A nice quiet quick getaway
An iconic part of the Buffalo River if your travels take you through the Ozarks this is a great place to stop — camp, swim, float, and enjoy a bit of nature.
So pretty. I grew up on the buffalo river & feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful area

Great place to swim or relax. The path down is tricky when muddy.
Even in winter, the pool is heated to 80-81°, according to the lifeguard manager. It has a max depth of 4’ 6" (1.3M) and has never been super busy.
The pools wet and the suns hot
We canoe and swim for two days. It’s a great experience and the river super refreshing especially when you canoe for more than 6 miles.
It’s a short and slippery hike down to the sand, but well worth it. The hole in the wall reveals itself and the passage to the other side is opened. Small space, few people, heavenly rhythms of waves.
Beautiful, clean beach that has tide pools and very interesting rock formations. We loved our visit here! At night, many people came down to the beach for Saturday get togethers with friends and small beach fires. A great place to play with the dogs (people had dogs but there is a no dog sign). Definitely check it out!
Best place to have pictures here.
1. Beach with rock arch. You will go through this arch and you will get this beautiful ocean view making it the best place to have best pictures. (There was couple photo shoot when we were there).
2. Beautiful sunset here. You will get more beautiful pictures as sunset goes through this arch.
3. Few hikes and high line view points here.
4. Sand is good. So you can play games here like volleyball.
Down side:
1. Tides are pretty dangerous here. So watch before you go for swim. (Although I didn’t see anyone swimming here when we were there so no idea if we can really swim here). Don’t go near water if the tides are too high. ( we did experiment here, we put huge rock near water, and it got pulled away in 3 min with tides.)
2. Watch whether and clouds before you go.

Amazing beach. Recommend going at low tide. Lots of tide pools to explore sea life. Used to be a great local hangout that wasn't very well known. The internet changed that..... just be a cool human being and pick up your trash when you leave. 👍
A hidden gem on highway 55. It's a blink and you miss kind of place. If you don't know what's there, you will miss it. What a great place to enjoy the payette River. It's first come first serve with limited parking, but if you can find a spot it's great.

Excellent place to enjoy a usually lazy float and view some truly awesome scenery. Whether you plan to float for a couple hours or for a few days, you are guaranteed to see tons of wildlife and 200 plus foot tall cliffs that drop straight down into the river. This is what Arkansas is all about. REMINDER...check the water levels, weather forecast and plan accordingly. And don't forget that we do have a small black bear population up here in the Ozark mountains. Stay safe and have fun!

River was beautiful. Minivan in parking lot made me feel uneasy. Didn't stay long, nor did I venture anywhere.
Stopped here for lunch and wish we’d stayed for camping! Beautiful water and beach, chilly in March but would love to come back in the warmer months
Very good and refreshing
A bit of a challenging hike to get down and back up but my 8 year old daughter did just fine. Found some jellyfish along the beach. Not very busy on a Friday around noon, only a couple of other groups there.
Lifetime of memories. Priceless

Been here a couple of times when we lived in the Bay Area. This time we were in CA on a quick visit (me for work and hubby to see his grandmother). Decided to make a trip to the beach and ocean as we don't get this in CO. Beautiful as always. Took a walk down the beach through the hole in the wall. Great day with family and friends.
Summer tradition. It's always amazing no matter how empty or packed it is (except for when the dogs poop in the water near you or try to get into your food or shake their water all over you 😅). We are usually the last ones left on the beach. We bring our sandwiches or BBQ sometimes to make some hot dogs or even carne asada. Can't miss jumping off of the rock and getting the first sunburn of the year. My big kids still love building sand castles (brings back memories of when they were small 🥹). The beach this year is perfect, and the little swimming hole is just deep enough to not touch in the middle.
The last time I was here, a friend had her car window broken, and her purse stolen, 3 years ago.

It was so nice. Water wasn't as cold as I thought it was. It was amazing. Nobody was around, so my kids and dog got the run of the place. It was beautiful.
Me and my kids had a great time. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. A little crowded and parking lot was full.
Very nice « secret » swim and sometimes « jump off a cliff » area. Be very careful to check the depth as it varies from year to year. I learned that one the hard way, but ended up being very lucky.
Chill little spot... Not to far from anything. Great for a quick little adventure. 😉✌️ Traffic noise is the only downfall.

Water was a little low but an awesome place to cool off and enjoy being outside. Going back soon can't wait to see the water level after the hurricane
Close, about a 1+hr drive from Boise/Meridian, just past Horseshoe Bend. No restrooms or other amenities, but awesome! Super clean sand with an area good for smaller kids with no moving water. Rock features and cliffs to jump off of into the main river too. We love this spot, but I imagine can get super busy on weekends and really hot days. We have gone 3 different times in 2021, and always go on weekdays and later in the evening and are usually the only ones there.
This is my happy place! The water is wonderful and the rocks are AWESOME! The beauty is stunning!

Beach is one of the more popular in Davenport. There is an awesome cave and some cliffs you can climb on. Great views all around. One of the best places to visit along the northern Santa Cruz coast.
Great place to cool off your feet.
It is for Marlborough residents and guests only. It is very small, only about 50feet wide. No lifeguards. There are a few picnic tables.

It’s a nice pool, but extremely slippery when wet. Make sure to keep a careful eye on your children at this pool.

This is a decent swimming area for families. Signs state that residents of the area only have access. Pretty friendly crowd though, regardless of residency. It does get busy during the summer as camps frequent the place in the afternoons. Picnic tables, a couple garbage cans, and a Porto potty are available.
Average hotel pool. Does get busy throughout the day. There are toys to play with and music which is fun but no slides.

The pool is of a good size and not too deep. Appeals to mostly a younger audience. Hours are 10am to 11pm daily.

I been here on a covington middle school band trip in Austin texas it is the best service here the people here always give a smile and it will brighten your day it has on my stay.again i love it here.
