I hired Signature Design Center to redo my kitchen cabinets, island, flooring, and paint the house, due to a leak and I'm super happy with how it all turned out. They worked really fast but still paid close attention to all the little details. They were really good at making my ideas come to life quickly. The way they fixed up the cabinets and island and put in the new flooring was done really carefully, showing they really care about doing a great job.

They made sure everything looked fantastic, from refining the cabinets and island to putting in the new flooring seamlessly. The final touch of painting brought everything together, making my home look amazing. I definitely recommend Signature Design Center if you want fast, detailed, and top-quality remodeling.

We had a sizeable kitchen and pantry renovation. I had a few bumps and bruises in the initial phases but the owner was very responsive, quick to remediate, and assigned me Robbie Goldberg who became my key point of contact. He made everything super smooth and easy from the day I first met with him til the end of construction. The service and quality of work managed by Robbie and his crew was what warranted this 5 star rating. Robbie was also super knowledgeable, would be very open on what works and what doesn’t, and a great problem solver when unexpected things pop up.
I worked with MyHome to renovate my 2BR on the UWS earlier this year. Running through a short list of candidates, I felt most comfortable with Andrew and his team.
They handled most everything and while they were not the cheapest contractors (nor the highest bidder), I love the work and the way they navigated the process for me.
Andrew walked me through all of my options and I think we ended up doing the right amount of work. He was very honest about how he would renovate if it was his and his wife's space and it helped me and mine make decisions.
Robbie and the crew made the actual renovation a breeze. The attention to detail from top-to-bottom was refreshing - even at times unexpected. My favorite detail are the doors and trim, we didnt go white and I love it - there is a picture here to see.

We had a wonderful kitchen remodeling experience with MyHome. Our kitchen was probably the original kitchen from the 1920s, when the building was built. It had become virtually unusable. MyHome completely transformed it into a beautiful kitchen that is a joy to work in. From start to finish, MyHome were superb. Lior dealt with the contractual arrangements and was understanding of our particular needs. His handling of the permits and Board approvals was trouble-free. For the design, MyHome offered a very broad range of options regarding cabinets, floor tiles, countertops, lighting, backsplash, appliances, fixtures, etc. Eran, assigned to our project, guided us through the design, and managed the construction. With his help, we ended up with just what we wanted -- our dream kitchen. The construction went very smoothly, and was substantially completed in less time than was originally estimated. Eran was superb to work with. He was on top of the entire process. Exceptionally responsive, he replied very quickly to every one of our many questions, email messages, and phone calls. This was a great comfort to us, and provided assurance that we were in the best hands. The construction team, led by Otari, was excellent. They performed their tasks with skill and care, and were respectful of our home. The project was completed on budget. We unreservedly recommend MyHome to anyone contemplating a home renovation project.

We were introduced to LB General Construction, Inc. and the general contractor, Louie when he was doing work in our building. Our initial impressions were that the workmanship was well done. He and his team were following the plans drawn by the architect and were following them with attention to detail. The worksite was clean and organized. After seeing the work, we hired Louie to renovate the bathroom. We were extremely impressed at the skill of the individuals that worked for him and the craftmanship they showed. Louie was present on site to ensure that the job was moving along and that the work was being done to his standard. We were so happy with the final product that we hired Louie to renovate the entire apartment. As expected, the job was done to specification and done with excellent skill. Louie does not take shortcuts and does not make decisions without speaking to you. Louie remembers everything that you speak about and is excellent in following up to ensure that he delivers. Most importantly the work is excellent, and we are so happy with the renovation. You can’t go wrong working with Louie and his team. You will be thrilled.

Twenty years ago, My Home was just a small store front located on Amsterdam and West 90th street. Since they were in the neighborhood, I thought, "Why not"? Never did I realize that I would continue my relationship with My Home 20 years later to have my kitchen renovated again. What I am particularly impressed by (of many things) is the level of craftmenship and attention to detail. If something is not to your liking, it is fixed. For example, I was not happy with how the base cabinets were installed. They were in fact installed properly but I wanted something different. My project manager, Robbie Goldberg (who is simply amazing) looked at me puzzled and said, "Are you sure?" I was sure. It was a reasonably big job to redo the base cabinets in the way I wanted but at no point did I feel like this would be a problem. Robbie said with his usual upbeat and positive attitude, "When you're happy, we're happy." He told his workers to make the changes and they did. I couldn't be more thrilled with my updated, spiffy new kitchen with a beautiful new floor. beautiful cabinets and a glorious paint job. I ultimately kept my vintage red countertops which was not a problem to keep and reinstall. Since you get what you pay for, My Home is not for bargain hunters. They are flexible when determining labor and materials, but you get what you pay for and for me--the second time around, I am just as happy as I was with the results now as when My Home first did work for me. Just because I know how helpful reviews are, the photos below show the excellent grout work, my steam pipe matches the walls, the beautiful bamboo floor and installation of the molding, the flawless paint job and the perfect installation of the microwave. I highly recommend My Home. They are an amazing company that operates in a way few do--with humanity, kindness and a willingness to find a solution when a problem arises. They deal with the whole customer because they know a renovation is a highly personal and stressful endeavor. Thank you My Home. Thank you Robbie and everyone on the team who helped make my renovated kitchen look amazing.

Landis has my highest recommendation for Design/Build firms in the DC area. We trusted Landis with the renovation of the second floor of our home - a roughly 150-year-old row house in Capitol Hill (with all sorts of quirks) - and Landis did an amazing job keeping the project on schedule and within budget. The design process was a joy, and they kept us updated with photos and regular reports throughout construction. Keeping the project on schedule was especially important for us, as my wife was expecting a baby to be born within a month or so of the project completion. And to top it off - we started construction right at the onset of the pandemic - and Landis still found a way to make it work! Dana Kaminsky with Landis orchestrated the entire project, and we were amazed with her level of support and the professionalism of the entire design and construction teams. The outcome was spectacular - even better than we had hoped! We were absolutely delighted by the experience.
A big renovation can cause a lot of anxiety. It is much easier if you find a good contractor. That is our experience with NY contractors. Andy and his guys proved to be reliable, hard-working, and knowledgeable. They did our kitchen, and the main bathroom, installed wooden floors and doors throughout the house, and we can say they did a high-quality job. There were other things they improved. These improvements meant a lot to us, like painting all the windows and radiator covers. Attention to detail was unbelievable. It is hard to say what our favorite is, gorgeous bathroom, white and indigo kitchen, or the banister Andy made for us, a simple, elegant art. Their work ethic is commendable, cleaning everything after they finished was great. It is refreshing to have contractors, who are so readily doing their best and repeat saying, they want to make you happy. It is rare to hear it today. It is important to say that everything was done on time.

Landis transformed our kitchen to make it look stylish and modern. The design and layout of the kitchen completely changed, and it looks absolutely amazing! The value of our house has significantly increased. Dana Kaminsky, the team leader, was a pleasure to work with. She has a great personality, cares about her clients, and brings a tremendous amount of value to her projects. Maurice Brown, the project manager, was very responsive and ensured the quality of the work met Landis standards. I felt that all the employees that worked on the project were professional, respectful and dedicated to doing quality work.

They manually manipulate the "remaining balance" and "payments less received" on Buildertrend (software used to manage finances) as it suits them. I have pictures of it changing almost daily - with or without payments/change orders being received. They then blame it on them "still learning" how to use the software, but it's been way over a year since they started using it. They are extremely sneaky and desperate at the moment (we had to pay for work in advance that hadn't even been completed yet just to get the electrician in because Knockout didn't have any money). They also use large deposits made on products on things other than what they legally tell you it is going towards. Do NOT make large deposits in advance - they will NOT have the money you paid them when the time comes and will need you to make payments toward other invoices before they can even order it. That has happened to us more than once.

Andy and his company did some work for me to repair a solar installation. He was communicative, efficient, effective, thorough and professional. A fairly simple problem caused by a poor installation and made worse due to denials by solar company was finally repaired after 5 years thanks to them.
I had a fantastic experience working with Andy and his crew on some interior renovations in our apartment — wallpaper, tiling, replacing bathroom fixtures and some light repairs. From estimate to scheduling to doing the work, Andy was a fantastic communicator with an attention to detail and strong understanding of aesthetics. He was direct in explaining what would be easy or difficult, why we might choose to do things one way over another, and what he would recommend. I decided to hire them because I was confident that they cared deeply about the quality of their work. I was not disappointed! Andy was always very easy to get on the phone, schedule the work with, and they were able to complete the job in exactly the 2-day window they had proposed. The quality of the work is excellent — everything looks perfect. I look forward to hiring them again in the future.
I worked with the sales woman named Gloria Seitel to renovate 6 bathrooms in my house. Gloria always behaved like she had a chip on her shoulder but I worked with her because she was recommended to me by my realtor. Through the sales process she was somewhat responsive because she was making sure she gets her commissions. We returned almost $2000 worth of material that she sent to us and charged us incorrectly for. That money was never returned to us and Gloria never bothered returning any of my calls or emails. Gloria is a thief and she is disgustingly rude. Please do yourselves a favor and work with someone else at Porcelanosa or go to one of their other locations. Just stay as far as you possibly can from Gloria the glorious thief.
As a vendor partner to Landis Construction for roughly 10 years, I can attest to their quality team. The team at Landis Construction is collaborative and solutions-driven. Every staff member with whom we engage exudes the pride and commitment to excellence that has built a great culture. Simply put : it’s a terrific team that delivers for their customers.
Myhome did our 2 bathrooms in our NY apartment and that was very professionaly done. So after a year or so we had Myhome redo the kitchen with fabulous results. And what is so great about them they stand by the warranty the gave. They do come out if you have an issue and take care of it free of charge.

Andy is uncommonly responsive and they were always on time. They were a little more expensive than other bids, but we suspected it would be worth it and we were not wrong. I had a total apartment renovation, which included 2 bathrooms, a new kitchen, new flooring throughout the apartment,, and skimming and painting. Louis and his Team were always on time and very responsive to what I wanted done..including what was in the contract and any changes I made during the renovation.. I have done my mother’s and aunt’s bathrooms. I also did three of my own bathrooms including a shower fixture. The quality and look of these tiles are beyond extraordinary. All tiles were beautiful on the wall and easy to put up on the wall. We could not be more pleased. Shower fixtures are great!
We hired LB general construction for our 1bed apt home renovation long time ago. The team handled the task efficiently and provided high quality work. After years of using/normal wear, the quality still stands out, so i think Louis and his team deserve a 5-star review. I would definitely use their service again next time.

We were in good hands with Knockout all the way. From design to finish, they took care of every detail and communicated well. They gave us a firm budget and were careful to let us know how any changes in plan affected the price. Our project manager gave us beautiful plans and helped with all the product choices. He watched over every detail and made sure that our home was perfect at the end of the project. Our only complaint was that the project took longer than estimated. But considering the supply chain problems during 2022, we understood the difficulties.

Knockout Renovation had remodeled my bathroom a few years ago & I am reusing them for another project in the near future. They are a one stop shop! It was the easiest construction project I have ever lived through. From picking out products, drawings, even help with my co-op board & permits that I needed. Everything came in on time , they cleaned up everyday before leaving. I didn’t need to do anything. I highly recommend Knockout if you want a stress free renovation project!

I hired Knockout Renovation to do a major reno on my Manhattan condo. I worked with a designer, who then became my project manager, handling all the details of the complicated project. This approach is much superior to the more traditional process that friends of mine have used, where the client selects an independent designer, and then has to hire and coordinate an army of individual contractors to perform the work.

We chose to work with MyHome Design Remodeling to renovate our bathroom because we had a great experience with them 11 years ago when they remodeled our kitchen (I still love it!) The bathroom is beautiful. We are very please with the design and with the very professional work. Also they were responsive to my questions and concerns, giving me quick answers and explanations as well as help in determining several changes in the plans. One proviso, there were some delays slowing down the completion of the the work, so try to ensure that they can move ahead steadily when they start. We are altogether happy with our new bathroom. We would highly recommend My Home for your home.
Rosa is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!!! She helped me find the tiles I wanted, even though they had been discontinued. When the free standing tub I ordered arrived missing the drain, she made sure to correct the issue in a timely manner and stayed in touch with updates until it arrived. As for Porcelanosa, they have a great selection that really fits the contemporary style I was going for.
My husband and I renovated our NYC apartment and had an overall wonderful experience with Louis and his team. He was professional, communicative and experienced. He is solution oriented and always explained all our options. He kept his workspace clean and got the project done on time. He has amazing attention to detail, extremely extremely neat and organized and the nicest people working for him. Everyone that comes to my apartment is blown away by the quality of work and the outcome. He also took initiative on everything and created great timelines of when to order what. We did a full soup to nuts but renovation and everything came out better than expected. I couldn’t recommend a better contractor in the NYC area!!!!
I had the most fantastic experience doing a major renovation of a 2000 square foot apartment in Manhattan. Each person involved with the project ( michael p, Justin S, Rafael P) we’re all professional, always helpful, always on time and each one really knew their area of expertise. I am now currently in my newly renovated home and walk around in utter amazement as to what was done. There are no mistakes. Everything went according to plan and even their pricing was on target. I had no idea that remodeling an apartment could be such a wonderful experience. I miss these guys already ! Truly !
Fred responsed to all my questions and concerns throughout the process in a professional and friendly manner which was what exactly I had hoped for and he listened and resolved any issue that came up. All the workers were friendly and did their work well. Like all construction projects, you have to communicate your expectations clearly and make sure you're both on the same page. Fred would let you know what we needed to provide and what he would provide. He did what he said he would deliver.
Absolutely transformed our bathrooms!! I love the end result, their team worked in a timely and professional manner, and worked to offer some of the best prices I’ve ever seen! I will definitely be bring them for all our future projects.
I had an excellent experience with RH construction. They replaced my roof, back wall and built a private roof-top deck as shown in the picture. We were looking for something contemporary for our bathroom and this place was good fit. Hope they add more options and ability to mix & match things. We bought vanity. Rosa helped us looking around and providing info on availability. It helped us in making decision. I would recommend to see her if you plan to visit. Also, if you plan to visit Porcelanosa, do not go to Brunswick store; horrible customer service.
Sharon Tan, was excellent in helping select tiles for my master bathroom floor and helped me find the perfect match for my bedroom floor - replacing the rug. Sharon's follow-up was timely and suggestions for saving on shipping cost was appreciated.

RH Construction remodeled our kitchen, including installing new cabinets, backsplash and appliances, and they were amazing. From the initial consultation to the design and selection of cabinets and tile to the installation, they were thorough, professional and efficient. Abdul had great suggestions for colors and materials and the end result is beautiful (see below for before and after). The project ran exactly on time and Abdul was very communicative throughout. His crew worked cleanly and on schedule. Overall a great experience—I highly recommend RH Construction.
We hired Grandeur Hills to do our apartment gut renovation in our Manhattan co-op. It was our first time doing this sort of project and we were not totally sure what to expect. Alisher and his team were excellent to work with and did a fantastic job. From day 1, he was always responsive, professional and fair. Right as we were about to get started with our project Covid hit and our building paused our work for a while, and then we had a flood from a neighbor which delayed things further and also required some rework. Alisher stuck by us, helped us with everything we needed to get back on track, and generally made a stressful process less terrible. Some highlights that we especially love: our millwork is beautiful -- incredibly high quality, we love all the additional ideas that we were able to include like automatic on / off closet lights, new placement of our gas stove which allowed us to open up our kitchen, LED strip lights without losing height of our ceiling, touchlight under the counters and near our stools. Alisher is a good guy, and we enjoyed working with him, Sherzod, Igor, and Peter. Would definitely work with him again!

KB Transformation came back to do our kitchen and master bathroom. Emilio and Mark did a beautiful job on both rooms. We had a family gathering recently and everyone complimented on how luxurious all the rooms look now. My sister will also call KB Transformation to do her bathroom in the near future. We hired RH Construction to work on the windows of the church and repair the roof. The team was professional and did a great job. They gave us a good and fair price for the work. I would highly recommend them.
Andy is the best contractor we have ever hired and we highly recommend NY Home Improvement Services. Andy and his team were simply AMAZING and we have been raving about his work ever since they finished – so this review is overdue! Andy obviously takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows. He worked closely with us to understand what we wanted, and was hands on in the work, ensuring the quality of everything was up to the highest standards. His team was consistently professional, punctual, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. Andy was open, honest, and able to trouble shoot unexpected items without it costing us more money. He finished the work on time and for the same amount originally quoted. Andy’s work exceeded our expectations and he even started hours early to hand carve a beautiful oak transition molding for our pocket door. We are so very happy with the work that he has done for us. We selected Louis and his team from LB General Construction for a renovation of our NYC apartment that included a full kitchen and bath remodel, as well as new doors, tile work and custom closets. From the initial consultation and competitive quote to the last days of the project, Louis was incredibly engaged, helpful and responsive. In the early stages, Louis helped with the submission to our co-op’s managing agent and addressed their frequent questions (not an easy task). During the course of the project Louis worked hand-in-hand with our design team from Intelligent Kitchen (also great), kept the project on schedule and ensured the work was done properly. He reached out with suggestions along the way and helped us quickly navigate any unforeseen issues that popped up. Importantly, our building’s staff and our neighbors were very complementary of Louis and his crew throughout the 3 month project. We enthusiastically recommend LB General Construction and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
I had them replace my counter tops at all 3 properties. When I needed repair on one of the counter tops, the receptionist, Rachel, told me that they are a different company now and can't help me! I looked them up to find out that they have the same license number and the same owner so I sent them another email requesting the owner contact me, never heard back!

I reached out to numerous design and build firms. I got detailed quotes from 4 different firms, while Knockout Renovation didn't provide the cheapest quote, it was very competitive and I felt most comfortable proceeding with them.
Both June and Keith have been great to work with and they helped me make the best of my space and proposed designs that fit my needs and aligned with what was important to me.
The approval from the co-op board was a struggle and I had to negotiate on some matters with the board. This added significant delays to the work start date and I didn't get approval for everything I wanted. The delays threw some of my plans off. While these delays weren't coming from Knockout, rather from the co-op board, my feedback to Knockout would be to keep track of the average time co-op boards take to approve bathroom renovations and set expectations with clients accordingly.
Once the project was finally started, Knockout Renovation delivered on the actual demolition and reconstruction work on time and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I'm extremely happy with the outcome, the bathroom looks and functions great! I would use Knockout Renovation in the future again. Thank you for everything!

We did a major design/build project with Landis on a historic home where we gutted and updated the existing interior and then added a large addition. They were simply amazing to work with. Super organized, trustworthy, on-time, high quality and the finished product is perfection. Many of our neighbors complimented us on such a courteous and efficient team during the renovation process -- when do you hear of that?? There were often up to 20 tradespeople working at the same time to get a long job done in exactly the time they said it would. Highly recommend Landis for large and complex projects.
My wife and I selected MyHome Design and remodeling to do a near complete overhaul of our kitchen and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Andrew & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new countertops, floors and details into how we wanted the kitchen to look. He was able to work with us and ensure we didn't exceed our budget limit and there were no "surprise" costs that you usually hear about other workers. We then worked with Tiffany as well to finalize what we wanted and she gave us some good recommendations.

Over the past few years we have worked with Knockout Renovation on a number of projects. They have a professionalism and attention to detail that is rarely seen in the home renovation industry. When dealing with sliding doors and walls the success of the product you buy is inherently related to the quality of installation and Knockout has shown the ability to consistently produce exceptional results.

From our backyard patio over garage and stone wall to our front steps and our rear room addition, they have done an extensive amount of work in our house. Carlos Marin was very skillful and professional with his carpentry work, and Ethan Landis made sure the process was smooth. They listen, are easy to talk to, responsive, interested in our home, and are proud of the quality of their work. They also have great coffee mugs!!

Landis has done two projects for us: expanding the house, with new kitchen and master bedroom, and later converting two porches into living spaces. Both times, we have been impressed by the quality of design and execution. The crews are really skilled, and good problem solvers when faced with structural issues. Schedules are met. Oversight is consistent and helpful. We are very happy with the results. Andrew Kerr, the project manager, and Ken Guillett are both very professional and skilled, and were a pleasure to have in our home.
I first hired Landis in 2012 to restore significant damages done to my house. What they were able to do with my home completely surpassed my expectations. Joe Caw has been the project manager for each time that I have hired Landis and him as well as Ethan were always professional, respectful, and quality focused. I also hired Landis to do work on my basement and some exterior projects, and with both of them I got an incredible amount of value. I was particularly pleased with the all new bathroom they installed.
I have hired Landis several times over the years for different renovations, and each time we have been so happy with the outcome. From the first job to the most recent, Landis has maintained an excellent standard of quality and professionalism. We continue to appreciate our remodeled kitchen and bathroom as well as basement and garage (and our daughter's room!!) each day, and I would always recommend them for any residential remodeling or additions.

Very rare to find a contractor in NYC area that delivers work as promised. I've had Louis worked on our condo on several occasions. Every time his men did very good work and on time. His price is a little on the high side. But Definitely worth it. Work with him if you don't want any surprises.

This time he was too busy to devote full attention to my project. Material was not ordered early enough to meet the expected completion time. I have to admit that the quality of the work is still good (whatever part that was completed). But supervision and management of the work was sloppy. There are areas of work that did not get completed even till now two months later. I've been unsuccessful in trying to get him to come out to finish the work. I now hesitate to recommend Louis.
