While this management company and the property manager Georgia Barton was responsible for my building numerous thefts occurred under her watch because the property manager was careless in securing the building and having her crews lock up. For the losses incurred due to her irresponsibility the property manager sought to lay blame anywhere but where it actually belonged.

Even general day to day management was lackluster. Fees were absurdly high for services rendered.

The property manager seems to have lacked both personal and professional acumen. Moreover she was incredibly unpleasant to deal with.

I would advise any property owner to steer far clear of this company and its manager. You’ll be saving yourself an unnecessary headache.

Fees are absurd to apply to their buildings. Thousands of dollars beyond broker fee. We jumped through hoops for a month, were approved for a co-op in the UES and the owner unexpectedly passed away 24 hours after we were approved. Barton MGMT kept our $650.00 processing fee even though the apartment is no longer listed/available for rent. Georgia Barton wouldn’t even respond to our emails and her assistant screened our calls. Avoid at all costs. Only interested in taking your money.
could not have said it any better about the elevator situation..horrific and management could care less

In my personal opinion, I prefer these apartments over the, pardon my expression, SLUMS that are Seward Park and East River. I mean no offense.

great apartment - but very poor noise control between floors. Add to that, noise from street, and it became an untenable quality of life issue. car got keyed in garage - there are many long time residents, some not so stable. drug bust in playground down the block during the day with kids around. there was a big assessment while we lived there - coop living!

Pre-war building...pretty spacious for being an older building.

Heat definitely works there!

Doorman...

Gym closed during COVID-19

Quiet location
Absolutely amazing here. Neighbors are friendly and everyone seems to have a puppy. You can trust dog people. A few blocks from Grand Central.

Gorgeous and friendly. Real New York vibes
Lived there for 3 years. The concierge service and management is top notch. Very clean and things are efficiently run. Super quiet and just overall well maintained. All around great building. Really enjoyed our years there and left because we needed more space. The guys at the front desk were like family. We really miss it.
Great building with great people.

great place to live
These co-op apt buildings are quite beautiful. They are well maintained by the porters. They have their own private play ground & benches for their tenants, & they have a spacious garage as well. .... JM.

A very well-maintained co-operative of 148 units built in 6 stories between two elevator-serviced apartment blocks. On-site parking and gymnasium for shareholders.

Related mgmt. incompetence to maintain basic needs such as consistent working elevators. It seem to break down every 6-8 weeks out of service for days(last one weeks) and cause mass issue for apartment dwellers. We have lots of families with strollers and kids and this frequent issue is not acceptable. I would not recommend this building to my friend. But the workers are very good and trying to do there best, but blame goes to the related building mgmt. Can the mgmt. make this work? Whatever happened to frequent proactive maintenance check. If
The "Assistant General Manager" at this building - Joni, is very ineffective. Takes forever to respond to emails and never answers the phone. The only way to get in touch with this woman is to physically go into the management office, during office hours, which is difficult if you work.

You'll also have to deal with doormen who act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the so called "services" by some staff at this building are just awful.
NASTIEST Office Manager on the planet -more like a warden with zero personality. Just an overall unpleasant person. Expect to constantly wait for the elevator -one of which is always out of service, the rest picking up strollers on the way down -all day. Front desk -food delivery is just allowed to roam free, rarely call before letting them upstairs. Laundry room -no matter how many signs are posted, nobody every cleans the dryer filter, and the washing machines are loaded with dog / pet fur. Dog owners let their dogs piss all over the stairwell so be VERY careful or you will step in a big pool of pee. Tenants range from nasty to just unfriendly.
worst place to live, absolute awful. They will charge you amazing sums of money and advertise public amenities they will never have or deliver. Horrid management

Quality building management service.
These apartments used to be the nicest in Co-op Village, though the lack of views have made them a little less desirable than Seward Park or East River.
