Wender and Team VP Construction did an outstanding job! We did a remodel on three bathrooms, had to update electrical work, and our kitchen. Additionally, halfway through the project, we discovered dry rot on our deck and had to replace the entire deck. Wender is a consummate professional and a master of his crafts. He and his team were incredibly timely, courteous, and professional throughout the entire experience. This was a a first time remodel experience for my wife and I and Wender truly went above and beyond to ensure we understood what was needed and was responsive in ensuring the parts we picked out were what was needed. We cannot recommend Team VP Construction enough. With itemized estimation costs, there were no mysterious or hidden fees associated and after understanding how some general contractors will lump in everything under one umbrella cost, Team VP Construction broke it out so it was all incredibly clear. On top of that, Wender was sure to walk through what the range of price options would be so we understood what was in the realm of possible rather than just be quoted the highest price.

What can I say, my man Wender came through. I live in a condo unit that needed it's Packaged Terminal AC units replaced. The issue was, the new units were smaller than the old requiring construction work to be had to accommodate. Wender personally came over to observe the exact work that had to be done. We even walked around other condo units to see the best path forward as this work is rather unique. I will say, that level of detail and preparation paid off! We recently were lucky enough to meet Narek through Angie’s List. What a blessing! In 2019 we were taken by a really bad contractor who remodeled our kitchen. It was a mess! I couldn’t even reach the microwave. Narek kept in touch with us every step of the way. His designer was amazing. He worked with our budget. His workers did not fool around but put a full day in and always cleaned up. His crew chief George was great! I had a bad fall right before they started and was in the hospital most of the time and they really worked hard to finish quickly. It is really hard to find good honest contractors but Narek is one. I would recommend him to anyone. If we do any other projects we will definitely use him. He is also a down right nice honest person.

I recently got my basement fully finished and had hired General Construction for this contract. After looking at the final finished work, I am glad to say that Ali and his team have done a terrific job. It was a pleasure working with Ali. He has deep knowledge and a creative mind which he employs to his customers delight. He helped with every aspect of the project inclusing design, permits, inspections, building, plumbing, electrical, and finial CO. The quality of his work is par excellence.

You know your friendly neighborhood spiderman? Mike is your friendly neighborhood roofer. My husband and I just bought a townhouse in Burke and when there was a lot of rain, the horror of every new homeowner, we had a leak in our ceiling. Mike came right away and fixed it in a jiffy. His pricing was extremely reasonable too. Highly recommend and we will be using him again!

We used Cyrus Construction for a full basement finish - rec room, office, and full bath. While they were not the cheapest estimate we got, they were in the middle, and their service and professionalism were worth it. The Project Manager Farzan was always responsive and professional. He worked with us as we tweaked the design a couple times. He also was sure to check in on the project several times. The construction team led by Jose was great. Jose and his team were always professional, clean, and friendly. Jose was always willing to listen and answer questions. They also delivered on time which everyone knows is a rarity with contractors. They told us 6-8 weeks, but were also upfront that it could take longer if there were unforeseen circumstances. They finished in 8 weeks even with a few hiccups and delays with the county inspection. We definitely recommend and will consider them again when it is time for the next project.

Eric and his team did a fantastic job on my kitchen renovation. They were on time, willing to work with my budget, and most importantly made sure to incorporate all the details I had requested which making sure final product was a high quality finish. They handled the entire project from demo, to installing the cabinet hardware, and touching up any areas before completing the project. We ran into some unexpected surprises (as most projects do) and he did a great job to get them taken care of while staying on time. If I ever need any future projects I’ll be sure to reach out to them first.

Cyrus Construction just completed a basement renovation at our home in Falls Church, Va. They took an unfinished basement and turned it into a beautiful space. We added a half bathroom, egress window, a storage closet, and closets for HVAC. The bid, material selection, permits, etc processes were all seamless and expertly handled. They started the project on time and finished in the estimated construction timeline. I was very pleased with the crew, who was diligent and did their best to minimize disruption, and contain and cleanup the inherently messy process. The team was also very responsive on questions and concerns that arose during the project. They also kept us well informed when water or electricity had to be shutoff for brief periods and coordinated with us to minimize the impact. Overall, I am very happy with the finished project, the crew, and whole team who supported the project. We are very much looking forward to using this new space!

We had to change our entire kitchen tiles because of the poor workmanship. They were all cracking and moving. These guys demolished whole my kitchen floor without any dust or dirt. They used vacuum while breaking and cutting the old floor. New workmanship seems perfect. Hope we will not have the same problem again.

Work was completed near time. The staff that came to the house were excellent and very helpful. They resolved any issues that we raised. The quality of the final project was exceeding expectations. As one project was completed we talked with Eric and Jeff and then added on three more projects due to our satisfaction with the original kitchen renovation. I should have posted this review long ago. I interviewed many contractors before settling on Eric and his team at Chicago Custom Kitchens. I was glad I did. Eric and Jeff suggested many different ways for me to save money yet get the look and quality I wanted. Their bid was fair - and unlike other contractors I've worked with - they didn't constantly add extra costs later.

Eric kept me apprised of how long each step would take and largely stuck to the schedule. When he didn't it was b/c suppliers were late, not him or his team. For those who haven't done a kitchen remodel. It can be long and frustrating, but Eric, Carlos and the team kept my place in great shape and cleaned up every day when they left. The finished product is beautiful and just what I sought. I have recommended them to friends and will use them again for other projects which arise.

I’ve done two projects with Chicago Custom Kitchens (CCK) and am currently reaching out to them about a third.

I redid my master bathroom and CCK did an incredible job on the design, color and implementation of the project. I had the bathroom cabinets installed almost two years ago, and the craftsmanship remains excellent.

More recently, I worked with Eric and his team on two custom bars, cabinet doors and a bookshelf. The space was tricky as we needed cooling for the home electronic system in the bookshelf cabinets and the cabinets doors next to our bar are covering a hidden under-the-stairs closet. Eric’s design team came up with the perfect solution to make the space cohesive. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality and finishes of their products are excellent.

Eric, Jeff and their team are not only very good at their jobs, they are kind and awesome people overall. Eric often went out of his way to help me with other aspects of my projects. I was having a tile issue and he connected me with his tile person who was incredibly helpful. He was always accessible when I had questions and was diligent in ensuring I was satisfied with the project results.

We had been looking for a preretirement/ vacation home for about two years in the Ocean View area. During the first few months of the pandemic, we found a brand new home for sale built by EuroHomes that had the features we wanted inside as well as out. Narek and his team build lovely homes. The attention to details caught our eyes immediately when we saw the home online. As others have stated, the millwork alone is beautiful. The design is open and modern allowing a lot of light to enter. We love our house.

The pics below are representative of a ~ $12-$15K master bathroom remodel Cyrus did for us. Included demo (removal of tub, sink / cabinet combo, toilet and 2x large wall cabinets), floor reinforcement, permits / inspection, and install of a walk-in tile shower w/ sliding glass door, new lighting, in-wall medicine cabinet, new vanity, new toilet and new flooring.

Went w/ Cyrus not because their estimate was the cheapest, but because of their apparent professionalism. Russel quickly impressed me as someone who would stand behind and guarantee his work. Quality work, professionalism, flexibility and standing behind your work is more important in my book than being cheapest. Russel and his team delivered on all fronts!

As with any remodel, hiccups occurred that extended the timeline, but most delays were my own fault as I dragged my feet picking out fixtures, tile, etc. All my issues / concerns were immediately remedied. Despite a BUSY schedule, Russel was responsive and always eager to look for opportunities to get work done.

We did have one small problem with a worker not securing our front door via the lockbox / key. This happened once, and upon being notified of our concern, Russel did not allow that worker back on our job.

I highly recommend Javier and his team at IMAI Home Improvement Solutions. They have done a lot of work for us including finishing our basement bathroom, replacing our water heater, fixing a water leak, building a concrete slab for a shed and much more. Javier is very professional and his team knows how to complete ALL kinds of repair and remodeling work. They have done a great job. They are also very nice and easy to work with. We have built two other custom homes and completely remodeled a third, so we know what quality construction looks like. From our first interaction with Narek (owner), I was sure that Euro Homes would be building our new beach home. The job was large, not only were we building a new custom home, but needed to demolish our families large old (1970s) brick ranch house on the property. Narek’s bid was significantly more complete (included items not even addressed in others) and the most competitive we received. Euro is a truly custom home builder – Narek worked together with us to finalize our homes design and features and was willing to work with plans I created myself (not many other were willing to do so). As construction ensued and challenges arose (as they always do in custom construction), Narek gave us all the options and provided his recommendation for how best to proceed and all along kept us on track from a schedule standpoint – even during the peak of the COVID19 pandemic.
We are extremely pleased with our new home and would recommend Euro/Narek and his team to anyone considering a renovation or new home construction.

BOTTOM LINE: Mike did outstanding work on our full basement renovation (family room, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, mechanical room); he built EXACTLY what we were looking for, finishing the project early and slightly under budget. Blue Sky Exteriors is the only company we will work with for any future renovation projects on our house.

PROS: Mike has excellent program management, and everything was arranged seamlessly and professionally. He worked with us step-by-step along the way to ensure our basement was full of custom touches to make it exactly as we wanted. His communication was excellent (almost daily emails and calls to update us on status and next steps) and the quality of the work was excellent. His crew was professional and polite throughout the 8-week project.

CONS: None, really. The work was excellent, the price was competitive, and the personal touch was second-to-none.

The Euro Homes team just finished a complete renovation of our 1970's era Selbyville home in June 2019. We could not have asked for a better experience. My husband is an engineer, so as he watched Euro Homes build a new home across the street from us, he noticed the quality of workmanship and materials they were using and we asked them to provide a bid to renovate our home, along with the other builders we had contacted. The bid they provided was prompt, and a far better value than the others we received.

From our first communications with Narek (owner), we were impressed with his professionalism. His bid was significantly more reasonable and more inclusive than those of the bigger and more well known builders doing work in our area. Euro Homes provided us with comprehensive drawings and specifications that showed their intent to use good quality materials and their plan for how to turn our dated cottage into a prized beach home. Any time we called with a question, we received a response quickly--never more than an hour, often within minutes. One popular area builder provided us a bid that was nearly double the price Euro Homes asked and did not include anywhere near the extensive renovations we were offered by Euro. We made an easy decision to award Euro Homes a contract to renovate our home.

There was no delay in getting permits, and work started quickly, continued on a steady schedule, and was complete within several months. Throughout the process, we were immediately contacted about any snags that were encountered. When unexpected damage was discovered in the process (i.e. mold, termite damage, roof troubles, etc. ) we decided together what to do (remove/fix/replace it!!) and Euro Homes completed the extra work to our satisfaction and only passed along actual costs on the work that was not in our original contract.

We are so pleased with our home now, and feel that we have made a great investment. On the outside, our home was redesigned and made to look attractive with contemporary siding choices, a beautiful screened in porch, concrete patio, walkways, and driveway, as well as a front facing street entry, providing the curb appeal we previously lacked. All of our bathrooms were completely gutted and renewed with beautiful granite, ceramic tile, and quality fixtures. All the floors were replaced with our choices of engineered hardwood, tile, and luxury vinyl. Our kitchen is redesigned and all new---cabinets, counter-tops, appliances, flooring--it is functional and beautiful. We now have beautiful woodwork at all windows and door frames (that is part of Euro Homes' standard offering) and are enjoying the tastefully redesigned and elegant new floor plan which is both functional and pleasing to the eye.

Narek and his team were constantly focused on having us be pleased with the final outcome. When we weren't sure what direction to take, their suggestions were useful, practical, and always in good taste. Narek was always easy to reach, reasonable, and pleasant to work with. He continues to be easily accessible to us for any small adjustments that might crop up now, months after completion of the project.

We are so pleased with our "new" home and know we made the right decision to go with Euro Homes. We have recommended them whenever we have had the opportunity, and will continue to do that.

I had Cyrus Construction build a wet bar in my basement. They listened to what I wanted and made sure that all the details were to my satisfaction. I am VERY pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of their staff and crew. I would highly recommend them.

I was looking for the cheapest contractor I could find to finish my basement, which was approximately 1100 sq. ft. of concrete. I spoke with 4 contractors. Of course every single contractor told me different things. I was told I needed to waterproof my entire basement before they could do anything, I needed an additional electrical panel, I needed an additional sump pump and I couldn’t put my wet bar where I wanted it. This was my first experience dealing with contractors in regards to finishing a basement. Needless to say I was very frustrated because no one would give me a quote, they all kept telling me everything I needed to do that didn’t include the finishing of my basement. I had no idea what I was doing, but I did know what I wanted the end result to be.
The PM, Russell Blake, was the person that came and looked at my basement to give me an estimate. He was on time and very polite. As he took measurements of my basement, he did provide me advice when I was telling him how I wanted my basement to look. I appreciated his opinion, especially since this was my first time. He didn’t badger me or tell me I couldn’t do anything. He also didn’t tell me about all these other things that “I was supposed to do first” before I could even start on my basement. He simply showed me pictures of previous jobs and made suggestions in areas that I was unsure about. I did do research and those items that I was told HAD TO BE DONE, were not items that were mandatory in order to accomplish what I wanted.
I went back and forth with the quote between Cyrus Construction and another contractor. Russell was prompt with his responses. Which I appreciate, I do not like to wait more than 24 hours for a business to provide me with information. They were not the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive. The quote was still within my budget. Cyrus Construction did come highly recommended when I did my research and read the reviews. I did see some reviews that weren’t 5 stars, but I looked at the time of the project, how many negative reviews there were total and how many reviews overall. My concern was the overall rating. I believe you can make some of the people happy some of the time, but not all of the people happy all the time. I also chose Cyrus Construction because they did not BS me!!
Russell was very easy to work with. I changed my mind a few times, but there was never an issue with my requests. Someone was always home at my house, so the workers did their best to stay out of our way and were always very polite. It took about 6 to 8 weeks for my basement to be complete. I added a small room with an egress window, a half bathroom and wet bar to my basement. All areas were fully finished except the gym area, which I had them close off and just add an entry door. I am very picky and a little bit OCD. I went over my basement with a fine tooth comb and provided Russell with my list, which were all cosmetic. Russell made sure that all items were met to my satisfaction before I made my final payment, even down to the smallest detail.
I am very happy with the end result of my basement  I attached some before and after pictures. I am still in the process of decorating, so disregard the grandbaby and toys!!

Great experience! Replaced an upstairs patio door from old single pane with gaps to a new french door set that looks great! Mike was fantastic in being honest about the work and costs and gave a fair price. Installers were absolutely top notch professionals that were kind and respectful and competent. Had a minor nick in the wood frame and Mike came over the next day to take care of it. Great experience and will be our go-to contractor for future projects.

I was referred to Blue Sky Exteriors as a company that has very competitive pricing and excellent customer service. They did a fabulous job on multiple projects in my house. I was very happy with the service, price, and quality of the work. I will have this company on speed dial the next time I need something done.

Stay far, far away. Had to re-order our cabinets twice, due to three different mistakes (two of which were their fault, one of which was the cabinet manufacturer's). Unresponsive customer service---twice I called to check on the status of a reorder and the response was, "Oh, those are here; when would you like to have them delivered?". Maybe I'm nuts but I figure most places would call to schedule delivery, rather than rely on their customers constantly bugging them to see if something has shown up from the manufacturer.

After all the mistakes and over two months delay (costing us a significant amount of money in wasted work days for our contractor, when they showed up to discover broken and/or incorrectly-made cabinets), they were resistant to giving us any discount or compensation on our multiple thousands of dollars order. It took us physically going to the store and waiting for the owner himself to get them to write us a check for just $150 off the whole order (only refunding our delivery fee). They first tried to give us nothing, then tried to give us Lettuce Entertain You gift certificates. By far the worst customer service experience I've ever had in this industry.
