Myself and 5 friends are vacationing in the city for new years and we needed a place to eat dinner one night. We decided on Jade Tree and it was the best decision we could have made. The service was amazing. Food came out fast and hot and everything tasted fresh. I mean it genuinely when I say they have the best ramen/bento/sushi I’ve had in a long time. We are planning on going back to get some sushi and pork buns before we head home. We will be making the drive just to eat their food again very soon!

So sad to be leaving a bad review, especially at my long time favorite Chinese carry out spot. I got food poisoning immediately 3-4 hours after eating.

Also, just stop selling crab rangoons if you’re not going to put filling in it. It’s unfair to people who crave them and pay $10 for 5 pieces.

The beef lo mein was disgusting (and I do NOT use that word lightly) and they made the delivery driver wait around 20 mins after it took 30 mins for a driver to accept the order.
My food was late and I did not get my money's worth because I had to throw away the food.

"I've had the pleasure of experiencing Jade both for table service and through DoorDash, and I can honestly say they never disappoint! Every meal I've ordered has been absolutely delicious, and I've never had an issue with missing items. Their boba teas are always a perfect treat! I'm so pleased with the quality and consistency of their food and service. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend!"

After my original chinese spot burned me, I was on the hunt for a new spot. Uber Eats had China House as highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. Since our very first order, they have been on point and have been fast about preparing the food for our driver to pick up.

The food tastes great! The only downfall for me is the price. I either pay less and get trash food or pay a bit more and have better tasting food. I rather pay a bit more. And the portions are not small. We have enough for 2-3 servings for my wife and I. So if you think about it, you're paying for 2-3 meals (at least for us) so it's worth it. Left overs for the win!

I paid $25 for orange chicken with low mein and a beef egg roll. I got general tsos chicken, a vegetable egg roll and yelled at when I asked if there was a menu. The kitchen was slammed on a random Sunday night. A line of 6 grubhub type delivery drivers, all pissed they had been waiting for 20 minutes in a cramped lobby. The only reason this place has customers is because no one in the area actually goes in to the location to see it. It's all delivery. The general tsos sauce was so heavy on the thickener, it was nearly jello. No one should eat here.

This is decent for your standard around the corner takeout. We liked the egg and spring rolls and were pleasantly surprised by the dumplings. The lo mein and hot and sour soup were decent though I'll probably change it up next time. The only thing we didn't like was the jade chicken as the sauce was too sweet for our liking.

** STOP **

I picked up dinner last night.
First off, when I walked in, I should have walked out. It’s filthy and should NOT have a license serving food.

Brought food home. Opened the bag and could not eat it. I literally and figuratively followed my gut instincts and threw it down the disposal. This was a disaster waiting to happen.

Rice was days old had nothing in it; the egg-roll had nothing in it.

The Chow Mein was SOUP.

$15 down the drain. Literally.
It just wasn’t safe.

I have had some great Chinese in Manchester and surrounding areas, and not so not so great Chinese. It can sometimes be a matter of taste I know.

This place…. HUGE NO.

The crab rangoon was the sweet cream cheese kind all the food was prepared on point. I had the Singapore mei fun and it was not too spicy, but had just enough spice to make it the way I've had in the past and they also use a nice amount of lemongrass which is in my opinion a good additive for this dish. They were very friendly and courteous and got the . They were very friendly and courteous and got the meal out in a timely manner considering how busy they were.

The vegan drumsticks (orange and general tso) are phenomenal. The chickeny texture is divine, and the little stick "bone" is clever. This is my favorite Chinese takeout dish on the entire planet.

I ordered a large chicken finger at 11:00 pm yes it said they where closed...it was his choice to cook and make the delivery so he decided too so I was happy and had a ten dollar tip ready for him ..remind you it was 11:00 he could of said sorry we are closed...wich would have been fine...but he took the order. Oh and to remind you my house is a minute away ..he charged me 17.00 dollars for a order of chicken fingers...he never told me the price I thought it be reasonable but it was 17.00 for one order of checking fingers I wanted an extra order of sweet and sour never got it but I'm sure I was charged for it....he is a criminal.....oh ya ..I gave him a ten dollar tip on top of it as a thank you....but I gave the tip before I saw the price he is not a man of honor...he's about him...and his foods ok but not awesome oh and chicken fingers weren't even over flowing just enough to fill the box..and no extra sweet and sour that I'm sure I was billed for he could of said no it's to late and I'd be fine instead he price gouged me oh ya plus my 10.00 tip

Pretty decent overall! Highlights were definitely the soft serves and the pineapple buns. The hot duck bun was also really good! The entrees (proteins) themselves were good but the sides that came with them were a bit lackluster
Unfortunately they had a child answering the phone and handing out the food he complained about so many people calling in and the food wasn’t very good all I got was fried rice

Went there Monday for lunch for the first time. Came in air conditioning barely working was very uncomfortable and hot but was really looking forward for good Chinese food. Ordered Honey chicken 10 minutes later while waiting for order , man came out and gruffley yelled at me "Did you place an order ?" I answered yes I did. Mine you there was only 2 other people there, one construction worker eating and a lady who just ordered with only about 4 small tables and a little counter area, not very busy for noontime. Another 10 minutes later I have not received paid for food so I went up to counter and asked how much longer. The same guy pulls out wrapped food said it's been ready. Rather than argue about their bad service and 80 °restaurant that was too hot to eat in. I went to my car to eat. The food was still hot but was horrible. The battered chicken was hard and inedible. Out of dozen pieces only 3 were semi edible. Even the egg roll was greasy and hard and the rice tasted old. If it didn't start pouring rain I would have walked back in and returned the food literally and I am not that picky about food. Not reordered but returned . I would have forgiven about the bad customer service and lack of air conditioning if the food was good. Don't eat there.
My first experience was at the Tustin location, and had to come bring my cousin who lives in the area so she can experience the gloriousness that is AYCE skewer hotpot here at MLBB.

Despite it being 90°F outside, we still continued our plan to eat here. It was fine as the AC was on.

We came in for lunch and got the a la carte broth - half bone broth and half spicy butter oxtail. We also ordered the AYCE meats on the menu and enjoyed a variety of the skewer options.

However, I would stay away from the spicy broth if you can't handle it, as, even for me, who can hold their spice pretty decently, the mild option was so spicy, my cousin and I were dying, but it was still so good that we continued eating.

There wasn't much staff, but they did their job well and explained things for us and had good service.

I absolutely loved the retro street vibes in the restaurant, as well as the vintage posters of popular celebrities in Taiwan.

Overall, it's a really great experience and will definitely come back.
The food here is delicious. I went here and strictly ate a vegetarian meal and I was so satisfied. As someone who opts for vegetarian options, it was incredibly delicious to have such a flavorful hot pot without having to have meat.
The interior is so cute as it mimics being out on a street. Picking what we want in the hotpot was a fun task, and the service workers were kind and overall an amazing atmosphere. I'm definitely going to continue coming here.

If you're looking for a quick healthy bite to eat, then head over to Milu. They are a counter-serve Chinese restaurant that offers healthy rice bowls. I got the Mandarin Duck one, which ones with a tender duck leg, homemade hoisin sauce, marinated cucumbers, and rice. You can either pick from white rice or mixed grains. Best of all, the mixed grains do not cost any extra.

It is a little bit overpriced for counter-serve food, but it is quite delicious.
Food is fast and delicious, I always get take out and they're the exact distance from where I order to be ready by the time I arrive

Milu is a pretty unique spot for fast and casual Chinese food. They have a good mix of classic dishes with a modern twist. It's a self service type of restaurant where you order up front and you get to sit anywhere you want. The place is so cute and the tables and seating actually look so comfortable. Milu is right by my office, so I decided to grab lunch to go. I ordered ahead on their website and the staff was actually very punctual with the pickup time, which is a huge plus during the lunch rush hour. I went with the Chili Crisp Chicken bowl for the day. The portion doesn't look huge for the price, but it was actually quite filling. The chicken was fried nice, crispy, and wasn't really that spicy. The chicken with the scallion mayo on the side is such a great pairing. There were tons of fresh veggies and the tofu seaweed salad was so refreshing to mix with everything. I don't know why it took me this long to try Milu, but it is now on my list of quick office lunches.

Cute place with good service but food was extremely mediocre.

I’m not sure how I’d describe this place - maybe fancier fusion Chinese food? We went for Saturday brunch so they had the dim sum menu.

Turnip tots were the best thing on the table and the siumais were ok as well. Everything else was not to our liking - however, this may be a personal preference.

The bowl (lotus root + crispy chicken) that we got is more like their normal food, and it felt like a prettier and Chinese version of chipotle.

I’m sure some people will like the fusion-y taste but we will not be coming back again.

I’ve never felt to disrespected and discriminated in my life. I came to lunch on 4/10/2024. I came to bring my date for all you can eat and added the all you can’t drink for two people. We fullly understood that we had a 90 minute time limit. The entire lunch we ordered conservatively and never once ordered more than we could finish. We never ordered after 90 minutes. At 80 minutes we order one more pitcher of beer and 4 small orders of beef. They only brought 2 orders and one pitcher. At 2 hours they told us we over stayed our welcome and should have been gone at 90 minutes. When they approached us they said if they are busy you need to leave at 90 minutes. The restaurant was empty. There was literally 70 percent of the restaurant was empt there was no one there. It was amber the manger that wanted to kick us out. They made us feel so incredibly unwelcome. She mentioned that manger customers waste food.we never once ordered superfluously. When they approached us we had a single plate of beef and half a pitcher of beer in front of us. I never in my life have felt this was but amber kept arguing and arguing about other customers and what other customers do. It was disrespectful and disgusting. I see why this restaurant sits empty. Amber needs to be removed. She treated us in the most disgusting of mangers I felt she saw us less then human. I honestly couldn’t believe it. The server came with our check and said we have here in their empty restaurant longer then 2 hours and we needed to pay and leave
The inside of the restaurant is very rundown, not appealing to the eye. The food is tasteful and good. Ordering was very cut and go feeling. Owners were playing a video game and not paying much attention to anything else.

Came yesterday ordered shrimp fried rice and chicken wings . The rice was dry unflavored and stale tasting, with only about 3 shrimp in the entire thing. The wings were seasoned okay but the wings looked old like they have just been warmed in the microwave and the darker rubbery *crispiness* could tell the grease was old they were fried in.

I messed up my online pickup order, asking for shrimp (which I don’t eat) instead of chicken. When I arrived and told them my order, they immediately offered to remake it with chicken instead even though it was my mistake, and were so nice about it. That is great service. Good people deserve your business!!

Don’t go here. Ordered via DoorDash - the default is white rice. Perfect because that’s exactly what I wanted. You have to pay $3 for fried rice. Tell me why my order arrived with fried rice… we call to let them know and what we get is “That’s not our fault. That’s DoorDash’s fault”. It’s YOUR business. If you make the order wrong then you fix it. Never ordering from here again. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Especially when the customer is right. I suggest you get your DoorDash page and your cashier’s attitude FIXED.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at China Joy. I ordered from Door Dash and was expecting white rice with my order since there was a +3.00 option for fried rice. Because of this, I thought white rice was the default option. When the order came, I had fried rice. No biggy, I’ll just call and see if I can have them deliver some white rice or I could possibly pick some up. When I called the restaurant, they said it wasn’t their fault and that I should have specified “white rice” in the instructions. If fried rice is the default option, why would they include it as an added substitution? It is completely unethical to charge people 3.00 extra for fried rice when they click the option when it’s already the default option. It shows a lack of customer service. Accountability and integrity.
I order nime chow and it was just all noodles with shrimp and a few pieces of basil. I was so looking forward to a good nime chow that was recommended. Guess this place is a no for me.

So I just order all this food from Chop Chop almost $25.00 worth of food. I asked for ranch dressing with my wings and they had the nerve to say. 5 piece wing cannot come with any dipping sauce or ranch. So I offered to pay for it . They wanted to charge me .75 for the ranch. Then when I wanted to pay for it with my cc, they said no because it would cost them a processing fee. What the?? Ma'am your a business and that's called absorbing business charges!! On top.lf that if I just order $25.00 worth of food from you and paid yiuy, you SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME THE RANCH DRESSING FOR FREEEEEE!!! what the hell is wrong with these crazy business owners treating the customers this crazy way???

The food is great .. but this mistreatment will prob make me NOT shop here anymore. I have 4 businesses.. I would NEVER treat my customers like this.. especially if they just dropped good money with me..What the HELL???
Y'all might wanna rethink going here to eat..it's the PRINCIPAL of the thing for me!!! Really ??? 😡😡

Addendum.... And woooow I just tried to eat these same lemon pepper wings that they WOULDN'T give me some ranch dressing for even when I tried to pay for it AND THEY ARE TEEEERRRRIBLE!!! Tase EXTREMELY OLD... Like they've been refried SEVERAL TIMES!🤮🤮🤮
NOW IM REAAALLY PISSED!!! Not only did you do me an injustice as a customer but now your wings are HORRIBLE and I gotta take em back!!

And they better NOT give me a hard time getting my money back or I'm gonna dispute the WHOLE TRANSACTION!!

This is just UNACCEPTABLE!! 😡😡

we just moved to the area and had to find a new place that was closer and came here a couple times. each time it’s been delicious and the people working are really nice. if things on the menu say they are spicy and you aren’t too big on that, they try to help and not make it as spicy 😊
If I could put NO STARS I WOULD! I had food delivered to me at work and in the process of eating my food there was a ROACH cooked in my food! This place needs to be shut down!
WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN I was eating my rice with beef low mien and I found a cockroach in my food a services is so bad she’s so rude don’t recommend and I was a loyal customer who knows if this has happened before 👎👎🤢

I always love dining here. This is my and my fiancé’s favorite local spot! I was a little disappointed they replaced the bar side with just photos of food to order. The bar used to be beautiful. But there was no change in quality of food and service as it was amazing as always! The food comes out fast and hot, servers are always kind. They even let us keep the adorable drink cups. I love this place and we will of course be back!

Store front Chinese restaurant with enough seating for lunch, but primarily a take-out restaurant. Old lunch stop - food is ready fairly quickly. There’s a few indoor tables and a small counter by the i Dow so you can look out at traffic while you eat. Also about a block north on the opposite side of Wisconsin, there’s a small pocket park with some small bistro sized tables and chairs if you want to get the food to go and catch some fresh air.

I ordered the kung pao chicken lunch special, which came with a mall spring roll. The rice and Jung pao filled large paper plate full. Rice choices were white, fried, brown ($1 extra). I appreciated the kung pao with savory but not overtly spicy sauce, plenty of chicken and a generous mix of o vegetables, nice pieces of zucchini, carrots, green pepper and mushrooms.

Good lunch! $15.45 including generic bottle of water.
I called the store because my food had mold on it and the lady who answered the phone was so rude . I was like ma’am I’m just letting u be away your meat is molded she said not my problem u can bring it back
I recently dined at Jade East and had an overall pleasant experience. The gyozas were an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and incredibly delicious. I was also pleased with the value offered by the combination platter – it was a satisfying and well-rounded meal.

However, I must admit that I found the chicken to be a bit on the bland side, which was a minor disappointment. Additionally, while the restaurant has potential, the service didn’t quite match up to the high standard set by the food. It felt like there were some missed opportunities to enhance the dining experience. Personally, I believe a little more attentiveness would greatly improve the overall impression.

Despite these observations, I’m optimistic about the potential for Jade East to become an even better dining destination. With a few adjustments, especially in the service department, it has the chance to truly shine. I look forward to my next visit and hope to see these improvements in action.

I Loved it! I had the Chicken Chow Mein, crab rangoons and chicken wings for dinner. The food is good, it has less vegetable flair than other Chinese restaurants since they are old-style Chinese but tasty none the less and will be ordering from there again. From what I could see their kitchen was very clean and organized.

I’ve been ordering here since I got a really mediocre meal from Mayflower after moving to the neighborhood last summer. Every time the food is good and just what I wanted. I’ve never had an issue, and I appreciate just how many vegetables they put in their vegetable lo mein. Sweet and sour chicken is really good too.

We had the yunnan brisket and the chili crisp chicken. I like the chicken a lot more than the brisket. I don’t like the vegetables that came with the yunnan brisket plate (cucumbers and salad) but I did prefer the ones that came with the chicken. We had the egg tart soft serve which was quite good and they gave us pineapple buns.

I moved here two weeks ago and I've been trying all these various restaurants on federal hill and this is by far my favorite spot. Chili oil poached fish was amazing . I love Italian and seafood and all that but I highly regret not coming here first. So fresh and flavorful. Definitely is better than the other places I've had fish and seafood dishes here.

Lovely southern style Chinese food and great fast casual spot for gathering with friends or a quick meal alone. The dishes all tasted a bit sweet with the sauces. My favorite was the cauliflower and also the tofu seaweed salad among the family style option of 5 dishes. The watercress salad was also nice and refreshing. The cucumber was too sweet. Also liked the mushroom and cauliflower wanton although the texture and size are more like dumplings. The pineapple bun was nice crispy and light.

This place is mids at best. Food was such low quality. Chicken was grisly, gross, low quality chicken I wouldn’t even let my dog eat. The whole order was just so mediocre. Fried rice in particular was bland and gross. Only vegetable found was a few peas and a couple onion slices. Chicken was nasty quality and there was very little flavor. So disappointed.

Honest review. I avoided this place like I do many other places based on reviews. This place should not be avoided. Hot and Sour soup is the best I had in the area. The lunch special General Tso was actually decent. I’m not fond of the breading they use which is like sweet and sour chicken breading, but that is personal preference. Clean restaurant. It’s take out and delivery only. Customer service was friendly. Prices are just right.

Very disappointed. All of the food i ordered was overcooked. Crab Rangoon was chalky. Egg roll tasted as if it had been refried several times. Shrimp fried rice which, as pictured didn't have anything in it. The food was so terrible I felt sick after a few bites. $42 for nothing since it all went in the trash. Disgusting to say the least.

The (milk)tea menu is amazing - pretty much any variety of combination you can think of e.g. boba/jelly/pudding or even Yakult. We had matcha latte with boba and it was so good! Food menu is also huge - dim sum, noodle, Chinese fastfood, Thai or Southeast Asian delicacies, and Japanese bento. I'd personally skip sushi/rolls here. Other dishes were delish and I will definitely return to try other dishes!

I've been back 3-4times and never get disappointed! Tried mango Yakult with magi jelly and loved it. Walnut buns were great too!

Been coming here since I was a kid. The family that owns the place is awesome and the crispy chicken is to die for (especially if you upgrade the side of rice to beef fried rice and mix the two!) No MSG as well, so that’s a plus
The food was amazing, I am only taking off one star because one of the meals, the fried rice was wrong. But other than that, received the food and didn’t have a problem with the “lady” like most persons complained about. So you can give them a try.

I ordered the Pu Pu Platter: an assortment of appetizers. The fried shrimp were delicious; the fried wonton were acceptable; the beef skewers tasted like the beef was very old, and the ribs had very little meat on them. The wonton soup was good. My friend had chicken and broccoli. He thought the serving was way to big.

This place is located in a sketchy spot for a reason. Food taste bland and chicken isn't even real chicken. As you can see in the picture, mostly batter or mystery meat and sauce. Asked for fried rice and got some kind of soy sauce rice, no egg, or any sort of vegetables. This plate was almost $13. You can definitely get something better for that price around the area. Will not be coming back.
This place is really good!!! One of the only ones in Parma and Brook Park!
Usually drive to Cleveland from Brook Park to get food from a place on Pearl road. Not anymore!! The rice is amazing!! I usually am very picky about the rice.

Got the sesame chicken extra spicy with pork fried rice. Overall, the entire meal was really good. I can see why other reviewers had said the customer service was bad. She is not rude, but more “matter of fact”. Was hoping the sauce for the entree wasn’t as sweet, but still good. The pork fried rice was very good. Lots of meat, vegetables, and well seasoned.
Food was good but service and atmosphere was average. Lights were flickering and we didn’t get chopsticks even though we ordered noodles. The vegetables bun only had spinach in it and didn’t come with any sauce so we had to ask for soy sauce. Portions are big and prices were average.

Aug 10, 2021. I decided to try this place at lunch. I could not wait to write this review. At first glance you think oh, how nice does this look. Be warned! Looks are deceiving. Instead of chop chop can you say slop slop. Oh yes. The sesame chicken had no taste. Mostly fried bread no chicken inside. The sauce was bland and had neither sweet nor salty flavor. Just BLAND. Now let me describe this so called fried rice. There is nothing fried about it. Just days old rice which had no flavor. Egg roll was just as bad. Really sad. I have made better sesame chicken, fried rice and egg rolls from watching youtube. This food was just garbage. Could not eat any of this slop.

Ordered General Tso shrimp and was very dissatisfied. There is way too much breading on the shrimp and it all was stuck together in the bowl. Taste like I’m eating corn dog batter with sauce. I could barely taste or see any actual shrimp. Not sure why the shrimp is circular either, I was thrown off by that.
Staff is friendly and service was quick, this shrimp just isn’t it. The fried rice saved me from having to buy another lunch.
I would try this place again, just not the General Tso shrimp.

A fast casual restaurant that is much better than many serious sit downs. Let’s start with the food. A focused selection that was each unique in its own right and absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, each ingredient in the dish has its unique qualities but balanced well with the overall theme. Although the service was self-service the staff keeps the venue clean and is quick to clear tables, and is generous enough to make sure you have everything you need.

The prices reasonable and you’ll be full walking out. This is a restaurant I can see myself eating at 3 days a week for lunch or dinner. Overall, I was shocked at how amazing this place is. Even the canned wine was good! I hope that as they expand, they continue to keep the high quality.

Love this place. Interesting Chinese cooking, nice atmosphere, attentive service. Fantastic pantry to buy sauces. I’m obsessed with cauliflower dish with tofu seaweed salad. Since I’m vegan, I can only eat this but my friends loved their duck as well. High quality and well priced. I love how they serve food. Definitely coming back soon.

Delicious chinese Food for an amazing price! Normal takeout Chinese restaurant. I got their lunch special which was rice and 2 meat selections. Its not a huge amount of selections but it gets the job done. They offer some dishes that are,not normally on Chinese restaurants menu, for example Thai curry chicken with vegetables & basil chicken with vegetables which was absolutely DELICIOUS! :) The cost for the lunch special was I believe $5.50 with tax came out to $6! Great deal! They offer bottle drinks only. I would come here again when I'm in the area.

Please do not order from this place until you have physically walked into it. I've never been in a dirtier restaurant.

Ordered on a friday night. 4 employees rolled in and the place was completely empty. Looking around while waiting for my food, the front end hasn't been cleaned up in a long time. Don't look too close at the fish tank before you eat. Tried to get a look at the kitchen and it didn't look bad from where i was at, at the counter, but the food tasted like something isn't being cleaned or swapped out.

The people were nice. I didn't think the customer service was lacking and the food cooked quick. But it all went into the trash, so what's the point?
