather was great, views were beautiful, but river and rapids were definitely a disappointment. They did offer free duckies/kayaks, to go with our rafting group, and that improved the experience. We otherwise had a float, and only really hit 1-2 mild (Class II ?) rapids.
When we returned, they asked in the front office how it was. I told them the good parts, but it was disappointing overall. The staff just frowned and acknowledged it. I would have liked to see them discount our booking. I didn’t push them for this - it wasn’t their fault, but it wasn’t ours and we did not get what we booked for Shoshone class III-IV. I think they should hav just charged us the ‘mild’ rate of $55 (vs. the $69 paid), or something closer to that would have felt fair and reasonable.
In the end, we were glad we could do ‘something’, and the team there was fun and nice, but I’m disappointed they didn’t adjust pricing to match the experience. It was a pretty extreme situation to have I-70 closed for hours the morning of (due to a semi roll-over). I would still recommend them, but book the Shoshone river and if they have to adjust, I would suggest getting a refund instead (unless you want just a mild river float).

This company is top notch. Everyone was experienced and very professional. We had a great time with our guide Ryan called Coach. He was awesome and a lot of fun with the grandkids. Definitely would recommend and go back again. Thank you for the fun day.
This is legit white water rafting at a great value. We did a full day and did 3 hours on the Colorado including the Shoshone Rapids (challenging class llll rapids) and then after lunch we did 3 hours on the Roaring Fork River which had great rapids and near nonstop rapids. We loved our guide Rosie who took our group of 8 in a large raft for the morning and then let us take single ducky kayaks in the afternoon. After a scary tip over down some serious rapids Rosie helped me get back in my boat which was no easy fear. (I'm a heavy girl who was exhausted after trying not to drown in 54 degree water). Due to the busy holiday weekend we did get delayed 1 hour in the middle of the day which made for a long day all together. But, overall our group had a great time. All the staff were knowledgeable, skilled, friendly and fun! We also purchased the photos that they took of us (over 50 shots) and really appreciate the quality and value of the option to purchase them all. We also found great t-shirts in their shop to remember our day. These are the best rapids I've been on after rafting in Costa Rica, Montana, and Wisconsin. I would recommend this company to anyone no matter their skill level.
This was the most fun I have had in a long time. The first 20-30 minutes was the best but the rest of the day was great. The wife and I did the six hour tour. The complete experience was outstanding the staff were professional and the guides were there to keep you safe and keep it fun. After lunch they allowed us to switch to inflatable kayaks for who ever wanted to attempt it. I would give this a 10 across the board if it were allowed. Once again thanks to all the staff it was an outstanding experience.
I am a local and have been coming to OWC for years now. However I have been taking many more boat sets in the last few years as Wake Surfing has been a bigger part of my riding. The coaches and boat experience has been amazing. Even hosting an event put on by Anns Angels which our special needs daughter loved. I have been more impressed in the recent past than i ever have.
Webbs was great and so were our boat mates. I wish we would have done the lower half, too. They advertised age 2+ but the rapids we hit were definitely more advanced than that. 5+ is more accurate. But we also came at peak time after an extremely wet season so that probably caused it to be more intense than normal. Regardless… 5 star and if I could give more stars, I would.
We had an awesome time on the Colorado River with Whitewater rafting, LLC. Not knowing how our 8 year old daughter would like it, we had booked a short, mild float. We all loved it so much that we extended our time to a half day trip while still on the river. Our guide, Larry, was absolutely amazing. He was great with everyone on the raft and very knowledgeable of the river and the Glendwood Springs area in general. Everyone in the office and all of the guides that we interacted with were extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with. We had purchased the photo package in advance and the pictures did not disappoint. If we are ever in the Glenwood area again we will most definitely be taking another rafting trip with Whitewater rafting.
Amazing place and great staff, we went to have our kids wakeboard, we usually wakeboard behind our boat, they had so much fun, Nathan the instructor was really nice and patient and spent extra time as needed to make our kids safe and comfortable in the cable, Markita (i hope im spelling her name right) was very welcoming at the counter and really helped us and was super friendly, we will be back for sure!!

We are so glad we chose to do a private tour. Felipe was a great guide and very knowledgeable! It was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. We seen and touched a baby shark. Seen lots of fish, lobster, stingrays, etc. and he gave us many other recommendations of stuff to do in Miami! Would definitely recommend.

Felipe was amazing! He even took great pictures and videos for us. It was our first time snorkeling and he was really patient and kind. Definitely worth the drive from South Beach.
We went for my husbands birthday and we had an awesome time, definitely will be back. Connor was so nice and great with us and my 8yr old grand daughter. Great experience!! Already making plans for next visit!!.

Felipe was personal, friendly, and very patient. You can tell he enjoys this job. I had a 10-year-old son with me snorkeling for the very first time. My son was so comfortable with him that he held on to the float and snorkel while Felipe dragged him in the water. It was a private boat tour and snorkel. Beautiful view of all the high rises and Felipe filled us in the history. Thank you Felipe for making it memorable.
Staff was friendly and nice. Jet Skis were well maintained. Family had a great time. Only downfall was we did not know ahead of time drivers under 18 could not carry a passenger including siblings. This would have adjusted our rental. I made them aware that this is not mentioned on website and should be added.
What a blast! I took a surf lesson with Jordan. He was super helpful, upbeat, and encouraging. Before my surf lesson I spent the morning on the beginner cable course, and Jordan came by and gave me some pointers, which was above and beyond. It was a really awesome experience and wonderful hospitality from the entire staff!
We had an absolute blast! We booked a 3 hour private boat and we could not have asked for a better experience. Booking the experience was easy, we were met as soon as we arrived and escorted to our boat. Captain Erik was excellent and professional and a really nice guy! He was knowledgeable about the area, we felt safe, he took us snorkeling and was always on top of safety and giving us the best experience. We saw Manatees, we saw dolphins. Erik gave us everything and more! We had time to snorkel as well as swim at the sand bar as well as touring around Fisher Island and all along the coast. Erik could not have been better. We were so lucky to have gotten him as our Captain. Highly recommend. Three hours felt more like five. It was the highlight of our trip! Thank you so much!

It was my first time using a jet ski so I was a little nervous about the experience but it turned out wonderful. We booked our reservation earlier and when we arrived, there was little to no waiting time. We received basic training on what we needed to do, the direction we should use the jet ski and safety and then we went off to have a fun experience. Our booking was for 1 hour and it was nice and felt like the right amount of time.
This is an excellent tube run. Bring your own tube and save$$. Shuttle picks up 6 miles downriver at Ann Richards park and cost a mere $3. Parking is $7. It fills up by noon on weekends but there are some overflow areas when that happens. The first rapid is a 1 ft standing wave but no danger. Floaters themselves were well mannered and not drinking heavily like many other tube floats.
If you haven't done this, you should. Great experience. My family and I have done this at least 10 times in the last two years. The float is approximately 2 hours. From the time I leave my house and get back it's six hours. Usually stop at an all you can eat on the way home. My grandkids just love the river.
I have never done this before I parked by the tube rental rented a two person float kayak which came with life jackets took two hours to go down river.I went in early in the morning 10 am on a saturday so it wasn't too crowded. Once we got to the end we realized we didn't buy a ticket to go back. Luckily they have staff there taking the equipment and charging to get on the bus. Staff were very friendly the bus driver was super funny.
Hours say they are open from eleven to eight p.m. everyday. Went to try and rent something a little after four thirty and the kid running the shack told me they stop renting at four thirty. So the hours they apparently show on their site are false. Or kid just didn't feel like working anymore that day.
Had my first surf lesson with this school and could not be happier! My instructor Lou was very knowledgeable. He made the experience incredibly informative and fun. I feel like I learned so much. If you are looking to start surfing in this area I definitely recommend you start here!!
My husband and I loved the sunset kayak tour so much - what a fun and different night. There was a mix of kids and adults, kayaks and paddle boards. It was awesome and so well run. Just like they say - good vibes only. Can’t wait to go again! You can grab some food and drinks at the marina there beforehand too.
Love this place. Everyone knowledgeable and got a great paddleboard and accessories. My husband had a ball talking about the old days with Gus. Took a girlfriend there and then paddleboarding and now she wants to go back and get a board. Fun place.

The wakeboarding attraction was a total adrenaline rush! I had an absolute blast riding the waves and performing tricks on the wakeboard. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent guidance for beginners like me. It's a must-visit spot for all thrill-seekers and water sports enthusiasts. I can't wait to go back and catch some more air on the wakeboard! 🏄♂️🌊🤙

On the other hand, there was Lance - a tough task-master, who pushed us through our limits. Both were a killer combination in getting me on-board (literally :)) with my very 1st shot at surfing.
To top it all, I was lucky to be a part of a crew full of trainees that were so co-operative, so friendly!!!
Can't wait to go again... & again 🏄

A quick in and out, not guaranteed. 9am opening was not quite accurate. Owner arrived at 9am, and about 915am when they were able to start helping us. Finally had boards in hand shortly after 10am. Staff were helpful though. Wasn’t on the mountain until 11am. Not a great start.
Hi! Had a really fun time learning the surfing basics with Lance. My boyfriend wasn't able to come with me even though I had paid for both our lessons so I'm hoping to get credited for his lesson (either a refund or be scheduled another lesson). I had a wonderful experience here! I was looking to transport a kayak from the shore to Connecticut. Needless to say I was worried it would be difficult. After this shop was recommended, I called and had great service.

Recently purchased a new Old Town Sportsman 120. Bob and the staff were excellent. When I was first looking to buy a kayak, Bob took the time to explain everything about this kayak. He answered all of my questions and was very honest about the delivery date due to the shortage because of the COVID pandemic. On e the kayak came in, he took more time to explain more features. Staff helped me load it into my truck. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or rent a kayak.

I went with a group. The planning went very smoothly. They are very helpful and accommodating with the plans. The instructors are all great! They were very nice in making alternate plans with bad weather. Will definitely come again!
Bought a kayak from the owner Bob. He was knowledgeable and very accommodating. The price could not be beat, he definitely values his customers.
Place was a mess. I could not find my kids boots size easily because the boots was scattered all over the floor. The employees they not do much to help me find the correct size. The older gentleman was not very helpful with my rentals. The younger guys seem to be more helpful, but when I went to check out the young man was sitting down behind the counter the entire time. I'm a big believer that people should stand up when dealing with customers. Other than that, the prices are great but the selection was kind of small. Which is okay because it's a small store. My biggest complaint is just the mess and the lack of customer service.
Our instructor was very good with the technical aspect of paddleboarding, but he was abrasive and condescending otherwise, like a drill sergeant. When I reached out to the owner regarding my experience, no one had the decency to get back to me.
My sons, aged 16, 13 and 9, had a great lesson with Lance today. They were up on the boards much faster than I expected beginners would be, and had a fantastic time in the water with him. They are now completely hooked on surfing. Thanks to Jennifer for rescheduling twice when the weather didn't cooperate, and to Lance for your patient, enthusiastic and capable instruction! We'll be back!

Great place to rent from! Very accommodating and affordable compared to other competitors. Very nice to work with and will deliver supplies to your place of interest! Jersey local and rent from every year!
We were able to schedule a last-minute surf lesson on the last day of our vacation and will definitely be back next year! Jennifer was very accommodating of our schedule and James was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable instructor. They even sent out another instructor when they realized we were running out of time and hadn't gotten in too many waves yet (there were three of us, so James was outnumbered). Great people, highly recommended!
Did pretty much everything they have to offer. Kayak tours on the weekends, best kayak tour through sedge islands in the state park, tour guides were so nice and full of knowledge. Did stand up paddle boarding and they have a two hour special now at their beach. They also deliver boats and pickups for one price. i highly recommend going there and trying out either paddling boarding or kayaking. They have free lessons for newbies too. If you don't mind getting your feet wet, this is the place to go at the Jersey shore!
