This place is the worst, has no respect for the drivers. They don't understand that we get paid by deliveries not by hours. Is the same problem every time, we have to wait a lot and nobody pays for this wasted time. The should start at 5am to organice the material and that way everything is ready a 6am.

The worst system of filling the dump trucks, they take too long for the process, they are inconsiderate with the drivers' time, everyone wants to get home early and the worst is that the dump trucks pay them per trip.
Anyone who is interested and can help with this problem would be of great help.
If you need reliable service, this is the Company. Excellent experience!

Beautiful space, dedicated and focused volunteers.
The third week in a row they didn't pick my recycling at on Brinkerhoff Street. I literally sat on my porch watching them skip my house.😡 I'm not yelling at the truck for you to do your jobs.

The Compost Collective can take all of your vegetable, fruit and bakery waste and donate all of it for recycling into top quality compost for use in all City Parks and even in your garden! The CC has an informative mandatory free class for membership in the CC. Classes are the first Saturday of every month except February when the CC is closed. After class completion you can drop off recyclable ♻️ waste and pickup compost bags when available by appointment. In the meantime, when you visit, you will enjoy an educated and spirited staff managed by Carlos. You can also recycle your garden questions, needs and wants with Carlos who can offer you solutions or adjustments which will benefit your garden.

Horrendous place , make sure to bring a bed you might have to wait to next morning to dump or pickup avoid at all cost
Local composting sites like this are key to a not just sustainable, but regenerative future for NYC! Big Reuse is doing great work

I work here for a little bit but not a bad place to work if you don't mind working outside
Collect compost every Saturday 12-2. Distribute compost in the spring
Beautiful place

The guy with the red mustache, that drives around on the golf cart is very condescending and arrogant. The rest of the people are pretty nice though.
An awesome place to volunteer or to pick up some black dirt (compost)! It's great that some of New York City's food waste is being diverted from landfills and going here (along with other locations) to produce compost. I highly recommend volunteering at the NYC Compost Project.
Superior service and professionalism. Craig and the guys are prompt, reliable, thorough, and very knowledgeable with excavation and trucking. Highly recommend them for your next project!

This is the best place I have ever worked! The pay is amazing, and the management onsite are extremely honest and considerate. They work with clients and try to accommodate them as much as possible. I highly recommend this facility.
The incinerator authority does not provide great service when it comes to street cleaning the vehicle and equipment they have needs to be updated and the drivers of the sweepers need better training these people who run this program do not care about doing there job correctly the streets after they sweep are still filthy .
The JCIA personnel who came out Wednesday morning, June 24, 2015 (New York Ave.) did an excellent job in cleaning and hauling away the tremendous amount of garbage and debris that had accumulated in and around a bank owned property in my neighborhood. Thank you.
7.8/10 too much water for an incinerator.
